I only give 4 star for Chrystals kindness, she wasnt the one who checked me in but you could tell she was embarrassed of the way her co worker(the black pregnant lady) treated me and the other customers. That young lady should not be in customer service if she doesnt have the patience to deal with people. She was extremely rude. Customers were pretty much begging her to do her job. No greeting customers, didnt even bother to put on a fake smile. Ill never bring my business to a place like this again. Thank you Chrystal for being so nice. You should be the one running that place.

Initially set up a reservation for a 17 foot truck on Monday, March 25 but called to change the pickup to Tuesday quickly through the 1 800 number. Arrived at U-HAUL shortly after reservation time of 12pm. No greeting or acknowledgement upon arrival. Only one rep processing reservations. Extremely slow process even with a reservation. Computer was extremely slow and reservation had to be processed more than once and debit card used was swiped repeatedly before the process was complete. Initial rental truck had a broken mirror and needed to be switched out. Second truck had obvious dents. Advised to download app which took almost longer than obtaining the truck but was unable to indicate where to report damage. Was told by a worker to just keep pictures of the dents for return. The whole process took too long as we ended up leaving at almost 1pm. Workers were quite nonchalant about helping customers even when a line formed. Definitely not a place to go if you are in a rush.

Totally waste of time this place.I obvious that the owners are not present.The employee just do as much as not getting fire.I not recommend this place, unless you dont appreciate your own time.

Stay away from this location if you have any kind of schedule to keep. If there is one person in front of you, your average checkout time is about 1 hour. Nobody is in a hurry for anything. Theyll let you reserve online for truck share to skip the office, but your truck wont be there. There is zero accountability, so dont expect the situation to change any time soon. The guys who work the lot are very nice and hustle, but the log jam in the office renders their efforts futile.

My hitch installation was scheduled 2 weeks prior to the expected installation day. Its been 2 weeks past that day now. So, within a month not only they still havent received my part, but they do not even return my calls. I called several times and was told that the manager (Willie Shine) would call me back. He never did. All my following calls were never answered by a person.

All the way from the manager to the employees very caring people they want to help very impressive. You girls are the best

They promised to email me a receipt in 5 minutes, I received it the next day with an extra day on my bill. I will not recommend this location to anyone now I’ve been on the line for 30 minutes waiting to speak to a representative .

When I brought back my rental it was slightly raining the employee that I I tried to turn in the vehicle to told me I had nothing to worry about well the next day I got charged an extra day for the employees laziness and negligence

The location is great for me. Service leaves much to be desired, but it depends on who you get. Some people are super friendly and nice, some are a little more rude. Its a general U-haul problem however. I think management should do a better job at making employees feel more invested.

Lots of boxes and bubble wrap availableUpdate. I have had to change my review. Last year I visited Miami and hired a truck using my American Express card. It was a US dollar card issued in the UK. I also have a SunTrust card for when I travel to the USA so used that card for all my usual transactions. I used the US dollar Amex once while I was in the US and that was in Uhaul. I didnt use the Amex anywhere else. 3 months later after I had returned to the UK, I got an SMS from Amex saying I needed to contact them because they had blocked an attempted transaction on my card from a merchant in Mexico! I last visited Mexico over 38 years ago when I was 9 years old. So I was shocked. I called Amex and they said the transaction has been blocked by them and they confirmed the only other transaction on the card was from 3 months earlier at UHAUL. In Miami. Now I am not saying that my card details were stolen by the UHAUL staffer, who, after thinking about it, did take my card out of sight for a few minutes, but it sure is a coincidence! However I did call UHAUL customer services and reported it. She said she would pass it on.

Sandra is the most helpful and caring employee at U-Haul that I have ever encountered in my life. She really goes an extra mile to help the customer, securing the deal for company as well. I am very much impressed.

I used this location a couple of times in the past. It was A1. However, this rental there was a different staff. The truck smelled of cigarettes. And the price was double what i paid a few months ago. The gas and miles recorded by the staff was incorrect. I had to take pictures to show the difference of their documents as opposed to what they had. I was allowed a discount but still felt I was being taken. All in all still Ill use them again but Ill be very careful.

HORRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! ONE OF EMPLOYEES ON THE PHONE THE ENTIRE TIME AS I WAITED TO GET A UHAUL! Nope just no no no. Staff was nice enough, but I didn’t feel safe at all leaving my belongings here!! Definitely a rodent/roach problem, also transient people sleeping in the units. We made a reservation online but after arriving didn’t unload a single box, went instead to Extra Space Storage on Coral Way and had a MUCH better experience — very clean and far more safe and secure. If you actually care about your belongings, do not go here!

. 4 staff talking while 1 cashier helped a long line. Trucks are in poor shape (passenger window doesnt roll down), old trucks. Compare to other locations and I expect better from Uhaul.However: open until 7p which is nice. Return process was easy.

I like it there its nice and the staff is cool as ice and they have soda machines and thats what I love about them. The elevators are cool and they move very fast. And its nice and cool Im going to use their storage facility every time I need to put something in there.

This will be my 2nd review of this location. I just want everyone to know that this group of women at the desk and men outside are all on top of their game. I rent a truck 2 to 3 times a month to do markets. I started using this locale recently. In the short time I have these things have happened. When I made a reservation on my phone the pick up and increment of time had apparently reset to its default settings. Management called me shortly after noon to make sure all was good and when I explained they said no problem well see you at 5:30. Another example is that a truck I rented had a gear change issue and the lock didnt work. They refunded me all the charges except miles. And then today. One of my employees had mistakenly kept the key to the truck and I couldnt return it by my return time. They not only were understanding and didnt charge me, they were so supportive and kind, as they could see I was under alot of stress. That right there is as human as it gets. These women have hearts and brains and are absolutely the best Ive dealt with in a very long time. It means so much and they have got my loyalty.

Wow!!! I got very surprised about the excellent customer service at this U-Haul location. I was so busy that day, and the two young smilimg ladies there, were such a kind, efficient and helpful to everyone who stopped for truck rental, that we dont even had to ask anything to them. These girls know what they do!!!Very happy to do business with them again soon!

There is an obvious rodent problem that is not being addressed. Rodent droppings everywhere and the entire facility smelled like urine. When I went to inform them of the urine smell, they dismissed me saying that the smell was from the A/C units and that they needed to change the air fresheners. If an incredibly pungent smell of urine is coming from your A/C units, then something is living in your A/C unit. They are trying to mask the smell with air fresheners in the A/C units rather than take any sort of action. There were also roach wings everywhere. Im also fairly sure I observed someone getting ready for their day (washing/brushing hair) in on of the units, which leads me to believe that they are living in the unit. I was in need of a storage unit quickly and I was out of the unit in less than 24 hours. That should tell you something. The facility was absolutely disgusting.

Great service but computer systems went down & with only one customer in front of me it still took almost 45 minutes to get my rental truck.

The new Ford model our great aside from this! Scam, switch after the sale, false promotion, limited closing disclosure and leaving customer not aware of fees added to return...if I see one more charge I am turning my account to fraud!!! CFPB AND FTC!!! Robbery! Im still receiving recent transaction charges. Red flag!

Hello My name is Alex,I called this location hoping to get a truck or a quick response, what i received was horrible service. I called on my cell phone and waited 9 minutes with no one coming to answer the line, my brother called and within 2 minutes someone serviced him immediately while i was still on hold. I confronted her about this on the phone and all she could say was i was going to put him on hold because we are so busy but I was asking if he needed any service keep in mind with me all she did was say please hold and leave me waiting on the line. No apology for the wait, and with an attitude hanging up the phone like.

My uhaul truck was INFESTED with roaches. Front and back. They were all over my things. Absolutely unacceptable. This is not okay. They told me the truck I had was one of the new ones so I can only image what the older ones were like

Really bad location, no help at all they do not look for the item at all the two ladies do not know how to look for the item in the computer they send me from another uhaul, 40 minutes away for nothing, the guy told me the the other location look to fast in the computer for the item and that they dont have it., the two ladies did know they can sell the hitch in the store by itself and giving faces when asking for thr hitch.

Very unreliable, had reservation for 20 foot truck several days in advance, they called the day before and said they dont have my truck. But agreed to have a 26 footer. As i arrived there was a long line. Understandable for a weekend. But from the 40 min i was there employee never said we dont have trucks available. Everyone was told corporates fault. What is wrong is that i had a reservation and never informed on time untill it was my turn on the line. Never renting here. I suggest budget on 81st and north miami ave if needed for this area.

Bad service.. we moved from New York City to Miami. my glasses of damaged glasses, my books and magazines broken and stained. a plague of cockroaches infested our deposit and we had to throw out towels and other dirty objects by insect excrement .. A disaster .. Who will pay me all these damages and dirt from my work books damaged by these insects? Very upset with this service ..

The attention was really good but the price its not what you expect to pay in the end yet....

I got there and got yelled at by the manager for parking in the wrong area, but there arent any signs anywhere indicating where you can or cannot park. I move my vehicle to the designated parking area where theres a man (non employee) just standing around near the other vehicles parked there, making me uncomfortable about leaving my vehicle unattended there even if for a few minutes. I go inside and even though there are two employees only one of them is assisting customers which meant I had to wait for the manager (dont remember her name but it began with a T) to finish with the person before me and they seemed to be taking all the time in the world. When its finally my turn Im rudely informed that the van I reserved days ago was available but the equipment I required was not. It would have been nice to receive an email or a call or even been told over the phone when I called that morning because just by not having the dolly carts my move took hours more than it should. If its possible the equipment might not be available then there shouldnt be an option to include it in the reservation. None of the employees said good morning, thank you, have a nice day etc. And their attitudes were less than welcoming. Even though this may be the closest uhaul to my home I will not be returning to do business here and recommend everyone else go elsewhere as well.
