This place just lost a 12+ years customer. I was already informed last month I was there that they have new ownership, but that nothing was changed on their operations. Today, I just walked out because since they are under new ownership they have new rules and as a result my usual (again, 12+ years I have used this location) haircut would cost almost double. Save your time (and money), theres more capable and courteous people out there that can give you same services, for a lot cheaper!

Sat there for 20 minutes; no one even acknowledged existence. Workers kept walking by. Just even a simple “hello” or a “we have a bit of a wait” would be a nice way to communicate.

I was at this salon today and took my Mom there as well. We both got the best haircuts from Molly. I was going to Palm Desert because I was introduced to Molly at another salon there. When she moved to Palm Springs I followed her there as well. I live in La Quinta. It’s worth the drive for a stylist who really knows her stuff with fine hair.

This place is awesome! Debbie is super nice and friendly, and Anastasia does some amazing color & cuts. Everyone seems very friendly, overall great experience! My mother in law was very pleased her hair after Anastasia worked her magic! Thanks Palm Springs Fantastic Sams!!

Really friendly and competent service. My stylist Alicia was quick and skillful. A little pricey compared to some of the mom and pops, which is odd for a chain, but not outlandish. Will go again and would recommend.

Called the day before and got a different price quote for a haircut and a beard trim for $22 as a package when I got there was told it would be 22 for the hair and 8 for the beard. if I didnt need my beard done I would have just walked away so I just paid for the beard! The consistent price changing with this place is ridiculous nobody knows what the right and left-handed doing. But they did do an excellent job on the beard!

I went to the shop four months or so ago. Debbie cut my hair. She heard my request. I wanted something a bit different than what I had. She did a great job and I have been back twice since. Its a clean shop with pleasant stylists.

Visiting in Palm Springs and stopped for a hair cut. Had not been there before; Molly was great and did a lovely job. My hair has some curl so I opted for no blow dry and it gooks very nice. Very Happy.

I used to go to another shop in Palm Springs, and had a so/so haircuts... Until about a year ago... I was told about Fantastic Sams, and decided I would give them a try. I have had great haircuts from a stylist named Skip. He is very detail oriented, and pays close attention to what he is doing. The shop is clean and neat, and its a great value for the money.

I forgot the name of the girl that cut my hair but she was awesome!

I first came here on vacation in May 2015. My travel mate wanted a quick buzz cut. Pretty simple cut, stylist was fun, personable, and had great recommendations for dinner. I moved here in February 2016 and I went back and keep coming back all the way from Rancho Mirage and have had nothing but fun, the African American woman has me in stitches every time, she is hysterical!!!

A quick clip when you are rushed and need a last minute cut. You are on a timer here, so dont expect a professional cut....But good for those last minute trims.

Herma gave me an exceptional haircut it was fun sitting in her chair. I asked for a military style fade and she went to work. Looks sharp!

I have gone and had my hair cut there now 5 times... Always has been a good experience! I even had my Mom go in who hates getting her hair cut and is used to getting $200 hair cuts in BHills and loved what she did, best haircut she has ever had. Personally I would request the pretty African American woman that has the front station. ( I am unsure I can use her name, she is terrific)I worked in a salon for many years running the front desk in a BH place and I can safely say that she cuts better then any of then!

Possibly the worst haircut I have ever had! I gave the girl very clear and specific instructions that I only wanted a trim and not too short. She did what she wanted to do and made my hair look awful. Then she combed it differently than I had it and even put a part in the hair where there was none before and combed it straight back when I always comb it to the side. So I said to her is this the way my hair looked when I walked in? She had NO CLUE as if she didnt even look at my hair BEFORE she started to work on it. Never again!

Totally disappointed. I asked for a clipper cut. Well, the girl forgot a large part of my hair. 30 bucks for hair and beard plus 5 dollar tip. The lady next to me asked for red and blonde highlights and the stylist said What?. Be warned.

I would never recommended any services from this place. Don helped me, he seemed to know what hes doing..so I thought...after I noticed he drop his scissors and comb, right away I knew something went wrong. He rushed through the hair cut while stumbling. I asked to see the back of my hair to check out my neck line and notice he shaved a bald spot near my left ear, he didnt line my neck right it was all choppy. Bad services over all :( horrible experience and terrible hair cut!!!

Am desperate for a haircut, otherwise Id leave. Sign outside says they welcome walk-ins, but the lady couldnt seem to understand that I walked in for a haircut. In the time it took to get her to understand me, another guy walked in behind me and was immediately seated. Doesnt bide well.

WORST EVER!!!! Dont go here, please Im still trying to mend my Fried hair since last November! I couldnt even ask a question, No conversation, filthy station, rude, and turned my hair yellow/orange I was crying and they Did Not care!!!I Ive never ever been treated so badly by a So called stylist in my entire life! !! And the Owner didnt care either!!! My hairs uneven and destroyed! !! WARNING!!!!

Can not stand these people who work at the place. They dont listen to a thing you tell them. I would never go again or send a friend. I asked them to cut my daughters hair 3 in they cut off 6. Um big deal when your hair does not grow fast and you did not ask for that. Never again.
