Bob and the other guys at Confident were pretty much the only mechanic I used the entire time I lived in Mentor. I just moved out of state and had a less than stellar experience while trying to get an oil change and it made me miss this place.Bob was always pleasant and accommodating and I never felt taken advantage of or pressured to get a bunch of other unnecessary services. They always took great care of my car. You wont find a better place in town.

Fair and honest. Brought the car in due to a sensor light going on and off randomly. They checked the car completely determined that there were no issues with the car and that the sensor was probably starting to go. Said the sensor issue isnt a big deal and didnt need to be replaced immediately unless it stayed on consistently. They spend well over a couple of hours going over the car and did not charge us a penny. Will be going back there for all our automotive needs. Highly recommend.

Brought my pickup here for rear brakes, and to have my overflow tank replaced due to a leak. Was charged $780 and had to bring it back because I almost ran into a semi on the way to work because the brakes darn near didnt work. They were worse than when I originally dropped it off. Terrible unless you have no other choice Id stay away from this mechanic.

We took both company vehicle for tires, exhaust and and the van had a new air conditioner installed. Bob explained all the work required in detail and he and the crew were professional and courteous. Their prices were better than I had been quoted elsewhere and we had our vehicle back on the road in a few days. Highly recommend !!

Just bought a used car & was told it only needed a tune-up. Unfortunately for me the engine light came on the next day. Took it to Bob at Confident & he let me know EVERYTHING wrong with it and fixed the check engine light. Not a tune-up but oil leaking into the plugs. Really honest and I believe trustworthy. Ill be taking it back to have the other problems fixed also

All that was needed was a tire installed on a motor home. Tire was installed but they did not extend the valve stem, that to me is as inconsiderate as can be.
