This was my first time visiting lush and maybe my expectations for customer service were too high. After reading for years about the amazing customer service at lush, I was excited to visit when I saw there was one close to our hotel. When I walked in, I was told to use hand sanitizer by the staff member but that was the only assistance I was provided until checkout. Nobody asked if I needed help or tried to explain any of the products to me and I was left guessing. I bought a few items and the girl who checked me out was really great. But I would have appreciated some guidance and information & any kind of introduction. The products I did buy are amazing though

This place is expensive but so worth it! I love the bath bombs and their sleep lotion has made a world of diffence on my skin and smells amazing!

My wife and I have been to several Lush stores across the country, and this location ranks high in our comparisons. In our visit today, the store was fresh looking, well laid out and the customer service is outstanding. We will definitely be back for a revisit.

I loved this whole body hand made beauty care place. The setup was that of an old school candy storefront, it hit you with an array of colors and smells. The imaging in this place made my senses run wild. I had to pick a bath oil, although the bath bombs looked irresistible. Im also a natural born girl and loved the hair care products here as well.PPS.Just jump right in and steer towards the most interesting thing that attracts you first, you wont be disappointed. You get to test almost everything and there are some demonstrations as well.

Everyone that works there were friendly and very helpful, a huge thanks to Mary Grace, who put together some samples of her favorites for me and I love each one!!! The soaps smell amazing!!

Staff is always friendly, helpful, and engaging. the store is a bit larger then other Lush locations making it easier to navigate especially when its busy. i enjoy the Fresh Face Masks, Aliens & Monsters FUN, Big Bang Bubble bars and Intergalactic bath bombs just to name a few. this is definitely the place to be for most major holidays to snag seasonal exclusives. we go here almost every time we go into the city. this is a great company with amazing core values!

Is it pricey? Yes. But you get what you pay for. This store smells like heaven. The massage bars are definitely a favorite. Also, they have this lotion scrub bar. One of the best things in the store. Definitely a splurge kinda place.

First time but shopping for a Christmas gift for daughters teacher. Staff very professional and extremely helpful. We will be back for ourselves next time.

This location is definitely my favorite Lush I’ve ever been visited! The employees are always very helpful (but without hovering), kind, pleasant, and truly seem to enjoy working at Lush. What makes my trip even more enjoyable is how sweet they are to my pup. My dog now looks forward to going to Lush even more than I do now I think! :)

Knowledgeable, helpful staff. My 1yo has eczema and they directed us to the perfect body wash, for him (natural, safe ingredients that replenish the skin. Smells & feels incredible). I recently had quite a few seasonal bath bombs arrive broken (online order) and, even though they didnt have the seasonal items in stock yet, it was very easy to exchange for other items in store.My 5yo has thick, unruly hair and their shampoo bars and conditioners make his hair soft and manageable and reduce waste - who doesnt love that?They often do demos and will let the kids help.

Im a bonafide Lushie and the Magazine St. location is one of my favorite stores of all time. Ive been to the Oxford St. London store and I think I might like this one better. Its wide open with tons of natural light. The staff is attentive, and helpful, but will let you shop.

We have shopped at Lush brand stores for years. This was our first experience at the location on Magazine St. The store was spacious, clean, and well-lit. All of the assistants were quick to offer help, and were very knowledgeable about the products. We were offered samples of products that we wished to try, and they had ample stock to refill products that we use often. It was a fun shopping trip. If you go keep in mind that the stores are heavily fragranced by the products inside, we have had friends with sensitive sinuses that had mild irritation for the first few minutes.

I was amazed looking at their range of handmade products the moment you go inside you feel so fresh with the fragrance of natural ingredients its just amazing I got lip scrub, lip balm, deep cleanse shampoo, seaweed face mask and I am so happy with all that.If you love using natural stuff definitely take a look.

Great customer service and I love the store setup. Very clean, spacious and welcoming environment. The lady that greeted me answered all of my questions and showed me where everything that I wanted was located. Will definitely be back soon.

Went here a few weeks back for a birthday gift of a ton of bath bombs. I had never been to lush before and was welcomed by an awesome staff and fantastic products. Was very impressed by the knowledge of the staff and the quality (I was told later) of the bath bombs.

Very nice and large LUSH. While we have them in Canada, my family wanted to see if they were different in New Orleans. We saw lots of the same stuff, which isnt a problem, its nice to see they are popular everywhere. Very friendly staff, clean and open layout.

Beautiful selection but a little too lemony for me. Ten years ago the products were more natural smelling and the scents were more appealing. Overall the staff were helpful and courteous.

I love lush! I prefer this location compared to the One in the French Quarter due to it being much more spacious! Lovely knowledgable staff to attend to you on your first visit, when you know nothing. Products are pretty amazing! I love shopping at Eco Friendly establishments.

OH MY GOSH!!!!! I love this place! The staff was extremely nice, helpful, and AWESOME!!! I purchased a shampoo bar and I didnt know which one I should get, so I ask which one would be good for my scalp and they showed me a few options, and they were FANTASTIC!!!! Now my scalp is better!!!!!

I found the staff to very attentive and helpful. I came in shortly before closing and I wouldnt recommend that you do the same but I did and they didnt trip. I was in and out before closing time—satisfied.

Stopped in for shampoo and conditioner bars-- the staff helped me find the right fit for my hair type, and were happy to load me up with plenty of free samples for other products I was curious about. Also grabbed a few favorite bubble bath and bath bombs.

Ummmm... just walked in and asked if they had any scents similar to musk. The girl said shes not familiar with synthetic scents, could I describe what musk is to her. Um? Ok, its not my job to educate you on general scents; quite off putting approach to sales.

Great soap. But way too much money. Wish I could use it everday. I use it for those ultra special occasion. All the other time Im a safeguard chick. Wish I could spend 200/month to smell like heaven. Im always available to sample products anytime. Just throwing it out there. I probally should start using it when I go out for job interview. My special occasion dont really make any money. However, this probably would be a must for certain professions.

Lush is simply amazing! Every Lush employee Ive ever met has been nothing but warm, welcoming, and professional. I especially enjoy how these employees dont seem robotic, and you can tell they enjoy their job! The customer service is some of the best from ANY buisness Ive supported.The products are of the highest quality. My skin and body can be quite sensitive to soaps and bath products, and I have had a history of struggling to find product that I can enjoy, and my body also enjoy. I feel as if discovering Lush was akin to finding a gold mine. I can actually enjoy good face wash and masks, and lotions and bubble bars without my skin flaring up or breaking out. I can enjoy amazing bath bombs, without contracting a UTI or having dry skin. Thank you so much Lush!**Keep in mind, everyones skin and body react differently to products. I cannot detailed enough how helpful each and every employee at this cosmetic Outlet is. I am a highly loyal customer that is found a new belief in organic lifestyle. When I was introduced to Lush as a man I was a bit biased about the idea of using items from a cosmetic store but very soon my eyes were open to the fact that cosmetic is only a name everything in their store ranges from organic oil-based soaps Two organic hand and body lotion to a lot of products For Men beard wash conditioner male face wash oil based male shaving creams which I for one am highly appreciative for because I have sensitive skin and will have an excellent Breakout from using regular shaving creams Ive had to dry shave since 1999 and this year 2017 is when I discovered Lush I do not have to dry shave anymore. I highly recommend checking out this store mainly because whatever price you see can be adjusted simply by cutting a little bit off or shaping it the way that you want...... speaking in particular to the Soaps but they also have many other items for brushing your teeth and soaking in a aromatic bath to shampoos body gels.... jelly soaps........ its amazing in there please at least check it out they have entirely changed my life. I give Lush five stars two thumbs up and the Semper Fidelis check it out on Magazine Street.
