The doctor here is is really great. He’s friendly and good at what he does. His staff is a thoroughly unpleasant experience. We’ve been coming to this doctor for several years. His staff used to be SO very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The staff now is not. The younger girl was nice and tried to help. The older woman was very very rude. According to the older woman the PD (pupillary distance) is not a part of the prescription. She said “Just so you know it is not policy to provide the pd with the prescription” and that she’d “give it to me this time” as if my medical information is something she is at liberty to withhold from me! the paying customer who’s medical information it is!!!! She said this loudly in front of the younger woman and 3 other customers! I can’t believe staff here would think they have the right to withhold my medical information from me! I wonder if it is because they only want me to purchase glasses from them? They are withholding my personal medical information to make a sale? I don’t know but I’m just floored at how rude someone could be to a patient asking about their medical information. My pd was listed clearly at the top of my medical chart. If it’s in my medical chart it’s MY medical information and I have every right to request my medical information. This has been an unbelievable experience, I am so disappointed because the doctor is really great but I won’t be interacting with staff like this in the future.

I took my mom shopping for new glasses, and out of the three stores I took her to (Nation Wide Vision, Lenscrafters, Target), Susan in the Target Optical department was by far the most helpful and patient associate we dealt with. She took the time to help my mom choose the perfect pair of glasses, explaining different sizes, lenses and overall answering any questions we had, even though we should up an hour before closing. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place family and friends. Thank you for your help Susan!

The doctor is great and he staff is very friendly, helpful and just an all around good experience! I tried a competitor and it was a disaster. I have been coming here at least 15 or more years!

All the employees were wonderful. They found me a good deal on cheaper eyewear that was more functional for my daily routine instead of just trying to stick me with the high end products. Definitely enjoy my experience every visit!

5 stars for the doctor who is friendly and engaging. 1 star for the staff who are rude, and have lied to me to save face in front of their co-worker and have not called me back twice now after saying they would. At this point I am considering eating the $50 exam fee and going somewhere else just so I can actually get contacts and new lenses for my glasses.

The doctor was very thorough with the exam. I was very impressed The lady that helped. I wish I knew her name was very friendly and helpfulShe helped me select my frames. I would recommend this Targets Optical to anyone

Not a big fan of the doctor here. I went back to talk to him about how I wasnt 100% happy with my contact lense exam and he seemed insulted I was questioning him about it.

Great service and budget friendly selections. Was in a budget and managed to be under it. Highly recommend it.

Very disappointed😞 I felt like the Dr was getting impatient with me and I noticed they give better customer service to certain people. The only person that was helpful was the curly hair kid. I canceled ny order and got my refund the next day.

Very disappointed with todays visit. Didnt get to see Dr.Castro in vision, but seen his fill in for today. Not only was I 30 minutes early for my appointment, but didnt get seen until 25 minutes after my appointment time. He had no patience for my 5 year old and very rude. Kept saying how we should go somewhere else, and assuming the way his pediatrician did the eye exam. Very sad,not my sons fault that the doctor was inpatient. Wont be returning after this...felt horrible after this.

Very impressed with our experience at this location. The Dr. was great at explaining everything to us. The highlight of our experience was Jason for sure. He was very patient with my indecisiveness and incredibly helpful. We even went to another retailer to look at frames and came back to target because of him. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

I almost thought I had a negative experience because it took 2 weeks to get my glasses. BUT I have a really high prescription, astigmatism & ordered specialty lenses. They made the two week deadline exactly. Jason was nice and Sam (who usually works at another store) was SUPER helpful. She looked into the order’s details on the computer, told me they would be ready that day and called me as soon as they were in. I saved a lot of money and will be coming back. Thank you Target Optical!
