I completed a contact form several weeks ago at the Need a Nerd website in order to request service on my computer. No response either by email or phone, not even an email confirmation of receiving my request. I called the next day and talked with a gentleman who told me they had been busy. I again provided my contact information and was told someone would call me back. I never received any further communication from them so I took my business elsewhere.

Extremely upset with Need a Nerd. Needed a new screen on my phone after moderately cracking it and they put a new screen on, but it wasnt the actual Apple certified screen that the phone originally came with. It caused my phone screen to constantly glitch when in us. Less than a month later, I barely dropped my phone once, and it created a dead space on the screen. I took it back in to Need a Nerd, requesting the correct screen be put on my phone for free or for cheaper than the original price I paid, but I was informed that I had broken the warranty, a warranty that I wasnt even aware that I had, by damaging the phone. Two weeks later, I barely dropped my phone again, and the screen is completely messed up internally. I admit I have a problem dropping my phone, but even before Need a Nerd fixed my screen, my phone could take a couple of falls and not be damaged internally. Thankfully, Simply Mac in Macon has actual Apple products and the correct screen, so I will be taking my service up. I dont mind spending more money to have the correct screen put on my phone, but I believe its unprofessional to lie to your customers that there is only one screen for the iPhone when the one you have in store is lower quality.

Wonderful work replacing the palm rest on my aged laptop so that all keys on the keyboard function correctly.

My grandmother had an issue with a few of the apps on her iPad not working. She took it to Need a Nerd and they couldnt solve the problem. I simply turned the iPad off and on and the apps then worked! Need a Nerd did not even think of the most obvious solution! I would not recommend Need a Nerd. Spend your money elsewhere if possible.

They were quick, professional, and when I opened up my computer next I realized that they had cleaned it out and organized all my cables for me.

I have a 6 Plus IPhone and the battery would not hold a charge for more than a couple of hours and it took forever to charge! They cleaned out the charging port, replaced the battery and put on another protective cover for $68 bucks, AMAZING! Their GREAT REPUTATION for quick professional service is spot on! I will always use them first! Well done!

Beyond happy with Need a Nerd. I damaged my iPhone XR screen and need a nerd replaced my LCD screen in less than 2 hours and charged me WAY less to do so than any other cell phone repair or service business offered me. Courteous and professional staff. Taking proper COVID precautions. No issues with the new screen. Phone looks as good as the day I bought. Fantastic experience all around. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Had a problem with my speakers where one wasnt working. Had some other people look it over it from a different place and they couldnt fix it.Brought it over here and had a guy named Tyler look over it. He manage to fix it like it was nothing and even explained exactly what was wrong and how I could prevent it in the future. Great service very professional could not recommend it enough.

I got my iPhone 7 screen replaced here. The staff was very friendly, and they worked with me to make sure I could drop my phone off during work and pick it up right after (which was right when they closed). They emailed me to let me know when it was ready just in case I could walk out of work for a minute. My phone screen still looks great 2 weeks later. They offer a warranty on any screen functioning issues, but they do not warranty for future screen cracks (I do know that some other companies offer this for a greater price).

Staff is very friendly, very knowledgeable, responsive and the pricing is fair. Great experience! Would recommend to anyone.

Awesome service even in difficult times! COVID restrictions were followed carefully, while they provided great service. I took my IPhone 8 Plus and my “antique” IPAD in withcracked screens. I returned just a few hours later to pick up my phone along with an added screen protector. The IPAD required a little longer but was ready to pick up the next business day.Their communication is spot on and pricing very reasonable! Thankful Milledgeville has this business there to take care of all our cell phone/computer needs. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them again when needed.

Very professional people quick service

Was a little disappointed to be honest.. put my PC in because it was running super slow.. said they would have it next day.. called two days later and was told it was ready.. when picked up was basically told it was the hardware and that nothing could be done.. which I don’t think was the case.. doing an overhaul and adding more memory or ram.. something could have improved the situation.. I would think.. but wasn’t offered any suggestions at all.. the staff however was pleasant when dropping and picking it up..

I contracted Need a Nerd to install and service a multiline-telephone system for my business, and Mark did an outstanding job catering to our specific needs. Set up was a breeze and Mark did not leave our office until he made sure that we had everything that we needed. I would highly recommend their services.

At the end of 2014 I took an older desktop PC to the folks at Need a Nerd for repair. It had power supply and motherboard problems.The problems were identified and solutions were offered. I chose the best option for my needs and within days the job was finished and the “like new” PC was at home and working well.Thanks to the folks at Need A Nerd we now have another working PC and are very satisfied and happy with the results. Mark set up our entire internet network covering approx. 50,000+ sq ft. Have yet to have a problem with it! Easy to work with and the best customer service. Need a Nerd fix a computer for one of my customers. The hardrive was failing and it wouldnt boot up. The computer was diagnosed on a day and repaired in a day as well. I just reinstalled it at my customers place of business and its working like a charm. Their prices were not un-reasonable in the slightest. I am very pleased with how things turned out and I would recommend Need a Nerd to anyone needing repairs on their computer.
