We recently had our entire kitchen torn out to the bare walls and completely redone with new cabinets, floors, granite, backsplash, lighting, appliances and the fireplace. We didnt know where or how to get started and talked about it for year and finally came across Tile & Stone Design Center. We went in and looked around talking with John. He said just put a flag in the ground and pick 1 thing and then build from there. We did and it worked and off we went. He said 1 month and it was 1 month. He listened to his team and they listened to him to ensure we were getting what we wanted. We have used Stefano at Tile & Stone for two major remodel projects at our home during the past several years. A few years ago Stefanos team remodeled our kitchen. Of course with any project there were challenges and on a couple of occasions when things did not go as planned, Stefano owned it and made sure it was changed to our liking. We recently contracted again with Stefano for a major bath remodel, we got several quotes and because of our good experience with the kitchen remodel we again chose Stefano for this project. Please do not be fooled by the high rating!!! Extremely disappointed in this company. I called to get a quote for 2 bathrooms and a kitchen - what could be a substantial amount of work for a company. The person I spoke to said that just the one small 6’x8’ bathroom which needs only cosmetic work would be over $10,000. I’m disgusted. It does not cost over $10,000 to paint walls, one cabinet, and change out tile. He then refused to even send someone out to look at what needs to be done and give a proper quote. Totally unprofessional.Update: in response to the “owner” - it’s impossible to give a quote when you do not have any measurements and do not know what material will be used or what exactly needs to be done. You did not even discuss options, you just gave a blanket price. I guarantee it is not $10,000 to paint walls and replace 20 SF of tile flooring. You have now missed out on potentially 10s of thousands of dollars for a serious 3+ room project because of your greed and dismissiveness. You can call it whatever you want but you were not being honest. You simply did not want to do the work and you’ve lost revenue and profit because of your arrogance.

Great experience. Management stayed on top of the job, providing answers and whatever else was needed to complete the remodel. As a result, we have a beautiful new guest bathroom. Thank you, Stefano, and all the contractors who worked together to get the job done. Hopefully, we will have more projects in the future and will not hesitate to contact Star Home Remodeling.

Stefano first remodeled our master bath four years ago. We worked together on design and colors, and it came out perfect. We were so happy with Stefanos work that we had him redo our guest bath, and again, we could not be more pleased. The end result was beautiful and we couldnt be happier. The use of high quality materials such as quartz, marble-look porcelain tile, and plank porcelain tile on the bathroom floor, also repeated in a border on the shower floor, coordinated the look. Our ideas were skillfully executed by Adolfo, their tile craftsman. The plumbing was moved without incident and everything works perfectly. Stefano and his guys did a GREAT job on my house remodel.I was initially planning on having an extensive kitchen and master bath remodel donne before moving into my house - and then renovating the remainder of the house in sections at later dates. During the inital design and layout discussions, Stefano and I agreed that the optimal kitchen layout would necessitate moving one wall and removing another in order to open the kitchen and den into a unified single great room with configuration that would best suit my needs. As the wall being removed was determined to be a load bearing wall, Stefano arranged a structural engineer to assess the needs to maintain structural integrity of the house - additional beam installation, costs, etc before the work on the house began. I appreciated Stefanos attention to detail throughout these discussions and - as the structural work was reviewed and approved (and my multiple changes made) - he was patient to ensure things were going to be exactly the way I wanted them. As the work began, and I saw the quality and attention to detail of the work Star Home Remodeling was doing and decided to go ahead and finish out the rest of the house before moving in. My remodel of a 3K sq. ft house included complete demolition and new layout of kitchen (with a load bearing wall removed and another wall relocated) and master bath (w/spectacular shower), addition of a wine bar, new wood and tile flooring throughout the house, all new cabinetry and appliances; matching granite in kitchen, wine bar, and all 3 bathrooms. Additionally, every wall and ceiling in the house was resurfaced to include new recessed ceiling light fixtures, ceiling fans, etc. Throughout the entire process, I appreciated that the crews showed up to work on time and ready to work, verified with Stefano and me any questions they had, and also cleaned up the construction debris at the end of every day. Anyone who visits my house is very impressed with the end result - especially those who have seen both the before and after.The only reason Im rating Star Home Remodeling as a 5 on the scale of 1 to 5 is because the system wont allow me to rate them an 8 on this scale.

Our primary project was a tub to shower conversion and update of our guest bath, and smaller improvements of our other two baths. Stefano’s suggestions and guidance were extremely helpful. Im sure everyone goes through the same questions and concerns when selecting a vendor for a substantial renovation to their home. Im I going to like the work? Can I trust the company? Will they try to upcharge me during the installation process? We are extremely happy we selected Tile & Stone Design Center to update our Master Bathroom including stone/tile shower, and install granite counter tops in other bathrooms. Pricing was very fair and Stefano worked with us very closely in the design process. Even when we encountered a minor design issue, Stefano stepped up to the plate and corrected it at his own expense. Adolfo, the tile technician is very talented and did an incredible job. We would strongly recommend Tile & Stone Design Center. In fact, we decided to change our kitchen backsplash too after seeing the level of work on the bathroom.

My family and I were getting our counters redone here. We had already started the process and given them half of the money (per their company policy to begin work.) We had an appointment scheduled for them to come to our home and measure our countertops to get an exact fitting; and they didnt show up! We cleared our entire morning to have the house ready for them and to be there while they measured. After like an hour of waiting, we called the store... It turns out that they forgot to come! How unprofessional! The employees at the store were apologetic, but they cant truly do anything about it. Three days after the incident, we had yet to hear anything from the owner with regards to an apology. I decided to email him requesting some accountability. Instead of an apology and a desire to fix their issue, he responded suggesting that we just terminate our contract with them... again, HOW UNPROFESSIONAL. Save your money and your time and go somewhere else like we did.

My experience with this company started June 2009 with granite counter tops in the kitchen. This included an under mount stainless steel sink. There were a few hiccups with the installation regarding time and showing up, but for the most part went ok. I went on to have them install tile on the floors of my master bath, guest bath and laundry room. Those went great. Then 3 years after the kitchen was done the sink fell out of the counter top. Since I rarely had more than a plate or two in the sink at one time I was shocked. I contacted a representative of the the design center and was told, Well that sometimes happens and we can come reinstall it for $125.00 or you can have someone else do it. I called around and it would take 2 weeks for another company to come out, and since my sink was being held up by a 4X4 piece of wood I put under it I told the design center to come fix it. Now here it is 2 years after that repair the sink fell out again! That is twice in 5 years!! July 3 same answer from the design center.. we will come fix it for another $125 and will be a week before repair can be done. Wow....well I wasnt about to spend more money with them. I spoke to several granite installation companies who were surprised about the first falling sink and astounded by the second fall. Each representative asked who the company was and why they werent fixing it at no charge for either repair. Needless to say I wondered the same thing.
