It was a pleasure doing business with Device Pitstop in Maplewood. It was a straight forward process for my ipad 6, no hidden prices, and accurate estimate of length of time to complete. Friendly staff walked me through the process and were up front with how busy they are due to schools being distance learning and volume of device repairs. They were done on the early side of their estimate of completion and gave a friendly call once it was ready for pickup! If I have any future issues, I will use them again!

These guys are great! I spent a minimum of 8 hours trying to fix my laptop and decided to bring it in to them. They fixed it super fast and they only charged $60. To me that was a lifesaver because it saved me from having to buy a new one.I will definitely go back!

My first vis it was a good one. Staff were prompt and well informed as to their duties. Staff member who assisted me explained pricing, wait time, and pick up time regarding my device. My laptop screen was cracked. They ordered me a new one but turned out the brand I had purchased was not able to be replaced. I already payed for the new screen so Device Pitstop offered to replace my entire laptop with a comparable refurbished one they had in store (better brand was in great condition).They made sure all my stuff was transferred to the new laptop. Still have it after 1 year later. My daughter also purchased a glass screen protector for her iphone (3rd time) and they will replace for free, IN THE STORE, No sending in for new one anymore.Great, helpful, knowledgeable, customer service. Nice clean store. I have recommended them to many people since.

They honestly do a good job. I wouldnt know the price range to compare it to in regards to other places, but they do a good job. I took 2 of my phones here and they fixed it up, for one of the phones they even RE-DID a battery replacement just to see if that was the issue, it ended up being the processor and not the battery. I appreciated it a lot because Apple kept saying it was the screen+battery, but Device Pitstop said it wasnt. Id recommend for all my electronics as they worked well with my electronics insurance which isnt a big one like SquareTrade (but thats also my electronics insurance being chill too).Overall, go here its good and friendly staff.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was prompt. Have been in multiple times for different devices. I manage IT for a small company, so we have plenty of broken devices. These guys fixed a couple of laptops with damaged screens. Reasonably priced, and they troubleshoot to make sure there is no hidden damage to motherboard or other components, at least as far as they can see at the time of repair. Great service! Broke the back of a band new phone within 2 days. I call first and got a great quote and went in and got service right away. The quote was exactly the same when I went in. They was very good at calling you to let you know when your product came in. Had the phone fix and it took only 30 min like they told us. Phone looks awesome new again.

I dropped off my sons iPad gen 6 here on Monday. They were finished with it I believe on Wednesday when I got the email. They were pretty decent when it came to talking and holding a conversation. Quick, efficient and very friendly. I got a screen replacement which came out to $143-144, other places were $149-150+Tax. Definitely will come back if something else happens to our iPads 😁

I have had my Dell lnspiron laptop for about 4 years. Recently it would not charge so I took it to Device Pit Stop. They were able to detect the problem correctly: the DC power jack was broken. They replaced it for a reasonable price and returned my laptop good and new. The customer service was excellent as well. I recommend them!

Called them before going there, and was told they would buy any old laptop with Win7 installed. Drove 1 hr and 10 mins to get there. And was told they wouldn’t take one of the laptops because hardware is too old(yes, it has Win7). They said it would take them 2-3 hrs to test the other laptop I brought before making me an offer, and I will have to come back on the next day while their website states that trade-in process takes less than 30 mins. There weren’t any customer in their store when I went in. They said they won’t make any offer higher than $30. I left because the time and trouble don’t justify the what they would pay me for. I went to another store about 10 mins drive from them. The owner took that laptop for $60 and I donated the other one to Goodwill.This Device Pitstop location is unprofessional, service doesn’t come as advertised, make low-ball offer, and over-prices products.

What an awesome place! My work computer, I inherited, was starting to run very slow, and had some technical issues I couldnt address. I had to choose a place for repair that could do so after MY business hours. Device Pit stop came highly recommended to me, and I can see why. Everyone I spoke/worked with was friendly and courteous. I brought my computer in early in the evening on Saturday, and they reassured me that the work would be complete by Sunday evening. I received a call Saturday night letting me know all the work was done and things were running much more smoothly! I was thrilled! I love that they were so respectful of MY business! Brought my wife’s android smart phone in. The phone became rather dumb - black screen wouldn’t do anything. All it needed was a soft reset - the technician did the reset and the phone started working immediately. About 5 minutes total to figure it out. Great to have the phone working again!

They fixed one of my older phones, which extended its life enough to pass it on to someone else after I got a new one. In another case, they were honest about not being able to fix a part on my phone that was cracked because the piece was too small and they couldnt guarantee the work. That was disappointing to hear, but I was glad that they didnt charge me for failed attempts to replace that part (a piece of glass around the camera).

The techs did an excellent job of building my grandsons new computer using components supplied by my grandson. The system works very well. The setup was explained to me when picking the system up and when set up at home works very well. Thanks.

I had a iPhone screen fixed and the guys were friendly and efficient. They were done within 90 mins as they said they would be. I would definitely be going back for service again if needed.

My phone got water damage and the technician was very helpful in explaining things that could have gone wrong. He was very patient and didnt talk down to me at all, but yet he still demonstrated his knowledge and made me feel confident in their abilities. Unfortunately, I came to the conclusion that it wasnt worth it to try to fix my phone, but that just goes to show that he was being honest and not pressuring me to make money. I will definitely come back here if needed and I will consider buying some of their refurbished items. Highly recommend!

I went in to get my iPad screen replaced because it was cracked and they fixed it for less than half the price at apple. They were nice, not to mention their candy bowl. They also got it done in about 6 hours. This place is the best and everyone is super friendly and I will make my first choice if I am ever in need of a repair again.

I brought my Nexus 7 in because it wouldnt charge. The technician (Chris) was very knowledgeable, honest, and informative. A quick repair was made. A greta little shop to get your phone back to its brand new self. I have had an Iphone 6 for a good few years. these guys know me pretty well for cracked screens, but my phone looks brand new each and every time!

They fixed my daughters iPhone 6 in 2 hours. They verify everything and troubleshoot before repairing and then verify everything thoroughly afterwards. Their prices are reasonable as well. The phone had issues with muddy sound from the headphone jack. The repair was a lot less than Bluetooth headphones (which have their own issues: easy to lose or get stolen, batteries go dead, etc.). They also did a good job when my daughter smashed her screen. Notice a common theme? Shes 16.

First thing I got there is signing a contract that said They are willing to fixed this object, but if they cant fixed the problem YOU are still responsible to pay if they cant fixed it. The price of fixing the screen is about $40-$60 range depend on what phone you have.

The last computer store you will ever need. I purchased a used laptop from them and couldn’t be happier! They transferred my data and got me up and running again within a day. A few weeks later I had a software issue (not related to the purchased computer) and they walked me through the fix. Great service. Knowledgeable staff. Plus the store smells great! ;)

I brought my Phone in for camera repair. Everything went okay until my camera broke the next morning. When I called them they said I would have to pay full price to get it fixed again. They accused me of breaking it. Which is not true. I ended up just upgrading my phone because it was simpler and cheaper. I would not recommend going here. They screwed me out of $200. Plus my phone was in worse condition when I picked up. Never going here again.

These people are absolutely awesome. The screen of my Surface Pro 3 was cracked and even though it was an older model, they went above and beyond. Excellent customer service, and my device is still working great 5 months later.

I had an awesome experience at Device Pitstop- I will not be going anywhere else for my repairs in the future! After having called multiple device repair shops (like GopherMods) who quoted me around $400, Device Pitstop managed to fix the trackpad on my MacBook Pro with a system reset, completely free of charge. Would definitely recommend to family and friends over other device repair shops.

Pit is about right! I thought I could get an Apple laptop for around $200. More like $399, and that was the Cheapest (2010). Then they were only going to give me $50 cash for my Dell, and if they would install Windows 7, I would get a whopping $10?! I just upgraded to Windows 10, and they want to go backwards?? 😣 Please dont waste your time...

I had such a great experience at Device Pitstop. I dont know if there are other locations but I went to the one in Maplewood. Came in, Dave gave me some options with my daughters ipad, the screen completely broken. Dave stated it would be ready in 2-3 days, recieved a call the next day stating in was fixed. This place is a joke, waited 6 plus hours to have the glass replaced on my phone. Went in to pick the phone up, glass was not even securley attached. There was like an 1/8 inch of play in the glass from the phone yo the glass. Said something about it to the guy that fixed and was told if I dont like it he can put the old cracked glass back on and charge me only $40 dollars. At that point I waisted enough of my time and just paid the full price. Then to top it off this is some cheap knock off glass they replace on your as when I got home I lightly brushed the rubber handle bar on my snowmobile with my phone in my pocket and the glass shattered. It should of been a red flag when the kids or at least they act like kids running the place that day were laughing about a guy coming to get his glass replaced three times in the same week. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy throwing money away.

Great place to bring your mobile devices and your computers for both getting repaired and if you want to sell them for a fair price. They also fix phones at a reasonable rate which is hard to find and they will do it quickly. The staff and owners are great fair and fun people that take the time to get to know you and will remember you which makes it a lot better than any alternative because it is a locally ownered business and onwed by people that actually care.
