My dad used to shop here years ago when I was a kid and I never really thought twice about it. I have recently started shopping here in the past couple months and recommend anyone to come here. The shelf’s are typically stocked. The employees are nice and helpful. Only issue I’ve had with Meijer is the meat. I get my meat elsewhere but overall it’s great.

Found items I could not find anywhere else there. I was very pleased. I will be shopping there more often tho it is a bit further away from me.

This was one experience I am so happy to share with you all.I am so happy with how the store was set up, this was such a clean store. Everything was organized. It was beautiful, I do not mind the 20 minute drive to this store because you’ll find everything you need!

I hate todays world. I wish I would have died 10 years ago. Remember when things were 24 hours? Remember when customer service was real? Its because of these corporations that our freedom isnt anymore. They make the rules. We follow. Plain and simple. Stop shopping here. Go back to buying milk from the milk guy, and eggs from the egg lady. Shoes from the shoe guy, and bread from the baker. These corporations are doing nothing but tearing you and I, apart. And they love it. Knowing I dont talk to you and you dont talk to me. Thats ensures their business is thriving. With the pandemic. Theres no way you and I will get along. Too many obstacles in our way. Im just saying.

My husband and I started coming here when they first opened 20 some odd years ago. Im still coming to the pharmacy there even though its 12 miles from where I live, so far so good and its nice for people to know your name. Even if I am alone now.

Clean and friendly atmosphere. employees are polite with positive attitude and willing to help. probably the best myjers I have been to.

I have always enjoyed shopping here and this location was the first Meijer I shopped at when I was a kid. Always very clean and the associates are friendly here. Similar layout to other Meijer so it should be very familiar. I enjoy shopping here and will continue to do so anytime Im in the area! Also, there are lots of things nearby, such as Culvers. Do a little shopping and top it off with my favourite burger in town and that is a win!

I appreciate the wide variety of groceries I can buy here at good prices, and the staff has always been helpful and friendly.BUT, checkout is always a nightmare. On average two, perhaps three of the stores endless array of checklanes is actually open, and everybody in line is buying enough food and gear to feed a clothe a company of Marines for months, meaning you can easily spend a half hour in line.That leaves the self-checkout lanes, whose machines are so cantankerous and error-prone that I usually cant get through six items before they throw a fit and I have to wait for the poor overworked attendant to come over and clear it.Meijer does so well on so many of the hard things, I just dont understand why they fail so utterly at checkout, which should be simple.Bottom line, I still recommend the place, but plan to be here a while. Only worth it for big stock up runs.

I gave 4 stars for 2 reasons...1) 5 stars would indicate there is no room for improvement and 2) because I have only been in this store a couple of times looking for just a few objects.I can say my visits have been very rewarding. I have found what I was needing at reasonable prices. I went to this store to find things I had not been able to find in Kroger or Walmart. As I spend more time there I may change my 4 star rating to 5.

I found a dead beta fish that had been dead for what looked like days. I told their self checkout employee and she literally laughed in my face then ignored me to go back on her phone.I contacted Meijer and they did absolutely nothing. I returned to the store and same employee is working self checkout while looking at her phone instead of helping customers. I wont be going back.I understand fish die in that type of environment, I was just trying to report and help their store. They dont care about any care of their fish or customers. I challenge you to go to this store and find a self checkout employee not on their phone while customers wait.

Been to this grocery store several times, and as far as grocery stores go, this one runs a bit above average. The selection is great, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Weve pretty much always been able to find what we needed.

I always find what I am looking for. I get a lot of fresh produce and their selection is always great. They have a lot of different options and its always very fresh. Definitely a one stop shop for us.

I love that every Meijer is set up similar. I always know the layout. And they always have what I need. The employees are often nicer than usual grocery store employees which is very refreshing.

I find Meijer has a clean, organized store every time I shop there & I appreciate clean, organized. Shelves were slightly empty, didnt find all I was looking for but certain they will fill shelves when supplies are available.

Im so tired of their shelves not being stocked and the bad produce. And please get rid of unfriendly, frumpy employees! I cant wait until Publix comes to Louisville.

Its not really convenient for every day shopping but Meijer does offer excellent prices on certain OTC supplements which my wife and use daily.

INSTACART Shop and Delivery in a Full Time Shopper Role. This particular visit was a desired pick and deliver. The Hurstbourne Meijer is usually always clean, organized, and well stocked and staffed. Items were easily found and ample stock was on the shelves. Check out was quick. I was on my way minutes ahead of the Shopper apps 50 meter dash countdown timer blinking its angry, red colored, wrist tapping, cmon hurry it up attitude of disappointment, then my attitude of I take my time for my customer to get what they pay for and you arent my H.S. basketball coach, English teacher, my parents or ex-wife (alright.... ex-wiveS) disposition.... I always choose Meijer batches. I enjoy visiting all the Meijer stores in The Ville. 5 STARS

I shop at this location quite frequently, as it is in close proximity to my home. I must say that this store has the least friendly employees of any other business around, except for Wal-Mart, which is the worst. No one greets you, everyone always wears the most unpleasant dour expression upon their faces. Speak to any employee and they just stare at you. Regarding the store, I am most disappointed that nothing is ever in stock, many shelves are empty. I then have to make a trip to Kroger, which is despise, and see that their shelves are always fully stocked.

Much more variety than Krogers or Walmart.

I love the pharmacy sometimes I go and get my medication and it doesnt cost me anything which is a blessing when youre short on money but I love the meijers store all the way around its just a great place

Being pent up in the house probably has people a little crazy. It was nice to get out and shop for odds and ends. Not really needing anything, but a place to go was refreshing.

You can get a gallon on milk, some flowers, clothes, an just about anything else you may need.. Also the isles are about 3 times the width of Kroger ..Lastly, its not the other blue store that checks your receipt when you leave like your a theif....

Fav neighborhood grocery shopping and retail (Hurstborne) Wonderful selection of fresh produce/greens. Always some on sale! Buy all products for my car especially stocked for this past Winter ugh! Good choices in woman clothing, again something always on sale 😊 Large choices of seasoning and smoked meats for seasoning. For meatless eaters, good! Check It Out!

To update my review the store seem to frequently be out of stock on many grocery items. I have uploaded a few images. I have asked them many times to please keep things in stock, but it is unsurprising that things have not gotten any better.Home of rude customer service. On multiple occasions I have experiences poor customer service on the self checkout lanes. Tonight when I informed the employee that I had been over charged she told me that it was my fault.

I like the variety in the store. There are some items that are hard to find at other stores.

Not always the cleanest or well organized/stocked but still the best place to grocery shop in my opinion - simply because of the sales. Try to go on a day it wont be super busy. The 10 for 10 sale is the best deal around.

Great store, some prices are high but their sale prices are good. They are more than just a regular grocery store. More like a Target.

I like the store they do have decent prices. The gentleman I forget his name that works the self-checkout and mans that. He is one of the rudest customer service reps I have ever seen in my life. I work at Walmart and I would be fired on the spot if I even considered treating a customer in the manner he treats his customers. My aunt and myself were in their shopping and ask him one simple question and he acted like it was a chore to help us again extremely RUDE

In and out quickly. Found everything I was looking for. Cashier was friendly and speedy. There were a lot of people shopping but everyone was being considerate, wearing masks and social distancing. Pleasant experience for trying tines.

Large selection of groceries, home goods, health and beauty. They still struggle to keep inventory and have more empty shelves than I prefer.

Was searching for a gift for my dad, and no other store had it or would help us try to find it when it was “in stock” online. Went to Meijer’s because they had it in stock online, and only found one thing we were looking for. We asked Glenn in electronics for help, and he went above and beyond to help us find what we wanted. We are super appreciative of his work and his effort to help us get what we were looking for!

Rude people working there.One checker self checking backed up with at least 15 people at each checking out point Very frustrating a lot of people were very disappointed. Some pushing their cartsA side and leaving them saying that it wasnt worth the effort.

Love Meijer and the fact that they stay open later than others. They usually have items stocked and will look in the back for you if something missing.

Very nice deli department and very helpful deli staff. The store was clean as was the parking lot. We were able to find the few things that we were there for except there were no canned lima beans. My husband had picked up the wrong drink for me by mistake and the cashier had the young man who had been bagging our things to stop and go get the right drink for me. They both did this so kindly with smiles and words of Happy Thanksgiving as our payment was finished. What these two very kind people didnt know was that the drink was important because my sugar was low and i had started to shake so i needed to get some sugar in me quickly. Thanks to the staff i was able to enjoy the rest of my evening. Happy Thanksgiving.

I have been shopping at this store for 3 years and it keeps getting worse and worse. Stocking supplies left in aisles with no one stocking. Never more than 2 registers open at a time and lines that back up deep into the apparel section. It takes longer to check out than shop. Im sorry to say this will no longer be my go store.

I dont have very many complaints about this Meijer. It is always well stocked and pretty clean, the staff is overall pretty good all that being said especially weekends and afternoon be prepared to wait in checkout lines.

Found some good deals on Adidas sneakers for my 12 year old. I was disappointed with the quality of the produce. My Starbucks kcups were $2 more than Kroger!!!

I recently just moved in the Jtown area and only shop at meijer majority of the time coming from Valley Station which by the way in my opinion is the best location in the city but anyways this Jtown area night shift crew is the worst by far, they not helpful, they are rude, and i didnt see not one basket by the door(rhey was in the produce/bakery department) nor could i tell you if they was wiped down. I simple take a risk and grab one again not a employee in sight besides the one at the SELF CHECKOUT which didnt want to bother shes at her station buttttt i get to the electronics department and again no printer in sight or employee and AGAIN I KEEP MOVING to the food grabbed three boxes of cereal and two trays of breakfast trays and go to the checkout, SELF CHECKOUT AND IVE NEVER FELT SO UNCOMFORTABLE IN MY LIFE AND BY MY OWN KIND AT THAT!!! I was being watched sooooo hard to the point as i turned to the left at the worker, her and I BELIEVE TWO OTHER EMPLOYEES WHO ARE SITTING, LOUNGING IN THE MOBILE CARTS ALL LOOKING AND LAUGHING NOW I BELIEVED I LOOKED APPROPRIATE, WELL DRESSED NOTHING ON MY FACE BUT MY MASK SO IM NOT SURE WHAT WAS FUNNY, but AGAIN I KEPT SCANNING!!! Towards the end, i turn and look again and now the SELF CHECKOUT LADY IS STILL STARING A HOLE AT ME!!! Well now im really uncomfortable!!! As i grabbed my belongings she walks towards me but stops, i asked her why did she do all of that and she states thats what she do!!! Nowwwww as a 30yr old, BLACK WOMAN im confused as to why im being watch when clearly other people are at self scans not being bothered or laughed at smh which really hurt my feelings!!! I get tired of the stereotype of people who judge the people even from my own people!!! At a time like this, why do me simply want to do shopping automatically make me a target of stealing and i had $800 in cash and my debit card, i feel this location needs work just keep on how to treat their customers, its 11:30pm and at 10:50pm while shopping, we was being told to bring our items to the front because they close in a hour!!!!
