I received detailed care and had every question possible answered. Dr. Wilson was awesome and helped me figure out the best course of action regarding corrective lense options. Wonderful experience, will DEFINITELY refer family/friends to go here as well.

The good is the doctor is charismatic and friendly. It was a little more pricey than expected as I was hoping my insurance would cover more. Its actually cheaper for me to go to my eye doctor and request out of network reimbursement. This is not their fault though.I have deducted 3 stars because they did not comply with the FTCs Eye Glass Rule or Contact Lens Rule that states a prescription must be presented to the customer if the fitting is complete and they are willing to sell you lenses. I was not provided with a prescription and when I called they just went into sales. I told them since they could not beat Sams Club prices I would rather just get it there and asked for a prescription. It was never provided. I took the numbers from the box of trials and just clicked the option to have Sams Club call the doctor. If I get new glasses I will probably do the same as I dont want to deal with this place anymore. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and suggest people do the same if not given their prescription.

Incredible service. The staff and Dr. Wilson are the best around, hands down. I especially loved the gorgeous optical. Dr. Wilson sells neurolenses, which aid in reducing headaches. I sent my mom and grandma to Dr. Wilson and both absolutely loved their experience as well.

Exactly what one wants when looking for care. The receptionist was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She was able to answer all of my questions and helped a bunch. The doc is wonderful. He was patient, provided detailed information about eye care (made sure all of my questions were answered and I was comfortable), and is very charismatic. Which sounds simple, but we all know that’s actually really hard to find. I would 100% recommend. (Side note: I also have children who he worked fabulously with as well).

Fantastic service!The office was especially accommodating for my wife and I and scheduled us in for a Saturday to get fitted for new frames and lenses. Everybody was exceptionally great to work with (even assisting me in getting my HSA issue squared away).

It was my first time going this week and the staff was awesome. They were helpful and knew exactly what I needed. There is a new staff and doctor at this location. I recommend them and look forward to taking my kids there.

The calendar year is winding down, and we had vision insurance to use or lose. Jenna, the Office Manager, was very professional over the phone and in person and got us in before December ended. This is our first time attending this location. We learned the previous optometrist recently passed away and new optometrist, Dr. Kyle Wilson, had just purchased the practice. We are so VERY GLAD we chose this location for eye care. Dr. Wilson is extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions in easily understandable terms. His demeanor is very calm and relaxing. His eye care assistant, Amy, was amazing! She took her time with us as we ended up purchasing four pairs of glasses for our family. She explained all the options well and thoroughly and helped us pick out just the right frames. We highly recommend Optical Illusions for your eye care needs! CoJo

Since the acquisition, this place has gone down hill.

I just moved nearby and needed a new eye doctor. A family member recommended this place and had mentioned they were under new ownership since last year and they’re really earning their new clients... I didn’t expect to be impressed by an eye exam for new glasses but dang was I treated well! I felt like an old friend and now I’m upset that I spent the last 8 years at my last place ha. 10/10!

Dr. Thompson did an amazing job explaining everything to my wife and I during our exams. Very professional, and knowledgeable with a nice atmosphere in his office. Ive worn glasses since I turned 8 years old and have had dozens of exams, this was the first time in many years I actually learned something form speaking with the doctor. I highly recommend this doctor for your eye care needs. Thanks doc!

Been to Dr. Rees for about 15 years. He is great and his staff is wonderful. I recommend them to anyone!
