Visited Michael at Cajun Gunsmith for the first time today. I am very happy that I found such a great place to service my gun. Michael is very friendly and professional. He finished the work pretty quickly while I wait and I am satisfied with the work. His price is great. Will be my go to place for firearm services.

I visited Michael the Cajun Gunsmith to get my sights installed and Michael is very professional and knowledgeable about gunsmithing, choosing rather to do things the right way and more carefully than just rush through the job. His prices are very fair and I am glad I waited to get work done from him. He works out of his home in Plano in a quiet neighborhood and when he schedules with you, he can do the work then and there which I appreciated. No having to leave your gun unless the job would take a lot longer. He is very friendly and welcoming and I do recommend him for your gunsmithing needs.

Great guy to do business with, the quality of his work is great and the prices for his services are extremely reasonable. Just make sure to email or text him how many projects he has ahead of him before you drop off your gun because I had to wait almost a month and a half to get my gun back. That is not his fault whatsoever, its my fault for not asking and due to political factors and Covid he was swamped with work. Regardless I recommend cajun gunsmith 100%.

Amazing work. I’m a first time AR owner and was hesitant to do my own hand-guard swap with a front sight post in the way. I came in and Micheal was very welcoming and even gave me tips as he was modifying my gun for me. In and out in less than 30 mins. Definitely will be coming back for future builds!

Michael is absolutely awesome! His responses were quick to set up my appointment to do an upgrade to my MK18 upper. He did a perfect job in less than 30 minutes while we carried on a great conversation. Very professional and follows COVID protocol. Moving from California I thought finding a gunsmith to Un-California my rifle would be a tough process, but Michael made it seamless. Great find! Super nice guy, highly capable and very reasonable rates. I had Michael perform some upgrades to my AR and I couldnt be happier with both his capabilities as well as the pleasant conversation while I waited. The install threw him a couple of curve balls (gun and parts related, not his issue at all) and his experience allowed him to improvise and find a way to get the job done. Hanging out at his bench and watching him work was a real bonus as I learned a lot! Dont be intimidated by or concerned about this being an in-home business - hes the real deal!
