Megan was so helpful to me when she realized that the red and painful marks on the bridge of my nose was caused by an allergy to metal! I had know idea - I thought it was the silicone pads! She made an adjustment to the glasses that lifted them off where they were touching my face - its been 4 days and the pain and redness is almost completely gone!! I have had them adjusted 4-5 times before but without success - this has resolved my problem completely! I am truly grateful to Megan for her knowledge, professionalism, and her willingness to take time to go the extra mile. I highly recommend a visit to Eyemart Express in Layton, UT, if you are in need of eye care of any type! My wife and I are new to Eyemart Express after going to Costco for years. We wanted more selection and options. The staff here is friendly and knowledgeable and the selection of frames is fantastic! We got three pairs each for a very fair price. A few months later I had to relace my sunglasses after they were stolen. Alyssa, the manager, got me the exact frames I had (which I loved) and was able to put them on my warranty. I am so grateful for that. She has been so pleasant to work with.

Ok all. This company has gotten a lot of bad rap on Google. I even saw the reviews and was scared to go there. But I took the plunge and went and it was the best decision ever. You see, I needed progressive lenses. Those are not cheap. I went to their local competitor and was sold a $500 pair of glasses. Since I didnt know about Eyemart I went ahead and bought them. I now realize I was price gouged. When I went to Eyemart they had two pairs of progressive lenses for just $80!!! And no birth control lenses either!! These are high quality frames and lenses. And even with their machine down a day I still got my glasses back within two days!! The Layton Utah staff are so helpful and amazing!!! I would totally go there again. They are the best!!!

Eyemart was incredible! They were extremely helpful and I was able to get 2 new pairs of glasses for only $40!!! They have great deals and they got my glasses done within the hour so I didn’t have to wait for them for very long at all!!I also had another pair of glasses that I bought online but my prescription changed so eyemart helped me get new lenses in my other glasses even though I didn’t buy them from their store!

I used to go to Target Optical and even though they were ok there were a few times that my glasses needed to be re done. Worst Experience Ever. First I called and made an appointment for my Husband and it got scheduled in Bosie Idaho I asked how that happened when I called the Clearfield UT Locaton she stated that they have overflow that answers the phone. Ok Mistakes happen and she rescheduled us for the correct location. His Appointment was on Saturday we ordered 2 pair of glasses and they said if we wanted anti glare it would be 2 Weeks but if not they could have them done that day. So we opted to not get anti Glare because we wanted them that day we requested Transition Lenses and were told no problem with that it would be same day. Well we waied all day and they were not ready this was on Saturday so Monday comes and The manager calls my husband and leaves a message that the glasses wont be ready until October 2nd since this is not what we were told he immediately called back and spoke to her she said that was an error and that his glasses would be ready Tuesday. So here it is Tuesday and only one pair were ready and did not have the transitions as requested and here is the kicker I took my RX in because I was going to order glasses for myself that I had already picked out and was Told that because they were closing in 10 minutes they had other things to do and could not take my order. Excuse Me. I have been in Customer service a long time and you never turn a customer away no matter what time it is as long as they walked through the door before close. Needless to say they will not being getting another dime of my money I will go elsewhere. Oh and let me also throw in that the complimentary bottle of lens cleaner they gave us was an insult maybe 2 squirts if your lucky on a $500.00 Glasses order really.

Meagan and Amy both were very helpful‼ Came in because my glasses fell apart and had to have them repaired. Meagan said I could make an appointment if I didnt have time that day. She had me look through frames and see if there was something I liked. While looking she ran my insurance to see what I could get and printed it out.Choose 2 and she held them for me.Came back for my appointment the following Monday had my exam.Amy was so very helpful explaining what insurance would pay and my cost. She gave me several different options. I chose the best one for me. She explained there would be down payment and that it would take 3 weeks for them to get back. I felt like I was very well taken care of. Even got my glasses a week and a half early. Excellent customer service❗You wont be disappointed with Eyemart Express ‼

She help me thru the process of picking my frames and lenses and I was in and out Im about 30 to 40 minutes.then they told my glasses would be ready to pick up in a about 2 hours..sure enough my glasses were ready with in that time.what a great experience. I was skeptical about going into a glasses while you wait shop. I’ve always gone to a typical eye doctor. I had a pair of glasses made from an existing prescription, thought they looked a little blurry at distance, scheduled an eye appointment with their in house optometrist, got a new prescription, and they remade the lenses free of charge. I haven’t seen this clearly for as many years as I can remember. They are awesome!!! Thanks.

Very professional from start to end. Feel very good about the job the optometrist did very good job. Excited about getting my new glasses. Then went to pick out my glasses Mitch did a great job double and triple checking everything.

Ordering the glasses went great, no issues. One pair and lenses were in stock and should have been ready that day. The second pair they had to order the lenses, so they said a week to 10 days. I called 2 weeks later after not hearing anything and they said they had both pair and they would be ready in an hour. Im not sure why I didnt get a call, but ok. I showed up to pickup the glasses and they got one of the glasses wrong. They were supposed to be sunglasses and they just put in a clear lens. They were nice, but when I told them I live 30 minutes away and hoped they could get them done while I waited, they said they couldnt do that and that it would be an hour and a half. Ok, whatever, I guess I have to come back. When I put on the other pair, they didnt want to help adjust them to my face. As I moved them around and tried to see how they looked and was fiddling with them, the guy just stared at me. Really, it was a very poor experience for me that they didnt want to speed things up a bit for me since I lived a ways off, and didnt want to help fit the glasses. When I go back to pickup the other pair I guess I will have to push to have both pair fitted to my face. It just seemed like they didnt care for customer satisfaction at all. Im pretty disappointed and wont be giving them any more of my business and wont be recommending them to anyone else either.

We went in on 10/30/20 and was helped by a gentleman named Mitch. He was engaged with our picking and choosing of frames for my 7 yr old son. When we told him my son is hard on his glasses he showed us a few frames that had the best flexibility to handle a rough child. I was very happy with his suggestions and so was my little guy. If you ever have to go in ask for Mitch. He was awesome

Loved Dr Turner and loved the manager Allysa. Talking about going above and beyond!!!! I am new to having glasses and she was extremely knowledgeable and patient! She never made us feel rushed. She gave her professional and personal opinions and helped me choose a great pair of glasses. She also spent a lot of time helping my daughter pick hers out. I looked around at 5 stores before I finally found the best one in Layton at Eyemart Express. They were SOOO NICE and helpful and had the best prices too. They also didn’t treat you like you had the plague and understood in order to find the right pair of glasses, you have to try a lot on. They have to disinfect each pair you touch, but never made me feel bad for trying them on and being in their store like so many others have. The thing I loved the most about my experience with Allysa, is that she was really good at picking glasses out to help bring out the best in your features. Many don’t have the “eye” and knack for this and just tell you every pair looks amazing so they can make a sale and get you on your way. Allysa was completely honest and had such great suggestions and things to think about that I had never considered. It felt like she wasn’t just pushing me off, but was truly invested in me. I can’t say enough good about her. She needs a pay raise! She was that good. I will be telling everyone I know about her and for people to ask for her by name. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else. She even remembered my name! How many places do you know, have that kind of customer service and care??? Only here!

We ordered glasses a month ago and although advertised glasses ready the same day, we were told it would take 2 weeks. Ok not a big deal. When we went to pick them up 2 weeks later, they were given to the wrong customer. They assured they would reorder and we would have them in another 2 weeks. Manager who is never available or in store was supposed to call us after leaving multiple messages for her. Never called. Now, a month later no glasses still. They wont refund our money. Just a promise that the manager will look into it and call us back. I have bought my families glasses there 3 times prior to this and was satisfied as a repeat customer. However, after this experience, I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Wow! We came up from West Valley because of a radio ad. It was so worth the drive! Their selection was the best Ive ever seen, and the prices were great. We got two good pairs of glasses for what we would have paid for one pair at our eye doctor.Carmelita was the best! She was very sweet and helpful and gave us us just the right amount of attention. We were unable to take the glasses home the same day because of an insurance issue that was no fault of theirs. It was resolved quickly, and Carmelita walked through the order completion process over the phone with me and even shipped them FedEx, at no charge to me, so that I wouldnt have to make the drive back up. My daughter broke her glasses and we needed to replace them. She has an eye appointment in a couple of weeks with a Dr that we love. We just needed new glasses. Eyemart was so great. We got 2 new pairs, with one year insurance for the price of one pair. The best part is that when my daughter has her eye exam, if her prescription has changed, Eyemart will replace her lens for free because its within 90 days. So great! Also, her glasses were ready in an hour!

Im super impressed! I usually have high anxiety when going in to buy glasses. Kind of the same feeling you get when youre shopping for a used car. You know youre going to get a high pressure up-sale and then those extra fees will add up fast. We went in for the $20 pair of glasses, as advertised, and not once did they try to up-sale us! We paid $20 plus tax for each pair, that included the lenses! Very friendly and helpful, extremely low pressure. And all our glasses were ready in less than 30 minutes. My sons only took 9 minutes to make. 9 minutes!! I highly recommend Eyemart Express. Emphasis on the EXPRESS! 😁

When you spend a few hundred dollars on 3 pair of glasses, ya kinda expect to be able to see out of them. I knew they werent right when I picked them up, but the girl told me to wear them over the weekend to see if you get used to them, but I couldnt take them back because the store closed soon afterward due to COVID. I later took them to my new eye doctor because they have an in-house optical shop & the optician told me the measurements for pupillary distance were wrong & the prescription was wrong. Would NOT recommend.

Very pleased with this place. Lost my glasses on Saturday night, needed something Monday. Got my prescription from a doctor Monday morning and since the glasses were going to be a couple days I came here. Was able to get a backup pair for immediate use and a pair of sunglasses for less than 130 and both were ready in less than 40 minutes. Got me the vision I needed to drive to work and I got some compliments on the frames. Definitely will come back if I ever need anything quickly. They are amazing.

While the employees were helpful and they will work with you to get your glasses correct, at no time was I told what the lenses and frames will cost during the process.I also was not told that the frame I chose would not offer enough lens space for a progressive lens, making trying to read thru tiny bottom area impossible.Ended up with less expensive single lens glasses for the cost of progressive lens.Mgr. refused to refund difference.

Eyemart went above and beyond with their customer service. My son is serving a mission and because of Covid couldn’t get his glasses in before the one year mark. The store honored his warranty and even mailed him his new glasses. We will be customers for life!! Thank you!

This is the first time I visited Eyemart Express. Immediately impressed by the cleanliness, available hand sanitizer, and the process to keep every pair of glasses sanitized. They were very clear with their offers, pricing, insurance coverage, etc. I havent received my glasses yet, so I cant rate on their quality yet.

I was greeted immediately and had all my questions answered within 10 minutes. My glasses were done in an hour. They gave me the best deal they could find plus a teacher discount! I am afraid they will go out of business because they are so nice and accommodating. I recommend you using them ASAP. Businesses like this just don’t last long nowadays!

We had a great experience here. They fixed my daughters frames super quickly after she bent them. I was able to pick out two pairs for myself and get them back within an hour and a half of walking in the front doors for the first time. The glasses are great, the staff were wonderful to work with.

Alyssa the store manager was so helpful in explaining why my sons prescription needed extra time so it wouldnt be ready until the next day since we went later in the evening. Then was kind enough to give us an extra discount for the inconvenience! Layton eyemart is probably one of the best places Ive been. They are so friendly, and they help you out so much! My kids love going there because the staff like to play with them and keep them occupied while you get done what you need. They have such cute glasses and most are a lot more affordable than other places. Molli and Carmelita are the ones that helped us. Carmelita is so stinking cute and my baby loves her. Shes fun to talk to talk to super helpful and all around seems like such a joy. Molli is really good with telling you what looks good when you cant decided between the 8 glasses you like. Im extremely blind and I had to have my glasses special made so it didnt take an hour. Only have an hour lunch break, No Problem!!! I Woke up in the morning and found out my dog ate my glasses last night. They made room for me to see the optometrist(new tech, so cool) that day. He was so polite and explained everything to me and my husband. They take most insurances and the attached eye glass store was well stocked from name brands to the cheapos. There are many options for lenses to fit any budget. Even out of network was awesome. There’s always some type of special going on. And best of all it only took 20 minutes for my glasses to be ready for pick up. 2 pairs of glasses less than 50 bucks in less than 20 minutes. Wow!

Great place to get glasses. I was helped by Eren. She knocked customer service out of the park. I told her she had a customer for life. She made the experience memorable. I got a pair of glasses an a pair of polarized sunglasses for a $100 less than I got a pair glasses at the glass shop at my optometrists office.

Wallmart was only open from 9 to 2, so I went next door to eyemart Express. Not only were they open for full business hours, they got me a basic pair of glasses done within the hour (the fancy glasses I ordered would still take a week to arrive).They were very courteous and wore face masks. They prove that it is possible to be safe AND be open for business.The final kicker was that they charge about the same as wallmart, on top of superior service.

Everyone was very helpful, from helping select frames to final fitting. Getting them the sameday was such a help. Being able to see clearly againbest of all. If there would be one thing to change, I would have chosen darker sunglasses. I would definitely recommend to all my friends.

Very cordial staff. they helped me with a selection and allow me some customization as to the level of tint I selected. They had 2 sets of eye wear ready in under 2 hours. The optical quality was better than the place my original prescription and the staff better fitted the glasses better to my face to reduce slippage. You dont see in their commercials that locations can arrange eye exams. LOVE THIS PLACE !!!

We had one of the best experiences buying glasses at this location. The staff was amazing, especially the lovely gal who helped us. She was funny, upbeat and very social. Carmelita was fabulous! Definitely coming here for all of our future glasses purchases.

I’m visiting from out of town and just my luck, I bent my frames and thought they were done for. I called this place in the morning and spoke with Tenaya; she told me to stop by and see what they can do. I have no idea how she did it, but she managed to fix them! Very welcoming atmosphere and they are following covid guidelines for everyone’s safety. Thank you!

This place is amazing. Carmelita definitely helped me and made everything easy to understand. My first time getting glasses on my own and she made the experience a breeze. Everyone here is very nice and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of glasses

Dr. Turner is a great! He gave us just the right amount of information. Not to much, and not to little. I also loved how the glasses are much more affordable than the last office we went to.

I was devastated when I walked into Eyemart. I had lost my glasses the night before and needed them for work. Laura was my expert and boy did she know what she was doing.We took a moment to look at some frames this was around 10am. By 1pm I had not one but 2 pairs for for a really great price. Laura you are amazing and I will refer anyone to you. Thanks for your great customer service and helping me be able to see again....

The staff is very helpful and courteous. My particular prescription lens were not in stock creating a small one week delay in getting my glasses, not a big problem. Ok frame selection, this could be improved.

We had a very good interaction with this nice place. The staff was helpful and friendly, I felt that there was genuine interest in supporting our needs. Much to my surprise they where very quick at having the prescription faxed over and the creation of the glasses was fast, a few hours, but still reasonably fast for our expectations.

I didnt have vision insurance but the appointment and glasses where affordable. The employees where nice and helpful.

Even though I didnt have an appointment, the optometrist squeezed me in and the staff took care of me. Molli was amazing when choosing my frames. When I ran into a problem with my prescription, both teamed up and made the fix quick and relatively painless. I will definitely be going back.

Walked in without an appointment and was impressed that they took my Eyemed insurance and was able to be seen right away. The staff was friendly and efficient. Ryan was extremely helpful and I left with my new glasses. Will never switch back to a company that makes me wait 2 weeks to get my glasses.

Very professional service. The optometrist was very patient with my daughter who gets nervous at any doctor visit. The staff was not pushy and listened to my needs and wants. Definitely would go back again.

I have had lenses put in frames which I previously owned. Yesterday I had two pair made for me. Everyone is wonderful and helpful and the glasses are awesome quality. Laura, Phil and Molly were all awesome. 100% recommend!

Great experience, Phil was great. Price was better than expected! Also didnt expect to get my glasses done in a hour! The whole experience was worth driving from Cottonwood Heights!
