Amazing! Was skeptical at first, but the pumpkin pop was like having an iced pumpkin pie on a stick! Delicious! 🎃

I enjoyed this place and the peanut butter popsicle was pretty tasty. However, I wanted to like it more, especially with the price. The idea is great and service is fast and friendly. They also give you a little freezer bag to take popsicles home. Worth stopping by.

Customer service was EXCELLENTE! My wife got the chocolate brownie and about a quarter way thru it the chocolate became too much for her. The little girl behind the counter heard my wide talking about it and immediately asked her if she wanted another one... 100% guarantee! Went there today with 3 children 7,7,&4. We’ve only been to bardstown location so we’re excited this one was close to home. We were the 4th in line. No one was working. There was a sign that said “yes we’re open be back in 5 minutes”. 15 minutes later no one was there taking orders. The line is now 25 or so deep. We left and went to Graeter’s. The Quills coffee shop was hopping and appeared to be well staffed. This location sort of appears geared to adults anyway. The flavors are mostly pretty adult “lavender limonade”. There were no other kids there. Won’t be back for popsicles with the kids but will be back for coffee as the space is cool.

This is the local walk to place for pops, especially during a Trinity football game. If you’re eating or dining in St Matthews you may want to skip dessert, walk over and enjoy a local pop. Plenty of choices, flavors, dips or coatings. You won’t be disappointed.Family Friendly. Plenty of parking in the area (look across the street of the adjacent lot is full.

This is a small shop. Went on sunday arou d 2p and they were out of almost all flavors. We didnt get popsciles that day. Ive heard great things. Will check back

Oh my gosh, brought visiting daughter for dessert to Steel City. Lovely location, in St. Matthews features a partnership of Quills and Steel City. The building is open and welcoming; great seating is shared by both. Now let me tell you I had the best coconut bar I have ever eaten, my husband said the peach and my daughter said the peanut butter were just as good. This is a new must for our family!

My family loves this place! Now that they are combined with Quills, I may never visit another place! The staff is always extremely helpful and friendly. They always return the popsicle if you dont like the flavor you picked. They will let you do that until you find one that you like. This helps especially when you have young children. And you can feel free to experiment and try new flavors. Although most the time they are always delicious!

The Steel City pops chain is a great, unique treat that helps soothe the summer time heat or just hits a sweet tooth need. They have a ton of great, water based treats that are refreshing. The milk based ones are equally as good, but a bit heavier and more dessert like. The spot cant be beat, especially when combined with Quills.

The ice cream there was kind of chewy, and very pricey for something I didn’t really enjoy. I felt like I was chewing paper instead of ice cream.

Not just delicious ice pops but a large open space with indoor and outdoor elements. Sit at a table or booth to enjoy your coffee or step outside and enjoy a Strawberry Lemonade ice pop as you watch the sunset.

Wonderful popsicles! I especially appreciate that they have gluten free and dairy free options (and I dont mean only fruit pops). My kid who has gluten issues was so excited to get her favorite, cookies and cream gluten free. They have creative and delicious options. Its worth the money. Only complaint was no enough shade in the outdoor seating.

Definitely eat here!! The pops are so delicious 😋 I definitely recommend the banana, surprisingly out of this world!! My new go to for dessert.

Has amazing and eccentric popsicles. Price is kind of steep. Hires people with physical disabilities (saw a woman with only one arm work there). Has a modern look and used to be a fire station so has a cool garage door.

Steel City Pops on the best places to get a nice treat. Combine that with a well-known local coffee shop and it makes an amazing combination. I go for the Popsicles. The building is unique as are the Popsicles and coffee.

Love the new location! A shared space with Quills Coffee provides lots of space to dive into a book or have a group together for a business meeting.

I think the pops are tasty but I cant seem to justify paying $4 for one 🤷🏻‍♀️

The ability to customize your pop is fantastic. There are so many options that you can create any taste you would like.

This place is honestly great! Every popsicle is an awesome tasty treat. I really appreciate the special of the month. They are so transparent about their ingredients. They even have a Paleo selection which is just amazing and unheard of anywhere else. Dont skip this place it is always worth a visit!

No offense but I feel like place is just a fad and its just over priced popsicles. However Ive only ever had the peach or strawberry lemonade flavors. And honestly Id rather get a whole box of Eddies fruit bars for the same price. However the other fancy dipped flavors may be worth the expensive price to some. But at that point Id rather get a scoop of ice cream for less cost. Customer service was excellent and atmosphere is great at this location

My husband and I have a tradition now, that everyone we pass through Louisville we stop at Steel City! We absolutely love this place! The popsicle are wonderful and so worth the trip. Their Arnold Palmer is my favorite, but sadly they dont carry it anymore 😥 However, the Mango is a great sometimes while the Arnold is away. My husband loves the buttercream! If you dont like the popsicle you choose, they will swap it out for another one! Steel City needs to be in Nashville too!!

Not a huge fan, honestly. Gourmet popsicles are just “ehh.” The tables weren’t the cleanest, either. But they do have plenty of options and lots of space, which is always a plus.

By far my favorite place to chill they have a great coffee shop as well and I love how all of the flavors of the Popsicles are organic including the sugar whats not to love about this place, I also love the modern but cozy / summery scenery

Bought a banana split popcicle here and it tasted rotten. I told staff and they told me it just tastes like that, you can buy another one. As expected, I didnt buy another one and never will. The product was of terrible quality and the staff refused to handle this.
