I highly recommend the Family First Vision Care (Pearle Vision) - Orange Park location. I was extremely impressed with Dr Taylors expertise and her patience. Shes the best ophthalmologist that Ive ever seen. It was evident that she genuinely cares about my eye health and vision. Dr Taylor and the front desk staff were very nice, professional, efficient, and the wait time was minimal. They exceeded my expectations by providing a positive, stellar, and a very pleasant experience!
Dr. Taylor, I might have that wrong, was great! She was very thorough and explained what had changed since my last exam in 2019 and what those changes meant. I left knowing more about my eyes than I have learned in the past 10 years! Then Tracy, who greeted me when I arrived and helped me when I was selecting my frames and the options for my lenses, was terrific too! Tracy recommended the option available with the Transitions lenses so your lenses dontt completely clear when you are in your car. Normally when you get in, they lighten ask the way and you almost need sunglasses, but this options keeps the lenses darker!
Dr. Taylor, and her staff was amazingly friendly. Tracy and Martha was very attentive and welcome you with their smiling eyes during this mask wearing. Please schedule your next eye exam with Dr. Taylor. Dr. Taylor is very patience and helpful in vision care. Awesome people at the Orange Park Pearle Vision.
This place was so awesome!!... When I first went there Tracy was so helpful, kind and professional she made selecting a pair of frames and lenses a breeze!!.. I had to go back because I had an issue with the lenses themselves and Martha did everything in her power to to address the issue and made sure it was rectified... Bottom line these ladies are the best at what they do!!.. Loved it and would definitely refer my friends and family!!!
Went to pearl vision in Orange park fl, and I must say the visit was awesome from the time I walked in until I left. I would totally recommend. My whole family comes here. 😊
I went to the Pearle Vision in Orange Park today. It was not a good experience AT ALL. The door to the store was locked. The sign said due to Covid and if that is the policy I m good with that, but what came next was just plain awful customer service. The lady came to the door and actually asked me why i was there as if it wasnt obvious. I told her that I was there to find new frames- she coldly asked if I had a new prescription. I said, yes. She then went back to what she was doing at her computer and said if you try anything on just leave it down. After about 3 min she asked while still sitting and chewing on something was I looking for anything in particular. I told her that I needed to replace my current glasses and that was about it. There is so much wrong with what I experienced today and I am thoroughly disappointed.Ironically, my current glasses are from Pearle Vision. My previous experience with another location was phenomenal! I was thoroughly disappointed with the way this lady handled me as a customer. She offered no help or suggesstions. My family and I have relocated to this area from another part of Jacksonville. Needless to say I will definitely NOT return to the Pearle Vision on Orange Park Fl. I will drive the extra miles and go back to the location in Regency that gave me phenomenal servicem
We very much appreciate the male employee who replaced the nose pads on a pair of eyeglasses! Although there understandably is not curbside, he was so helpful to meet us at the door so we did not have to enter the store. He was friendly and very accommodating!
IT HAS BEEN 3 WEEKS AND I STILL DON’T HAVE MY GLASSES THAT I PAID ALMOST $400 FOR! My appointment went great minus the fact that I was given a 30% discount when it is advertised as 40% off. But I wasn’t going to complain because I really just needed my glasses. I was told 7-10 days. I ordered contacts as well and they came as expected. I have called twice now and the customer service is HORRIBLE! I was told they were bringing in more staff last week and that they were behind on orders but they would be ready soon. I understand there is a pandemic going on and I have tried to be as patient as possible. I am a nurse and on the front lines so if anyone understands, it’s me!! I just need my glasses! This is my first time wearing contacts and they irritate me at times when I wear them too long in one day which is why I need my glasses. I asked for a refund and was told NO, that someone would call me back with an update! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!! And I will be filing a complaint with the BBB if this is not resolved soon. Pearle Vision will never get my business again!
Worse service Ive ever experienced, went to this Orange Park location w/ my eye frame & Rx for lenses last 12/7/2020 & Tracy told me it takes 3-5 weeks but after after 5 weeks called them & told me to wait for another weeks coz they have issue due to Pandemic & Tracy called me last 1/25/2021 & told me I will wait again for another 2 weeks & she assured me that it will come back w/in 2 weeks, so I went today2/92021 & told me they dont received anything yet from the lab in Beaches & she refunded thru my credit card the amount that I paid last year but did not return my prescription & Columbia eye frame & told me that frame & Rx iis in the lab per the lady inside the eye clinic around 10:20 this morning.

Update: just got my new pair this year and love them. Tracie helped me out and she was amazing!!! I was kinda bummed when Dr. Blom wasnt available for my exam but Dr. Taylor was just as patient and precise. Ive been coming to this location for about 5 years and will definitely be a customer for years to come.Dr. Blom is amazing! Hes quick and accurate. Always asks me all of the right questions and explains things clearly. Ive never questioned my prescription from him as I have with other doctors in the past. The other staff are always courteous and super helpful. Especially with helping me pick the right look when no one is with me. Thank you all!
I bought my glasses and contact lenses. The sales lady was nice, but she gave me a wrong information of reward program. Because of the reward program, I decided to spend a lot of money. So I called and asked why. The lady who I talked on the phone was the store manager. She gave me her attitude and raised her voice. I told her that I am your customer, why you are raising your voice? On that day, my fiance and I went to the store to return some contact lenses. The manager was there helping one customer. She did not even say hi to us. She had already closed the resister before 5 pm (The store hour is until 7 pm on Thursday). She did not even give me a receipt of refund. Because my fiance did not like that idea, he went back and asked her to write a receipt and her sign. Because of this very rude manager, I will never go there again. I liked the doctor. Very disappointed.
I want to thank Julie and Martha for their wonderful help. Getting my glasses in November/December was a pain but thats noones fault. I got my glasses and then contacts, having issues with the glasses they were wonderful assisting me on getting a new pair. Thank you for that, its greatly appreciated.

My daughter Emily and I were treated very well by all of the staff. We liked the technician Julie, who was very good at helping to choose the best shape of lens for our face shapes. She was pleasant, professional and knowledgeable, while making the experience fun, and memorable.There were a few glitches with the lab, and we are still waiting on one pair of my glasses, but the manager, I believe Martha, has worked above and beyond, to get things resolved. She has been wonderful. Pleasant, and conscientious, doing all she can to see that we are happy with the desired result. I have always used Pearle, and will continue to do so. I love my new glasses! Silhouettes are the most comfortable and flattering glasses I have ever owned, my daughter also agrees. Thanks Pearle!
Went to this Pearle Vision for the 1st time because it was closer than my usual Fleming island location. Will never go back again, worst customer service. My experience came from an older lady with glasses. I asked her to do something the other store has done multiple times and she said Im not doing that.. Im a pretty understanding guy because I work in customer service but this was terrible.
The lady with the glasses is mad rude and as I went to pay for my glasses she told me that the register was closed, it was 4:30 ish and they closed at 5. The Dr was a cool dude I liked him but that lady in the front with the glasses mean as hell. Definitely not going back to that location.
Would highly recommend this place. Went there last week after having a lot of trouble with blurry vision. The staff was very attentive and caring. Thank you Martha for all your help. The doctor was amazing. Turned out my contacts from another place was way to strong. Very fair prices.

Martha reached out to remind me on my benefits deadline and suggested I come see her as Ive never used Pearle Vision before. So I did and had the best experience. Martha made suggestions on my eyewear and I purchased at a VERY reasonable price. I received complaints from co-workers on my new glasses and I suggested that they make an appointment when you come to visit our office! Next, I need sunglasses...lol
I went to Pearle Vision on wells rd to find some frames as the place I chose to have my exam done didnt have a pair I liked. I did not have great experiences in the past with this location. When I walked in to view their styles Julie greated me immediately and asked if I needed any assistance. Im picky and I take awhile to choose, she checked on me a little later and as I found two pairs I liked she was able to give an about price for both. I came back a few days later and there Julie was ready to patiently assist again. I seen they have a new doctor since the last time I had an exam done with them and the woman at the counter assisting patients with exam check in was awesome and helpful to. I plan to have my next exam, contacts & glasses done here.
Had an appointment on July 7th. It is now the 28th and still no glasses, keep getting told next week every week when I call. Spent too much money to have to wait this long for glasses with no answers

Before visiting this optometrist, I asked every query known to man for fear of being overcharged. I gave my exact prescription and was assured my total cost would be the amount stated on the coupon, which I paid upfront. Once the exam was over, I was informed that my cost would be an additional $389. DO NOT TRUST THESE EXTORTIONIST.
Make sure you are well aware of your vision plan, with insurance they tried to charge me 200.00 for just my exams that was the price with NO glasses or contacts, absolutely horrible. I will be contacting the manager to speak about this issue, and hopefully my insurance company as well, because I smell insurance fraud. I am added this on a year later after all that I went through a year ago they sent 26.00 to collections saying my insurance company denied paying for the exam but I have never received 1 phone call for attempt to collect or received an invoice in regards to this bill. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR GO TO AMERICAS BEST THEY ARE AMAZING AND PRICES ARE RIGHT.
I disagree with the prior review from Tina. I had a great experience here, the eye doctor listened to all my issues I was having and actually discovered that my current prescription was wrong and that the eye doctor I use to see in Altamonte had given me a very strong prescription; his assistant was super helpful and the girls up front are very nice and helped me pick up the perfect frames within my budget. Perhaps it was the way the prior reviewer Tina spoke to the young lady ? Maybe you guys were already agitated ? My daughter has also been here for her contacts and I have never, in any of my times there, seen any of the ladies be rude with anyone. It sounds like youre just exaggerating. I was also told it may take a day or two to adjust to my new script and it took one day, I was told to call and come back if I didnt adjust to the new script. People expect immediately satisfaction and if they dont get it they leave nasty reviews. Well, too many times people only hear the negative and not the positive. This is a great store, the doctor was great and the employees friendly and helpful. Thank you.

I couldnt see out of glasses after I waited forever to get them. I had to argue with the up front person before she got the doctor to look at the glasses. Now after six months later, I still havent heard a thing about my glasses and cant get through when I call!

I used to love Dr. T when he was there. But this new Dr. Blom is awful. A 5 minute exam, didnt adress any of my issues. Charged me $85 for a contact fitting and all he did was give me the contacts (same type I had been wearing) let me put them in my eyes and then sent me to pay. There was no other exam after they had settled to see if they fit okay. You would think if I came in complaining that my contacts were making my eyes bloodshot, you would check to see if they were ill fitting. But no. He didnt. I am so mad. My whole family used to go there. We will not step foot in there again.
I have had nothing but problems here, worst place to get glasses and prescription.Just avoid this place.my left lense came with scratches and a bubble in the middle of the lense and the lady said that it was due to the laser and it was normal.

Doctor was great! However....sales staff does not and did not follow through. Gave them my old frames reluctantly and was told that they would be back by the following Tuesday Afternoon / Wednesday morning at the latest (this was on Friday the 16th of November). Called and asked about them Tuesday afternoon and was told they wouldn’t be back till Friday the 23rd of November. Ok, I understand there are delays every now and again. Went in today, 23 November 2018, and was told they should be in around 1 pm, and that they would call and let me know. 1 O’clock rolls around and they call at about 1:15ish....and tell me that “oh your glasses are at the Jax Beach Location.....You can go pick them up there or wait until “early next week”, as the courier we use has the day off for Thanksgiving.” I have been without my glasses for a week now. Not a we’re sorry, not a we will go pick them up and bring them here....was a YOU can drive 45 min to the other side of town and get them....even though they said they would be in 3 days ago! Also....I have NEVER paid this much for glasses.....EVER!!! Pearle Vision as a company should be ashamed!
I went in today for a eye exam, which was great. The Dr. was wonderful, the staff was vey inviting and friendly but the service was HORRIBLE! I have two pairs of glasses which are brand new, they have never been worn, so I needed to only replace the lens with my new prescription. Christine was my Optician tech and she made my whole experience dreadful. As soon as she found out that I was not purchasing glasses and she could not make money off me, she could have cared less if I was there or not! She even stop helping me and focusing on me to help the other tech find where they put glasses for another patient that was not even in the office. I felt like telling her I would come back at another time if she was too busy to help me. Once I asked her about the fee for replacing my single lens glasses, with my discount plan she told me that my fee would be $290.00 for only one pair. She never offered me anything else. She never explained what my discount plan would cover and why the fee was so high. I took my prescription and went to Eyeglass World and had both pairs of glasses replaced with new lens for under $130.00. They also sold me a pair of Coach sunglasses for 1/2 price. The money was not the issue for me at Pearl Vision, what bothered me the most, is that the Technician, Christine, knew I was not buying new frames so she could have cared less if I was there or not. I felt like I did not matter and I was wasting her time. I would not recommend anyone going there for glasses and dealing with her. The staff for the Dr. was great and they even had an intern watching, which I did not mind at all. I am a Office Manager at a Dental office and understand the importance of training. Very poor customer service on the Technicians part.
The doctor is kind, but the staff scammed me out of my money. I took the time to get an eye exam and a contact exam, and the trial contacts they sent me were insufficient. Upon calling to schedule to have my prescription re-evaluated, they implemented a false new policy which required that i pay for ANOTHER eye exam, since more than 30 days had passed in order to fix this issue. My trial lenses were not even issued to me until 30 days past my eye exam! Note that giving me the incorrect prescription was their mistake, and not mine! Poor customer service, they were unapologetic, and scammed me out of my insurance money for a contact exam. Now ii have to wait two years before i can get contacts due to their dishonesty and incompetence. Do NOT visit this location if you like to spend your money wisely! I definitely regret it.

Went into see Dr. Tabatabai and the visit was great and I could of not asked for more. Any doctors office visit can be a hassle but he and his staff make it fun and enjoyable for you.

I have done my annual eye exam and purchased both contacts/glasses at this location probably 3-4. times. Yesterday, I went in for my annual and saw Dr. Tabatabai for the exam. Initially, I could tell he was in a hurry and did not take a great amount of time (about 1 minute) looking into my eyes. I have a convergence insufficiency and have been in bifocals since I was 20ish. He immediately started advising me that he wanted to take me out of them because I am too young for those; furthermore, advised that diagnosis isnt true and I need to work on taking breaks during the day - i.e. looking away from the screen or book. Unfortunately, thats not the case. Since I was a child Ive had an issue with reading and getting bad headaches. At that age, I wasnt looking at a computer (maybe 2 hours a week) or reading books often. When I tried to ask him questions or just give him more insight into the reason as to why Ive been in those he would cut me off and just say I know. I quickly made him aware he was not going to continue to cut me off - Very unprofessionally. And no offense to him, but the eye doctor that diagnosis me is very well known in Northeast Florida and has been a family eye doctor for ~30 years. I trust his opinion. So now, I will be venturing back up to Pearle Vision to return the unopened boxes of contacts he gave me and schedule an appointment with another doctor. This is pretty unfortunate because I have never had a bad experience at Pearle Vision - until now. It only takes one visit sometimes.
Dr. Tabatabai is a godsend. I went in with eye pain and came out feeling like a rockstar. He was very attentive and polite. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. After my eye exam, I left with two pairs of glasses. I will glady be returning to this store!!
Called several times, no answer !Voice message DIDN’T state that they were closing early.To prevent a wasted trip, I called again. I figured they were busy & to get there with a note on the door saying they closed early!Not happy!Communication is key!

I went in to see Dr. Tabatabai because I was having headaches every day i was at work. I stare at a computer screen for 6-7 hours a day and have not had any vision problems until starting this job. His staff was very helpful and quickly processed all paperwork that was needed. Dr. Tabatabai was very thorough in his exam and at the end of it he told me that I could get glasses if I wanted to because i had a small issue with my vision, however, he suggested trying a few exercises before spending all the extra money on glasses/contacts. I tried the exercises and am happy to report that the headaches have gone away.Not only was Dr. Tabatabai very professional he also had my best interest in mind by not pushing expensive glasses or contacts on to me if simple exercises would work. While I waited for the doctor to finish another appointment his staff was very engaging and fun to talk to. They made a doctors visit, something few people get excited about, a much more enjoyable experience than originally expected. I have already recommended his office to multiple friends.

The new staff is rude and changed their story 3 times about why they couldnt give me my prescription then she tells me the laws changed because they are franchises and not corporate anymore. Than after a long conversation she says that she couldnt even find my prescription because they changed computers when they became privately owed. I called another store had no issues I got my prescription. DONT get anything done here. When I first came it took over 30mins to see a dr, then another 30 mins to order glasses. never received receipt, and I had to take off work just to pick them up because on weekends no one is there to fit glass....too much of a hassle!
My husband went to get information and to schedule an appointment. The person who was at the store was very rude and dismissive.
My son went dumpster diving around their and basically the employee was mad and kicked my son out. Just because he was dumpster diving to look for Verizon stuff. Their attitude is a idgaf
While remaining a fly on the wall at this Orange Park store I heard and saw a few off-putting things. For example one of the staff members was staring at a man with a medical boot on his foot and making inappropriate comments related to his weight. Wouldnt reccomend this place to my blind dog. This is mainly because he is a dog and has no real need for glasses.
I came in 1 day in full pain...and as i write this i cry... They could see the pain. Angels all of them angels.
