I like going to this salon because they are very accommodating. If you have a busy schedule, they will fit you in. Mercedes does beautiful highlights. Nikki has done beautiful cuts. There have been other stylists that havent worked for me, but all you have to do is call them and they will fix it. The manager is very understanding and easy to talk to if there is any issue. The prices are affordable and they dont have a lot of people there when they schedule appointments.

This has been my first salon to do a professional hair cut and I was blessed by Cari. Ever since I had my first basic cut I fell in love. She kept it the way I wanted and took her time. I now get my hair died and styled by her as well. I love my hair thanks to her and get several compliments. Cari is super amazing at what she does and she’s a kind and gorgeous soul.As for the store and other staff they all are nice and do an excellent job as well. They offer a variety of hair products from Paul Mitchell to Burgatti which is a great affordable product that is good quality and nice to your hair. They offer you coffee or hot chocolate which is a bonus. The store is very kept up with maintenance and cleaning.

THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE! Undependable and unprofessional.. Dont waste your time nor money here, they couldnt care less about their clients. ***The photo below was taken (at the Hair Market) Friday, August 19th, 2016 (the day before my sisters wedding).*** Their newest employee gave me a haircut that Friday, did a sloppy braid and actually let me leave the salon like that. I showed up early for my appointment (on the day of my sisters wedding) so that the same employee could style it. They had me waiting for 20-30min before telling me that theyre behind and wont be able to take me for another hour or so. I had literally just spoke with the stylist the day before when she reassured me that they can be trusted for this special day. Needless to say, after having to share my sisters stylist (who ended up having to spend time on both of us), we arrived late to the venue. Ive never had such a bad experience with a hair salon, that place was a nightmare. Hope this review will prevent future disasters!

Bec i asked for chunky highlights and lows and its not what happen. The lady was older and had glasses and could not see that good. And when she washed out the color she didnt do it right so the brownish red made my bleach bloned lights carmel. And they are really tiny in back of my head and big one in front

Maria is very knowledgeable and keeps the integrity of your hair while giving you what you want ! My hair was faded red, ( box dye for years ) and she spent her time and color experience to perfect my color - Balayage ! Ash brown to blonde, Even harder ! But boy did she nail it ! Needless to say I’m so happy with the end result of my new and improved hair ! ❤️ Thank you for being so aware of my hair goals, you made the experience super enjoyable !!Definitely recommend Maria !!

I have a fear of hair cuts dating back to a very young age but Bel did such a wonderful job! I just moved down to Florida and have not been to a salon in months (the trauma is real 😅) but she did exactly what I wanted, gave me recommendations for hair care, and was so friendly! I will definitely be scheduling another appointment with her soon!

My first time coming here since I am new to area. it was a great experience Julisa was very sweet at the front desk and rosa did a great job on my hair. I will definitely be coming here for my cuts from now on.

My Dad and my Husband get their hair cut there. The staff is wearing masks and they only allow max 4 customers at a time now. The room is very large and they are arranged at least 6 feet apart if not more. The facility is big enough to feel very safe to go there now during this difficult time. The staff is very helpful and professional when I talk to them on the phone.

Came early, told me they didnt have time to do my color and shadow roots which is what i had called And scheduled. The uniformed receptionist that went over pricing for what i wanted put color and cut. Asked Me to come back later that the stylist was not able to do my hair and that another stylist could 3hrs later.. Very rude and unprofessional will never come back. Waste of time

Mercedes I love her she is amazing the first time I met her I was in quite the Dilemma I let a friend of mine color my hair needless to say it was a disaster. But she was so sweet calmed me down and reassured me she would take care of it and she did not disappoint. On that particular day I was in a major Rush forget to work I had no time for a haircut but I did return to the salon for the haircut. Nikki, is the best hairstylist I have ever been too; I have searched long and hard to find a stylist like Nikki, and thank god I did! Every time I walk out of the salon I leave with amazing hair, that I exactly asked for! She is the only person I let touch my hair. She is an amazing stylist and highly recommend her! I’m never coming back. It’s the third time I’ve tried this place with three different women, who have all been very nice ! But I’m never satisfied with the cut. In this final time coming Home from the hair market my hair cut looked so ridiculous when I straightened it, it was choppy and there was way to much layers when I didn’t even ask for layers, I showed a picture of what I wanted and to be honest it looks nothing like the picture. The women was very nice though. I won’t be returning.

Been here quite a few times. It’s close to my house and they take walk ins. The little manager at the front can talk a good one but she does not do any styling. She does not even know what the hairdressers are doing because She works on the computer doing her palm beach state homework the entire two hours I was in the chair behind her. I told her I had to be at a luncheon in a few hours and hairdresser said she can do it. First she dyed my eyebrows red and all the hairdresser were saying how it looks good. Then she was too busy working on another employees hair to even notice my timer went off. She told me to go to the sink where I waited for her to come but She never came and I had to go interrupt what she was doing on the other hair dressers hair. She didn’t fully rinse the dye out of my hair. She rushed through it and I told her it’s not out but she insisted it was. Then she had to put brown dye on my eyebrows to cover up the red which took layers off my skin.i didn’t even want to let her cut and blow dry because I knew I still had dye. The manager at the front was oblivious to what was going on and had nothing to say about desiray dying my brows red. Maybe she didn’t like me but I was still a paying customer who planned on tipping 40$. Luckily I made it home in time to rinse all the dye out and blow dry my own hair before I had to be somewhere. Another time- besides dropping wax on my shirt the hair dresser did do my eyebrows in a nice shape. Another time- the second perm I ever had in my life did not curl at the front which is most important place and what curls I did have lasted about 5 days. I would say do not come here if you care about your hair or eyebrows. You are better off going to Sally’s and doing it yourself. Even if you tip well you have to understand you’re not getting the best hairdressers when they offer 15$ cuts. Even when you pay for the most expensive cut on the menu, the hair dressers here can’t deliver beyond 15$

I made an appointment online and was given Marion to cut my hair. She was very patient and understanding of my haircut anxiety. She listened to what I wanted, making sure I was happy with every step along the way. I was so pleased with her I brought my even more anxious daughter the next day. Marion did the impossible and made my 17 year old smile. We will be going to her from now on.

I had my haircut February 7th. My first issue is Tina didnt listen in full to what I wanted and jumped the gun on my description. I said, I dont want to see my hairline and have it angeling longer in the front., she said, Okay, I understand . My hair was close to what I wanted. I wanted a proper bob,shorter in the back not above my hairline, angeling longer in the front. She sectioned of my hair and as soon as she made the first cut, it was to late. She had cut a section in the back, cutting my hair stacked just below my occipital bone. My one length hair was gone. I had no choice at that point, so I sat there. I have been sick the past few years and was going to be seeing some friends, I had not seen in close to 4years. I was very upset with my hair, it was way to short and I felt even more insecure about my appearance. My hair was one of my favorite things about myself. I knew it couldnt be put back on, so I thought Ill make the best of things. I thought, well, the haircut isnt to bad, I had been a stylist for 10 plus years in my 20s. I washed my hair, went to dry my hair and OMG, my haircut is awful, crooked, and noticeably longer on one side to the other and the only way to fix it, is to cut it shorter and that is NOT happening. Tina was nice, but should wait for the customers full description, before cutting. I did not get to finish my description of what I wanted, before she said she understood, and I assumed because of the way my haircut was already, that she was on my same page. Unhappy all around.

I just had my hair done today by Belkis, and she always does a wonderful job! She’s done all my crazy hair phases, and each time nails what I want. I always recommend going to her if you want your hair done exactly how you want it.

Maranda is a hair genious. She does just what I ask with my high and low lights. Her cuts are perfect. I love my hair and I highly recommend her. The staff is friendly and they create a comfortable atmosphere. They have a good working relationship together that is obvious. Very nice salon.

I have been coming to the Hair Market to see Jill for 3 years now. I am such a picky person when it comes to my hair. I dont let anyone else color, cut, dry, and anything! Jill always knows when I want to be chatty or when I just need quiet time. I always leaving feeling like a million bucks! Jill does really excellent color and cuts. I have highlights, low lights and color added to my hair every few months. I recently attended a wedding where Jill did my hair for the event and I have never received more compliments on my hair. My own wedding is coming up and I will be commissioning Jill for the event. Thank you Hair Market for always making sure I have such an amazing experience!

Ive come here for years every few months to cut my hair. Never had an issue. As a walk-in. I came in today & the woman at the front desk asked me to wait 5 min. The hairdresser assigned to me made faces as if she just didnt want to do it and was genuinely rude. I had to ask her to wash my hair before the cut & she denied me when i asked for her to blow dry my hair because she said she had other appointments, but the store was empty. When i told her that every other time ive come in as a walk in theyve blow dried my hair, her eyes got wide & she just said you have to call for an appointment for a blow dry. When my hair finally dried, i realized it was completely uneven and choppy. I have 2 different lengths of hair and all i wanted was a few inches off.

It was my first time going there and the experience was even better than I expected! The whole staff was friendly and my hairstylist Ashley was great! She listened to exactly what I wanted and super nice she did a wonderful job on my haircut and Ill definitely be back!F - 18 yrs.

Well, I learned my lesson. You get what you pay for. After repeatedly telling the stylist to NOT leave the ends as a straight cut across my back, what do I end up with? Basically look like an upside down paintbrush now, except that she missed a few spots, too, which I ended up evening out myself. I guess Im a stylist now, too! And apparently just as skilled. She did not even offer to blow dry it, isnt that a good idea both for an up-sale and for checking your work? Why didnt I stay and push for better service or a remedy? The place was suspiciously packed and the receptionist didnt really seem interested in the clients. Im angry and embarrassed at myself for not pursuing a resolution right then, but I didnt want to cause a scene either. (And my hair was still dripping, so I wasnt really sure what it would dry in to...it dried into disappointment.) I had it by that point, its not like they could have fixed it--not going to trust them to mess it up even worse a second time. I REALLY dont want it any shorter. So, 2 stars for price and 23 minutes of hair brutality. 1 star for an unresponsive, unskilled stylist. I got a receipt to remind myself to not ever do that to my hair again. I shudder to think of what would have happened if I had wanted a more challenging procedure.

Go in there for a trim get your hair hacked off, went in there for a trim of 1 to 2 inches leave with 5 to 6 !! just on the floor ... so was my jaw when I saw the finished product smh NEVER AGAIN .. listen to ur clients...

Beware. I saw a lot of reviews for this place saying they got one price over the phone then had to pay more at the salon so I made sure when I booked my appt for a cut that it would be $18. This was my first time at the salon and they booked me with Belkis. She cut my hair then told me she needed to blow dry it a little bit to make sure she cut it right. She ended up blow drying my hair and charging me double. I left paying $36 not including the tip. This was such a scam because she told me she had to blow dry it to make sure she cut it right. I won’t be back.

Took my mom in for a wash and was told it was $6.00 over the phone, yet $7.00 when I paid. Otherwise good. Price discrepancy kept it from being 5 star.

Big mistake trying a new stylist. My regular stylist was not working and the stylist I saw was not very good with think hair. She insisted on a dry cut and did a horrible job. She cut one side considerably shorter than the other and left my layered hair style resembling a shag from the seventies.

From the 1st time Pamela did my hair she just knew what it needed. I am very happy I started going here and she was the one I got initially!

The stylist spent an hour and a half- claiming she was a perfectionist however she didnt style my hair for me to see after. When I got home and fixed it- I was humiliated. She did the absolute worst layers Ive ever had in my life, and didnt fade it into the sides at all. Everyone that has seen my new cut says I need to wear it half up half down until it grows out! Now thats embarrassing. I refuse to go back to fix it- Ill never let her touch my hair again- the hour and a half was obviously because she didnt know what she was doing. DO NOT EVER go to a hair place where they dont style your hair for you to see what they have done!!
