Well, Doug isnt paying for this review, not with money, but with unexpectedly exceptional service.About 3 months ago, my wife and I were delighted when we purchased a new mattress from Mattress Direct of Ogden. Sleeping on it was like being in the clouds without the haze! After a while the mattress began to feel lumpy and we peeled off the sheets and mattress cover to find out what happened. Somehow separation inside the mattress had occurred.We searched our receipts file and couldnt locate the mattress receipt. Now what? Coming to the end of the year, we decided to talk with the folks where we bought it.We were treated well by Josh, the owner. He had no qualms about addressing the problem. He made arrangements for the replacement mattress and told us hed call before he brought it. That was just before the end of the year.This morning, January 2, 2021, Matthew called to let us know that Josh would deliver the mattress about 4:30pm. And thats exactly what he did! Wow! What great timing!He brought it himself, helped us swap the two mattresses and carried the old mattress out on his shoulder! Awesome!Were impressed with the people that make Mattress Direct of Ogden work! Matt, Josh, Candace (I hope I got her name right) have made all of our interactions so fantastic that we wish it was a grocery store so we could see them more regularly. But, how often do you buy a new bed or mattress? These are good folks with good products. Theyll treat you right.

Unavailable in any way possible: store opens and closes whenever, once its open, no one is in the store. Waste of time!

I was looking for a full size mattress and box spring and came across Mattress Direct of Ogden. Made a quick appointment and was greeted with kindness and genuine customer care. I was shown multiple options and it was very easy to make my choice. Price was very reasonable and delivery was optional. Mattress has a warranty and Mattress protectors are available. I am grateful to have found them and would do business again in the future if needed. I recommend them to anyone. Thank you.

Great deal, great mattress. I wasnt looking for the cheapest mattress, just a good one. My wife and I spent about an hour moving from mattress to mattress. We returned about a month latter and he remembered and honored the discount he had offered us on our first visit.Id go back again.

Great deal for a mattress and they are willing to work with you! Great customer service and very fast and efficient. They also don’t try to up-sale you like all the other mattress shops.The mattress is very comfortable and a lot better quality than anything at mattress firm or Ashley home furniture, and it’s still cheaper than either of those places!Also for the people who say that “they got bait and switched”. Don’t believe a word they say these guys are very honest and have integrity! The bed I got was the exact one I picked out in the store.So before you go drop $3000 else where on a set up maybe go check these guys out! They will be able to save you money!

They lied about prices and what mattresses they offer. The ads they run across the internet are scams and don’t represent the actual prices or products.

Its basically a bait and switch operation... They sell mostly these black diamond mattresses that are something like $3000 on the website but theyll give it to you for the amazing price of $1000, but actually they are not very comfortable and comparable to other $1000 or less beds. You can only buy these beds from similar direct-from-the-warehouse sellers.The guy behind the counter was pleasant enough, but we left pretty quick and would not recommend buying a bed here under any circumstances. Plus no returns if you dont like the bed.

Short story, the bed we liked we signed for. they called me A-day later telling me its no longer available and trying to get me into a different Mattress.

I found Mattress Direct of Ogden a pleasant place to do business with and highly recommend them based on my personal experience.My wife and I bought an Opal Pillow Top Queen here: a suitable upgrade to our very old, rigid mattress. They charged us another $50 for a box spring and $50 for a frame. Its been four months now and the mattress is holding up great: I have absolutely no complaints about it.These guys are either master salesmen or pretty honest folks: the service was good, relatively upfront, and I didnt feel upsold at all. We got our whole setup for cheaper than anywhere else we looked—even cheaper than Deseret Industries, mind you—so its hard to feel cheated. Mattress Direct will also deliver your order for a fee if you dont have any friends with a truck.Update: Two years later and the mattress is still holding up great!

Horrible company to do business with, bait and switched me. Tried one mattress in showroom got one as hard as a rock. Was told upon asking about it to bad, you bought you own it. Id surely like to find out who actually owns the company. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY IT HAS NO INTEGRITY.
