Worst experience ever. Major service mistakes and mess ups every step of the way to getting new glasses and contacts. I can’t believe they are still in business. Definitely shopping elsewhere once I finally get the glasses and contacts I ordered (if ever, and if they’re able to get it right). Complete waste of time. If you go here... GOOD LUCK!Quick follow up. Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, after finally getting my correct glasses, and spending hours (literally) ordering a year’s supply of contacts... of course I was shipped a year’s supply of THE WRONG CONTACTS. At this point I have to laugh. It’s going to be a joy trying to get this resolved. I don’t think a company could try and hork their service experience this poorly.

The Dr is great - very helpful. Staff that helps with contact and glasses is subpar - my contacts seemed great at first - then after a week or so - the left became blurry - took me about another two weeks to get in due to my schedule - and she said there was nothing they could do - so I had to order boxes for that prescription - I have opened to sets of contacts (brand new) to experience that I do not even feel comfortable driving - so back to my old glasses - can not seem to get anyone to work with me on this either.

I was very disappointed with this Target optical. I took my 6 year old daughter to get her glasses here and was satisfied with the people that helped us out. Unfortunately we had to replace her lenses because they got scratched and this is when we encountered total incompetency. The first time we went to get the new lenses, they didnt fit correctly. They had to order another pair. After the second lenses arrived, my daughter complained that she couldnt see well. We went back to the store to see if the correct prescription had been ordered. The lady who was there barely checked the lenses and said they were correct, and seemed to not believe the fact that my daughter could not see. The manager was there and did not listen to our concerns either and just told us to use the old lenses! We were really upset about their lack of professionalism and decided to go to another Target optical to double check. We went to the Target at Chanhassen and had the person working there check the lenses to see if the correct prescription had been filled. He told us BOTH of the first and second lenses had been filled incorrectly!!! We are really upset over this because glasses are very important for vision in kids. My 3 kids have all had their glasses done at Target, and now I cant trust if any of them had been done correctly. One of my kids have a lazy eye, and the fact that a mistake might have affected her medical condition is horrifying to think about.

I bought a pair of glasses and was unhappy with them. I looked at a few other Target stores and found better frames and Target Optical was happy to give me the new frames at no extra cost. Great! They even upgraded me to poly carb frames at no extra charge. Awesome! So a few weeks later the new lenses start to crack. They get a crack right at the frame, on top, and the crack grows enough to impair my vision. It was past 90 days since I received the original pair, but not nearly 90 days since I received the new pair. I go back to Target Optical and let them know so I can get them fixed, and they wont do anything for me.I am told, by the manager, that plastic frames can do that sometimes. She says she wants me to buy their protection plan and pay their copay to replace the lenses, and she wont do anything else for me.I had her look up the lenses to verify that they were remade as poly carb and she says oh yeah, that can happen to them too.So basically, they wont help me without charging me more money. If I buy a product from Target and it breaks, when I return it I get 90 days from the return to exchange it again. They dont go by the original purchase date. But I guess Target Optical does.So DO NOT go to Target Optical. Especially their Minnetonka and St. Louis Park locations. If your lenses are defective, they will not replace them even within the 90 day window. This is also not the first time I have had bad lenses from Target Optical. But when I had an issue a few years back, they fixed it.The customer service has gone downhill since then I guess.

I made an appointment for four oclock. Showed up ten minutes early to make sure Id get in on time. Its now fifteen minutes after the scheduled appointment time and the eye doctor comes out to bring ANOTHER patient back. Why schedule appointments if you cant even bother to follow them?

I went in to get my glasses fixed. The woman was helping another man, but once she finished she went right on to me, very nicely.
