Recently I was introduced to MaxTool and a very unique sales person. His name is Jesse and he is amazing. I ordered a tool from a competitor (first mistake) only to find out after nearly two weeks of waiting and being promised the tool within two days, they didnt have the tool in stock. Short story, I cancelled the order and called MaxTool, talked to Jesse who told me they had my tool in stock and would arrive within a few days. It did. What makes Jesse amazing is his enthusiasm and passion for his work. Its hard to find that on the Internet business platforms. He keeps his promises and provides you with an enjoyable journey at the same time. For a purchasing experience that will make you smile, thankful at the same time and convinced you are appreciated for your purchase, call Jesse. At first I was worried about my order with this company due to the fact I didn’t get any confirmation email on my order. Several days later I finally text chat with the company and immediately I got a response from Briana with my order receipt and the FedEx tracking number which shows the item would be delivered today!!! Dam!! What Service!!! First of all, I live in Hawaii and everyone knows how complicated it is to ship any big/large items to the islands!! It’s usually “Sorry we don’t ship to Hawaii”!! But not this company!! They shipped it out the next day!!! No question asked!! Now that’s FAST service!!! The cost of shipping was fair considering the large and heavy item I ordered, but to have it here in two days is insane!! VERY HAPPY with this company!! Will be definitely ordering again…. Im not sure about Max Tools business philosophy, but I am sure of one of their employees, Jess Hurt. One of the best internet purchases I have ever had. Jess left me with a feeling that the purchase was not all about the sale, but the customer. It is refreshing to know that their are employees who are working for a purpose and not profits. The ISP wont let me download the receipt because they cannot verify that the download doesnt contain a virus. Do you have any information on this? My husband purchased a DuroMax xp13000E from Maxtools back in May to replace our 05 Generac 10500 surge and 7500 which was starting to show its age. We had a 7hour electrical outage due to a lightening storm, and Steve was FINALLY able to give the generator its maiden test. The generator worked flawlessly! On the old generator we had to shut the A/C (which aint happening in coastal Texas) or the well since generator could hold the load but it was the SURGE that blew breakers. When the A/C kicked on the DuroMax grunted a little and ran flawlessly when the well kicked in. Jesse Hurt was the salesman that talked with Steve, taking his time, and explaining all the questions, Steve asked. I can highly recommend this generator, if you live in the boonies AND like to be comfortable with no worries. Talk with Jesse hes the man with all the answers.

I purchased a generator from the company through Amazon but it had no key or Manuel. I called and had the fortune of speaking to KB who made it far too simple of a fix. They can’t even ship the number of items in stock correctly. Ordered 5 items, one on back order which I knew when I placed the order. I received only 3 of the 4 items in stock which took a week (and FedEx missed their delivery date). When contacted, they thought they shipped the 4 items and instead of shipping the in stock item right away, they open up an “investigation”. Their email says someone will contact you shortly. 5 days later, no contact from them. Contacted them myself and they said the person assigned the case will contact me in an hour. They never called back. It took an extra 2 weeks to get an item in stock, shipped. They are NOT customer focused. I won’t be buying from these guys again.

Deceptive internet advertising. Advertised a Honda Inverter Generator Parallel Kit that was on a Fourth of July Sale. The picture in the advertisement showed and EU2200i linked to an EU2200iC and a happy couple running their RV off of these 2 generators. MaxTool sent 2 of the same i model generators and not the C Companion generator. I was forced to pay an additional $100 for their mistake to swap out for the correct generator. It took daily phone calls for 2 weeks with each representative promising to make it right but then doing nothing. Its not worth the stress and aggravation to save a few bucks.

Since Max Tool opted not to post the review that I wrote on their websiteregarding one of their products, I thought Id rewrite the review on this site... I purchased a Ventamatic CX1801HUB 18-Inch 3500-Cfm Ducted Whole House Fan w/ WiFi from Max Tool. I was excited to receive this whole house fan but was extremely disappointed when I received it. Almost every component is either damaged or so poorly made that theres no way I can install this system. The foam tape used to seal the damper box has huge gaps and doesnt stick properly. The dampers wont close properly. The ducting does not have any insulation for noise reduction and the fan housing is dented. I could go on but whats the point…. Max Tool was helpful with facilitating my return so this review is about the product they sell and not their customer service. If they would have allowed my product review on their website, I would not have posted it here.

I had an older Duromax 10,000 generator that had been used a lot, and finally wore out some parts, plus someone using it had hooked it up incorrectly and burned some parts up. I hated to scrap it, but after much effort, could not find the parts I needed. I talked to Bandon B. at Maxtool, who went out of his way to get me the replacement assembly I needed, and later went out of his way to help me find another part. The unit runs like new again. Thank you Brandon.

Second review this year, but a repeat customer since the early 2000’s when they were in San Dimas/Glendora. I ordered a Milwaukee m12 drill and there was a offer of a free bare tool with this purchase. Made the purchase but did not add free tool to my cart. When I called to ask why I didn’t get the free tool I found why but they’re sending me the free tool anyways.Really appreciate them not hassling me on a technicality and will continue to do business with max tool.

I was in the market for a some dewalt batteries... and not only did i get a deal on some free batteries with my purchase they shipped it just as fast as Amazon. Only thing that is a upsetting as a veteran is that they don’t have military discount. But I suppose a business is a business and not all are as giving as other to the veterans. We ordered a $600 product from MaxTool. It turned out to be defective. We were given the run around initially when we tried to return it. They claimed that we were outside of the return period. That was incorrect. Then after personally speaking with their rep, Sinatra, he made it sound so easy. He told us to simply return it to them in the original packaging, with all of the information written down (issue, RMA #, shipping cost amount)... and we would be fully refunded for the defective product as well as the cost to return ship. We did exactly that. Of course, we didnt hear back and had to follow up with them. Finally, we received a refund.... BUT a partial product refund... nothing towards the return shipping cost ($350!). We called back again to find out why. We were then informed of a 20% re-stocking fee. That was the first time we heard about it. It was never mentioned in the several previous conversations with Sinatra. I looked into their policy and found that they can charge a 20% re-stocking fee if the returned product, upon return, is examined and found to be working. Convenient, huh? We called back numerous times and were either put on hold waiting for a manager that never answered, got disconnected or could no longer get through to them. Our messages were never returned. After Amazon helped me facilitate a call with a manager, I eventually was refunded the re-stocking fee as well but am still out the $350 for return shipping. The manager said that it is impossible for them to refund it. I end up paying $350 to return their defective product. Why was I told I would be refunded then?

Long story and still not resolved but this company does not care about customers and if you are smart stay away. also they ignore your e-mails. they do not notify your existence with friendly notice they received your order, they sent your order or any notifications.they say they are FPO AP friendly well if your military stay away they know your thousand miles away and most times cannot spend time going after them.

Anthony Bustos the phone seller lied to me:1) Said shipping would be via FedEx (also so states on the invoice) but it is in fact a carrier unknown to me2) Said shipping would be from a warehouse in Tennessee but item shipped from Ontario Calif.3) Said shipping would be 1-5 business days but the carrier states there is 7-day transit time and the item will not even be in their VA terminal until 8 days after I placed the order, plus up to 2 more days for deliveryI asked a *lot* of questions about delivery since I ordered a generator in preparation for Hurricane Florence. Anthony knew the importance of delivery schedule and he flat-out lied to get the sale.I ordered from MaxTool because I wanted to give my business to a smaller company, but you can bet I will be ordering from Amazon next time: truth in their statements and a customer-friendly returns & cancellation policy.If you are thinking of ordering from this company, dont. Their website promises Hassle Free ReturnsWe give you 45 days from the day you receive your purchase to either exchange, receive store credit or get a refund. All you have to do is ship the product back to us.That is a lie. They sent me an air compressor that did not work and when I contacted them they referred me to the manufacturer, who doesnt answer their phone or return emails or phone messages. When I contacted them again they promised to send a return label but that was also a lie. Anthony got testy with me when I insisted on them honoring their posted guarantee so I am forced to file a complaint with PayPal to try to get my money back.

Ordered a saw from them, they claimed that the saw was out of stock until late summer, (it is February at time of review) and they said they emailed for a refund from manufacturer. A couple days later called back to check on the status of refund and they said they were waiting on the manufacturer to confirm refund. I was instructed by customer service rep Anthony to contact manufacturer of saw, which i did, and they (customer service rep Allie) said that the saw was currently in stock and ready to ship. I then called back these guys and they magically found that the saw had already been shipped two days ago. They currently show the saw out of stock when you check their webpage. Something crazy is happening with this company, i am apprehensive about what will show up at my house. They are very courteous when speaking to them on the phone, but their lack of knowledge about what is coming and going is not confidence inspiring.

Let me clarify, they are wanting a SS# from the person receiving order and show verifications. Wouldnt an ID or Drivers license be enough. That live outside of U.S. But belong to U.S territory.
