Thurs. Come in between 8-9 on Mon.Fri. Come in after 9:30, tech wont bein till then....Great!Mon. 5 min. from shop, get a call, techwont be in till 12:30...got to killthree hours..not worth the 40min. drive home, then 40min.back...get to shop at 12:40...tech gets there at 1:30, finishesat 3:30
Great service and quality work. Have used GERBER 4-5 times and I have always been satisfied. They are honest and professional, and if needed, I will use them in the future.

Theyre very nice.The repair was done in a timely manner. They finished, called said it passed final inspection and was ready.When we picked it up we noticed the front end panels and headlights were not aligned or fitted together symmetrically.They took a closer look and found a mounting clip had broken on assembly. They ordered the part and made the corrections when the part arrived.Im just curious how it passed the final inspection, but it was obvious to us there was an issue.We also, had an electronic problem with the safety systems. They shut off 40 min into a 2hr drive. They did come back on after an hour. Gerber was good about it. Tried to duplicate the issue, but couldnt. So time will tell.Time has told. Its been several weeks and now the air conditioning has gone out. Were now finished with Gerber. Were going to the dealer. Interestingly enough when I spoke to the dealer about our issues, they said all the body shops they deal with send the cars back to the dealer for the electronics. Perhaps this is why Gerber on more than one occasion told me Honda has to many sensors. Maybe because they have difficulty repairing them. Anyway I talked to my insurance and they agreed we should go to the dealer.Set the appointment at the dealer and while waiting for that the regional manager for Gerber called. He wanted me to take the car to a different location where he said the staff was more experienced and he would meet me there. I declined.So dropped the car at the dealer and got a call a few hours later. They explained the AC lines had been installed incorrectly and were overlapping ( touching ) so they rubbed together making a hole in one and everything leaked out. The dealer called the Gerber and told them what they found and surprisingly Gerber said they would pay for the entire repair. This after the regional manager said they might cover the cost of the parts, but at what he paid for them.So everything is fixed and Gerber flipped the bill that was over 600 dollars.So countless phone calls, a tremendous amount of time wasted and never an apology, but a lesson learned. If you have an accident dont go to a chain. Call your dealer and find out who they use. And as For Gerber buyers beware.

Highly recommend this facility. Great service, courteous staff, repairs return the vehicle in better than factory build. Difficult to match paint is perfect. Gerbers manager Jarod is totally focused on customer sevice. 5 stars is inadequate when rating how good this company really is.

When I walked in I was greeted with the ultimate of good customer service. And Robert, the Shop Manager was the most polite person I have ever met in the service industry. I was there for a warranty issue. My car was serviced in 2009 and now (2019) the clear coat was peeling. Robert and another shop person reviewed my car and Robert apologized, offered, and serviced my vehicle - no fuss, no hassle. The job was done in a timely manner and my vehicle looked like new. I High recommend Gerber, Orland Park and when the choice is mine, I will go No Where Else!! Thanks Robert for a wonderful experience.
They quickly fixed my glass repair within calling that day and they came to my house to fix it within an hour. It took them 10 minutes to do the job and the crack did not spread. Theyre great!
Pleasant staff that answered all my questions. They were patient and provided me with information in a pleasant manner and access to my damaged vehicle to retrieve my items left in the car. They were speedy in providing me an estimate of my repairs.

Excellent shop this is. Frequent calls and text about the process of the work being done. They detailed and cleaned the entire car when they were done with it. Paint job and work done looks phenomenal. I have been very satisfied with this specific location.
Gerber did an amazing job on my car when someone hit my car. I had front-end damage. The staff is courteous and professional. I went here after the shop in my town was booked up and rude.The turn around was quick and I got updates throughout. The car looked great! I literally dropped it off one day, picked it up the next. I highly recommend this business.They set up my rental car, too. Such nice people to work with, so relaxing after the stress of an accident!
Always have a great experience with this shop. Had a scratch on my car and Bill looked at it and said that it was paint transfer. He went in the shop crabbed a rag and took care of it. To me, that great customer service.I would recommend this shop looking to have any body work done.

I had a driver side quarter panel window that was broken. I went in without an appointment and the staff took care of me. They were courteous and professional. Overall it was a very positive experience.
This is the 3rd vehicle Ive taken to Gerber and have always been pleased. Great customer service and estimate was not out of line.
Great customer service at first, dealt with insurance, got maximum dollars for repairsBut when getting car back, no idea where that money went. Bumpers did not line up, quarter panel was still creased and not repaired well.A good body shop should know when a car is done and have a good quality inspection. This car we dropped off was for sure a job to maximize insurance money and not do a good repair. Will never take here again.The car also developed an issue with the turn signals. Almost like it was shorting, the car lost a lot of power when headlights were on with the turn signals. Gerber acted like we were crazy when mentioning this and refused to take a look at it.Update 10/1/17So after contacting Gerber they took car for another day and realigned bumper but acted like the turn signal issue was not their problem. They also kindly asked to take down the bad review posted on yelp. They were also nice enough to cover the rental.After getting car back a second time the bumper was aligned well but still the turn signal issue.I took a look myself and found that THE MAIN GROUND WIRE FOR THE REAR TAILIGHT HARNESS WAS NOT EVEN BOLTED DOWN. IT WAS TAPED OFF. The hole for the ground bolt must have been closed off during repair. I couldnt believe it. After more inspection, I also noticed 1 screw they tried screwing in missed the anchor and drilled a new hole right through the body of the car. I cant believe how this shop repaired this car.Luckily I was able to bolt down the ground wires and get a good enough connection for the car to finally act normal. Im glad I looked into this because the car gets driven about 100 miles a day and needs to be safe.Be careful bringing here. May be a good shop, but very bad experience for us.
