I had an exam on Saturday and the team at the store were wonderful! The exam scheduled before me had arrived 15 minutes late, and instead of the staff “squeezing” them in before me, they took my time into inconsideration and I was seen quickly and efficiently. The doctor was great as well and I will definitely be back with my wife and kids!

The workers here really care about helping you find the right glasses. They always have good deals and help with any questions. It does get busy at times, but they manage it well and make sure to greet everyone. I especially loved the boisterous man and his adorable sidekick. I will definitely be returning to this store for future purchases.

I purchased two pairs of glasses from the vision works in ridgedale and the staff was phenomenal! Dr.Lin did an amazing job as well. The staff was efficient and knowledgeable and I am very pleased with my new glasses. I will definitely be returning!

Pathetic service!!!!We drove 45 min to reach the location given in email but got late just by 6 mins and we were rudely told that they cannot service us. We were late as the gps took to a different address as the addrees in email was incorrect. Who’s fault it was? Why did u guys sent us incorrect address?We tried to talk to store supervisor and explain but she was parrot talking the same thing as the front desk person. You r into a customer service business. U have to talk nicely. Both staff and supervisor were arrogant and rude. They need to learn their choice of words.This is store in Ridgedale Mall #249, Minnetonka 55305.I’ll talk to my insurance provider too that how can they do business with people who dont know hot to handle customers.Doesnt deserve even 1 star.

Had a terrible experience both times I tried going here.Showed up for my scheduled appointment and was told the doctor went home for the day. I took time off work and drove all the way out there only to get my business turned away.Last year I was unimpressed with the service of the staff and had to wait an hour even though I had an appointment. And had a hard time getting any help with buying glasses. I gave them a second chance and they blew off my appointment without any notification.NEVER GOING TO VISIONWORKS AGAIN.

This vision works is the best I’ve been to so far, it has excellent costumer service and I was able to get an eye exam and find myself a snazzy pair of glasses, the working who helped me was very nice 👍🏽

The staff at Ridgedale mall are amazing. I had my packaged stolen from me and they did not even skip a beat. They immediately started working out a plan to order the contacts and ship it to the store. They kept me in the loop and had a quick turnaround time. They are wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!! :)

Great Customer Service !!!!!!!! As soon as you walk through the door the staff is very helpful and nice and the manager Danielle was very kind and professional when she was helping me with my eyewear questions, needs and purchases...i came in for one pair of eyewear but ending up buying two pairs because of the stores great selection and Danielles wonderful customer service im definitely a satisfied customer 😁

Very bad customer service. The man was on the phone and told me I was late for my appointment when I wasn’t. He needs to be trained in customer service. Dont go here, I suggest going to another eye place for your needs.

I was in town visiting family and my glasses broke, they weren’t a visionworks frame but Gabe was wonderful and fixed my frame and replaced my nose pieces too!!The staff here is great, highly recommend!

I had my 1st appointment, and was very happy with the experience. Dr. Flynn was great! He has a quality I have not personally had in an eye doctor before. He took time to explain, & listen to concerns, & answer questions. Sam, the GM, & Yen were also wonderful. Each spent quality time assisting me in choosing & fitting frames, explaining the different options, & verifying insurance, etc. Ive found my place for all future eye care needs! Thanks to all!

Kate was very patient, helpful and thoughtful. She spent an hour with me as I tried on many, many different eyeglasses. Kate went above and beyond providing Great Customer Service at this location. I truly appreciate her and her kindness.I also would like to thank Samantha, (General Manager) who patiently explained the type/size that was needed for me and my line of sight. Stopped in quickly to see if they could fix a frame that lost a screw. (The glasses were not from Visionworks.) Yien greeted me quickly and found a little screw that fit. She was gracious and quick. Best of all? No charge! That builds good will and I will definitely look there the next time I need glasses.

I broke my glasses last night with a long weekend coming. So I urgently searched where I could possibly go for help to repair my glasses. I decided to call Visionworks to see if someone might be able to help me. The phone receptionist said, Come on down.I was happy to find help available and to see they had a technical area for the staff to prepare glasses. I was told to wait while they checked my glasses over. So I looked over many racks of glasses while they did their magic.Yen repaired my broken glasses and I was stunned. I didn’t know it was possible, luckily they had resources right there to replace the surround string on the lens. It looked and functioned as if it never broke.I was very satisfied with my lucky choice of finding Yen and the store first for help. Their work was very professional and rewarding for me.

Here in Minneapolis on vacation. I lost my only pair of glasses. I’m pretty useless without them. They saw me that day, I got an eye examination for $79 and 2 pair of glasses for $99 the Same Day. The doctor was a super cool guy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Saved my vacation. Thank you.

Great service. I bought a pair of glasses there 2 years ago, and I accidentally rolled over on my bed and popped out the 2 lenses and bent the frame. The gal servicing the fittings stations was more than helpful. She straightened out my frame and refitted them to me. Couldnt ask for better service!

The staff are professional and knowledgeable.However, My appointment was scheduled for 4:15pm on a Friday. I arrived on time. The doctor didnt see me until 4:50pm.Tips:Its pretty busy on Fridays and Saturdays.Glasses start around $150

Thank you to Eric and his team! I was really upset about breaking my glasses when I stopped in, but Eric helped me calculate what I could afford (since this wasnt an expected expense). He and his team also spent a long time helping me pick out a new frame. Now I have my updated prescription in my great new frames! A bad day made MUCH better!

I went to vision works because my contacts were out and I needed a new pair of glasses. I got there and the lady sold me 3 months of contacts right up front. I asked her if I could buy a pair of glasses now and she said I needed to know my glasses prescription bc it’s different than my contact prescription. I did not know it so she had to call them for a fax and while she was on the phone she kept telling me, I’m on hold and I’m gonna have to wait for a very long time. After hearing this a few times, I told her I can come back after my shopping is done. I come back and she hung up on them and never called them back so I had to wait another 20 minutes for the fax just to tell me that my prescription is expired and they have to have my contacts back that they sold to me and make an appointment. I was not very happy.

**UPDATE 05/22/19, I WAS contacted by customer service and offered a free vision exam.. I accepted and was seen there today. I was greeted by Sam, one of the managers, she was awesome, attentive and super friendly! Gabe also took care of me while placing the order for my new glasses, I purchased 2 pairs. THEY MADE EVERYTHING JUST RIGHT AND I AM GLAD I TOOK THEM UP ON THE OFFER FOR A FREE VISION EXAM. CANT WAIT FOR MY NEW GLASSES! Thanks Sam and Gabe!***********The worst of the worst, I called to schesule a vision exam and specifically asked if my insurance was taken, they said yes and I scheduled an appointment. I DROVE 40 MINUTES ONLY TO COME TO THE APPOINTMENT TO FIND OUT THAT THEY DONT TAKE MY INSURANCE. SO FRUSTRATING!

Dr. Flynn at Visionworks Ridgedale is very competent. He examined my eyes and immediately found a medical problem inside my eye which I was completely unaware of. His diagnosis was confirmed by an ophthalmologist (eye specialist medical doctor). I am sorry some people gave bad reviews because they were inconvenienced by the support staff, but the professional optical exam was WORLD CLASS.

Con: Customer service was slow - I waited an hour. Pro: The eye doctor was great! Pro: they had BOGO plus $45 off. Con: I picked out frames and was ready to place order with the discounts, and instead asked them to store my potential order and Id call back later. They lost my order! So it was a waste of 2 hours!!

I am so disappointed to say that I had a bad experience. I have been a customer for a long time and loyal to vision works. At my last eye exam I was told that my glasses lense was not correct (which came from vision works) I did not find out until 2 years later when I was up to renew my prescription and was wearing the wrong prescription when my eye doctor was concerned and tested the lense. I had no idea it was the wrong prescription for two years and hope it didn’t affect my eyesight negatively. Went to visionworks ridgedale today and they refused to replace a lense with the WRONG Rx. My eye doctor wrote down all of the necessary info regarding what it should have been and what her machine read the Rx actually was. Very disappointed to say that I’ve spent so much money on a company that doesn’t fix their own mistakes.

Worst customer service in the entire Mall. I called yesterday to confirm my insurance, I got a Yup, we take that. Then when I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I was not greeted. When I was asked what I was doing, (I was the only person in the entire store mind you.) I said my scheduled appointment. Then informed me I had an out of network insurance. This place is garbage, these people dont care about their jobs in the least.

I ordered a trial pair of contacts from visionworks. They worked, but not the greatest. I went back to Dr. Flynn and he ordered me another trial pair. The first pair were better so I ordered them. When I got them from Visionworks, they did not work at all. I couldt see at all. I went back to Dr. Flynn, who kind of scolded me about ordering them. He then ordered me another pair of trials. I tried to return the bad contacts, but he said to wait until I got the other trials and then we could exchange the bad contacts for the correct ones. The new pair worked great. I went into Visionworks to make the exchange and order the correct contacts, and the women said she couldnt exchange them. I have dealt with this woman before. I believe she is the only black female at this visionworks. The last time I had issues with her was when my daughter ordered new glasses and requested and paid for them to be shipped to her. They did not ship and I had to go get them. I asked if the women could refund my shipping charge and again she said she couldnt refund me the shipping. She stated that is was only $2. Only $2 adds up is you get it from all your customers. I requested that the manager called me and resolved this, which he did. She was very rude and arrogant with me both times. I am going in tomorrow to speak with the manager about this issue. I was ordering my contacts through 1-300 contactsm, buth thought I should give Visionworks my business, now I am considering leaving Visionworks altogether. 1-800 contacts with take any contacts that have been unopened no questions asked. Where is you customer service Visionworks????

Called to get an order of contacts and they said my prescription had expired, even though I had an eye exam 7 months ago at this store. They only did an eyeglass exam at that appointment...Ive been wearing contacts and glasses for almost 30 years and never had a provider only do one of the exams. Go someplace else.

Went in on a monday for an eye exam had broken glasses and it had been like 3 years since I have had my eyes checked. Anyways got done with the exam and they said about 10 days to get the new glasses and it only took 4 days.
