WARNING !!!Trevor Hogan should be in jail by now. The only reason he is not is because the people of Ocala dont go through the proper paper work to hold him responsible.They buy cars from auction for dirt cheap and flip them. No problem with that. The problem is when they have a car they know they cant flip so they clear the codes give it a quick fix and TELL YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT TO HEAR.They will say they will fix it. They will say its not a big deal and leave you stuck on the side of the road with your engine or transmission blown and tell you it must be YOUR FAULT.I really wish my partner had done some research before buying from here because it only took me minutes to read what they are all about.Just read the bad reviews. Whats even more sickening is the fact they respond to these reviews questioning those who review them badly. We dont see your name on our customer list because not everyone uses their real name on Google you FOSSIL. Dont trust these people go somewhere with an actual warranty. And if youre already a victim contact the BBB.

Stopped by while we were out shopping for vehicles and was very impressed with the selection and how friendly everybody was. Ended up purchasing a BMW X5 for my wife and will definitely be back when I need another! Cleanest cars weve found in Ocala at small lots, no dealer fees and great people to deal with.

I went searching for a used pickup truck and stopped in at Motor City of Ocala. I walked around the well suppled lot without being followed by a pushy salesperson. When I was ready to look closer at two trucks I went inside for help. Trevor, who was very knowledgeable, assisted me. He by no means was pushy, he allowed me to test drive the two trucks. When I was unable to make up my mind he allowed me to go home and think about it without trying to make me buy a vehicle before I left the lot.When I returned the next day with my mind made up Trevor was not in, but Bryan assisted me and answered all my questions. We negotiated a bit and he assisted me with making the purchase. There were a few things I wanted taken care of and all were taken care of before the end of the day. The next day I found a faulty switch in the door panel. When I called Bryan he said bring it right in. I did and it was taken care of within 15 minutes.It was a pleasure doing business with both of the owners at Motor City of Ocala. Definitely a 5 star dealership.

This is definitely an awesome place to buy a vehicle from or at least to check out and see what they got. I am a first time car buyer and do not have a lot of experience at looking at or buying a new vehicle. Right off the bat the salesman here are nice and helpful. One of the guys here, Tom I believe his name was, helped me with every step of the way. From helping me look for a vehicle that I wanted to get to helping me figure out how i can get financing for it too. He wasn’t pushy or rude or anything like that. But not only that, they also have some good deals on a lot of their vehicles here too. This dealership is a good place to check out and the people working here are awesome too. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a good vehicle with a good price and not wanting to deal with pushy salesman, to definitely check this place out first.

Ive experienced many used car dealerships over the years and not a fan. Motor City of Ocala showed that you can be a used car dealership with class. We made the drive from Jacksonville to purchase a car from them after we received so much help. I ask a ton of questions and they answered every single one. When we arrived I figured thats when the pressure would begin but it never happened. Everyone was so nice. There was also no pressure to purchase anything additional. In all of my years this has been the best experience ever and I would highly recommend this dealership. I couldnt find anything wrong and the place was spotless, even the restrooms. This is the way to run a business!!! You guys outdid yourselves!! Thank you for such a pleasant experience. Well be back.

Had inquired on a truck I was interested in. Salesman Thomas contacted me. Told I had a vehicle to trade in as a down payment. Sent pics of my vehicle as requested and would get back to me. That was a Monday. Come Tuesday nothing. Wednesday I get a text from Thomas stating the vehicle had sold while he was off and if another one comes in like it he would contact me. When you have a lead that wants to bring you business you tend right away and work on it and communicate. ( I was a car salesman before so I know). Either you don’t care to make money or don’t want business. I give small business benefit of the doubt to do business. Should of handed deal to someone else to take over on your day off or contacted me the same day we spoke. I will stick to the big dealerships instead of these small places. I do not recommend this place.

I have been looking for a larger vehicle for my wife since we are expecting our second child any day now. We were almost on the verge of giving up until we came across Motor City of Ocala. They had a 2012 Honda Pilot available that also had DVD for my daughter(s) to enjoy on while we are on the road. Trevor was the one who attended me and he has been very patient with my car buying experience. Ive been in the customer service / sales field for the last 13 years. Trevor not only exceeded my expectations on how a sales rep should treat a customer. He made me feel welcome without feeling pressured into buying. They refused to send my title after I paid in full (actually overpaid) they werent going to refund my overpayment untill I brought it up, and could only get excuses about the title untill I went through the compliance office they informed me they were lying and then reached out to them, forcing them to send me the title and $250 overpaid all together for hidden fees. Dont buy from here, they might seem nice but they are pine Ave trash like the rest.

We bought a 2006 scion the carfax was fine but and the car felt good but it turns out that apparently the car has something wrong with the transmission that only pulls 3 gears and not 4 as it is supposed to after 40 miles unfortunately we bought the auto cash and now we have a double problem with a car that we have to invest more money to fix instead of being able to enjoy the quietly that we bought it for...the business seemed to be perfect but we were not informed about this problem that the car had

I was helping my niece look for her first car, and Mickey made the whole process simple and easy for her. Which was especially nice because it was her first time shopping for a car. Mickey walked her through each step and took her time to explain and go over her loan terms and even helped her deal with her insurance. Mickey was an absolute doll! Because of negative experiences I have had at other independent car lots, I was hesitant to visit Motor City when I saw they had a car I was looking for. However, because of Mickeys great phone personality, I decided to give them a chance. Mickey was sweet and helpful on the phone and emailed me a CarFax within minutes of promising it to me. She also offered to hold the car for me since I was coming from a distance away. She was just as nice in person. She gave us plenty of time to test drive the car on our own and privacy to talk. There was no high pressure selling, just friendly conversation.Also, there were no nasty surprises with the car: we got what we were promised. Saw a car I liked for my wife went to check it out and instantly wanted it. They noticed the car wouldnt start because of a sensor issue. They saw the problem and brought it to my attention most other places wouldnt have done that or even cared to address it he had it fixed out of pocket. These guys are very respectful and very easy going not pushy like most dealerships around here needless to say that month I went back and bought 2 more cars from them and have been referring everyone to them. These vehicles are generally bought from auction & are wholesale ready. If youre expecting a retail ready product youll be disappointed. But if youre careful & know what youre doing, are prepared to accept blemishes & ready to do some work, you might find a gem among these rough stones.
