When I was told my phone would need to be replaced I was distraught. I was so afraid I would lose all my pictures and everything else we value on our phones. I went to your store in Newport RI and Chris N helped me. He was able to save everything I valued on my phone. I needed to go there today to see if he could help me transfer one more thing and he did. He is an asset to your company and very knowledgeable. Thank you Chris.

I was working in Newport for business and my SIM card unexpectedly stopped working on my company phone. Joe at this store was so patient and kind and acted like a bridge between me and my companys IT help desk as we worked out the problem as a team. He was able to diagnose the problem and properly instruct me as to what to do so as to get my IT help desk to make the changes on their end to my account to get my phone back up and running again with a new SIM card. Joe went over and above by continuing to work with me several minutes after closing time to make sure everything was set up properly and that I had full phone service before I left. It was a lifesaver and I am very grateful!

This location is fantastic. Sabrina, the manager, goes above and beyond to help with all the questions. I’ve have a lot of questions as I do not know much about apple products. She’s incredibly knowledge and she is always there. I’m sure she lives there, haha. Best AT&T I’ve ever visited. I will never go to any other store.

My girlfriend and I went into this store to try and get her phone replaced after her phone broke. The lady who was working, I believe her name was Sabrina, informed us that my girlfriend needed to be authorized on the account, which I understand is at&t policy. We then asked for an 800 number to get her authorized. Sabrina then proceeds to walk into the back room completely ignoring us. Her best contribution today was giving us the name of a very good phone repair company.

I highly recommend that you ask for Sabrina. Sabrina was wonderful. She was super helpful. I needed a new phone (mine took a swim in the ocean never to be seen again). Sabrina walked through the entire set up process with me. She made sure everything was working before I left. She is incredibly knowledgable. Very friendly. I had total faith that everything would turn out fine. (Just as an fyi.. the last time I went through getting a new phone I lost some data, so I was a little nervous). Thank you Sabrina!

In line with a few previous reviews, I found the retail clerk, Sabrina, condescending and argumentative. All I wanted to do was replace a phone that was damaged. Her explanation that I could not simply buy a phone but had to agree to an installment plan, which is treated as establishing credit by the retailer, was unacceptable. Instead of answering my questions calmly, she said loudly for everyone to hear, Im going to make you wait then walked around mocking me. Seriously?! Frankly, she seemed to make up answers and I found it insulting to my intelligence. She should not be working in retail. I left the store unwilling to work with a person with such an aire of unwarranted entitlement. She would not even answer honestly whether the store was owned by AT&T or was it an authorized dealer. The fact that we are in the middle of a pandemic and she was proudly exclaiming she just came from a vacation where nobody was wearing masks suggests incredibly poor judgment as well.

I was just in this shop and they were unfortunately chronically understaffed (1 person). The person they did have John was flown in from a different store in Ma and was fantastic. He juggled 4 customers simultaneously and seamlessly, showing great courtesy and expert knowledge to everyone. Extraordinary service for any phone shop. The guy was a credit to his company.

First person I saw there was not helpful for my dead flip phone. She instantly sent me off to a repair place miles away and gave poor directions, never found it. All I needed was a new phone, she could have sold me one. Went back later the same day, a man (forgot his name, sorry) was there who was very helpful and friendly, and successfully set me up with a new cheap flip phone. This could explain the reviews being all over the place, depends who you get.

Just a quick note to thank Mea for talking me off the cliff yesterday after my phone was stolen—and helping me get back up and running with a new iPhone. She was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, fast, and efficient — a rare combination. Even though she sometimes needed to multitask with different customers, I never once felt like I was waiting, and she took the time to explain everything. She was even able to get me a sweet deal that I never saw on the web. Definitely pays to go into this store.

My fiance and I originally went into the store to cancel our plan with AT&T however, Angel, the store manager, went out of his way to help us lower our monthly bill. He also helped us fix our My AT&T app (we could have called ourselves but he wanted to make sure we were taken care of). Overall excellent customer service he went above and beyond your typical sales person and went out of his way to make sure we walked out satisfied. If you are looking for great customer service, I recommend this store.

He was very patient, helped me lower my bills, explained things that no one has ever explained and then even took more time with AT&T tech support to ensure I was able to getOnly the app as well as the TV watch app.Best experience I’ve ever had in this store. My old phone gave up the ghost on a busy day at work. I called the local store as I have been there and had good experiences previously. I called and asked a store associate about purchasing a new phone, getting it updated, logged on, etc. as I was pressed for time. He was helpful but referred me to his more experienced colleague. Geezelle was an absolute gem, a consummate professional who listened, understood my urgent, final goal, and gave me my best options. She was patient and courteous and very knowledgeable, and SHE made the experience so great that I am writing this, to let AT&T know what a pro they have in Geezelle. She was busy, and had customer after customer come in, and multi tasked like a pro to provide outstanding service. I would hire her in a minute, and you are fortunate to have her.

Lately, we had to use the services of this store several times due to some lost phones; new phones; switching phones between family members, buying phone cases, etc.Could not be happier - received a fast and a very efficient service from Joey every time to our satisfaction.Joey was very thorough: he made sure that everything worked before we left the store. His technical advice was spot on. In addition, Joey was very personable and friendly- great smile.Jonathan was very helpful as well.We do not understand all the bad reviews.We appreciate the services we received and we thank you for your help!

I went to the store after speaking to AT&T Technical Support because I needed my SIM card replaced. Technical Support had already credited my account for the amount of the Sim card (and added a little extra for my inconvenience) so that took care of the five dollar replacement fee I was charged (if you add $.35 tax it actually came to $5.35).Anyway I called ahead to make sure they were swamped with customers and to make sure this was a routine matter which could be done quickly. They assured me it could and they were right as I was in and out of the store in 15 minutes. I have to say they did a terrific job!Highly Recommend!!

The people are nice and hard working---but!!! Customers like myself are having to go back two or three times to get service. I had to leave after twenty minutes the first trip and waited 45 minutes to add $ 25 to my acct. While I waited a lady came in and had to leave cause it was taking so long. The ATT rep waited on me in the middle of waiting on Customers whose transaction weretaking over 45 minutes.

No this is not Tony Soprano but i just might turn into him. This store established a new low for corporate behavior. The owner, Starr something or other, legitimately lied to me saying that I would save money by moving to a new plan. I am a professional technical consultant and network manager so you can imagine there is not much that flies above my radar in terms of the tech jargon. There were details of the agreement she intentionally left out just to get a signature.After calling and complaining I was then locked out of my account so as to prevent me from utilizing the buyers remorse time period for returns. After the time period had passed, the account was reopened at which time they told me in order to return the phone and cancel the plan, I would have to return the phone AND pay $750 for the remaining balance of the cost of phone...explain that one! - In order to return it you have to buy it and then give it back to them for free...Not to mention she was stuffing her face with an egg salad sandwich the whole time she was talking to me. And she didnt even offer me one. Not that i would have taken it because thats just indicative of the inner grossness emanating from your person.AT&TMonopolizing Your World..../Life/Family/Job and leveraging your needs against you

They just want to sell you And if you dont, your treated even worse! Ive been a loyal, faithful customer of this place for over 5 years when it was on East Main/Valley. Ive always dealt with Ashleigh C! She was the only person in that place who knew what she was doing, always professional, honest!! After She left, I will no longer bring my business or any other business to this place!! Ive brought so much business to this place through clients,family, and Friends. And businesses!! You guys lost a great customer I will travel the 15-20 over the bridge if I have to, may even switch providers all around!! Close this place down!!

This place is the worst. There was a guy who weighed about 500 pounds who is completely rude to me didnt even attempt to help me reset my phone I suggest going to Verizon or another server just based on this customer service. There were only two people working and they were both completely rude. He smelled. And had the worst bad breath. Do not go there. Go over the bridges.

I had one of the best customer service experiences here that I haven’t had in a very long time. The manager Angel was amazing and super helpful. My mom and I went in to upgrade our 5s iPhones to get iPhone 8s. I was a little worried going in because most sales people will push the latest version and we didn’t want the iPhone X. Angel listened to what we wanted and helped us get our new phones. He was super patient with my mom who is less tech savvy and helped answer all her questions and also recommended tips to help her save some money. When we got there the store was relatively quiet but got busy fast. Angel multi tasked like a pro and didn’t leave us feel pushed aside. Another employee Colby was working off to the side dealing with more problematic issues but I could clearly tell was trying to do the best he could for the customers. So overall really good customer service and attention would continue to go back.

I have no clue in how this shop is still in business, I understand people sometimes have bad experiences and post them on the internet, but in this case they are entirely true. Most rudest people I have ever dealt with in customer service. I would assume minimum wage salaries because I felt they did not want to be there at all. AT&T needs to step up their game and pay for employees who actually care about their jobs.
