We had a wonderful experience at the Target Optical in Layton. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were very attentive and provided me with the best service I could of asked for.I highly recommend them if you are in need of glasses.

Had a great experience with both Hannah and Keller today. Both were incredibly pleasant and had excellent customer service skills. Further, they helped me ensure I got the best deal based on my insurance benefits and the current Target Optical promotions. To top it all off they were helpful in choosing frames that matched my face and head shape. 100% would recommend!

Target Optical in Layton is a very clean store with sales associates who are knowledgeable and helpful. They made me feel welcome. Alana was very helpful.

I hate this place and I am very mad. Spent $238 on glasses that dont even fit- that is WITH insurance. I had to get a prescription because I need to buy new ones when I just spent money here to get some. This place gave me a prescription that is completely ineligible for the place that I need to get my glasses from that they rejected it. They misspelled my name and it looks like a 3 year old wrote it up. Im so sad I cant get new glass and the ones are got from here are God awful. They are very rude over the phone and have no way to send electronically so I had my mom pick it up because I cant leave my home. Horrible all around.

Dr. Michael Larsen is an expert in his field! Not only is he friendly, and easy to talk to, but he was able to answer difficult questions with clarity. My prescription, (not an easy one) was dead on. The bifocal gradient was also perfect.The staff was wonderful to work with. I choose a pair of glasses that I thought I would like, however, after wearing them for a week, I did not like the way they sat on my nose. They exchanged them for another pair that I love. Absolutely no problems with the exchange. Wonderful place to go! Highly recommend!

I had the best customer service at this location! They were so patient and kind to my 6 year old who was very indecisive. I felt like they cared and they really made sure he was happy with them and excited about wearing glasses since he has struggled to keep his glasses on for any period of time in the past. They were also very knowledgeable about my insurance coverage and the best way to get the biggest bang for my buck. Happy momma right here!

I don’t live anywhere near Layton, in fact, I now live in Arizona but come back twice a year to visit family and I still schedule my kids and my own appointments at this optical. Some of the staff have been there since I first started going over 10 years ago! They know what they are doing and even fixed my daughters glasses that kept slipping down her nose, something a local place was unable to do. I know it sounds super silly to bother with eye exams while on vacation, but no one around where I live has ever come close to being as great.

I ordered new contacts the other day at this location. Their staff was very friendly and happy to help me determine the best combination of boxes for the price. The contacts arrived at my house in just 5 days. I am constantly recommending this Target Optical to all my friends and family.

I have been very frustrated with the phone service. When I call it takes a long time to get to the department I want to reach. Even though I am not Spanish, I have to listen to everything a second time in Spanish. I am sure Spanish speakers are equally frustrated. Is their a way to let the customer choose the language option at the beginning? Our time is important also.

I cant say enough about Alana and her staff! They are absolutely amazing! Not only did Alana take the time to help my son pick out the lenses that fit his face, style, and needs she helped me figure out our vision insurance so there was no hassle for me! Yay!!! The store was clean and organized and everyone was so friendly. My son tried on at least a dozen pairs and she was honest about what looked good on him and helped him decide what style was most comfortable! He LOVES his glasses!!! Weve been to other places to purchase glasses and after our visit here we will go out of our way to come back to the Layton Target Optical! Thank you Alana for making our experience so great! We will definitely be back!!!

Was trying to find an open eye appointment somewhere and we were having tons of trouble, until the Target in Laytons optical center had an opening, they were super awesome with us and helped us out with everything I needed and also answered all of my questions. I cant remember the girl who helped us but she had short hair and she was super awesome. Definitely going to go back when I need a next appointment/new glasses/etc.

Hands down the best optical team out there!!! Customer service is always top notch and all of the associates are incredible knowledgeable! Dr. Larsen is fantastic and explains everything very clearly and thoroughly. I wouldnt go anywhere else and I would highly recommend this crew to anyone. In fact, I did just that and the family of four was blown away by how attentive the associates were and how professional and personable Dr. Larsen was. Theyre going to be life-long clients now, too. You wont find a better group of people anywhere else. This is the place to be to find exactly what you need and to receive top tier service!!!!

Awesome service, great selection for kiddos. Our 5 year old needed glasses and he was very nervous about wearing them. The ladies at target made him feel comfortable and he had fun trying on different frames. Ended up going with two pairs of Ray Bans. The price was on par/little better than other eye wear stores ... but what sold us was the protection plan. $35 per set covers all damage, scratches, Etc. It’s a $25 fee per replacement. With a kid, this is essential!

Great and friendly service, we had our whole family come in at the same time. They were accommodating and fun to talk to. They researched more about what our insurance coverage included without asking. We will return!

I have been getting all of my vision needs from this location for many years. Alana always helps me with anything that I could possibly need. She is friendly, courteous an very professional. If I ever have an emergency she jumps to help me with anything that can get me by until things can get fixed. I wouldnt ever want to change providers unless she was no longer there. Target Optical is fantastic, but when you get exceptional service, as provided by Alana, it makes the overall experience much more pleasant! Thank you Alana and Target optical for continuing to service me and all of my vision needs.

Really wishing that I could leave a 0 Star review. The office visit was beyond awkward, with absolutely no people skills present beyond the front desk. To make matters worse, they sent me out the door with the wrong prescription. I highly recommend not trusting your sight to this office, and am disappointed in the lack of customer service skills presented.

This is the Moms review ☺. My son, Cayden, and I have been getting glasses/ contacts at this location for at least 8 years! The staff is so responsive, helpful, and friendly. The have bent over backwards helping make sure we are happy with our eyewear and that get the best and most efficient deals possible ( they consistently have great sales too!). Love Layton Target Optical!

If there was a possibility for no stars, I would give it!!! I ordered my glasses online and paid 10 dollars for expedited 2 day shipping. (Tried to use my target card online and it wouldn’t accept it. So I missed out on 5% off.) Then a few days later went to the store and was told there is no way they could get them to me in 2 days. So I was given a number to call for customer service. I left on vacation that day and decided not to call until after I got home bc maybe the glasses would be to my house by then and I wouldnt have to complain or deal with it. When we got home over a week later and almost two weeks after I originally placed, my glasses were still not there and I had not been informed why, by email or phone call, etc... so I called customer service. The first rep I talked to was nice and said she would refund my shipping and email me as soon as she found out why my glasses werent even shipped yet. I hung up. I NEVER HEARD FROM HER! A few days later I called again and talked to someone else who told me my lenses were done but my frames were waiting to be sent to the site to fit to the lenses. She would inform me when she knew more. So I refused to hang up until I had an email in my inbox with her name and email so I wouldnt have to call again. A few days later, no response. So I emailed her and a few hours later got an email back saying the frames were out of stock and they would happily input different frames and pay for expedited shipping. Uh no thanks! I havent called to cancel the entire order yet so I will update how that goes. I was on my last pair of contacts and my eye have been super sensitive lately and I needed glasses as soon as possible. 3 weeks later the glasses havent even shipped. So save yourself the frustration and dont order from TargetOptical.

Target optical in Layton has the worst employees. They are very unhelpful and rude. Definitely recommend going to Riverdale even if its a further drive because their service is A LOT better.

Had eye appts for me and son. Had text reminders and a text from them clearly stating appointment date and time. Appts were made during last exam there. All set....right? Walked in for scheduled appt on time, give name, and they state I dont have an appt.....what I had are pre-appointments. They cancelled out appts without notice. Said I have to call in to verify. I said no, I have an appointment, I dont make pre-appointments anywhere. They say Nope, you had pre-appointments but we may be able to fit you in later. This on an Sat morning, so I can waste my day waiting to be fit in. Nope. Absolutely horrrendous communication and customer service. STAY AWAY. If they had said we dont care directly it wouldnt have been clearer than the attitude on display. Pathetic. Find a place that actually wants your business and doesnt put up lame BS like we received.
