We worked with Mark at Metroplex Remodeling on an extensive remodel in the main part of our house in 2019 and had a great experience, so we sought him out again this year for a complete remodel of our master bath and bedroom and also an additional full bath. As was our experience the first time, he and his team did an awesome job and kept the project moving forward, even working during the February ice storm. We still have a few rooms and one full bath left, so I’m sure we’ll be back for round three in the future. We highly recommend his company!

In February of this year, during the deep freeze, we had seven busted pipes, resulting in the need for a total remodel. We called on Mark Brazil, who had completed the remodel of two bathrooms and a wet bar two years ago as we were so impressed with the quality of his work. Within one month, we had a new kitchen, laundry room, and butler pantry. Mark and his son, Daniel, helped us every step of of the way choosing cabinets, flooring, backsplash, and appliances. Anytime I think of the R word for remodeling I get chills. Notwithstanding the cost to remodel, but the result(s) of the intended remodeling objective which is a product that you expect to get for the price paid is always our main concern. That being said, we contracted Mark for a complete remodel of our bathroom and bedroom. After 27 years, our bathroom and bedroom had taken a toll. We met with Mark and worked up the plan we had and with his assistance took us to make our materials selections, a total of 3 places. One of the things we appreciated was the constant communication and the flexibility to make changes to our original design.Mark was able to accommodate our needs throughout the process. My house needed quite a bit of work when I bought it 14yrs ago and between economics and divorce I just couldnt tackle projects that were not designated emergencies. I was nervous never having hired a contractor before and got bids from 4 people before I decided to pull the trigger. Im so glad I picked metroplex, they communicated with me every step of the way, and the end results surprised me and Mark ;) I did white subway tile all the way around the room and the tile guy was outstanding - I cant find even a minor defect in miles of tile. My teenage boys have been asking to send photos of their new bathroom to their friends they are so Jazzed.EDITED (9/4/19) - I scheduled another renovation with metroplex to tackle my master bath, my masted bedroom (no photos yet, still decorating) and my hall linen closet. I think the results speak for themselves and for such a tiny bathroom it now feels luxurious - I expect I will be hiding out from my teens in the bathroom often!

Mark has performed several projects for me over the past decade including multiple wood floor installs, 16 ft floor to ceiling fireplace stone work, stair railing bannister staining, and stair spindle replacement, full interior room and cabinet painting, and 3 full bathroom remodels. I think the fact that I continue to use him and recommend him to my friends and family should speak for itself. Above all he communicates throughout the project and is super responsive and when things don’t go as planned as will happen from time to time no matter how well you plan, he does his best to make it right. I will continue to use Mark and recommend him to anyone who values quality and appreciates regular communication throughout the project.

Outstanding work! Mark is the best contractor I’ve ever used. He is always available for questions, friendly and respectful. I had my cabinets re-stained and Juan knocked it out of the park. Also had my kitchen floors and backsplash redone.I needed my stairs redone because the guy that did the initial work used the wrong wood and built them structurally wrong. Mark’s crew corrected everything and my stairs look beautiful.Everything looks better than I imagined!! The cost was very competitive and the work was done quickly. Would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone!

I had to have my hall bath remodeled. I ended up calling Mark Brazil at Metroplex Remodeling. They did a great job on my bath remodel. He helped me and my vision come to fruition. If a problem arose (which always happens during a remodel), he solved it! He gave me ideas and suggestions when I needed them. Even after completion and final payment made, I found some touch ups. We updated our kitchen and some had some new custom cabinets built in our family room. While the open concept floor plan is fantastic for living, it can be a nightmare for updating. We needed tons of guidance, and Mark was with us every step of the way. Theyre wonderful to work with, and we are so pleased with our home. Our initial search for a remodeling company/general contractor was challenging, but our fifth and final consultation was with Mark Brazil, and we knew we had found our guy. Mark offered a ton of personalized suggestions and showed a genuine interest in helping with our project, not only getting the work done, but also in helping with many design ideas like an interior designer. Communication is critical in such a large project, with so many moving parts, and he was always accessible and eager to help. He was also flexible after we decided to add new cabinets to the project in the kitchen, wet bar, and half bath. His crew, led by Miguel, was excellent to work with and was basically at our house six days a week for a month. They were respectful of the disruption to our daily life and kept things as clean as possible. The job finished in time and on budget as well, something we’ve been told by friends is rare with these types of projects. We would recommend Metroplex Remodeling without reservation and will be using them for additional projects in 2020.
