Authentic food. This is the real deal. Being from Texas where they have large grocery stores dedicated to the Hispanic culture and cooking, this store and restaurant is a true diamond in East Tennessee for anyone who cooks and enjoys this style of culinary eats. The portions were very plentiful for the price and you never be upset about handmand tortillas. Plus they provide you three different salsas, chopped onion, and cilantro. Everyone is friendly, Very nice store, and excellent customer service.

It was a nice clean store. Very nice and polite the staff. This place is more of a latin grocery store. It seemed like they sold cooked food but didnt see any signs.

Place has a lot of Mexican food variety, Saturdays they have carnitas which are delicious. The employees are not too friendly.

The food was ok. The service was not great. Super sweet and helpful people, just not very attentive. Its definitely more authentic Mexican so if thats what you want then Id recommend it. One thing I did not like at all were the chips. I loved the fruit drink they make but I cant remember the name of it. The restaurant is part of the store, FYI. That didnt bother us but it was a surprise.

Food is actually very good/authentic but this place is dirty. Part of challenges could be its a store, next door is laundromat, so lots of folks are in/out moving around using facilities etc and it is simply too small for all the action.Sorry, but my observation on a Sunday afternoon after 3 p.m.

Good service, awesome food. I believe the food is cooked after you order it, so you may have to wait for it, unless you call ahead, But it is well worth the wait time. I normally do not do foods that are spicy but I will eat the food served here and I enjoy it too.

Shedding my wife to go get me some food at their restaurants they tell me over the phone they have salads they tell her they dont have salads then I asked for steak and they dont have steaks and Im telling you will get the ribs and now they dont have ribs they have the steaks this restaurant needs to be checked and checked real good cuz they dont care what they serve you all who they serve

New to the area I was super excited to hear about a locally owned market. Its tiny but has everything you need. The gal at the counter was very sweet too.

None of the worker were wearing masks. I wasnt comfortable. No hand sanitizer on tables or anywhere else I could see. They charged me for water without telling me they didnt provide tap water. Food was acceptable fair.

I like la Lupita. They have good Mexican food. The real stuff not Taco Bell type food. They have a giant steak taco called the huarache, it runs about $10 or so but its a meal in itself.Ive never shopped there for grocery items but they do have things that you wont get at a American store.

Great selection of fresh vegetables and meat cuts you cant find other places. They are very helpful to answer questions when Im making new dishes and need help. The store carries all the ingredients you will need to make any authentic Mexican dish. Prices are a little high but they do have a corner on the market on some things.

Has authentic food and snacks present. However, no staff wears a mask, and seem to not follow cdc guidelines at all.

Great tasting authentic Mexican food! Reasonably priced and large portions... I love the Tamales.... Im not sure they are on the daily menu, but I was able to put an order the day before and pick them up the next afternoon. Absolutely delicious!

I absolutely love this place! My friend introduced me to the Maryville location 9 years ago, and is my absolute favorite place to eat Mexican food! In the grocery side I buy meat and produce and occasionally some snacks. The staff is always very helpful and friendly! Such a great place to have close by!

The food was good but the service was really bad. I went with my wife and my food toke too long to come out, and after five minutes My wife’s food was coming out. It was really uncomfortable to eat my food while she was waiting for that long. They should get more servers.

Its hard for me to review this place objectively, we came as a family after my grandfathers funeral and the friendly staff and casual setting was exactly what we needed to escape our lives for awhile, we all came together over some seriously good food and were closer for it.La Lupitas is a cantina style restaurant and tienda in downtown Lenoir City, if youve never had authentic Mexican food it is miles from the restaurant faire and youre in for a treat, especially if your first experience is here. I highly recommend the lengua tacos, theyre tender and delicious!

I met the owners of this place when I was in highschool because I ended up being friends with their son and they are really nice and seem to be really down to earth. Even if you dont speak Spanish, dont feel like you cant go and eat or shop at this place. I promise there will be somebody there that can speak English and they provide a comfortable atmosphere. Great food and great service.

Love this place & wish I lived closer. The tacos de lingua were soooo good from the restaurant (reminded me Of The SoCal boarder) the butcher was helpful, the tamales we had ordered in advance were delicious, store was very clean and staff helpful and nice.

They have some of the best steak tacos and steak burritos!

Their pastries are great. However, I had their special last Sunday. The rice wasnt traditional Spanish Rice. They served white beans instead of refried beans. I asked them to not put thr cactus on my plate and they still put it there. The shrimp and the onions were great. The steak and rib pieces were very tough. Instead of sliced avacado they just cut one in half.

If I have eaten better Mexican food, I dont know where it was. Tacos Al Pastor were perfectly seasoned, Huevos Rancheros had perfectly cooked eggs and the sauce was amazing. The guac was fresh and chunky made from wonderful avocados.Definitely recommend

Dont expect fast dining services for a meal that is made with care and compassion. Everything is cooked fresh and per order which takes time, so have patience and this dining experience will quickly become a favorite thats worth any wait.Please note, if you want something other than water to drink, they will direct you to the coolers of bottled beverages along the wall. Unless otherwise posted feel free to sit yourself and grab your preferred beverage before you pick a table. I suggest walking around and checking out what they have to offer, along with the wide variety of beverage choices, while waiting for your food. It creates a very unique experience in of itself and only adds to the dining experience.Being an AUTHENTIC Mexican restaurant the servers and staff are likely to be of a Spanish heritage and/or fluent in the language. It includes flank steak, shrimp, pablano pepper, tortilla wraps, a cheese (want to say goat but uncertain and dont want to give misinformation, this exact information is located on the menu) rice, beans, and all the other toppings you could normally expect to find in a Mexican dish, but the dish still includes SO MUCH MORE! Essentially this dish includes a portion of all major proteins found on other dishes in the menu and all minor garnishes used to perfect those dishes.The Hispanic culture is a beautiful one with beautiful people and even better food, this place embodies all of those qualities. You will get to enjoy seeing the deep respected ties found within family, a taste and look into what foods are offered, and first hand experience into the hard work and love put into growing a local business. Really good food. I go out of my way to stop here any time Im close by. I get pretty much the same thing every time, a torta de al pastor. The tacos are good too. My wife really liked the torta with carnitas. The kids like looking through the grocery store while they wait for food and seeing all the foods they are unfamiliar with.
