I have used Pearle Vision - Minnetonka at least 3 times. Never has there been a disappointing experience, from fitting the frames to grinding the lenses. With my tri-focal prescription the lens production has always been spot on for the focal spot location. Every time I needed new glasses there has been a new staff member assisting me. This gave me the opportunity to notice how excellent each was trained.

I am a repeat customer. I have had a wonderful experience selecting frames. Employees are friendly and helpful.

I have worn glasses for most of my adult life and I’ve never had better experience! Josh is absolutely the best! He found the perfect pair of glasses for me and also helped me pick out some pretty cool sunglasses. He is knowledgeable and takes his time, he measures and re measures for the perfect fit. He is fun, and listens to what you want. Picking out glasses can be hard, Josh made it a fun experience. The Dr was also professional and knowledgeable. The eye doctor very knowledgeable, thorough and detail oriented. I have multiple eye issues and felt very comfortable having my eye exam at this facility. Getting glasses her last year was great. Fast forward to my broken frames. My insurance plan will pay for frames only, but Pearle Vision refuses to bill my insurance as ‘frames only’ are not a prescription product. My insurance even called them and they put notes in my file on how to bill my insurance. When I called back to ask them to order and submit the bill, they refused saying it’s against store policy. Mind you they have no to problem selling them to me - they just won’t bill my insurance. Staff are helpful - but this policy is bad.

Doctor was great and my optician was awesome. We spent a lot of time trying on frames for glasses and sunglasses. Then, my HSA was slow to move funds, so she accommodated me one pair at a time until it was resolved. Great service!

Dr. Anderson effortlessly made me comfortable. He was very knowledgeable, kind, caring and professional. After my doctor visit Josh assisted both myself and my mother look at glasses. They have a good selection of frames too, but I didn’t need new ones this year as I am still very happy with the frames I got last year. I recommend their services without hesitation.

I cannot stress enough how great and refreshing it is to come to Pearle Vision! I’ve been to optometrists in the past but coming here didn’t even feel like I was going in for a check up. Everyone is so knowledgeable and in a way that doesn’t seem demeaning. Crystal helped me pick out not one but TWO pairs of glasses that fit me right and made me feel confident. There’s nowhere else I will be going in the future and I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new place to go!!

I had the great pleasure to work with Josh to find new frames. We connected immediately and he was so much fun to work with! He picked out a wide variety of frames that looked so well, it was hard to choose. We narrowed the selection down to 2 choices, so I asked Crystal for her opinion. I loved that she picked a pair and then said why that was her pick. (Which happened to be the pair I was leaning towards). Josh was such a professional and fun to work with! They took such good care of me at Pearle Vision! I chose this location because it was in my insurance network. Aly greeted me warmly and got me checked in for my appointment and started my exam, and the rest of my exam with Dr. Urshel (sorry if spelt wrong!) was great. They both were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. I had fun trying on glasses with Bridgets help. She was patient while I tried a bunch on, and she gave me great feedback and helped me find ones that were flattering with my face shape. I was having a bad day before walking in, but everyone was so kind and helpful that I left in a good mood. They really go the extra mile. I am looking forward to my new contacts and super cute glasses. I highly recommend getting your eye/vision needs taken care of here!

I had actual fun going to pearl vision today. Who would have thought that going to an eye appointment would be enjoyable? Every person I spoke with was so nice, but beyond that everyone had such fun and friendly personalities. Checked in and got the pre exam with Sarah, very friendly and easy to talk to! I had Dr. Anderson and he was great, knowledgeable and informative. And my optician was Jessica, she was amazing. Helped me pick out my frames and made shopping for them so fun! Such a great personality and the vibes from everyone in the store were just on point. They have a really good variety of frames, tons of options to choose from. 10/10 would recommend. Eye glasses are notoriously expensive, but Jessica was top notch and helped us feel like it was money well spent. In the end two things matter: can we see better, and do we look good while doing it? I hate shopping for glasses...but I really needed to replace my tired old pair. After a fair amount of shopping I was happy I found Pearle. Jessica was very helpful and listened to my concerns and found me a pair I actually liked. She also helped me with understanding Progressive lens better and helping me make the choices that I could be comfortable with.I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I just went in to get new lenses for my frames and was helped by Jessica, she was very helpful and went over all my options. She showed me some new frames that she thought would fit me well and i really liked them and for about the same price as the lenses would have cost. It was a pleasure working with her and she made me feel very comfortable in the process. I was helped by Josh and he was more than willing to assist with getting my frames and lenses ordered. We had a great conversation about life in general while he was assisting me. Usually when the other individual is quiet, it can get awkward and Josh did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. Im a people person and he made me feel very welcomed. The doctor who assisted with diagnosing my eye sight was also very helpful and professional. Overall, I am satisfied with my experience.

Great staff and wonderful customer service. Very professional and safe practices for complying with COVID-precautions. My optician was Jessica and she was very thorough and professional. She was respectful and knowledgeable, while providing me with superb retail therapy; she knew her products, listened to my needs and what I wanted and tried to meet them to the best of her ability while keeping it friendly and light-hearted. Her colleagues were also very light-hearted and friendly and willing to give perspectives when I had doubts with my selection. The ophthalmologist was also very professional and did a thorough eye-exam, taking her time to explain the process, answer my questions and provide information I needed for follow-up and future care. Highly recommend a visit with this team of professionals.

I worked with Aly and Jeff for myself and my children and they were AMAZING. They were patient and kind and fun. I came to this location for the first time a few years ago and keep coming back because my kids have asked to go just to visit and play because they enjoy the staff so much. The other staff not even servicing us were all social and polite and fun. The optometrist was thorough and pleasant. My son had broke his glasses and Jeff asked the lab person to rush them and the lab was more than willing and did mine also. We had them in under an hour. Thanks to our Pearle Family!!🥰

I have to say as a 60 year who has been using corrective vision for most of my life-my wife and I visit with Jessica has to be my favorite. Jessica was totally in on making our experience a good one. It happened to be our 34 anniversary and Jessica was sincerely happy for us. We bought two pairs of glasses and Jessica gave us a good price and made the process easy and fun!

They were great about the covid policies, making sure everything was clean and you felt safe going in. If you get the chance, ask for Jessica when picking out glasses! She was so fun and real, you dont feel like shes pretending to be nice because she has to. She did great at trying to find my style and telling me what looked good on my face. 10/10 would recommend her and this location 👍

I bought a pair of glasses with Lenses that had a blue light filter, and an anti-reflective coating from Pearle Vision Minnetonka, MinnesotaAfter receiving the glasses immediately after leaving the store I realized that all light sources have a blue reflection coming off them in my glasses. Also a blue haze sometimes shows up in the glasses. I went back into the store immediately to see what could be done about this development. Turns out that this is an issue that was known to the optician. I asked for a refund on the lenses. I was told that a refund is not offered at this location.I have 3 complaints with this:1) My ONLY option for buying lenses from Pearle Vision was to buy the lenses without any knowledge of how they would perform. There were no example pieces so I could judge the quality of the product before buying.2) I was not notified that a refund was not offered until after my lenses were purchased, and it was tool late.3) It was known that the blue reflection was a potential problem with the blue light filter offered, but I wasnt informed of this until after my lenses were purchased.I was offered a REDO of the addons to the lenses without the blue light filter to get rid of the blue reflection. However I work in front of a computer screen 8 hours a day. Blue light filtering is necessary for me. I was also offered to REDO the addons with the in-house blue light filter...at full cost. My insurance wouldnt cover it, and so this would cost more than the lenses and the glasses I purchased combined.This issue could have been avoided if the 3 complaints above had been addressed. I would highly recommend looking at sample lenses of all options the store offers so that costumers like me can better discern the best option

I cannot recommend them enough! Every staff member I interacted with was kind, down to earth, and informative. Josh is hilarious and a total joy to work with--he definitely knows how to provide an amazing customer experience! Its a place you can tell the staff likes their jobs and genuinely cares. I have had a great time working with Crystal! She was able to assist me in finding a pair of glasses that I am very happy with. I felt very safe with the COVID 19 safety precautions they have in place. Appointments are required, all customers get their temperature checked prior to entering the store and must wash their hands in the restroom before meeting with one of the associates. I had visited multiple other glasses stores prior to coming to Pearle Vision and was not happy with how some of their safety precautions were handled. I have been very pleased with my entire experience and will be returning when I need my next pair of glasses!

We took our 2 year old daughter to the Minnetonka location and they were very helpful in picking out the correct size glasses for her face.

There are 2 parts to this review; the people and the way they handle COVID precautions. Both were excellent.I worked with Jess who was really good at balancing giving me some of her thoughts and helping me voice my own. She was patient and attentive but I didn’t feel smothered. So highly recommend her when your there. Everyone was really nice. She even had a helpful assistant... I think his name was...Chester.As far as COVID preparedness, hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had. Simple basic steps, limiting number of folks, plenty of space between stations, they sanitized everything and despite them having to clean any glasses I tried on. There was no hesitation on their part to let me try as many as I needed to. Because they were so professional and proficient in their process it was comfortable. Their attitudes and professionalism keep it fun and I found a couple pairs I liked.

I had an excellent experience there. The hours were very convenient and the woman who did the intake was very personable. I liked being able to make an appointment online. Robert Anderson the optometrist was fantastic. He was very nice and did a much more thorough exam then I’ve ever had before at private eye clinics and discovered some interesting findings. He then took the time to go over the findings with me as well as my options to test/treat those findings. He seemed passionate about his field and had the utmost concern for his patient. I highly recommend this clinic.

Got my glasses today LOVE THEM. Fit perfectly light weight all working great. Jeff does above and beyond customer care and service. This is why I only go here when I am due for exam or wanting needing new glasses. It’s a comfortable feeling when you walk in the store!!! 5 + stars!!!!

Wow! I visited this Pearle Vision for a new pair of glasses after breaking mine and was extremely impressed with the level of service and cleanliness.Dalton was absolutely wonderful to worked with and helped me find a pair of glasses that I love. I thought trying glasses on during COVID would be a daunting task as I didnt want to touch too many pairs but I also hadnt purchased glasses in 10 years and wasnt sure what new styles would look good on my face. Well, Dalton certainly helped me. He listened to what i was looking for and provided thoughtful recommendations based my face shape and skin tone. I ended up finding a pair that i loved based off of his recommendation that i normally wouldnt have tried on but the color and frame style are absolutely lovely. Dalton was very kind, thoughtful and clearly listened to my likes and dislikes of every pair of glasses i tried on. I did not feel pressured to buy and actually really appreciated that he told me I could sleep on my decision and come back whenever. I took his advice and came back the next day extremely excited to order my new glasses and they were ready within about an hour and a half. A+ customer service.From a cleanliness and hygienic perspective this stores safety protocols exceeded my expectations. With COVID-19, the precautions that this location takes to ensure health and cleanliness - temperature checks, hand washing, social distancing and cleaning of products after every try on - made me feel very safe. I visited another nearby eye glass retailer where staff were standing around chatting while customers tried on eye glasses and put them back on the shelf instead of cleaning. It felt like night and day experiences.I would definitely recommend this location and Dalton to anyone in need of new eyeglasses.

Avoid this place at all costs, they will claim to honor your insurance benefits before appointment but when trying to pick glasses they would say not covered.

I had a very poor experience at this Pearle Vision and will not be using them again. Here is what happened:I went in about a month ago to get an eye exam and new frames. The eye exam went fine so I worked with someone on the staff to pick out new glasses. I found a pair and they said they would be ready the next day. I went home and looked at some of my old pairs and realized the new frames were likely too small, so I called the store back. They said they would set the frames aside and not do anything and that I should come in the next day to talk about getting a new size.I went in the next morning and explained that I wanted the same frames in a bigger size. I confirmed they made a bigger size and even saw that Target had this size in stock for a great sale price. They said they could order them, but it would take a few weeks. This was a bummer - I wanted new glasses quicker. I said I could get the frames at Target and then buy the lenses from Pearle Vision, which would allow me to get my glasses much quicker. They said this was impossible because they already cut the lenses. Remember when they said they would set them aside and not do anything? I guess they didn’t remember that. I even said I would buy the cut lenses outright since I would likely save money anyways with how cheap the frames were at Target. They refused again saying “we cut the lenses and this has already been charged to your insurance.” They flat out refused to help me accommodate a situation where I could get the glasses weeks earlier than they could.Flash forward a month. I haven’t heard anything from Pearle, but am heading to the area and call them in case the glasses are ready. And guess what? They’ve been sitting there for god knows how long. I asked why they didn’t call me and they said “you must have slipped through the cracks.” I suspect they will argue against this point in my review and say they tried to call - that would be false. I went through my call logs and voicemail and have nothing from them.So to summarize, the sales team does not seem willing to accommodate the needs of their customers if it anyway inconveniences them. And they are also not organized enough to call you and tell you when your glasses are ready.One visit was enough to know it’s time to find someone else to help me with my vision care.

This has been our family to go place for our eye glasses needs. Excellent collection of frames to choose from for men, women and kids. Place is clean and keeping good practices for COVID keeping everything sanitized. This is our 2nd year going there for eye test/glasses and will continue to go in future too. Staff is wonderful and helpful.

A few weeks ago I visited the Pearle Vision in Minnetonka to get a new set of frames with prescription lenses.Ill start off by saying the whole experience I had here was beyond fantastic! When I walked in I was greeted by a lady with a super nice smile, she asked me if I wanted any complimentary coffee or tea.I was assisted by Dalton on this day. He made the process of finding a new pair of glasses quite smooth and anxiety-free. This is huge, seeing how I usually get immensely stressed out (and frustrated) while shopping for new glasses.I think what made the experience feel so comfortable was Daltons patience while we looked through many styles of frames. I also appreciated that he was honest with me about how the glasses fit on my face. Dalton was not merely trying to make a sale, but he was there because he enjoys helping people.When it came down to billing, Dalton was very discreet and up front about all the pricing. He worked with my insurance and made sure I got the best deal possible.When I need my next pair of glasses, I will be going back here! Thank you so much Dalton.

I came in for an eye exam.My experience has been absolutely spectacular. Josh at the front desk and Jeff with glasses are awesome. Honest and straight forward about every part of the process. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable about glasses and what fit right with my face/nose.The doctor was also great. He explained everything to me and addressed all of my concerns.I am honestly blown away and have been made a customer for as long as these guys are here. They demand cash upfront or insurance. The insurance information they had is incorrect and will not contact the insurance carrier for the correct coverage information. They will not bill you so it can be submitted to insurance for payment. They also dont provide any of this information before making an appointment.

Crystal was helpful, patient and knew the “ins and outs” of her product. A pleasant experience!!

Dr. Scott helped me with my exam and Jess helped me pick out my new eyeglasses and two fabulous pairs of sunglasses. I will be working with Aly on my contact lens class. Ive been a customer for years of the Minnetonka location. The Pearle Vision staff is always enthusiastic and efficient. My vision exams always give me a perfect prescription.

The employees at this location are SO helpful and kind. Theyre also knowledgeable on different insurance plans and if they dont know an answer to your question they wont stop until they figure it out for you. I spent at least a month shopping for glasses at various stores and finally found the right ones at this location. The wonderful store associate Josh spent over 2 hours helping me decide. And never once did I feel rushed. I am grateful for all the time and help I recieved here.

The customer service was top notch and I was made to feel at ease. All of my questions were answered clearly and professionally. Josh was more than helpful with the fitting and easy to work with which is saying something as Im not an easy customer in most situations. I highly recommend their services for all of your eye ware needs.

I had an amazing experience when I went there a week ago, even though I was accidentally a day early from a miscommunication, but Aly at the front desk was super friendly and amenable to get me in anyway. Their COVID precautions were assuring and everyone was so friendly directing customers to wash hands and take temperatures. Additionally, Dr. Robert Anderson was awesome, he answered my silly questions about astigmatism and lenses, and helped improve my prescription even just by a few degrees to ensure I had the best sight I could (even with my awful sight). Josh, the optician, also worked magical wonders in helping me get the best deals I could, worked with my insurance, and helped me pick out the best glasses (that I’m very eagerly looking forward to wearing). Aly also pointed me in the right direction for a deal, and I really appreciate their honesty in helping to save money especially with this climate and how $$$ eyecare can get.I’ve been going to this Pearle Vision location for what feels like a whole decade, but this crew on 10/8/2020 absolutely made me swear that this is the best location with the most exceptional, warm and kindhearted people around. When I first arrived I was warmly greeted by Aly. She had such a great energy about her and her laughter is totally contagious. She worked with me to find my current insurance and went above and beyond. She was so happy to help and it was so genuine I absolutely loved it!!! She gave me some advice on how the process works and she along with everyone else complied with COV19 policies by wearing masks, wiping down surfaces etc. She is amazing!I then met Dr. Troiani to get my glasses. I loooooooved them! She ordered them and said she’d call me when they come in. Once they arrived she did what she promised and called me.I came in and both her and Aly were there. Jessica sat me down, not before wiping down all the surfaces, and brought the glasses to the table. These are by far my favorite pair of glasses I’ve had in my entire life. When I tried them on she called Aly to come over. They both gave me compliments and were super excited. It was like a party in that place.This is by far the best experience I’ve had in any Pearle Vision. Hands down the best experience I have had! The Minnetonka location has great employees that greet you with smiling faces and positive attitudes, extremely friendly! I was asked multiple times if I wanted coffee or water. Jessie was patient and knowledgeable when helping me pick out glasses. Dr. Anderson took his time in caring for my eyes. Highly recommend this location, you will not be disappointed!

Pearle Vision was a great customer experience. Nice and courteous people that wanted to help and have conversation with the customers. Dalton was a great help in getting me a new pair of glasses. He knew a lot about the product and was having a good time too. Ill be back here for any eye needs in the future!

Kristina called to confirm my appointment a couple of days before the schedule. She had an early opening that better suited me so we rescheduled. When I arrived she checked me in quickly, did the pre-screen and got me set up with the doctor. The doctor was great and quickly performed the exam. I was then turned over to Jacob for helping me with new frames. He was the best stylist I have ever worked with! During that time Dalton cleaned and adjusted the glasses I wore in. They were like new when he finished.Great experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Pearle Vision. They offer the option to have retinal pictures taken instead of having your eyes dilated, which I thought was great - who wants their eyes dilated if you can avoid it? Everyone I worked with was friendly & easy to work with, and special shout-out to Jessica, one of the opticians! She made the arduous process of trying on new glasses fun & helped me pick the perfect pair!

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and knowledgeable! Its been a long time since I had an eye exam, and they made sure to explain the results of my exam and how my prescription would help. They also helped me to find the perfect glasses, which took me about half an hour because Im so picky; but they kept a positive attitude and made it a lot of fun!

What a pleasant experience! Jessy couldnt have been more helpful and attentive. Store was immaculate, one showcase was so clean I reached for a pair of glasses and didnt realize they were behind a glass door. I got a great deal on two pair of glasses and great service. Highly recommend!

Extremely knowledgeable team who were also friendly and helpful. They took the time to make sure we selected frames that fitted my face well and worked with the prescription. The pair they strongly recommended ended up being the least expensive frames, so they were obviously not just pushing expensive frames. The eye doctor was also great and he was patient with my many questions.I have an unusual situation that needed my prescription to be adjusted after the lenses were made. One of the owners personally assisted to make sure that my glasses work well for me and my situation.Thank you for your care and attention.

Exceptionally friendly, efficient, knowledgeable technician (Tom) and sales person (Jacob). Got several glasses fixed, a new set of prescription glasses, and did not at all feel rushed while looking for new frames. Clean, well-lit relatively new office. Been coming here for decades and theyre always up to date with fresh ideas but the same high quality of service. Highly recommend.

Phenomenal staff! They really care about their patients and want to make them feel comfortable inside their office. I was asked for help right away, offered coffee or water and I laughed with each staff member as well as the doctor working that day (Dr.Anderson).I recommend seeing Jessica if youre looking for glasses and/or contacts or go to her with any questions you have. She will help you find what youre looking for and what will work best for you! Amazing experience today at Pearl Vision Minnetonka! We were greeted right away and did not have a long wait to see the eye doctor. Jessica (not good at remembering names, so hope this is correct) was so fantastic at helping us from testing our eyes to picking out glasses. We had quite a few laughs and really enjoyed our time there. This is the best eye experience I have ever had. We will definitely be back!

Worst frames Ive ever had over the last 24yrs. Go to a small shop and pay the extra money for a pro to fit your frame.

Once again, I am very happy with my Pearl Vision experience. All staff members were very professional. I was able to get a thorough exam and choose frames that were right for me in a one stop shop event. I also appreciate the convenient weekend hours. thank you!

Appointment was available within 24 hrs. Staff knowledgeable and friendly. Both my husband and I had yearly eye exam, Optometrist excellent. Frame selection great. Great service. Already made appointment for next years routine exam.

What an amazing staff! This location has been an excellent experience every time I go! I am always excited to see Donovan, Jeff, Jason, Jessica, Ally and Crystal was there this time! I was greeted by name by Donovan as well! All 3 gentlemen are always great to work with. They provide great suggestions to suit your style. They have enforced an excellent Covid-Free climate! I have a ton of fun there picking out glasses each time! I also brought my daughter in to get glasses and Jason and Jessica helped and I ended up getting another pair because they both helped me find such a cute fashionable pair! We had a blast that day doing it! Now I can’t wait to go back every year again! Never been so excited to go to the eye doctor in my life! Jeff just puts you at ease and is great at giving a nice amount of options and suggestions and has a great eye for the perfect shape that fits you perfect! My optometrist Robert is really amazing at his job! He gets you in and out literally with a smile! They are super nice and helpful! I love this location. They are are always willing to help with all questions and great recommendations for picking out your frames. I get excited every time I get to go back. I highly recommend all of my family, friends & colleagues to go here!!!!Take it if from me, you will love going there!

Loved the great service at Pearle Vision. I have been a customer for 4 years and have never been disappointed. On my recent visit I worked with Maggie to get new frames and lenses. She was really helpful with offering different pricing options. I was also happy with the variety of frame designers they stock. I was able to get my favorite Kate Spade frames for a great price!

Amazing service. I had just left work looking like I just woke up and in joggers but the staff treated me so nice. That’s impossible to find these days! I was in and out and was able to pick up my glasses the same day! I will definitely be coming back when I need a new eye exam!

As soon as I walked in I felt warmly welcomed and comfortable. Every single staff member was unfailingly kind and I felt personally cared for the entire time. After my doctor prescribed new glasses, I came to this store with a bit of hesitation because I had never done business with them. However, the lady who helped me to choose regular and readers glasses was very professional, helpful, and of good mood.I am waiting with excitement my new glasses. I definitely recommend the store to my friends.

I have been to this location a couple of times and am always treated very well by the staff and doctors. Typically I dont enjoy going to the eye doctor, but everyone is so welcoming, kind and very helpful here. I would highly recommend this place to all my family, friends and colleagues.
