Got a pair of glasses here a while back. Glasses are good. But I dont live in the area anymore. I needed my wifes prescription emailed to me but apparently they still live in the 90s? They can only fax that information to us. I dont have access to a fax machine anywhere anymore. its 2021. il just take my business elsewhere.

My husband and I have gone to this location for years. We are always impressed by how knowledgeable and friendly the staff are, especially Monica. The store was missing an employee tonight and she hustled helping multiple people jumping from speaking English to Spanish and was so kind and patient with everyone. She helped both my husband and me and stayed late to helping us. Wish more people were as great at customer service as her!!

Awful. The only good thing was the doc that just retired. Systems are outdated and takes too much time to do anything that requires it, like checking in and purchasing. My address nor the amount of contacts was verified, so mine and my sons contacts were sent to the wrong address, I was able to retrieve mine by paying $5 for UPS to change the delivery, for whatever reason I didnt get notified for my sons and it was lost. It took 3 phone calls to get just that straight. Once it was realized they didnt order the correct amount I was told they would be shipped to me, after verifying address, they werent, I was called and asked to pick them up. When I got there they still didnt have the full order. Allegedly this one box will be shipped to me but Im not holding my breath. The girls that work there are pleasant but serious issues with appropriate start to finish customer service. Will absolutely not be returning.

I had an appointment today and no one ever showed up. I am blown away at the lack of professionalism. I was sent a second confirmation for my appointment time/date this morning, to which I responded AGAIN that I would be coming to my appointment. No one ever called to reschedule with me or to let me know that my appointment was cancelled, nothing. I waited for 20 minutes in front of the store until I finally decided to leave. I definitely will not be rescheduling. I have never experienced this degree of flakiness from a medical office before. Super disappointed.

Dr. Cutler and his wonderful staff went above and beyond to make sure that my mom and I were taken care of. They took there time to make sure that everything was done professionally and safe. Thank you!!! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I requested an emailed receipt to make a warranty claim for some glasses that I purchased through Vision-works. Vision-works would not email the receipt to me, but told me they could fax it to me. Who has fax? Who doesnt have email?The person on the phone was not helpful at all.

I asked to get rid of the yellow tint in my glasses because it was distorting my view of colors, but after two pairs and 10-15 days each time its still there. I dont want to keep coming back just to fix one thing.

This company has the worst service of any company Ive ever dealt with. The first time I went in I was given the wrong prescription. The second time I went in I was told that previous doctor who helped me (2 weeks ago) no longer worked there.While doing the adjustment the new doctor proceeds to tell me how he had no idea what the other doctor was thinking because my prescription was way off. After a few minutes, I started to feel like the vision in my left eye was getting worse. When I mentioned this to the doctor, he said Nobody can have perfect vision and sent me on my way. Obviously, the prescription was wrong again.After 3 weeks without a call, mutliple calls to managers and the front desk, I finally got my glasses back 2 months later. Due to pure frustration, I did not go back within the 60 day return period of picking up my glasses so they are now refusing to replace my lenses. Save your money and go somewhere else.Update: The owner responded to my review stating They are very happy to hear this.. This clearly shows the owners lack of attention to detail and how much they are paying attention to making his/her business better.

I had the privilege of being helped by a smart young woman named Bianca. I could tell she was an expert at what she does. She helped me find the perfect frames. She communicated everything so clearly and knew the answer to every one of my questions.Do yourself a favor and skip over their competitors. Visionworks is the best!

I love this place! I recently went in for an exam and to pick out new glasses. Normally I hate picking out glasses because I can never find the “right” pair that fits my face. Tonya took the time to help me try on glasses giving me her honest opinion and tips on what would look good for my face shape! I love my new look! Quick and easy. I came in for an eye exam, and dr.cutler is amazing at his job. Then I had a gal name Clarissa help me. She did a good job at helping me choose out a pair of glasses, and explaining the type of materials. Definitely will recommend this place for anyone who needs contacts & glasses!

I have been coming here to see Dr. Cutler for some time. He is very knowledgable and nice. A few of the front desk people are not worth the trip though. I had this experience at another of their locations. Its too bad a company lets its front desk staff treat customers that way. I choose to go elsewhere where customer service is important to the company and patient retention mattes.

I love this place! I used to go to another optical but now that I found this store I will bring my whole family. They had the best prices around and so many frames! Tonya helped me and she was super sweet and very knowledgeable. Thanks!

Stay away beware!! I bought safety glasses and when I arrived to get them the nose pieces were not fully in the frame, they were faulty. Some blonde girl that works there got her hands on my glasses and stretched them out so much they were completely ruined, tried to make some excuse that they were designed this way and designed to be loose and used with a strap. I asked her to just return the product and get it done right she kept coming up with more lies as to why they were completely bent out of shape till I asked for a refund. The blonde who works there at 5pm 03/17/2020 ruined my glasses and took zero accountability. You have lost my business and my wife’s business. I would have been fine with an exchange but you wanted to lie to my face and play me for a fool! Update her name is tanya she is rude a liar and will not take accountability for ruining my glasses

Great staff. Eye exam Dec 2014 went a little slow as we encountered equipment we had never used before but the staff was EXTREMELY patient with us. Six months later, we are making weekly trips in to get my husbands glasses adjusted because he falls asleep with them on. I appreciate how they always greet us cheerfully.

The staff at Visionworks in the Layton Mall are awesome! Always friendly, responsive and go out of their way to ensure you are satisfied. Great selection of glasses as well.

Told me I would have my glasses in 2 weeks. Called them 3 days early just to see if they came in early (which was has happened with everywhere else I have gone). They told no they will be here on the the original date I asked. Go in on the day they where supposed to be in not there told in 10 more days. Guy at the store told me he would call me when he was done with his current customer and here I am no phone call no glasses.

The doctor is extremely nice and knowledgable. They did me the most comprehensive eye exams I have ever received in no more than one hour and get me a pair of good glasses after another one hour. After that they give me a huge discount on the costs. They charge me a little more than 300 for all the exams and glasses while previously I was charged more than 400 for just a very similar pair of glasses with a prescription!

The best customer service ever! I wanted to make sure that Tonya (I forgot the name, but shes the general manager) is appreciated. I had my new pair eyeglasses a few weeks ago, and unfortunately, I dropped it and it had scratches! I was devastated, thinking that Ill live with it. I went to the store the next day, and Tonya provided a replacement of my eyeglasses and the frames for free! What a relief! Great customer service and warranty!

The doctor here is so wonderful!! I saw him two years ago and had a great experience but decided to try a place 5 mins from my house (this place is 30 mins away from me) I will NEVER do that again! This place is WAY better this doctor is so kind an knowledgeable. The other doctor I saw got my prescription wrong, Im so grateful I trusted my self enough to get the second opinion. I see MUCH more clearly with the new prescription. As long as I live here I will never go anywhere else!

Tonya helped me with getting new sunglasses. Just by looking at me she could tell me what would work with my face and not make me look weird. She was friendly and professional. I will send everyone I know in to see Tonya.

I was happy the first 2 times I went there and the Drs are great but the staff adjusts the price based on their daily need I think. Everytime Im there with insurance its a different quoted price for the same services. I will not be back.

I would not recommend going here. The staff is really friendly, but i have had nothing but problems. I first went there a year a go. Ehen i arrived, they did not have me scheduled. The regular doctor was out of the iffuce due to health problems and they canceled all of his appts without calling to let me know. They squeezed me in with the dr that was filling in for him. The dr seemed to know what he was doing but my new contact prescription was totally wrong. I told him they were blurry but he said it was because the new lenses were for astigmatism and I had to get use to them. The regular dr came back, re-exammed me and gave me the right prescription. After getting the right prescription, i had them order me a years worth of contacts. When my order came in it was wrong. Now it is a year later and again i am gaving nothing but problems. The website is dysfunctional but its cheaper than going through the store (which doesnt make sense) and the discount card i was talked into buying only applied to my first purchse. Its called a a contact lense program and it gave me $5 off my first purchse.

Optometrist was very nice and knowledgeable, and store staff was friendly. However, do not expect quality work on eyeglasses or leaving with any interest in a second visit.My prescription had changed slightly, so I planned to forego getting new glasses. However, Vision Works upsold me on getting new lenses for my frames. I agreed and dropped off my glasses. They promptly called me when they were ready and I tried them on, they put them in the case for me and I took them home.The next day, I notice my frames no longer fold or unfold properly. I bring them in and they told me they had broken, and there was nothing they could do. I would have tobuy new frames and they would recut me new lenses. Since I needed working glasses, I reluctantly agreed. I have now spent almost $200 [out of pocket]. Then I asked where my old lenses were. They told me that since I didnt request them at time of pickup [they never asked] they disposed of them that day. I asked about the new lenses they had cut for my old frames, which were just sitting there, (likely to be disposed of). They told me that I could absolutely have those... ...for an extra $60. So I walked out.I now have new lenses I never actually needed, new [cheaper] frames, $200 less, and zero intent to ever return. Thanks, Vision Works!

Terriable. Absolutely terrible. Walked into vision works to get my glasses loosened. The lady starts to work on my glasses. I asked how long she has been working with glasses and she says 3 months, handling them like a caveman, then she gets her finger prints and dirt all over. Then breaks my lens. $700 ray bans prescriptions. Brand new. The only thing she could say was. We aren’t liable for them because we don’t sale those here yet. So I’m left with a broken pair of glasses. Also they had no manager in the building or even around to ask questions. They had no idea what to do. Or what was going on. Just ridiculous.

The staff is kind and helpful.
