The shuttle service is a great option!For someone that is not good with cars I would like to have the “to-do” list of routine/scheduled things to fix and how much it will cost. This is my second time getting my car serviced at Mankato Nissan. Both times I have received exceptional service and the work was done in a timely manner.

I was first impressed by the professionalism of salesperson Gabriel. I had been to several other dealerships looking at new vehicles, and was annoyingly ignored. When I went to Mankato Nissan, I had been looking at a vehicle in the lot for only a minute or two, when Gabriel was driving out of the lot to go to lunch. He stopped, got out of his vehicle and introduced himself, and offered to provide whatever information I wanted to know about any of the vehicles. He did not rush or pressure me, nor did he signal any indication that he had other things to do - he was devoted to accommodating me in my vehicle exploration. As I had an appointment to attend, he gave me his card, and I called about a week later to arrange to meet and discuss my auto need, preferences, and options. Gabriel was professional, congenial, personable and welcoming. He was patient and listened attentively. He conveyed his pride in the dealership and the customers he serves. As we conversed, we talked about family. He mentioned his mother-in-law made tamales, and he had brought some in to share with his work colleagues. He offered me a tamale. It may have been the tamale that sealed the deal for me. I have never had better service from a sales representative. Gabriel is a benchmark.

Brought two vehicles in for oil changes and they found one of the tires had a slow leak. They were able to patch it in the scheduled appointment time. Other places always take twice as long as they say. It was nice to have everything go better than advertised.

The service and personnel are great. I just wish that NISSAN had done a better job of aligning rear wheels on my new Rogue. Even though it is apparently normal for factory supplied tires to only last 30.000 miles, the fact that the tires were very unevenly worn, makes me believe that factory alignment was bad. On previous vehicles I was able to run 50.000 miles on factory tires, with no changes in driving style or road conditions. NISSAN should do better. Mankato NISSAN is not to blame for this.

I brought in my Pathfinder (without an appointment) to get a headlamp bulb replacement. The service techs said theyd be happy to look at it right away, but it may be a few minutes. I mentioned I had perishable food in the car, and they removed my groceries and stored them in their fridge. Id say they went above and beyond, especially considering I didnt even have an appointment - I just happened to be in the area, so I stopped in.

From the moment I scheduled my appointment to the day I had the service completed I was greeted with friendly, knowledge staff. The courtesy shuttle is a nice bonus too. Thank you!
