I had my vehicle tinted at Tint World. The place was not crowded and the waiting area was clean. The process of tinting 5 windows on my vehicle was done in 1.5 hours. I would recommend to family and friends.

This was one of the best experiences I have had regarding any type of service to my truck. I am the epitome of someone who does not care for the exterior of my car. Tint World of Owings Mills brought my vehicle back to life. All employees were extremely professional and extremely courteous from my consultation, scheduling, and actual service. Steve and his crew is very knowlegdable, they are very responsible and honest. I have brought in all my BMWs here. I have done almost everything here whether it’s a carbon fiber wrap, window tints or headlight restoration, always felt like family here. They stand behind their work to make sure the work promised is delivered. Very nice and polite great people.

My bf took me to this place to get my truck windows tinted. My 18% tints turned out really great. I’m in love. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because I had an appointment at 8am and my vehicle wasn’t ready until after 2:30pm. I had to call them to check on the status of my vehicle when they were suppose to call me first. Other than that it was great.

Hi, all. I dont usually write reviews, but given that the existing reviews were positive I had to share my experience. I visited Tint World in Owings Mills on August 8, 2020 to have my BMW tinted. I requested all 4 of my side windows and my rear window be tinted with 35% Suntek ceramic film. The installation took about 1.5 hours and costs ~$350. Fair price. When the job was done, I was told by a gentleman to inspect it. The outside looked great, but when I looked closely I noticed bubbling right away (see pics). When I asked the gentleman about it, he said it would all go away in about a week.Fast forward 2 weeks later, and the bubbling had not went away. There were many spots where the film was just not adhering. You could also see bubbling from the outside of the rear window. There was a light gap in both the rear quarter panel windows possibly due to the pre-cutting. I did my research and watched videos before coming here. I know that many shops use a heat gun to shrink bubbles, spots, and fingers. Why this wasnt done before leaving the shop is unknown to me. Anyway, I called the shop and told them about it. They said to bring it back and I set a new appointment.My new appointment took 3+ hours to the point where I was in the waiting area after hours. They re-tinted all but my passenger side window. I was told by the owner that the speck(s) in my passenger window was considered contamination and that I would be risking more contamination by removing the tint so it was best to leave it. I can understand that, but if youre going to re-do all but one window, why not fix everything 100%? Just my thinking. I could tell this time around that they took their time, especially on the rear window - the film adhered much better.The next morning (Saturday) when it was daylight, I noticed all of the these white spots on my rear leather seats. Naturally I assumed it was from the glue that was used during the process. I attempted to clean it myself, but it would not come off. I called the shop again (Monday) and they had me bring it back the same day. They apologized and told me their detailer would clean it. That afternoon they called me to come and pick it up. When I looked in the back seat, there were still spots and streaks of white liquid running down. I couldnt believe it. I immediately went back in. They brought the detailer out and I literally had to show him where all the spots were and where to clean. By then, I was done.The staff was nice and the price was fair, but the quality of the work was not good. It just seemed to me that they dont check their work when done and that, to me, lowers the standard. Not only that, they left marks all over my rear window pane (see pics). I thought about using this place again to have my front windshield done, but I will not be going back. I would recommend using another shop. You will pay a little more, but it will be worth it.

This business is extremely clean inside. The bathroom is spotless and smells good. It made me feel comfortable to sit and wait in the waiting room for my car to get done. Employees are friendly and explain everything. Great experience. Thanks again.

I had Tint World clean my 911 headlights and put on a hood clear bra. Upon pick up they told me it looked good. This was a modest statement. The fact is that it was PERFECT! A new set would have cost me $3,000. Tint World brought back my old lights to new at a very small fraction of the cost of new headlights. It was definitely a OMG moment for me. Great value. I received a gift to get my two front windows tinted. I called to schedule my appt and the lady whom I spoke with ( sorry I didn’t catch her name) was very professional and kind. I scheduled for 0900 and I arrived on time and my car was taken right back. I was offered coffee and water and I sat in the plush waiting area for about 45 minutes. Great work, and I received a coupon! I will recommend. Thank you!

Please do no come here they will try to talk you out of what you want and they are too expensive I recommend that you try other places that have the same quality with way better prices thieves without a gun

I was referred to tint world by my brother and boy did they NOT disappoint at all. When I first walked into the back and saw my car, I was immediately more in love with my car than when I first got it. I had the tinting and chrome delete done. The attention to detail on the chrome delete was immaculate. They did a phenomenal job. Everyone arrived right on time, the staff was very nice and accommodating, and my car was ready for pick up when they said it would be. Overall my experience was amazing and I would definitely used them again for any of my other car needs.

Tint World in Owings Mills is a top notch establishment ran by caring and knowledgeable professionals. I had the windows tinted on my truck today, and from the moment I walked in, it was evident this shop was different than other custom shops in the area. The waiting area was extremely clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Large windows allow customers to see the shop area where the work is being done. During my visit there was a Bentley, two corvettes, a Mercedes, and a Range Rover all getting work done. Nonetheless, they were able to squeeze me in as a walk-in. The staff (especially the lady running the front desk...I forgot her name, sorry) was extremely courteous and helped me decide the best product to meet my needs. I spent several minutes talking with the owner, Steve, while waiting for my truck to get finished...dude knows his cars! Everyone I encountered there was super friendly and very professional. I had questions about future modifications and Chris stopped what he was doing to give advice. The tint looks great and I’ll definitely return to Tint World for any future modifications! Thank you!

Very poor customer service for my experience.

Great service with a friendly environment! Deloreswas knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions I had. She even gave me a tour of the garage and provided examples of their services. Prices for tinting are lower than the competition and I was able to have my car tinted fairly quick considering I was squeezed in as a walk in. They also have appointments available sooner than most other places in the area. I would recommend Tint Worlds Owings Mills location to anyone in the area looking for aftermarket automotive improvements at an affordable price!

I had a very pleasant experience getting my car detailed here. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Their waiting room is so clean and nice. I got a full detailing of the inside and outside of my 2002 ford mustang, my convertible top now looks great! There was some concerns about being able to clean it, but they got the job done and I am very happy. I had my mother pick it up and Dolores sent me pictures to my cell phone because she knew I was out of town and wouldnt be able to see it right away. I would definitely recommend getting work done here.

I originally went to tint world to have my dodge Challengers windows tinted. After they did a great job and gave me the best customer service that I ever had decided to have my sub woofers put in. Of course I couldnt stop there. So I had my calibers painted and they did the BEST JOB EVER!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAVING ALL YOUR AUTO NEEDS DONE AT TINT WORLD. THEY GO THE EXTRA MILE AND PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE.

The personnel are very professional and I am highly impressed with the shop! They have a beautiful showroom and plush waiting area for their customers! I have have had many tint jobs done on the various cars that I have owned over the years and I have never seen a tint place as nice as this one. They even serve cold and hot beverages! Great place to get your windows tinted for sure. But if your going to get you car wrapped be specific Ive waited so long for this. Its alot of work time I like the work they did great but its just there was more to what I asked for and they didnt do as planned like they said they would of done. We even went over it before they started it to but hey thats life ile find someone else to do what I asked.

Nobody there to answer the phone and no reply from a request for quote. If that is their work ethic, I can only imagine how it would translate over to their workmanship on my car.

Great Professional service with remarkable results .

I would give 0 star if possible. They removed tint that that wasnt supposed to be, then took forever to redo the windshield. I went to pick it up and still wasnt done. I also had a remote start/ keyless entry installed and the wire to the hood pin switch is not hooked up not do I have a siren which was in the description. I also mentioned I had a small leak at the rear window seal due to rust. I was told they could fix it. They did so by just running a bead of silicone around the edge of the window and by trying to do the inside of the rear window, they had to remove a panel, which they broke in the process. They then used a wood screw to reattach the panel, like I wouldnt notice. Never made a comment about it. One of the worst businesses I have dealt with. I do not and will not recommend them.

Wrote a subpar review. I have to change my thoughts. Went several times to take care of my speaker problem. First I thought they just wanted to fix it and send me a packing. But in reality the problem was something else. The guy explained it and a possible solution. Which didnt include spending alot of money with them. Very nice people, I watched the tint guy literally tint guy cut and apply tint to my suv in 1 hour like a surgeon and a gl550 aint a small vehicle. Plus that AMG GT on the shop floor also made time fly just by looking at it sparkle. And they vacuum my truck. What more could you ask for

They installed my remote start for me so i went back to get it reconnected because it had disconnected when I received a jump start they tried to reconnect it but it wouldnt kick over so they said I need to get a new battery.. Long story short it was in valet mode so my brother googled it for me and me and my brother was able to get it working again!!! So I saved me some money cause they was going to charge me once i brought it back with the new battery... But I cant be mad cause I figure their specialty is tint!!
