This place is trash, I made an appointment and tried to call to ask some simple questions and they wouldn’t pick up their phone for 2 days. I finally got a hold of them and they put me on hold for 20 mins. The lady was awfully rude to me for no reason. I would never consider going here and they deserve a zero star rating.

Rachel served me over the phone and was friendly, accommodating, and informative. Im driving in from Miami but I know Ill be able to get my new prescription in a friendly, familiar location. This happened in January 2021. The side where you purchase glasses...all very nice and manager accommodating. The appointment side where you get your prescription; one service rep is very nice and helpful. The other made fun of me to the manager (where you purchase your glasses) unaware that I was already in the waiting room. In other words, she did not know I was sitting there. In a very sarcastic voice, started making fun of me because I am having trouble seeing in my progressives. Ive been to the store 5 times and told them the prescription is incorrect and they dont believe me. I couldnt even read directions when making a recipe. My glasses have been sitting on a shelf for 2 months now. I hope they make it right....and they need to discuss customer service with the rep I mentioned.

At first when the glasses were ordered, everything went fine, $$$ collected, everybody happy, Two weeks to have the glasses made.Two weeks went by, no text, no calls no nothing, I had to call and find out that the glasses didnt pass a inspection, keep in mind that this is for my kid, I wanted to cancel the whole deal, my kid asked to wait for the extra 3 days requested. Mind you that I was told that if a refund was to be issued, it will be right away back into my bank account and it would take another 30 days for the insurance to reset. I contacted my insurance carrier and was informed that thats not true. All I have to do is contact the insurance again and have them give a new authorization to have them glasses made.So, I waited 3 days as requested from kid, and guess what, no glasses, it would take another 3 days.So, politely I asked to cancel the deal and have my money refunded. Their associated mentioned in a not so nice tone that it would take 30 days for the insurance to reset, to that person surprise, I explained to her that I already had got in contact with my insurance and that wasnt true. (Silence)... then I heard a ok no problem, your money will be refunded right away, I was like, thanks, by the way, cancel the other Two as well. (Silence again)... They lost a valuable customer not to count the over $670.00 in glasses alone and my family and friends will hear about them.

Good day. I needed new glasses as my prescription has changed. Mrs. Tina took the time to help me look for different glasses so I could have a different look. She took the time and helped me choose glasses that would look amazing on me. Mrs. Tina didnt rush me and she told me what my insurance would and wouldnt cover. The transaction process was smooth and I felt very confident in the glasses we chose.

As always Tina has again guided my husband and myself thru the maze that is our vision process. I could not ask for a more knowledgeable and helpful person to help us.

Dr. Hite gave me vision again! After years of being misdiagnosed she was able to find and correct my vision problem. I’ve never seen someone take so much interest and love what they do. Very grateful!

Poor customer service, they told me I was getting my glasses in 5 days charge me before I got glasses, and now they say they get here in 2 weeks after they said they had them in store. Unprofessional... BEWARE PEOPLE.

I give this establishment 5 stars because that is the maximum allowed. Dr. Hite took such care to ensure I was properly fitted with contacts and glasses that will best serve me. Layne is so helpful and personable. Tina processed my order with proficiency, and helped with my sunglasses selection, and she made sure that my glasses case suited my personal taste. Costs were very reasonable. I plan to return soon to take advantage of the BOGO offer ( my present to me for my birthday).

First, let me say that this location would have a 5 star review, had it not been for the experience I just had picking up my sons glasses. Weve been going to this Visionworks for a few years and theyve always been so amazing. Theyre friendly, helpful, and the doctor on site is super nice.That being said, we ordered my sons new glasses and spent a good bit on the Dragon frames. He was super excited to get them. I picked them up today and when the lady pulled them out of the drawer, I immediately noticed that they werent in the name brand case from Dragon. They were in a hard black visionworks case, and the frames didnt even fit in the box. The pieces that go over the ears were sticking out the sides. I told the lady that they didnt fit and asked her to find a case that did. She picked up a soft grey leather case off the desk and then acted like she was looking under the counter for a different case. I noticed that the case in her hand said Dragon, just as she said, Well, we have this one, but... and i cut her off. I told her that the case was the same brand as the glasses in my hand and that it was the case that likely came with the glasses.She just smiled and told me to have a good day. No explanation or apology.This is why Im upset. Every name brand frame Ive ever purchased has come with a case from the same brand. I think its pretty messed up that Visionworks is stealing those name brand cases and giving people the cheap black ones with their logo on them. And yes, I do believe it is stealing. The case is supposed to come with the glasses and they are trying to keep them. Please check if you order name brand frames, that they are giving you the name brand case with it.Shame on you Visionworks. Thats bad business!

We came in today to purchase glasses and have been having a run around with our insurance. We were greeted immediately. Madalyn was so amazing and helpful. She was super patient with us and helped us work through our insurance and find glasses that worked for me and my husband. I am so thankful for her help and definitely recommend this location.

Spent over $900 an not 1 microfiber cloth...my first time using this company.Optimologist Heit was great, but Vision Works store attendants were terrible. He tried to sell me lens cleaner among other supplies.. Im so disappointed 😞..

Had a terrible time finding somewhere to get my exam on my vision insurance. Everywhere else wanted to run it though my medical. Tina at Visionworks Orange Park was AMAZING. I went in looking to take advantage of their 2 pair for $59 sale and wasnt sure of the service I was going to get. I was pleasantly surprised when not just 1 associate but 2 worked hard to help me find the frames that were perfect for me. Layne was the one who finished the sale and between her and her other coworker made me feel comfortable and will definitely return and recommend family and friends to go to this location.

Dr Hite is a kind and gentle ophthalmologist. She listens and answers your questions. This sounds like it would be a given from a doctor but sadly is not the norm. The people in her office are kind and helpful. Then after your exam you get to go over and pick out your glasses from Tina or one of her helpful staff members. They are all helpful and kind. They really want to make sure you are happy with your glasses from picking out the frames to when they come in and making sure they fit perfectly!! Always stressing if you need any help or readjustments to PLEASE feel free to stop by. There is a heart behind what they do and it shows.

Came in to get an eye exam and new frames. The staff was more than helpful with my 2yr and 10 yr old girls, keeping them busy while I had my exam. They assisted in picking out new frames, and repairing my current frames. A few weeks later, when my daughter broke her frames we walked in and had them replaced in less than 2min. I love this location and Melanie was awesome in helping me pick out some funky frames.

I went to Visionworks to comparison shop for new glasses. Madalyn was extremely helpful with checking on pricing for a new pair as well as making sure that the frames I picked looked the best on my face. Madalyn and her coworkers took all the guess work out of my trip and I was able to get a fantastic deal. I will return in the future for new glasses as this has been the best experience in purchasing I have ever encountered.

I purchased glasses for my son and a few weeks after getting them we noticed a smudge was permanently on one of the lenses. When I was finally able to take them back to the store I was told 30 days was over and I would have to pay $129 for a replacement. The lady told me it was smog and because I didnt have a warranty I would have to pay. The lens was clearly defective. The manager came over to speak with me and she reluctantly and with a nasty attitude agreed to replace the lens without a fee. She advised it was over 60 days from the date of purchase and really isnt suppose to do this. I guess she expected me to be very grateful. I think a company should do what is right and thats what makes you stand out and build loyalty. I was shocked by her unprofessional appearance and demeanor. I will not be doing any business with Visionworks in the future. This store needs some customer service training starting from the top.

I don’t normally shop for glasses (maybe once a year because I generally wear contacts) but I’ve always purchased a back up pair for when my eyes need a rest. I recently switched jobs which caused my insurance to change and they referred me to a different doctor. I still go see Madalyn in the Orange Park location any time I want to pick a frame. (I also live in Mandarin now but I’d travel any day for better service) She’s beyond sweet, professional and helpful. I will continue to follow her to any location. You guys really have an asset with her on your team!

Visited the Blanding store last week and all the associates were so helpful and friendly. Madalyn was most informative and well knowledgeable when it came to helping me find my new eyes. Dr. Hite is AMAZING! She is very thorough and takes her time with all of her patients. Layne assisted my son and I pick out his 1st pair of glasses. She is super sweet, helpful and provides stellar customer service. I was a little irritated with the time it took to get an authorization for my insurance, however I cant complain about the service.

Me and my husbands experience was good. We bought glasses and the sales eyeglass tech Michelle made it enjoyable for us. I bought my 1st pair of glasses at the St Johns Town center location and I didnt get a lot of help at that location. They did NOT even offer me a protection plan for my glasses and Michelle graciously called over there to add it to my 1st glass purchase. She also fixed my 1st glasses since it didnt fit properly on my face and helped me pick out my 2nd pair of glasses. Needless to say, I think I will be getting my glasses at the Orange Park location from now on since their service is better. Oh, my husband was seen by the Dr. over here and he said that she was good.

I did not consider them until now . She also educated me about the 2 eye glasses promotion wich I took advantage of and was able to benefit with affordable savings. I walked in with my script in my hand ready to buy 2 pairs of frames. There were 4 employees working. I was never greeted by either of them. There was one other customer in the store (which 2 store employees were assisting because one employee was being trained) but the other 2 employees were sitting at the counter looking at pictures on a cellphone and discussing why someone was shot! I walked out and will take my business somewhere else.

I called before visiting and verified location. I was told on the phone I could receive same day glasses for most single vision lenses. Upon entry, I stood 3-5 minutes before even being acknowledged (1 customer and 2 associates). I guess they thought I came in with the lady in front of me, maybe. I had to ask about the sale after hearing high prices & then I was informed my glasses would take up to 10 days and they never do same day at this location. Complete waste of time! I went to Town Center & totally different experience!
