Ashley was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant to work with. She was the only person covering the store and had a line up of customers, which she handled with grace. She multi-tasked gracefully, answering each customers questions and reassuringly connecting with those waiting in the queue. She was absolutely amazing and deserves high praise and recognition for how seamlessly she handled the situation.

Good location, clean store. Came for a case for a Galaxy Fold 5G. Told me they nor Claremont had it. Felt like I was being hurried out of the store. I was dressed kinda like a bum, but, as a former college bookstore worker, I was trained to treat every customer as a valued customer. I was not treated that way, in my humble opinion.

Needed a screen protector. By the time I was done checking out Heather already had it perfectly mounted.Very polite and prompt service.Thank youOne more thing:Time to drop the mask requirements for those who are vaccinated.

I just bought a new phone and needed a case and screen protector. Ashley was very nice and answered all of my questions. I returned the next day to get a different case because I personally didnt like the one I originally bought. Ashley made it quick and easy. She returned it with no problem and even took the old one off and put the new one on.

The employees are helpful and sympathetic. Verizon is a terrible company that doesnt want our business. The Verizon app itself is very poorly designed. The only way to use it is to go into the store and have them do it for you, but they hate it too.

So we went to switch my phone from Xfinity Mobile to Verizon. We had some issues (on the Xfinity side) transferring the number but they did get it figured out. Both employees that were helping us were extremely friendly and barring the one issue that wasn’t their fault the visit was great!!

Ive been a Verizon customer for about 15 years. I use the store in Newport as my preferred place to handle my account changes, pay my bills and where Ive purchased a couple new phones. Dustin in particular has been a fantastic resource, but others that work there have done a fine job too. The service here probably the main reason I keep a verizon phone.

I had a repair done in Newport after not having speakerphone on my iPhone for over a year which was a real inconvenience. Dustin assured me that he could fix it for me and ordered my needed parts and setup my appointment when he knew when they would be in. Due to my busy schedule with my business he was willing to come in on his day off and complete my repair this week which was AMAZING of him to do.In the process of my repair Dustin identified that my battery was on its last leg and made me aware of this which I would of never known and he promptly replaced it for me as well.I never felt like he was trying to sell me something that I didnt need and he made to 100% aware of exactly what he would do and allowed me to watch part of the repair and explained what he was doing as he was doing it which I really appreciate. I have recently had the pleasure of working with Heather King in the Newport Verizon Wireless store. I was looking to buy an iPad and I went to their website which I found confusing and was not going to make the purchase but decided to call a local store. I found her very personable, professional and very knowledgeable about the products. Which to me was very confusing with all the different ipad models available. I had my phone screen fixed. The 1 day fix they say, did not happen for me. They had to order stuff. But service and people were very exceptional!

What a wonderful experience at Amcomm Wireless in Newport!I recently had a repair done (12/23/18) that I was told couldnt be done by both Best Buy and another locally owned business who both charged me for their time and was ready to give up when I saw on Facebook about Same Day Repair at Amcomm Wireless locations so I took the chance and drove to Newport and Im so happy I did!Their technician Dustin was extremely knowledgeable and straight forward and explained that there was a very slim chance that the repair wouldnt be successful and if that was the case he would do his very best to save my data that I was so afraid I would lose, well that wasnt the case!He fixed it and the phone now works better than ever! He also took the time to explain to me exactly what he did and tips to keep my phone running in top shape for the future and prior to working on the device he helped back up my personal files to a flash drive in the case the repair failed too make sure I wouldnt lose them.This gentleman also came in on his OWN personal time on his day off to make sure he could accommodate me because he knew how important having this fixed before Christmas was too me and my family due to the content I needed off of it.This was the first time Ive ever reviewed anything but this experience was so positive I wanted others to know about it and will tell all of friends where to go if they need work done.Thank you Dustin! and Amcomm Wireless Newport

Three fruitless stops in Claremont to get a screen protector and case for my new iPhone XR; stopped by the Newport store on my way home and was very pleasantly surprised by the service provided. Dustin Beaudry took a break from an order he was processing, helped me find a suitable screen protector and case, and provided cheerful, swift and expert assistance; all at a decent price. Nice store, great experience. Highly recommended.

Was met outside by man working, he asked if we were just there to pay our bill, we said no we actually wanted to switch to Verizon. WE WERE TOLD sorry the store was closing in 15 minutes, therefore he wouldnt have enough time to do that for us. How extremely unprofessional!! That definitely showed us just how bad their customer service must be.

We were in on May 29, 2019 to switch my son’s phone. He went from Samsung Android back to Apple which was a bit painful to get contacts transferred. Bryan was fantastic! He was super patient talking over our options to trade in his phone which was not yet paid off enough to get a trade up offer. We had to chat about it a bit and Bryan didn’t blink an eye when we ducked into DD to figure out what we wanted and were willing to do. He had iPhone options ready when we returned a few minutes later, we traded up to an iPhone XR and (after paying off the balance of the Samsung) he helped us choose a phone that is saving us money each month. I highly recommend the Newport store. Every time we have been in we have gotten top notch service and helpful information.

I had a bad experience due to product failure and then a poor interaction with Jeff the manager at this Newport location.The issue has been corrected by Catherine and Brett at the Claremont location. Brett and Catherine could not have been more, friendly, helpful, and professional. The only reason that I gave 4 and not 5 stars is entirely due to the amount of time wasted because I was unlucky enough to have interacted with Jeff initially. The rest of the staff at the Claremont location were also proved to be friendly and professional when dealing with other customers at the store. Which to me meant that Jeff was the exception and not the rule for these Verizon Wireless locations. A huge thank you to Catherine and Brett!

Amazing experience in Newport Verizon this past week just prior to the New Year.I went into Verizon extremely upset nearly in tears because I woke up with my iPhone stuck with a spinning loading screen and I waited nearly 4 hours for it too change which It never did and I was unable to turn it off or reset it. I contacted Apple and they walked me thru a bunch of options which none of work and their only option left was too send me a new phone leaving me without one for up to a week or more which wasnt possible because its the only means of communication with my husband who is currently deployed :(I was recommended to go see the tech at Amcomm in Newport by numerous people via my FB. Trusting their advice, I took the my iPhone in and thankfully their tech Dustin was working. He took the time to fully explain what the issue was and how he would have to fix it after the methods I tried and he tried with me together failed he explained my options and what the next steps would be to have a working phone again.Im not someone who fully understands technology but he took the time to explain it in terms I understood and what exactly he would do to my iPhone in order to fix it which involved removing my screen.My biggest concern was losing my personal files and my contacts but he assured me that would not happen and had me sign my device in and within 15 minutes I had my phone working again and couldnt be happier.He also took the time to explain to me how to prevent it from happening again and about current issues that are effected some iPhones world wide which I wouldve never known otherwise.I Highly recommend having your phone or other devices fixed at Amcomm Wireless!! Wonderful experience from start to finish.
