I went to Falls Muffler and Alignment for the very first time this week. I had an exhaust system that needed either to be repaired or replaced. Had I taken my vehicle to one of the national chains, I believe I would have come out of their shop with new exhaust pipes, muffler, and tail pipe with a several hundred dollar bill.Not so at Falls. I had a hole in my exhaust pipe near the flange connecting it to the muffler. They put a sleeve on the pipe to cover the hole and reattached it to the muffler. No more noise!The cost? One hour of labor. Who still does business this way? Amazing! I highly recommend Falls Muffler & Alignment!

They do honest work and try to meet what the customer needs instead of focusing on extracting the maximum from your wallet. Not many businesses left like this today. Reward them with your business instead of paying more at a corporate chain.

Excellent service ! I was told they would check the air conditioning on my wifes car in between other jobs. Not only did they check it, they also fixed it right then. I was in and out in 1-1/2 hours.

I used to be a mechanic in high school and after getting out of the military while going to college. I still do most regular maintenance on my own. When there is a problem above my experience level, I take it to Tom at Falls Muffler. I’ve only delt with Tom and Jason and had good experiences over the last three years. They are fair with prices and do quality work. I have read some reviews about Falls Muffler and people talking about communication skills or interpersonal skills not being up to their (the reviewers) approval. They are an automotive repair shop, not a HR department or customer service center. They are there to look at your car, fix it and guarantee that your car keeps you safe on the road. Thank you Tom, Jason and other technicians that keep me and my family safe as we drive.

Tommy is phenomenal and as honest and trustworthy as they come. I took my car to the dealership for the CEL hoping it would be covered under warranty. It wasnt, and the price difference between the dealer and Tommys shop was almost $300. I was able to get the work I needed done pertaining to the CEL and my front brake pads and rotors for the same price that the dealer wanted for just the CEL issue. They also have loaner vehicles available as long as you let them know you need one so they can schedule you accordingly. I will be referring as many people as I can!

My vehicle broke down on Appleton Avenue on a Friday night. I was able to pull into Falls Muffler & Align where Tom and Jason took time out of their busy day to help me, even with closing in 15 minutes. They tried to charge my battery so I could at least get home. When that didn’t work they offered me a loaner car and to repair my car the following week. These guys went out of their way to help me, gave superior customer service, fixed my car on time and were very reasonable on top of it. Thank you for everything you did for me and my family, it is greatly appreciated!

If I could rate 0 or negative stars I would.I was looking to have stock mufflers put back on my car to lower the exhaust noise and check for other exhaust leaks. I called in the morning when they opened to explain what I was looking to have done and they immediately responded they dont do custom exhaust work (which I wasnt asking for). At this point I didnt even get a chance to explain that 2 of the muffler bolts were sheared off or anything else. They just said to bring it in so they could look at it, which I agreed to do over lunch. Figured at this point, while the call was abrupt, that it is just their process to not accept work without understanding what is being asked for, which is fair.So I bring my car in over lunch, again they dont ask what work Im looking to get done, instead just ask for my keys to take a look. A mechanic brings the car in and starts looking at the exhaust. They come back to tell me that the 2 muffler bolts are sheared and need replaced, which I knew but the main guy wouldnt let me explain. He then says it is about 1 hour of work at $88/hr which I said was OK. I then TRIED to ask if they could drill out the threaded hole in the flange so instead of bolting the muffler directly to the flange, we could use a bolt and nut. That way if it rusted again, I could just cut off the bolt not worry about it being rusted into the flange. Without being able to even finish my sentence, the guy at the front desk (Tom?) refused to listen, cut me off, and started getting mad. Saying that they use a torch to heat up the sheared bolt and remove it. He clearly didnt understand what I was asking, thinking I was asking them to drill out the sheared bolt. So I tried explaining again. He cut me off and got angry again, repeating that they heat up the bolt. At the end, I never once got a chance to explain what I wanted done nor would he even listen. He ended up just walking out of his office and as he was walking away saying We wont work on your car and left.This was BY FAR the worst customer service Ive ever received from any place ever. I couldnt believe how unwilling he was to listen to a single thing I had to say and how quickly he got angry.Walking into the shop, I had no problem spending money with them. Now I have no problem avoiding them at all costs, writing this review, and telling friends/family to avoid this place as well. How they have any business and all these 5 star reviews is beyond me. My only guess is that they never had the pleasure of talking to Tom.

As others have stated the first honest and trustworthy car mechanic I have found. Very easy to deal with. I drive out of my from Hartford just to go here. 3 or 4 visits now and pleased every time.

I was recommended to These Guys these guys are very very excellent the owner is top-notch kind of guy he works with you he wants to help you solve the problems and now hes going to be my new mechanics because hes on the level I like you I like him a lot and theyre working excellent and its done in a timely manner when said it would be done its done excellent five star I think I finally met an honest mechanic thank you guys

Tom and his Crew are great.... straight Shooter... and will tell you what only needs to be done... and then gives you areas of concern so you can plan ahead...Hes Busy ... because hes Good... nuff said

Great mechanic at a reasonable price however service takes a full day to perform no matter what the task at hand is.

Always honest and fair to me but today they went beyond that. Squeezed me in for a quick tire repair and saved my road trip. Definitely recommend Fall Muffler!

Terrible customer service. Tom nor any of his employees knew how to speak with customers. I dropped my truck of at 9:15 am for an aftemarke muffler to be installed (not hard with lift and welder). Called the shop to check on the status of my vehicle and was told were working on it now that was all that was said to me on the phone as if I was an inconvenience. Long story short, they couldnt put the muffler on for me because they didnt have the right tools. Dont call yourself a muffler shop if you cant perform a simple muffler install. I wouldnt be surprised if they cant do alignments either.

Efficient & honest! A friend recommended this place to me. He lives way out in Waukesha but still brings his car here & I can see why! I took my extra junker car there for an oil leak & didnt disclose that I knew it was a bad filter. They could have said it was something far more serious & expensive, but they didnt. They didnt try to upsell me on anything. They just asked if there was anything else I was concerned about. As a woman, its extremely hard to find a place like this! I will definitely continue to take my business there.

My 2001 Altima failed its emissions test. I tried one of those Catalytic Converter cleaning additives in my gas tank and had my regular mechanic clear the Check Engine light code, but the light came back on before the monitors reset.I brought it here because they are a Registered Service Center for the state, which means if the repairs exceeded a certain amount (and they would) my car could apply for a waiver from future testing. Instead of sinking $1,000 to replace the two converters Tom suggested clearing the code one more time, taking it for a nice long ride and running it to a testing facility.He did just that and later that afternoon he called to tell me I was all set. He said the Check Engine light would likely come back on, but I get another year before dealing with this again. Instead of $1,000 I only paid $60 for his time.I have no problem recommending Falls Muffler. You are not going to pay foe anything you do not need.

FINALLY! A mechanic, not a new parts hanger.I took the car in and Tom called with a quote within the hour.I was given a selection that ranged from a repair for $130 to $160 dollars all the way up to a replacement of $1000, which he didnt recommend. Went with the repair. He called when it was done and it was only $96.00 and running fine.When is the last time you had something done professionally,on time,for less money than you were told it would cost,and no upsales?Id feel very comfortable sending my non-mechanical wife in for a repair on her car.Dont expect complimentary lattes or lavender potpourri.This isnt a lowball,lowrent outfit. Just an honest,to the point, genuine mechanic.I will definitely be back.
