Debra, the manager, is an awesome on-site manager! While this is an older facility it is always as clean as possible and feels very, very safe!

Very nice and good friendly lady runs this storage. Insurance for first month, disc keys needed, can buy there, large facilities. Great location for me.

Need a storage unit they have great cheap prices and they are secure and I love Debbie even tho I only know her over the phone shes a superb manager

Ive been a customer here for about 6 months now & im very pleased. The prices are great & the storage facility is always very clean. The manager lives on site & is a sweetheart. Shes very helpful whenever I need anything. I do wish the gates stayed open longer daily but its nice that they do close & stay locked. Ive never had any problems here.

We have rented a unit for 3 and 1/2 years, and Debra has been great. She is very personal, the property is always clean, and I have even gotten a phone call the last day before my rent became late to remind me to pay, so that I wouldnt get late fees. I haven’t stopped with this location, but had to deliver next door to this location. Upon arriving, I noticed one of their uhual trucks parked in front on the business I was to deliver to. I called the storage office to get the truck moved (which was parked on private property, not their own), and the lady working there hung up me, ave then when she came out, and I tried to explain the situation, started using awful language, ave being hateful . Of I could rate this location a zero star, I certainly would. Absolutely terrible representation of American Self Storage.

The reason I rented from American Self Storage was the minute I drove up to the property I was greeted by the manager Deborah .Deborah was very helpful in helping me determine what size storage I needed . She was friendly and professional and made the process of renting a storage painless and smooth. I would highly recommend American self storage . I rented a storage unit for 2 months. When the 3 month came I went to remove my lock cause I no longer needed it. However I wasnt allowed access to my storage unit so I left the only thing in it which was a table and left the key in the drop box since I couldnt remove the lock. I called and left a voicemail letting them know that the key was in the box. They never called me back. This was in 2014..Now all of a sudden in 2018 they say I owe them $650 .....they will charge you for nothing. I will report this to bbb for scamming customers out of money.Yeah you didnt cause it was under my husbands name who has a different name then me. So yes this is true this place is the biggest joke. They are 100% liars. I have proof!

Hey I am Durand I have been rent the storage here in American self storage since 2month already and just wanna lets u know guy there is on person at this storage who I am really proud of her cause she treat people right and so nice with the costumer since I rent the storage she is always there for everybody just to helps.. I love doing business with DEBRA HERNANDEZ. Its been almost two years since my partner and i needed the storage unit, and we have had our share of late payments over the course of a rough split. Long story short ive moved alot and started and restarted my life over again, but the one person i could count on to be consistent and fair is DEBRA. life is not easy and its not fair but it sure helps to have a person who you can tell loves their job and truly cares about people . i needed to take the time to say thank you to a true SHERO of OKLAHOMA CITY AMERICAN SELF STORAGE. She is the main reason i keep my belongings there to be truthful . so this is me giving credit where credit is due,,,,(its hard to find stellar customer service, but even harder to find a person that can genuinely pull it off balancing work duties and people skills !!!!!TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, DEBRA HERNANDEZHAS MASTERED THE ART

THIS IS THE MOST HORRIBLE STORAGE FACILITY IN OKLAHOMA CITY...  I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO MOVE HERE...This storage facility has rats and mice that take over your unit.  Move your stuff in and come back 2 months later and mice will be in every other box.  The Manager is very unprofessional.  They charge unnecessary fees.  If you rent more than one unit, they lock up all of your units even if youre up to date on payments.  This should not be a U-Haul Approved facility.  Storages Also leak water bad.  Dont try to clean your storage out and throw anything away because hogg have to take your trash with you.  There trash can is locked up.

My experience with Deborah from the 1st call to the closing of my storage unit has been great and without issue or drama. I recently needed to rent a storage unit due to an unexpected cross country move and the word stress didnt begin to cover it. Deborahs knowledge of the job, honesty & real professionalism helped to wind down what started out to be a true nightmare of a move, to a smooth finish. I rented a 10x15 unit, it was very clean, locked up tight,and behind a locked gate. I highly recommend American Self Storage with manager, Deborah located at SW 89th St OKC.Linda Thiessen
