I like the fact that this place is clean and tidy. The staff is friendly too. I came here is because my son loves it here. He always wanted to check to see if Game Stop has brought in new action figures. I just love the environment. But their items are not cheap, well at least not for me. But if anyone doesnt mind the price, this is definitely the to go place for video games and figures.
Went in to buy the PlayStation 5. Had a bad experience with the manager who would keep insisting I add different things to my checkout and even adding things to my checkout without me agreeing to them. Wouldn’t let me finish speaking once she had gone on all her tangents and repeating the same things over and over while not taking no for an answer until I had to tell her multiple times I wasn’t interested.
Very nice staff, I left my mask at home and they gave me one. I ordered a Go-Tcha evolve here and the man working the register was really efficient and helped me through it
Christmas shopping here we come lol this place is big and have plenty if anime options
I contacted them to confirm if they have stock in store. The lady who answered was extremely rude. As soon as I said that product name she told me to go online. I had already spoke to another store who said they may have them. Please allow your customers to speak.
They offered me 25.00 for an Xbox 4 never going back to this store awful treatment
Used to be my favorite location but the years have taken its toll
Longest checkout line ever. It took 35 mins for them to ring us up. Two employees were working and one decided to work on something else instead of ringing us up, but had no problem taking care of the two people behind us. Ridiculous.
If I could give a -25, I would. My son and I have been shopping at Games Stop for 16 years. I had the most dis-respectful, unprofessional shopping experience with my son I have ever had in my whole life. We will never visit this location again. My son purchased two games for his XBOX that did not work, so we returned them to this location. During this refund and exchange process, he got a new game and was supposed to get a refund for the remainder. They were nice enough to provide him with coupons and other things they were offering, but the talked him into purchasing a Digital Subscription for something that he did not need because he has something similar with his XBOX account. I allowed him to handle this transaction on his own. When he came back to the car and I took a look at the receipt, I told him that the subscription they charged him for was something similar to what he already has paid for through his XBOX account so I sent him back in the store to get a refund. the young lady that was assisting him refused to issue the refund and sent him out of the store. So I go in the store and let her know that I would like a refund and she began to go back and forth with me and refused to honor my request for a refund for about 10 minutes. I am aware of what your subscriptions are, I dont need an explanation, I need a refund. This young lady was rude, and unprofessional and I am going to contact the corporate office as soon as I post this and I am going to go on Game Stop Instagram and FB pages to see if we can get this issue addressed. It was the worst experience I have had in any store I have ever been in. She spoke to us as if we were stupid and the was mumbling under her breath as if we couldnt hear her. I have to have something done about this experience and I am not going to stop until I do.
This Game Stop is Awesome! There is room to breath, its open, clean, and easy to see everything in the store. Austin one of the Game Advisors was amazing! He knew what I was looking for, found it (both items) in less than a minute. He was extremely knowledgeable and it would be hard to believe anyone could know the store that well. I went in looking for two things and left with 5 items. GameStop if you want to be successful....clone Austin from this store and take notes on this stories floor plan.
GameStop is ok for what it is, but game dedicated stores dont really serve a purpose anymore to me with online shopping and other stores like Best Buy and Walmart around to buy games from. Games very rarely go on sale here. GameStop usually always overcharges for games, but if you want to trade in games they offer you very little for them. The reps are usually always trying to push you into buying their membership or extended warranties as well.
Very good 😊 👍
Very nice 😊 👍
I want to give a shout out to Kathryn for the spectacular customer service I received today. Thank you Ryan as well for the support you gave us.I wanted to sell my Ps4 with a few games for about 300 bucks online as a bumdle, but decided to give GameStop a try first. To my surprise I almost marked 400 in store credit. I thank the associates mentioned because they guided me through the process and answered my plethora of questions (I felt no pressure at all). Thanks again for the provided service; Ill surely be back soon.
Just looked for Bryans next months Nintendo Switch Game
Now am tell you a little stroy about this gamestop I dived over 2 hours and as I entered the store I asked for a simple game the guy said he dosent have it so I was like Okay so go to games on the Ps4 and they Have A copy of it I take it to the Drugged up Lester from GTA V and he said he doesnt have the original Box and I told him if he has other versions of it and he told me by typing three Keys on the keyboard and what made me mad was that he said they dont have it Dont go here
The employees were very helpful. I wanted a less expensive old JRPG to grind through and they just about went through their whole inventory describing any game they thought I’d like.
The personal is so rude 😠
One of the biggest and a good selection, even during the holidays. Staff was helpful, despite it being busy and also gave some good gift ideas.
Great service and cashier was awesome.
Their GameStop is huuuuuuge and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I know some GameStop staff tend to have a weird ego and pretend your tastes and knowledge is inferior; not here. The staff are absolutely wonderful.Right, so the size of this place matters because they carry more collectibles and swag when compared to other GameStop. During Covid-19, a lot of the floor is empty, but I still found a rare Transformers figure here. After 1 visit, this location became my favorite GameStop even though its the 3rd closest one to me.
Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend, managers and staff are unfriendly and don’t understand the basics of respect. Go somewhere else... even Best Buy would be be better, they have the same things and more. Don’t forget bestbuy also does deals which GameStop never does. Grew up getting games here but this recent time I was there changed my mind completely.
Hit or miss at this location. Staff either friendly and knowledgeable or make it up as they go along.
I have been to many game stops in multiple states across the country. This is by far the biggest and one of the cleanest stores I have ever been in. Staff was friendly and eager to assist me. Excellent assortment of collectibles as well. I would highly recommend this game stop to anyone seeking a luxurious game shopping experience.
Great place if you are a video game lover. So much collection to choose from. This place wont disappoint you
Didnt have many games in stock, had to order online, wait, and pay for shipping, smh whats the point of having stores?
One of, if not THE biggest GameStop in the country. Great staff. Huge collectible and memorabilia selection. I will travel the extra 7 miles to come here rather than a different location.
Went over the weekend to ask about the new animal crossing Nintendo Switch console, had some general questions about pre-order and if they would have any the official day they came out. The black man who helped us was friendly, but his white coworker interrupted me while I was asking a question, luckily the guy helping us stepped in and told him to let me finish asking my question. While, I understand that they probably got a ton of questions throughout the week about the new animal crossing console, it still doesn’t mean interrupt us when we are asking a completely different question than what he assumed we were going to ask. Customer service was bad, they act annoyed to do their jobs and I get that it can be frustrating to be asked the same questions all week, it still doesn’t excuse how they treat those who haven’t asked those questions yet, it’s a part of the job and it’s the basis of customer service..
Friendly staff, and great selection of games. Building is a pretty nice size as well
Pretty nice store. People were helpful as well.
Always great customer service here! Very helpful and friendly. Thank you!
Yassir always friendly people and great service
Thank you Marcus. He helped us a lot. Excellent customer service, very nice guy. He greeted us soon we walked in. Thank you for making our visit pleasant. Love that store. Its a store closer to me but I like that one, more stuffs.
Nice store... great customer service!
The biggest GameStop I have seen, lots of cool stuff around and not as crammed as other gamestops.
Wonderful GI-NIRMOUS!! location! Very knowledgeable staff. Game selection is great. Life sized statues of Thor, Batman and others. I am definitely a repeat customer. Ive been to multiple Halo release parties. The last one I went to had a guy dressed up as Master Chief. He had a couple of guns and a Gravity Hammer. Pictures with master chief were free :)
Learn to pick up the phone bad service.
I Love it!
Very friendly staff who can give you educated and enthusiastic opinions. The already large store being connected to Barnes and Noble is a plus for gamers that also play D&D or other rpg/board/card games, or who want anything else manga/anime related.
I love this Gamestop so much. Its full of so many different games (obviously) and it always feels so lively whenever I come inside. The staff are amazing and always really helpful!
I HAVE TO SAY I HATE THIS STORE!!! I dont use that word a lot either. They arent helpful. Ive gone in on multiple occasions to trade stuff in and I ask for cash and they have told me no.... Let me save you a trip go to the one on Independence and legacy the staff there is amazing, they are all really nice people who are there to help you.
Spacious, co-located with a nice B&N which in turn has a Starbucks. Nice selection of collectibles, shirts and fun nerd stuff in addition to video games. Clean, staff is friendly.
Store staff are not friendly and hate to spend time on costumer service i’ve been going to this game stop for 11 years and I won’t go ever again after the experience I just had they treat you like you’re not even in the store just last week we went there 15 minutes before closing they act like they were already closed and Like i forced them to open their store they were very rude and rushing me to decide on the purchase
They never answer the phone and its ridiculous to go there and they not have what you are looking for.
There were 5 people working and 1 customer getting helped, and somehow we ended up waited in line for help for 15 minutes. When we finally got someone to help us, the cashier didnt know what she was doing. She had to get the manager who came out of the back and sounded like she had just woke up from a nap and also couldnt help us, and didnt offer any solution. I never expect great service from Game stop employees anymore. We ended up spending 25 minutes in the store, and now Im just going to start going to Best Buy instead.
They have a rare customer service level at this location. Many gamestops will barely look up from the register. Not this one. Great location. Very helpful folks.
Love it
Really rude ....forget pre ordering here they will screw it up .. most of them have bad hygiene especially the bald one with a ponytale . My advice is to go to any gamestop but this one.
Oh my goodness as a parent is very hard to find your kids old video game that they might like and the guys there in this place are so knowledgeable and they have a wonderful sense of humor and good customer service
Clean and organized place, friendly staff.. big and good inventory
This gamestop keeps going down hill with the employees. This time when we went they had 2 people and it was a 20 minute wait with only 3 people in line because one of them had no clue what he was doing and the girl had to keep doing his job for him. This is definitely poor management
Largest gamestop I have ever seen. Looks amazing and clean inside, also staff is really helpful and helps you choose the type of game youre actually looking for.Come here often!
Went to this store to buy a Nintendo switch about 10 minutes before they were too close. I was nervous to ask the staff if they had any consoles, because they were about to close and I did not want to inconvenience them. While I was in the store, the staff kept loudly talking to each other right in front of me about how soon they were going to close. Not once while I was in the store did the staff acknowledge my presence, asked how I was doing, or asked if I needed any help. I left empty-handed, and the staff threw away a $300 purchase that could have juiced their numbers right at the end of the day.
It’s one of the better stores, it opens earlier and closes later, and it is very spacious so that you don’t feel as boxed in
Impressive how large this GameStop is and Ive enjoyed shopping here. However I called 2 minutes after opening this morning to check for a new Pop! that the website said they had in stock. Lizz advised none were at the store. I traveled to another local GameStop, being the first customer. The employee kindly checked and said the first store I called had 1 left in stock.Once again I call and talk to Lizz. I explain I just left another store and was told her store had 1. This time she says there is 1, but it is now on hold. Im reassured this wasnt the case when I first called an hr ago, but she would be happy to order one online for me.5 stars for the store, -3 for the shady service.
Great ppl and great stuff
Always great, go when they have new release events!
Very spacious, and lots of cool stuff. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Biggest gamestops Ive ever been to, great selection on all kinds if gaming stuff
Best gamestop I have been to. Its big and they have much more beyond video games such as toys. Plus its connected to a Barnes&Noble and Starbucks.
Not only was I given space when I was intrested in just browsing I was also treated with respect while I was in the store. I really enjoyed going to gamestop as it is always a place where I feel I can ask my questions and I dont receive a lot of judgment for it. We were able to find a perfect game for a 9 year olds birthday but would also be something that my self would enjoy playing. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!
Cool store, biggest in the area and has lots of collectibles as well as games. Every time Ive ever gone in, Ive waited in line for 10-15 minutes because they have to try and upsell everyone multiple times per transaction.
Love this store! Of all the gamestop stores in plano/dfw area, this is the best! Great customer service every time! Never anything less than satisfied! Perfectly happy to make the 30 min drive every time I need my gamestop fix!
Nice location with good stuff and great value specially designed for all 👍👍👍👍👍👍
This GameStop is the worse GameStop I’ve ever been too.. they can NEVER find anything... I had a warranty on my phone that I purchased there and it took them an hour or so to even retrieve after telling me numerous time they couldn’t pull it up with my powerhouse reward card...and another instance was when I called them to let them know I didn’t have a receipt for a exchange and they told me they could just look it up by my power rewards card or the serial number and when I get there they say it’s not possible for them to look it up that way... they tell you stuff you wanna hear...
Often times busy but the staff is always helpful.
Great selection of games and collectibles. This place has a lot of shirts, figures, and other items any video game, comic, anime fan may want. Staff is always friendly and helpful!
Kind of busy but efficiently done getting games ready ahead of time
I was in line this morning for the NES got mine, but waited around on my sister to arrive. I went back up to the register and asked the guy if they might have any on hold for my sister because I wanted to pay for hers and he said they had nothing left in the store. I did see him turn away about 6 people. So I went out to my car to wait on my sister. She goes in and he says the same thing to her. While shes in the store another guy walks in with 2 PS controllers and when we start to leave the guy comes out with an NES. Floored!!!I understand holding items for people isnt fair, but he held one and turned a lady away that had been waiting in line when he still had 1 left. Then this guy walks in and he comes out with one; he didnt have to wait like the rest of us did. Yes, this all happened between 9:35am and 9:45am. He supposedly sold out in 12 min. They opened @ 9.
Wait time forever as one is the employees runs to the back to talk to one of his friends, leaving one alone with a full store. In line with a collectable, game and a few comics, walked out with nothing. I see one of the many reasons this company is going out of business.
Twice within 24 hours, not a single Hold Request could be fulfilled. When confronted over the phone when the 2nd request couldnt be fulfilled, I was given this excuse: we were holding it for another customer. First, thats not how the system works, you were supposed to hold based on Hold Request queue; and two, how conveniently enough for it is to happen TWICE within 24 hours?
Extremely rude staff! They kept questioning why I wasnt buying what they kept insisting I should get. I do not recommend this place at all.
Only Game Stop Ill shop at. Always amazing & helpful staff and always have what I need. Plus they have best hours.
They had a Kirby plush 5/5
Good price and variety. Kind and helpful staff.
They were very useful and let me know where i could find a copy of the game i was searching for.
I would highly recommend this GameStop. The manager and staff are friendly, polite, and they helped me find exactly what I was looking for. A+ service!
They have a diverse selection of used software.
This location has a ton of collectible merchandise. Friendly and helpful employees as well.
You pay double the price for a used game which you can buy it new on amazon for half the price gamestop is only good for buying consoles and gift cards
Good sized store with a large variety of options.
Love all the game choices they have
Great customer service. And is really big so u can find a lot of different games.👍
Staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would definitely bring my son back here.
Great place to purchase games and collectibles. I always come to this location.
Largest one Id ever been in and theres a bookstore connected to it
Huge store favorite gamestop in metroplex
Our favorite gamestops of all times.*always clean and organized*friendly, professional staff*good deals
The worker are so friendly and nice, the cashier speaks Spanish and that is a plus for me 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Went for the HTC vive demo, nice store the employees were helpful
Love this GameStop and the people here.
Friendly, nice. Sometimes can’t find games that are in stock.
Really bad customer service did do anything to help me out to top it off the manager lied to me. Both had really bad attitudes.
I showed up to this location to try the HTC Vive and was turned away by the store manager. I told the manager I traveled from out of state and was leaving early the next morning to go back home, and she still refused to let me try the device. I thought that was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will report this manager, and and I will NOT be buying an HTC Vive from Gamestop. Congrats Gamestop, you just loss a customer for your horrible customer service!
Great selection with awesome holiday deals!
Good selection and friendly staff. Its right next door to Barnes & Noble too, so you can get a book to go with your video game!
Super helpful staff. Big for a gamestop
