This is a buy as is dealership. With that being said if you know cars this place is great. My family has gone for several cars over the years. You get what you pay for. I am totally in love with my new ride and glad I shopped around before I bit the bullet.
Dave at Milford Auto Outlet was a very kind, helpful gentleman to work with. He didn’t express that “pushy used car salesman”, which was very refreshing for a change after endless searching elsewhere. The process of finding the right used car for me - a Suburu Forester - was easy and comfortable. He had great options to look at. I absolutely love my final choice, especially for being such a fair asking price in these times. I have waited a couple months to post this review as I wanted to give myself some time driving the car. I went here knowing this is a wholesaler, hence the great prices, but I couldn’t be happier. I now continue getting my car detailed from this place. Andrew does a fantastic job, and he is very thorough. I have and will continue to recommend - thank you guys!!!
A true gentleman in the affordable pre-owned car business. We have used Doug @ Milford Auto Outlet for years now and have had many successful transactions with him. Always honest, professional, and a nice selection of vehicles.
I did not end up purchasing q vehicle there but after looking a few times I would not hesitate to recommend them. They just didnt have what I was looking for.
The dealer here is not very forthcoming and minces words and later tells you you heard incorrectly (gaslighting at its finest). Not about quality in the least only about taking your money knowing full well what they are selling is junk. I would give negative stars if possible. And some how with all of the bad reviews they seem to always make it seem like the customer is the one at fault. This behavior goes right along with the condescending way they will speak to you in person.
Bought a car here shortly after my sister did. Great prices and good inventory. Would highly recommend.
I am a single mom and did not have a lot of money to spend on a car. I went there to look at cars after I got my stimulus check. They were honest and up front with me about the way they do things. They wont tell you something that they dont know about a car so its up to you to make sure it is what you want.Im not a mechanic so I had my brother come with me. He knows more than I do. I had him look the car over and he told ne it would need a couple things. They gave me a couple recommendations of where I could get the work done for good prices. They were right. So far its working out really well. That was my experience
Wholesale vehicles at below wholesale price. I have had many dealings with Doug and consider him to be an upfront and honest man. I would highly recommend them to anyone with a bit of mechanical ability.
Run away folks. As a consumer advocate I can’t ignore that I recently witnessed some very shady practices and questionable behavior on the part of the dealer that can only be chalked up to a seriously warped ethical benchmark for this business. If you don’t want to be ending up in court or some other personal nightmare please take this warning seriously. They will also gaslight you into thinking it’s all your fault. Honestly unless you love conflict and guys who give off seriously skeevy vibes- run the other way.
I had Milford Auto Outlet detail my car before I sold it. Andrew did an absolutely outstanding job. My 8 year old car looked BRAND NEW Inside when he was done. Will be recommending to my friends.
They were helpful and nice. They wore masks and did things ti demonstrate that they cared about my safety and the safety of my daughters. They were not overly eager or pushy.I would recommend if you want a place that wont pressure you
Great experience shopping here... thank you!!
Nice talk with David, great experience!
About the most unusual car buying experience Ive had. Dude doesnt have much for personality or charm (not rude though). Its kind of a what you see is what you get to place. Hes not interested in negotiating or making any promises. Its basically you look at the vehicle and you like it for his price or you dont buy it.No warranty, no smoke blown. If you know about cars you should do fine. If youre clueless bring a mechanic.
Came here for the prices, their service was fair and straight forward. At no point did I get “sold” a car. Instead I got someone who helped me make a decision and treated me fair. I see some other reviews and it infuriates me. This place sells cars at a massive discount and what you see is what you get. If you want to be treated like a human and not some sales target then come here. Dave was actually an awesome person. He was friendly, down to earth and easy to do business with. I did the research, found what I wanted and he made it so easy to buy the car I needed. Again, unbeatable prices, pleasant experience, and absolute non negotiable straightforward above table business. 10/10 would recomend to a family member.
The man I dealt with was friendly and respectful, and didn’t make me feel pressured to buy or anything, which is nice while car shopping. Their pricing is fair, and they had a decent selection.I bought a vehicle on Father’s Day. We were told not to drive it off of the dead end side road on to the main road, because there weren’t any plates for it. So I couldn’t take it over 15 mph. Now, I can’t even say I blame the dealer, I shouldn’t have bought the car at this point, if I couldn’t even take it up to speed. So that was, admittedly, my own error. I bought it anyways, and on the ride home, once able to take it over 20 mph, there was hesitation, sputtering, and we could barely accelerate. By the time I got home (45 minute drive), my engine light was on.I took it to get looked over the next day, and was told I needed transmission work. Upon further inspection, I was told I needed a whole new transmission. :( I called the shop back, and was asking for even a partial refund and to give the car back. I was told to call back when my title came in. So when I did, I was then told the shop was closing due to COVID. Now I’m a single mom of three, with a dying vehicle and no money to buy a new one. If you know cars, or know someone who does, you should be fine buying here. I understand that these vehicles are sold “as is”, and once you sign that paperwork, it’s a done deal. I just was really hoping, out of just being kind, that I could have gotten some of my money back and returned the vehicle. Like I said, I know this is all my own fault. Just come prepared to really look your car over, and purchasing here is probably actually a great deal, as long as you know what you’re buying!!
I’d been trying to call over and over for a couple weeks and never got answers, no surprise. Decided to take a couple hour drive from Maine because of good prices and their website had good reviews (easy to tell they’re fake ones or they delete the real ones)I have never seen a place operate like this.Let’s start with the car itself.First, in their listing, claimed it had a sticker still good until April. Go to look at the vehicle, no sticker at all.Went inside to talk to them, neither guy could be bothered to get up to discuss, show, or even remotely try and actually sell a car. He claimed he took a photo of a good sticker before replacing the windshield and that’s “good enough”No temp plates. No dealer plates. Are we supposed to just buy cars without seeing if they run or drive and just take their word for it?I’ve been under giant oak trees that were less shady then this place.
Very poor customer service. Me and my friend was badly disappointed.
I had s good experience here today so I thought I would share. I got a good deal on a car that I had to drive a little distance for. As others have pointed out they dont have plates to give you but the savings made up for it for me anyways. They were helpful and polite and had a good selection in my process range. So it worked out for me.YMMV
I went to his website and had to fill out my information then prove Im not not a robot. Wouldnt complete because of the photos you had to match. I was interested in a vehicle and was paying cash. How many people are doing that today?? Dave called me and acted as if he was doing me a favor calling me on his day off. During the conversation he continued to talk to others. Dave life lesson... when in business for yourself THE CUSTOMER PAYING IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I was paying cash you were so rude you lost my business and the chance to move inventory. I will look elsewhere thank you.
Wanted to touch base about a Vehicle prior to driving out, as I am not a New Hampshire native. From our conversations alone I can say personally that I would not give this man or “company” your money. In route was informed that there would be other other appointments prior to mine and within 15 minutes was told that the vehicle spoken for, which is understandable. The proceeding condescending remarks about the availability were generally short and blunt and alone made me reconsider my intentions for this company. If you are considering buying from here consider you other option first unless you’re ready for a run around.Edit: After this was posted I received a much needed phone call mostly; defending his own actions but with a hint of genuine apology towards the end of our rationalizations. In my opinion I would not constitute this business as a professional dealer, but one aspiring to be without the direction. As long as you’re willing to stand your ground, assuming that you know what you want and the market associated (KBB, NATO, maintenance schedule, etc) you may find exactly what you need. That being said, and to be taken with a grain of salt as it’s my opinion.. I would not recommend to first time buyers or the automotive illiterate.
I had a great experience buying a used car from here. Friendly, easy to communicate with, and very helpful with getting me all the paperwork I needed to register and title with the RMV.
EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I saw an amazing car listing on craigslist for a cheap low mileage car but this place is an hour and a half away from where i reside. I still couldnt help myself from going there since it looked so beautiful on the pictures and it said no issues with it whatsoever! when I called about the car I was yelled at over the phone, but I still wanted to see the car!! when we got there the car had a flat tire, and the underside was completely rusted!! they claim they are appointment only but people are walking in and out all the time and if you care to go there they wont acknowledge you. I checked out the other cars since we drove so far and all of them had something missing or wrong with it. Dont bother going here its a waste of your time.
2001 Chrysler town and country. I recently was looking for a Beater because we go to northern Maine snowmobiling every winter, and I didnt want to rack up miles on my late-model vehicles. I started looking on craigslist really wasnt finding what I wanted then I came across Milford Auto Outlet, checked out their website and saw a couple vehicles I may be interested in so I spoke to Dave, and decided to take a drive down from Scarbrough Maine to Milford New Hampshire about 120 miles Dave basically shared with me how they purchase their cars and then turn around and sell them, I told Dave I have never bought a car this way and he made me feel pretty comfortable on making my decision so I found this vehicle. I have to laugh because when I told Dave I was going to drive it home that night and leave my car at his dealership till the next day, he looked at me like I was a little nuts, but my thought was if its going to blow up on the way home its gonna do it that night or the next day whats the difference. Needless to say I drove it home with zero problem. For a car that has 142k on it, you would never know it by the way It drove. Two days later, I drove it from Southern Maine to Fort Kent Maine which is on the Maine/Canadian border, 300 miles one way, probably another nutty move. Three days later turned around and came home without a single problem. Going forward when I am in the market for another Beater I am sure I know where Im headed. I would highly recommend Dave and MAOcars . A+++ people there. Thank you Dave, Mark
Great place to go for a vehicle. Awesome salesman who doesnt push or force anything. Very easy going and a huge selection of good priced vehicles! Highly recommend
My car caught on fire in my first hour of driving it ... I wouldnt buy from here unless you want to almost get killed while driving :(
Buyer Beware! Dave, the owner, is a knowledgeable and straightforward guy. He is up front about the as is nature of the cars he sells. I disagree with this business model. If I am selling cars that have possible defects, Id want to hire a part time mechanic to tell people up front what issues there are, so they can factor it into their purchasing decision. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is. I didnt get on my back and under the truck to check for frame rust and now I have a safety situation. Do I risk giving this truck to my daughter to drive? Should she be at risk for the decision I made to buy a lower cost vehicle? Dave and I agree on this statement: If you dont have the money to deal with possible problems that may be present, this is not the place to go to buy a car. Go somewhere where there are warranties and maybe lease a car to help with finances. Dave does care about his customers opinions about his business and if you are dissatisfied, he would like to have a dialog.
I buy one car from here for my wife and will come back to get some other car one day. It was an easy place to use, they make you car easy to buy for someone not from this country. I have no problems with these guys here.
What an awesome experience. I had heard about these guys through a friend who had purchased a truck there for a very reasonable price. I needed an inexpensive vehicle quickly, so I decided to check them out. What a great decision. It is a relatively small car dealership, but the lot was absolutely packed. There were so many affordable cars to choose from. I really want to emphasis that these prices were much lower than the 3-4 other used car dealerships I had been to that week, especially considering the excellent condition the vehicles were in. I ended up going with a mid-size compact at a great price (about 1/3 less than I had prepared to spend). The owners Doug and Nate were very friendly and seemed to genuinely want to accommodate me and not just make a sale. Using this expression nowadays is certainly a cliche, but they really were no pressure. I eventually sent a friend to them who was in search of a specific vehicle and they were able to find him a Jeep Renegade he had been looking for, for quite a while, at price he could afford. I would recommend to anyone, but especially to those on a budget. Hidden gem.
Sales staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The sevice center took care of my every need quickly and efficiently. The detailing crew did an amazing job. You would have thought I bought a new car. Thanks everyone for a great experience. Ill be back in a few years.
Bought a Toyota Tacoma from the Milford Auto Outlet about a week ago, the truck seemed fairly nice but only as nice as a vehicle can seem when the place youre allowed to test drive it isnt long enough to get it very far out of first gear. I proceeded to buy the car because the owner seemed trustworthy and helpful but was I wrong. The car currently will not pass a state inspection because the check engine light has been tampered with so it will not turn on. My mechanic informed me during this entire fiasco that the guys over at Milford Auto Outlet have a reputation of selling cars like this and since all of this happened I have found many more reviews of this happening to people from Milford Auto Outlet. Unfortunately for me because of the very specific way they worded the sale documents I have no legal recourse but dont get scammed like I did just save yourself the hassle and regret and just buy your car from pretty much anywhere else.
I cant say enough good things about Milford Auto Outlet. Excellent service, extremely fair pricing and a friendly and helpful staff made buying a vehicle a very pleasant and stress free experience. Highly recommended!
BUYER BEWARE!!Sketchy salesman hiding scams. My girlfriend and I went there to check out a Subaru he had on the lot. When we went to start it up, it hesitated to start just like every Subaru does when you clear a check engine light. I instantly knew something was up. Took it for a very short test drive because he wouldn’t let us take it on the actual road which was very sketchy as well. After a few minutes of letting the car run and driving around the parking lot it started to have a hard time running. At this point it was shaking and struggling to idle. The check engine light came on just like I imagined it would. I used my own scanner and found multiple timing codes. Looks like they changed out the AVCS sensors to try and fix the problem, and when that didn’t work and realized he was in over his head on the car he decided to start clearing the light before people came to see it. He acted like he knew nothing about it. Said he had only had the car on the lot for a day. I’ve seen it posted for a few weeks. Awful way to do business. Definitely be cautions shopping here. Bring people who know what they are looking for and/or have a scan tool. This is not the first time I have looked at a car here only to be seriously disappointed by the way they do business and the scams they are selling. I will never be stopping at Milford auto outlet again.
Stopped here based on the recommendation of someone I know that recently bought a vehicle that they were very happy with. I was looking for 2 vehicles for my teenage kids. I was impressed with the fact that they did not try to force anything on is, made some general recommendations but did not try to sell us. They let us look at vehicles but kept their distance and were not pushy. We looked at a few things then left to go get lunch in town to think about what we saw. I ended up getting one vehicle there and held off on the other one we were looking at because the 2 were w little out of our price range. So far the escape we bought has been great. Needed a few things for inspection but at the price we paid that is to be expected. We are keeping an eye on their site to see when something else comes in that will work for our second teenage driver still in need of a vehicle.
I have bought 3 cars here now and had good experiences every time. As others have stated they do NOT go through the cars before selling them. That is the reason they are priced like this. If you want a car with a warranty and sticker it will be more money. Every time I have been there I have heard them explain this VERY clearly to at least 2-3 people that have been in or on the phone so it always amazes me when I see people leave a review about how they got scammed and there is something wrong with the car that they bought for thousands less than somewhere else and were told extremely clearly up front that it had not been gone through or checked in any way. They will let you go through the car there and encourage you to bring a mechanic as well. If you choose to buy the car anyways and do not do either of those things how can you be mad? Out of the 3 cars I have purchased here I looked at about 5 or 6 total. I did not buy 2 or 3 that I felt were not right for me but out of all the cars I looked at here there were enough to choose from that there have been some that have worked great. That is why this place works for a lot of people.
Good cars here. They make good deals. Thank you
Honestly its wholesale cars...but for the price they work. Here in MA a $2500-$3000 car is worse. For the price they give honest descriptions and pics online. Just look. Havent bought a vehicle yet from there....but...the deals look good for the price.
Purchased a used vehicle here two months ago. Vehicle has been great, no issues. I was treated fairly and professionally throughout the entire buying experience.
Typical wholesale business. They know whats wrong with the cars, but theyre not going to tell you about it. They definitely do something shady with the check engine light issues because as others have mentioned, and as I also experienced, you cant drive them on the main road. The only test drive youre going to get is down behind the lot. Maybe youll get through 2nd gear. So, once I bought the vehicles that I did from these guys the check engine light came on in my truck after driving it for 20 or so miles. And, thats not the end. This truck is a basket case. The other car I bought? Has stored codes but wont throw a check engine light. What does that tell you? Im pretty upset at the lack of honesty and what lengths people will go to to make a buck. Too bad too because the guy I dealt with was very nice. But, like I said, the lengths people will got to in order to make a buck are pretty darn sad. What happened to integrity? If you have to buy here, bring a mechanic, wear clothes you dont mind getting dirty, and go through the vehicle with a fine tooth comb. I didnt go through mine well enough because I was wearing decent clothes and pressed for time. The vehicles here are overpriced, and will definitely need work to pass inspection. Otherwise, DO NOT BUY HERE! DO NOT BUY HERE! DO NOT BUY HERE!
Went here while looking for a car for my oldest daughter. Their prices are excellent, we are not car experts but they did what they could to help us and not make us feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. We did end up buying a Honda Pilot with a third row seat that is working out great for her and her expanding family. We brought our mechanic here with us to have him look at cars we were considering before buying something. We left a deposit on Saturday and then came and picked it up on a Wednesday. Has been a great car.Thank you!!
Was very pleased with purchase of a first car for my,daughter. We did a little work to the car to get it pass inspection but it has been grear. David was wonderful.
Cannot say enough great things about this place! This is how all used car dealerships should operate... I recently purchased a vehicle from them after shopping around about 20+ different dealers. The professionalism and knowledge from Nathan was what sold me on making my decision to buy from Milford Auto Outlet. I could tell right away that he was more interested in finding a car that was right for me and my family rather than just selling me a car. I love my new car and I will definitely recommend Nathan and his staff entire staff to anyone I know looking to buy a used car the RIGHT WAY!
We recently had a good car buying experience here and would recommend if you need something in an affordable price range. Wholesale prices so it worked out.
By far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. When I got to the dealership, I wasnt even so much as greeted! I had to enter the building (which was a bit of a dump) to ask to see it. All the guy did was give me the keys, and walk away! Once i checked it out and found some pretty concerning features (like the softball size hole in the body from rust, the big dent in the side of the bed, and its inability to start the first time I tried to turn it over) While the vehicle was less then I expected from the description online, I made a low offer, because that is part of negotiating a car price! The salesman responded with a simple answer saying that he is not interested in my offer. Which is fine. I responded asking what the lowest price would be, he went off on a tirade about how I insulted him with my low ball offer. Incredibly rude. Incredibly unprofessional. Incredibly surprised that this guy has sold a single vehicle! I do not expect to see him in business too much longer
Little expensive for what they have
Great clear vehicles at reasonable prices. I have bought 2 vehicles from there. The guys there are helpful, not pushy salesmen, and will answer any questions you have about the vehicles. I highly recommend stopping in if you are looking for a vehicle.
I called ahead to verify the car was still there and was very pleased in the persons knowledge of their inventory. I bought the car from Nathan, who was great and personable. I came back and dealt with David Hansen for the paperwork. He was very professional and quick. Price and treatment were A+++++
Drove over an hour and a half to look at a vehicle. I specifically asked if there was anybody damage. the salesman replied no just normal wear and tear. When we got there it had clearly been hit from the back with the bumper cracked and rear quarter panel bent. Wasted 3 hours of my day. Would never go back to this place.
I had a great experience. The staff was very accommodating, they answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable with my purchase. No one was pushy or overbearing – they were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them!!
I went to Milford Auto Outlet looking for a inexpensive car that was in good condition. I found what I was looking for along with great customer service. Nate and Doug went above and beyond to make you sure I was satisfied with my purchase. The both of them were knowledgeable and friendly. For someone that has worked in the car sales industry I was impressed with their honesty, a rarity in the used car business. They also have a great selection of quality cars at a reasonable prices. I plan on sending my family and friends to them for all their car needs.
Dont buy here if you value your money
Very good experience Ive bought 3 cars from Milford Auto Outlet one for myself and two for my teenage kids. These guys know their cars and the prices are very reasonable and they are honest guys with no smoke and mirror sales the cars are what they are. Ive had no problems with the 3 that I have bought so far and Ill be back next year when my son gets his permit. thanks guys. very highly recommended.
What an excellent dealership very complete and knowledgeable staff! No pressure laid back atmosphere. Definitely would recommend these guys if your looking for a hassle free, car buying experience!
To date, I have had two great experiences with Milford Auto Outlet and purchasing two vehicles for myself. Nathan was helpful and knowledgeable in helping me purchase my first BMW! My car has continued to perform well and has been very reliable. I also purchased a Jeep for the winter and Ive experienced the same results with this purchase. Nathan treated me so well that I have referred my family and friends to him and they have all been pleased with the results of doing business with Milford auto outlet.
One of the best experiences in buying a vehicle in a long time. Milford Auto was able to help out with all my needs for my family and I. They were able to help me pick out one from their large selection and kept it affordable. Unlike those big auto companies - Milford Auto Outlet took the time to really here our needs and help us by showing what was available to us. If youre looking for a car or truck or a SUV, dont look any further then Milford Auto Outlet. For great prices, great selections and good home town friendliness, these folks know there stuff..
Ive now purchased two cars, and my experiences both times were great! Doug and his associates know their stuff, I felt comfortable working with them, they were honest and straightforward, no hidden fees. Never felt rushed into a purchase. Would highly recommend, prices were very fair!
Ive been doing business with Doug & Nathan for many years and have always had great experiences. They have an excellent variety of vehicles and very fair pricing. Its refreshing to see a car dealership that breaks the negative stereotype and treats customers well.
We bought a car here on Thursday night and have been really pleased with it so far. We did a lot of research and read a lot of reviews before we made our decision. I am a single mother with 2 kids and was looking for something safe and reliable that would not break the bank. If you are anything like me you know how hard that is to do on a budget. With the amount of money I had to spend it was really tough but I am glad I went here. Some people have mentioned that they do not look over the vehicles before they sell them which is and isnt true. They do give the vehicles a look over but they are not do inspections there so the cars dont come with stickers. I looked at a few different SUVs and ended up finding something that i thought would work good. After I bought it i went to my family trusted mechanic and he said it was a really good buy. It needed front brakes and a tail light bulb for sticker but that was it. I expected a couple things. Overall I have been really happy. Im a single mom that doesnt know all that much about cars. If I can do it anyone can!!
I had a great experience here! The staff is very knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions and also are very friendly. It is a laid back atmosphere and I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to make an auto purchase.
Best prices around. Good inventory. The staff was very helpful and straight to the point. I had a very pleasant experience !!
Fabulous place to buy a car. The staff is fantastic, taking plenty of time to help you find exactly what you are looking for. They made the process simple, pain free and I ended up with the best car I have had in years. I will buy all my cars from them and recommend them to everyone!
Thank you for such a great car for my mom and a great price. She loves it. You won’t find better cars for the money anywhere.
We drove from Maine to look at a few cars there for our 19 year old daughter. They do not do temp plates there but we were able to get one from our town hall in Maine before we came so that was not a problem. I brought my brother to look at the cars for me, being a single mom I am not a mechanic or an expert about cars so I wanted to have someone look the car over before I made a purvhase. I am glad I did because our of the 3 cars there we were looking at 1 needed more work than I wanted to get into and having someone that knew more than me about cars gave me the information I needed to make a decision I was happy with.We ended up with a 2006 Nissan Altima that has been very reliable and was within our budget. They were patient with us while we were looking and did not pressure is at all. Good experience. Thanks.
Upfront sales staff regarding an as is vehicle. A nice and easy refreshing car buying experience for me. A+
Happy with my daughters car so far. I am a single mom and did not have a lot of money to spend. It worked out great. Thanks
Out of country buyer. We had a misunderstanding/miscommunication and they reached back out. We were then able to have a conversation to get on the same page. Definitely not something you see from many business. Lots of respect for that!
Let me tell you about my experience with the guys at Milford Auto Outlet.I called on an 2001 Excursion that they just listed. I first spoke to Doug, a great guy by the way. He turned me over to Nathan, who knew a bit more about the Excursion. I must of asked a million questions, he answered everyone of them in a professional and manner. I asked for more pictures so I could get a better idea of the condition of the undercarriage. Within minutes, he sent over exactly what I asked for. I secured the deal with a deposit and scheduled my trip to get the rig. Getting to their shop would have been a problem as I flew into NH and had now way of getting to their location. Nathan graciously offered to pick me up at the airport. Once we returned to the shop, we inspected the rig, I asked more questions, he was truthful and honest. We took it out for a test drive and it was exactly what he described and what I expected. Doug took care of the paperwork and we sat around and chatted for a bit. Nathan even gave me extra parts he had purchased. I pulled around back to load the parts and he offered to wash it for me. After we cleaned off all the pollen, I then noticed he filled it up with fuel, by the way it has a 44 gallon tank and runs on diesel, not cheap. Just another example of how they took care of me. I had a great experience and feel I made the right decision going to Milford Auto Outlet. Kevin Surface, Chesapeake, VA
Excellent purchase experience. They went out of there way to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase and had my new Jeep nice and shiny when I arrived. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!
Just bought my third car here! I have now purchased a car my each one of my children and a little something for myself. These guys know what they are talking about. You dont see many straight shooting dealerships out there anymore and these guys are just that. No hassle, easy car buying experience. Ive told them my budget and expectations and they have delivered three different cars to me all matching exactly what I was looking for. Customer service was great! I worked with both Doug and Nate and theyre both a hoot! If you want to waste time, get frustrated then complain online, go to a big dealer. If you want to just walk in and buy a car with some straight shooting guys, go here. You wont be disappointed.
I had a great experience at this dealership, makes me question some of the negative reviews. My husband and I called before going to look at a vehicle, but got caught in traffic on 101 heading out there. When we realized we would be cutting it close to their closing time we called again, the gentlemen who answered was very nice about it and said it was not a problem. We made it there about 15 minutes after their closing and ended up purchasing the truck we went to look at. My son is going to be heading to school in the fall and we are planning on buying another vehicle through them for him before he leaves.
I have bought one car here and referred 2 other people here now.I had great luck with the plow truck I bought here a few years ago and had a friend come in a buy a car last year and today my sister got her first car here. They DO NOT tell you anything that they do not know. That might sound obvious but in the car business it is not. If they know something about the car whether it is food or bad they will tell you. They dont go through them so they dont know every little detail but they do give you what they know. At these prices you cant expect much. The cars are alot cheaper here that some other places.I just look at the cars first then expect to put a little money into them when I buy something. Its always worked out so far. We are happy.
As a recently graduated student, I approached Milford Auto Outlet with my candid interest in purchasing a car to meet my traveling needs while interviewing for jobs around New England. Doug generously gave his time and effort to find a car that met my needs and importantly was within my price range. Milford Auto Outlet arranged to have the car I needed ready to go on pickup. The experience was hassle free and I left with a vehicle that met my needs at a price I could afford.
I bought a truck from them against my better judgement and it was a HUGE mistake. I had cash in hand and was looking to buy a heavy duty truck with a plow for my snow plowing business. My wife and I got there after a few hour drive from Maine looked at the truck took a test drive and looked it over best I could. I hemmed and hawed for quite a while. The dealership was sketchy, dirty and unorganized. No inspection sticker no warranty no dealer temp plates, what was I thinking. But the truck was my favorite color and a big loud diesel with a plow and I had cash. After I paid in full for the truck $8,000, I asked for my temp plate. Oh we dont do that you should have gotten a transit plate from the DMV Would have been nice to know when talking to you on the phone that morning. So I wrote on a piece of cardboard Maine Transit and off we went with my wife following close behind. Of course I had to stop and get diesel before we hit the road, it was on empty. Well I made it about 45 minutes in to our 2 hour and 20 minute drive home before the truck overheated and boiled over the coolant reservoir. Ended up getting the truck towed back home. The truck was leaking transmission fluid and needed new trans lines, break lines, oil pan, front drive shaft yoke, glow plugs, two new batteries and a head gasket job estimated cost of repairs... $10,000 yes thats right $2,000 more than what I paid for the truck. As you can imagine I didnt plow a single driveway with that truck. Luckily I was able to sell it to a local diesel shop for a few grand for parts. At the end of the day its my fault I bought that piece of junk I should have gone with my gut and walked away, I should have crumpled up 6 grand and thrown it away, it would have saved me the hassle and headache. Hopefully sharing my story will stop someone else from buying garbage from these crooks.:In response to the owner, it wasnt this year it was two winters ago, red Powerstroke with flatbed and fisher plow. It sat in my driveway for a year until I found a way to get rid of it.
Better listening and less lecturing will help you gain more success in your career sir.I inquired about a Honda Pilot. Got informed about his being a wholesaler. Asked to take car to mechanic- me doing it, not him. Got a 5 minute lecture about waste of his time . Gave so many reasons why not- his delivery is obnoxious but he was trying to communicate a legit point- if hes a wholsaler he doesnt want to spend time on nicelties, I get it, but like so many millenials, polite verbal communications arent his thing. I said thank you but wont do business with this group due to the abrasive attitude. Too many dealers are polite- this Gent needs to consider how he treats people. His response below is inaccurate: First, I never asked him to take the car to my mechanic- I asked if I could do so. Would have had a cost of adding 150 miles on a car with 170,000+. I also VERY clearly stated that I was putting my vehicle on the market with a Dont really need to sell it retail price and did not expect near that from a dealer. It is his attitude that put me off, not response to unreasonable requests. I backed out of further conversation because I cannot imagine what he would be like to deal with in the event of issues.
Most honest and straight forward salesman i have ever encountered. Very up front about his cars being wholesale.
Helpful staff. Enjoyed dealing with them. Would recommend.
Id love to give like a half a star, or no star. I spent $2500 a car and six weeks later the transmission went. Wasnt too pleased. Do not like how they dont offer dealer plates to actually take car for a ride. You can only hear and feel so much in a dinky parking lot. Service sucks. Doesnt come out and see how you are or what you are looking for. Doesnt really offer any info about vehicle. Would NOT recommend this dealer to anyone
Completely unprofessional - Not someone you want to buy a car from - stay away!
Doug was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great selection and I left with exactly what I was looking for! Definitely will be recommending these guys to my friends.
Not helpful. Got the impression they ciuld careless if bought a cat.
The staff is professional and courteous when working with clients. They have great experience and are up-front about expectations which I appreciate as a customer
They lived up too all the good things Ive heard. I would recommend you give them a try. Honest and helpful
Professional, detail oriented and did an amazing job. Highly recommend!!
Only buy cars here if you know how to fix them. All the cars are junk despite craigslist saying they all run just fine. They all need repairs. Some of the cars are beyond repair and should be junked. So buyer beware.
They are very helpful and very negotiable. My dad bought a 2004 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke from there and that truck is fantastic and the 6.0s can have major problems. May be a little dinged up but the price was right. Hope to do more business there someday.
Quality Customer Service and a great inventory of cars at VERY fair prices. I would highly recommend checking them out, you will not be disappointed
THIS PLACE GETS JUNK HIGH MILEAGE CARS THAT ARE ON THEIR DEATH BED/125-180 THOUSAND MILES? THIS IS A TYPICAL EXAMPLE OF A PARASITIC USED CAR DEALERSHIP!!!DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME WITH THESE CROOKS!!!ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE PEOPLE THAT ARE FRIENDS WITH THESE THIEVES!!!LIKE THE OLD SONG JUST WALK ON BY, WELL JUST SING JUST DRIVE ON BY!!!THESE PEOPLE ARE SLIME BALLS!!!AFTER THE 30 DAY WARRANTY YOU WILL BE WALKING DOWN THE ROAD AND THEY WILL BE LAUGHING ALL THE WAY TA THE BANK!!!
Detailer did an amazing job with my car . Highly recommend.
Purchased a F350 Dump in November and couldnt be happier with the transaction. Im a real person, I dont work for them, and this is my honest opinion. They gave me a great deal (worked out the numbers over the phone, took a deposit site unseen, and held the truck on their lot until I could arrange to have someone bring it back to Maine due to my having a surgery a day or two after the purchase was made). They went out of their way to make sure everything went smooth and I appreciated the NO BS type of dealing. They did let me test drive it, it started right up without issue, the parking lot was paved and clean, and everyone was friendly. Now a few months later I misplaced some paperwork and they responded right away to my emails and are offering assistance to get what I need. Wish I could give more Stars!
In my personal experience after visiting this dealership, and in my opinion:None of the cars that I could see on the lot were inspected or registered. You couldnt drive many of the vehicles more then 40 yards down a dead end without getting yelled at. (Who seriously would want to buy a car that they havent shifted into second gear yet..?) And to top it all off, the sales people dont seem to know (or at least wont tell you) anything about the cars that they have for sale..Save yourself some time and check out one of the other dealerships in Nashua or down the street in Milford instead. I had good luck at Stoneys and I have heard good things about horseless carriage right there in Milford.
I bought a truck there my wife bought one working on the next one good cars at a good price
Long time customer. Had many great experiences here. Thanks.
The team at Milford Auto Outlet was great to work with. They were upfront and honest with the details of the vehicle and answered all the questions I had.
Very good experience dealing with Doug on our last car purchase. Will definitely do business with them again. Thanks
I just want to give a shout out to Milford Auto Outlet! I was in a pinch and they helped me out with a smile on their face! Id trust them with anything, Thanks Milord Auto Outlet!
This dealer does NOT have any kind of dealer plate so you can’t test drive the car, does NOT perform any kind of inspection and thus has no idea if the car will even pass state inspection, and made quite clear that if the car doesn’t pass inspection or even breaks down a mile from the dealership there will be zero refund. Take a hard pass on this one, folks.
Dont believe these 5 star reviews. They were all posted within days of eachother and look fake, and judging by the people here they are. Their ads say 30 minutes from boston, its not. I walked in and was greeted with dirty looks and no hello, I shouldve just turned around then because it only got worse from there. Their office is a desk in an unfurnished three room building, their parking lot is dirt with cars locked bumper to bumper parked in mud, and they wont even let you test drive without giving them $50 first. Must be the only way they can cut a profit. The truck I had called ahead to view wouldnt start when I got there (youd think with the lack of customers they wouldve checked it when I called ahead?), one of the guys gave me attitude and continued to eat his lunch in my face as I asked about the truck, the other one sat in the corner and gave me a dirty look. The photos were also very misleading and hid a bunch of imperfections in the truck, which was overpriced. Save your time, avoid these scam artists. Im shocked as to how theyre not out of business yet. Maybe if they spent as much time actually being professional as they do creating fake google reviews, theyd sell cars.
Wow, Could the sales staff be any lazier? Went here yesterday to look at a Saab that the website said was $2,200 when we got there the price on the windshield said $2,600. The car was parked right in front of the window where 2 salesmen were sitting. We walked around the car for good 5 minutes then realized the doors were unlocked I proceeded to open the car doors check the inside, opened the trunk to check it, then opened the hood to check the engine which took about 15 minutes not a single salesperson came out to see if we needed any help. My mechanic friend showed up and he looked into the vehicle further again no help from the sales staff. My wife then went inside asked for the key to the vehicle so we could start it up, the sales associate never even stood up and handed her the key. My wife mentioned to him the price difference between the internet and what it said on the car. His response to her was, Im not going to go outside and change prices on the cars every time theres a price change, and she came back out alone. After starting the engine my mechanic friend told me that it sounded like the timing belt was about to go and that the turbo didnt sound or look good either. And told me we should walk away. But according to what they wrote on the internet the timing belt had recently been changed along with a bunch of other things that were done, clearly thats not true. So I went inside to return the key told him we were going to pass, one guy chuckled and shook his head, and the other one with his hand holding his head reached his hand out and said Ill take the key never getting up, never asking if we had any questions, and never offered to show us another vehicle nothing. How is this place still open?
Have bought several vehicles from him and had good luck
