I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience at this store. The employee that assisted me was the most knowledgeable person about watches I ever encountered. I was so pleased with my experience I did purchase another watch. I orginally went to Jared for service and repair on some jewelry and left with a new watch and I could not say enough good things about this store and its employees.

Was given the run around for months about my Pandora charm that broke which was purchased for me as a gift on my birthday. For whatever reason they have no recollection of me coming INTO the store to purchase it and after being told over the phone on TWO different occasions that they would REFUND me the money for the charm since they stopped selling the line I was then told basically by the store manager oh theres nothing we can do. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!
Ordered a pandora bracelet as a gift for the bride ... totally disappointed. It was supppse to have a gift note congratulating the bride to be. When it arrived it came in a box.. there is not a store out here on the market that can beat pandora.. they have nice white boxes to store your bracelets in upon delivery. I had two day free delivery it came 10 days later. BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM JARED. If you wanna shop Pandora my advice is to buy it directly from Pandora.
What a wonderful experience. The man who helped me did a great job listening to what I wanted in an engagement ring and doing all he could to make sure I left with a perfect ring. Everyone is the store was friendly and helpful each time that I came in.
Update: I called back on my own and spoke with Donna who was very polite and scheduled something for me. I’ll upgrade this to a two star because of her, but here’s to hoping for better experiences. They don’t have to be over the top but at least pleasant. Thank you to Donna.I realize it’s not a good time to have your last straw especially during a pandemic, but I’ve had my engagement and wedding rings since 2010 and honestly EVERY single time I go to get it serviced I have NEVER had a pleasant experience. I just deal with it because one, I don’t have a choice this is where my rings are from. Two, I’ve been in the service industry my whole life. I get it. I get that sometimes it’s hard to have your service hat on at all times. I don’t need the friendly service. It would be nice, but it’s fine. I can live without it. You can be unfriendly, roll your eyes whatever. I don’t care, I just want to be serviced. That’s it and I’ll leave. This is what the issue is now. My Engagement ring is cracked about to break completely. Never happened before. So this repair is important for me to get done soon. I went to the store and saw the sign to schedule an appointment so I did. That was on a Sunday. A was told manager would call me as soon as possible because that needs to get fixed right away. This is what the lady who meet me at the door says. I called Thursday (today) to follow up. The woman on the phone proceeds to tell me it can take up to two months. What?!?! Like why can’t I make the appointment at least. That makes no sense. You want me to wait for a phone call for one or two months and then wait months more for the actual repair? So I decide to confide with the woman and tell her I just want to be valued. Every time I go there, it’s an annoyance for someone to take care of me. Which fine, like I said as long as my services are taken care of. Now they don’t even want to call. She called me honey and said we all want to be valued. I’m a lead customer experience specialist and I’m just at a loss. I can’t believe the way they speak to you here and not value you any longer unless you are going to buy something new, which I would never buy here again. I regret that this is where my life long important moment in my life ring is from.

Working in customer service for over 15 yrs, I take customer service very seriously. I took my ring in to get inspected & cleaned under my LIFETIME warranty (thats another story, but Ill keep this review limited to 1 complaint). Im HIGHLY upset that I left my diamond ring with them so they could replace the ones that had fallen out; and I was told..and I quote Come in ANYTIME AFTER 4PM TOMORROW [SUNDAY 11/8] to pick it up....I live on the Far Southeast side of Chicago so this is nearly a 1 hour drive for me. I get there around 4:30-4:45p on Sunday and THEY ARE CLOSED!!! Even though the sign on the door & their hours online say they close at 6pm! Why would you tell customers to come in at a time youre closed?!...or why would you close and not at least give a courtesy call or email to customers you KNOW are expected to be coming in to pick up their prized possessions because they expect you to be open!...especially when you literally told the customer to come in at a specified time. I could have easily come earlier had I known they would be closed! ...theres no excuse for this that I could think of, and cant wait to hear what they come up with!...I work until 6pm during the week so its nearly impossible for me to get there before they close at 7pm!...but given this experience, I guess they close whenever they feel like going home!
DONT EVER GO TO JARED!!!!!!!! NEVER EVER!!!!! Don’t ever go to Jared!!!! My 20k brand new ring (after 6 months of repairing and redoing it, arguing and spending DAYS in their store) came out like this with chipped diamond! And this is the SECOND RING. They had to make THE WHOLE NEW RING because the first they messed up completely!!!!! The ring is not symmetrical, setting neither centered nor perpendicular to the ring (with sticking out diamond), corner angles are different throughout, one side of the ring is dramatically (like 50%) higher than another one, even shape of the head is different on ALL sides!!!!!! Within first couple of month diamonds already started falling off. Jared resized my ring 3 TIMES!!!!!! to make it right. The ring I got is not even close to be to what they showed me on CAD images. YOU WILL REGRET IF YOU GO TO JARED!!!!!!
Currently at the location in Orland Park Illinois.Worst service ever. I knocked and knock before anyone came to the door and the lady was very rude may I add. Instead of asking “how may I help you” she asked “What do you want” very rudely! Any person of color should not shop here, I’m sure she assumed that I did not have money to shop here. I went to my car and watched; the lady did not come to the door when an African American came to the door to knock but when White people come to the door, no questions asked she just let them right on in, smh, I sat for 30minutes and watched and took pictures.I will never spend money at a Jared store ever.
The staff at Jared are always warm and fuzzy. Im newly engaged and I go in to get my baby cleaned regularly as I love the shine and sparkle the steam clean gives. The staff always goes nuts about my ring (well HE DID do an AMAZING job picking it.. Its beautiful) and asks details of out upcoming day. They are as excited as we are! Thanks staff
I purchased an engagement ring here in August 2018. My fiancee loves it! I worked with Matt and Susan and they made the whole process very easy and relaxed. The best part is that they were not pushy at all and never even showed me anything that was above my budget. We had some issues with getting the ring re-sized, but everything is great now.
Great staff. Made it easy to understand the basic knowledge of jewelry. I was picking out an engagement ring. Staying within my budget. Staff picked out great options that were within the style that I was looking for. Made a stressful process into an enjoyable one. Also got a great deal on the setting as well as the diamond. Everyone was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely be coming back for all my jewelry needs.

WOW!!! I always like Jared. But THIS time, I’m officially in love w/ this store. The sales rep Matthew was AWESOME! I feel bad calling him a sales rep because I feel like he IS “THE Jared Rep”... Representing the store as a whole PERFECTLY!!! We came in for a repair on a earring and ended up getting an awesome deal “w/ care” on a anniversary upgrade. He wasn’t pushy, but understanding and PATIENT!!! He listened to our wants and knew the best thing for us. We are hard to please, but he found something WE BOTH liked... AWESOME!!! Thank you Jared for having such awesome people like Matthew on the team!
Walking out of Jared very disappointed today. We were exchanging a wedding band for something I liked better. We had purchased a $650 band and I decided I didn’t love it. We got $60 off the band due to a $100 off coupon we had when we purchased our bands initially. We came to the Orland location and found a band I loved! It happened to be $600. When we returned the bands we were going to have to pay $30 extra dollars because the sales rep refused to honor the coupon we had used. To pay more for a less expensive ring didn’t make sense to us so we walked out without anything. It was a very disappointing visit considering how we usually receive such great service from Jared.
It all started in April 2018. I was getting married my husband and I walked in and purchased my wedding band and his wedding band. My wedding band was “wrap”. They sized it wrong. I told them multiple times that it didn’t feel right. The woman laughed and said she knows. That this is her job....needless to say I went back the day after my wedding because my ring didn’t fit. She was wrong. She told me that it was my hand....They “lost” the 1,000 wedding ring for my husband. They never called me back when they said they would. Three days before the wedding I went in to see what the next steps were. They charged me $80 for a cheap band for my husband that broke at the reception....and to find out they never ordered it. I spent $200 extra to rush the order just to be safe.Now, my finger turns green every so often from the wrap...I called and was told that they didn’t clean my rings well enough when they put them together. I could have the rings cleaned and they could look at them. But there wasn’t much they could do.I am so done with this store. Please don’t ever go here. I’ve tired time and time again to give them a chance. They are all terrible. The sales rep left in the middle of the issue with my husbands ring. She got up and left....It’s not November 2018. I gave myself time to relax and think before writing the review. We all know how life can be. But this store seriously sucks. You all ruined many pictures I had taken at my wedding.
I was very scared walking into this place at first. I was nervous as to what I wanted to get and what Id be able to afford. To my surprise, I had a warm greeting. I was put at ease with how much they were willing to help me find that perfect gift. Once I heard about finance options, I stepped up and went for GOLD, rose gold that it. Found the perfect ring thanks to Erica and Sandra. They never pushed but instead let me talk about what I wanted and was looking for in a ring. They listened, and now I have the perfect fiance to match! Best experience Ive had at a jewlers!
My third experience with this location. and my third purchase thanks to Eve and the entire staff. Ive visited several jewelry stores where the employees makes you feel like theyre doing you a favor by waiting on you. Not Jared in Orland.

I give Jared in orland 5 stars there really nice professional and have beautiful jewelry. But I give there online ordering and customer service 0 stars took 5 days and hours to get ahold of these people just to let me know my order got canceled due to stock but yet they had it online when I ordered and right before Christmas. Thats my opinion hopefully no one else had to go through that. But I will go back to the store for sure..
This Jared has HORRIBLE customer service. I really miss the Jared in the Louis Joliet Mall. The 2 ladies that helped us purchase my center stone were ignorant, condescending and just downright rude. I’ll definitely be visiting a different Jared location for any future needs.

I went to Jared to get a gift for my wife on our anniversary, the help I received from the sales representative was first class. The salesman didnt try to over sell me even though I was ready to spend a lot more money than I did. He got exactly what i was looking for. I am extremely pleased with how helpful and knowledgeable they were. Extremely polite helpful knowledgeable. I will never go anywhere else for jewelry. Orland Park Jared ask for Matt.

The Orland Park illinois store is the best I ever experienced with customer service. We continue to shop there even if I find something I love cheaper somewhere else. I trust them and they are always willing to make sure we are completely satisfied.

Loved Jared. Susan was very helpful to my husband and I in selecting and upgrade to my wedding band. I wanted to use my original solitaire so it had to be set. When we came back in to pick it up, she was about to leave for the day but stuck around to see how my new setting turned out. She was professional and patient throughout the process. It took 3 hours to place my solitaire, size and polish both of our old bands so it matched the new set. Susan rocks!

Hes new to the Orland Park store as of six days, but youd think hes been in the Chicagoland area for some time. He was extremely personable, honest, understanding, and friendly - plus he can sell his ass off! I come from sales and customer service myself and I can truely say Matt was exceptional! Damaged my $13k watch when it went out for service. Had multiple issues. Didnt have my watch for almost a year after continuing issues with service. They say they sent the watch out to TAG yet I find it hard to believe given the condition it came back in. Manager had attitude towards me given my issues. But simple fact is I wouldnt be having issues if they didnt damage a expensive watch that just went out for an overhaul. Poor management and service. This store used to be good when it first opened. Would not recommend using them to overhaul expensive watches. Go find a family jeweler that will take care of your expensive timepieces and fix any issues the first time if they arise.
I went in to upgrade my current wedding ring, and I wanted to trade my current ring in. I found a Neil Lane ring that I loved! But they would only give me a 100 dollars for my current ring which was ridiculously undervalued. I went to Kay afterwards because they also carry Neil Lane. They didn’t have the ring on their site or in store, but I showed it to them and they special ordered it! They had a 20% off sale and they traded my ring in for 1200. I was just so annoyed because the guy at Jared assured me that no other place would be able to beat out their price and the only reason I would get so much for my ring somewhere else is because they inflate their prices so much... wrong! Don’t be fooled by them, it’s a sales tactic.

As soon as they found out I wasnt spending a ton the service went downhill. All of a sudden it was very pressured to hurry up and buy. I was never even informed of the price of the warranty plans that went along with my items until my card was already swiped. I was only told that that items had a warranty, but not the cost. Definitely the most uncomfortable jewelry purchase Ive made. Take your money somewhere that your business is actually valued and you arent just another sale for their paycheck.
The staff was nice! It was strange that the lighting was too dark and shadowy for me to take good pictures of my rings so my girl could see them.

The manager Chris that works at this location is terrible. I have had two experiences with her and each time she has been rude and very unhelpful. After my fiance purchased my engagement ring from this location, I have had to bring my ring back 6 times for repairs in the last year... 6 TIMES. Within those 6 times, two of the times I have lost 2 stones. The manager Chris couldnt seem more bothered by me or my problem with the item we purchased from the store. My advise, go to a small business and someone who is interested in backing their merchandise.
1st time custmer, store was empty, noone greeted upon arrival, approached the counter, asked if they could fix my broken necklace. Used to use Enternal Jewelers at the mall for this, but they closed, was $25. Went to Zales at the orland mall, they said $40, shipping it out for 2 weeks, recommended Jared ir need it done sooner. Jared said $42.99, they said the stuff from Zales gets shipped to them for fixing. I asked why are they charging more than, did not get an answer, did not seem like they even cared, so I just walked out very dissapointed. Found Jewelry, Gems & Design by accident on my way home, stopped in, pleasant staff, $25. Jared is overrated and was extremely dissapointed with service there.
Im only giving one star because I cannot post with ZERO stars. Horrible customer service. Consistently rude, sarcastic, snobby employees that show very little respect to long time customers that come to get their jewelry inspected and cleaned. They cut you off when you try to speak, they half-heartedly clean your rings and hand them back with finger prints all over them. You have to be on fire to get someone to help you or answer a question or get any type of service. Twice a year I go in for my jewelry inspection just to be treated like a lowlife. I will start driving to the Indiana location to get my rings inspected and cleaned from now on, these people act as if the customer is beneath them.
I have been calling the orland park store all afternoon and early evening today and there is no answer. I wonder if they closed down? If they are just busy its a shame they wont answer the phone.

This is the worst jeweler I have ever been to. I tried them out and was so troubled after receiving the type of service I received. I would not step foot in this place again. THE WORST!!!!!! I purchased a piece of jewelry that I did not find out was previously worn and used until I tried to bring it back and they refused to take it (a product that I only had for 1 week) which makes me think they sell used jewelry without informing the customer. THE WORST!!!!

Jared: The Galleria of Waiting. Spent almost 20 minutes there without even a word from the staff. In fact, during our wait, a staff almost bulldozed my son as they were walking across the store and, instead of apologizing, they scoffed. Too bad, I was looking to spend some of my Bitcoin gains on some fine jewelry for me and my wife.
I had just a terrible experience here. I had to stop in to get my engagement ring cleaned and my fiancé and I decided to start looking at wedding bands while we were there. We looked in the cases, sat down, pointed and discussed rings for almost an HOUR before anyone behind the counter bothered to tell us that someone would be with us soon. As soon as we DID get a sales persons attention it was very obvious that she was distracted by another new customer looking to make an engagement ring purchase instead of just wedding bands. I left feeling very as though my money was no good there. Since my ring is from Jared Id like our full set to be too, but we WONT be buying from the Orland Park location. Terrible customer service and disrespectful to customers.

Worst place to buy expensive stuff there, poor management, we droped off two time peaces worth $8700 for cleaning, 12 weeks later nobody knows where they are!!! I was asking to speak with manager so Michelle pretended to be one. She finally told me she would call me back and pretendet to take my name down, after I spelled it I asked her to read it back to me to make sure she got it, she didnt even write it down!I called corporate office and they said Terry should be the manager there. They told me Jared will investigate what happened.

I have purchased every special life event jewelry from Jared (engagement ring, Mothers Day gifts, christmas, etc.) and I am super disappointed they got rid of little girls/childrens jewelry.

There is horrible customer service at this location. I am sad every time I have to go there to get my 2 rings inspected. It takes about 45 minutes to get my rings checked in before they start the inspection. It is absolutely ridiculous.
