Came in here for my first time today with my husband, found a couple of Colts I’ll be keeping a eye on. They truly have a wide selection of different gun to choose from. It’s a lot to take in but that’s the fun of it all for me personally.It kinda amazes me cause their shelf’s are full of gun to buy, plenty to choose from too.I love how friendly the staff is and willing to take some time to talk about different guns. If one person doesn’t know about a certain gun they have another person who will know about it. I’ll definitely be looking forward to coming back in and seeing the new guns that come in. Found the elusive 7 Round Benelli M4 Magazine tube at great price!!! Ive looked for months trying to find one of these but when you find one they are way overpriced $300-$400 on auction websites and out of stock everywhere else. Did an online search for local gun stores and found Mister Guns after a few emails they had these in stock at an amazing price. Thanks for keeping prices reasonable during COVID times.

I visited this store for the first time recently to have some engraving done. It is a somewhat small retail space but it is loaded with inventory. It took a while to get through the 2 customers ahead of me but that gave me plenty of time to observe how the employees handled themselves and dealt with their customers. It did not take long at all to see that the folks working here are knowledgeable, professional and friendly. When it was my turn they made sure they understood what I was looking to have done and helped me through the short process. Multiple confirmations were made before any work was performed which is both good business practice for them and reassuring for the customer. The end result was perfect, exactly what I was looking for.It is not often that I am surprised by things anymore and it is even more rare for me to be surprised by something positive. Sad commentary on the world these days but it’s the truth based on my experiences. With that being said, the folks working there showed me an unrequested and unexpected act of kindness that I can only now describe as overwhelming. For them it was likely a small sacrifice given the nature of the act (details of which do not matter for the purpose of this review) but for me it had an immense impact. Mister Guns has now earned a place in my mind as a go-to, a place that should be considered ‘in the mix’ when you are shopping around. I have already started recommending them to my like-minded friends and I urge anyone reading this to give them a shot. Pun intended. If I could rate them higher I would.

Great little shop.They are currently doing daily Flash sales and I noticed the Taurus G2C that I’ve been eyeing for a while.Great price so I had to jump on it.Was indeed busier since it was a Saturday afternoon, but still in and out within 20 min.Recommend to anyone who’s in the area for sure.

I’m not a big review guy, but as a retail manager I know how important a positive online presence can be, and how volatile negative reviewers can be at times.I’ve been a customer for 4 years now, and I wouldn’t shop anywhere else. I went in this morning and was able to score one of the handguns on my bucket list, an HK45. It was at a fair price, and they had quality ammo available as well! Grant was very friendly and attentive, with an attention to detail.I know the past 14 months have been tough, but keep fighting the good fight, y’all. Can’t wait to see the new shop!

Great inventory at great prices. Staff is on top of taking care of you the second you step foot in the door. It’s refreshing to see quality parts on the shelf, and not the traditional box store/Fudd Gun shop junk. Worth making a drive out to see them.

Went to the SilencerShop kiosk at Mr. Guns. Being the kind of guy I am I just had to look at their inventory and was pleased. Boone was very helpful and informative the guys in the back flat out ignored me and my questions for the kiosk but then it was Boone to the rescue. This place is pretty small Id love to see them grow and get a bigger place to hold all the cool stuff they have.

This place is a complete and utter joke. No customer service skill whatsoever. I was gonna make a hefty purchase with y’all but your establishment and everyone employed laughed and snickered as I browsed around. Simply asking questions. I’m not a master of firearms (who is?) but you don’t treat people like that. Oh and they have a female at the counter who loves to flirt it up and help her boy toy on the job but doesn’t have time to help me. I kid you not there was snickering, negativity, neglect, and gutter water customer service. Respectfully, put the puppies away ma’am. And actually work the counter. Owners a total joke as well. If only y’all knew the net profit you would have made off of earning my business. Your loss my gain. Gunmaster in Plano is superior to this location. I repeat… Gunmaster in Plano is a next step in the evolutionary chain compared to Mister Guns. Mister Guns is at the bottom of the primordial ooze. Pathetic. Absolute dumpster fire of a store. It’s about the size of a very small business, liquor store start up. So you’re packed in like sardines. Fun times here Mr. Gun. Fun times indeed.

Alright now! Even though its a half hour or more drive from me, Mister Guns is now my 1st choice in local-gun-store shopping. Between my brother and myself, weve gotten nothing but top shelf service from everyone there. Dr. Boone(almost certain hes not really a doctor) has repeatedly gone out of his way to find what I needed, even if the other half wasnt currently in-stock. Great deals on new guns, fair prices on used guns(based on condition), and plenty of necessary accessories scattered about. Made buying a Form-4 silencer so easy my little brother could(and did) do it, and Dr. Boone himself did a STELLAR job on laser-engraving the Form-1 silencers I made(legally) for myself. At this point, I wouldnt trust anyone else with my NFA questions/engraving/purchases. Last night, I bought something out of state to be transferred through them. I could have gotten a transfer for a few dollars cheaper, but not without having less peace of mind. They even employ an EXPERT on the use, safety, and effectiveness of modern defensive ammunition! 10/10 would recommend.

Bought my first firearm. Started small for easy gun range practice. The bigger guns are harder for me to handle. Staff was friendly. Ammo shortages so you are limited on how much you can buy.

I need to make a correction to my review. They had plenty of inventory, Guns, but like everyone else no ammo. What I didnt like was the prices, higher than other places Ive visited.

Wife and I decided to do AR builds. Looking for parts and ammo. A friend told me about Mister Guns. I immediately got on their (very nice, very well thought out website) and made a purchase to pick up in store. I received confirmation emails very quickly regarding my purchase. (Within 30 minutes) After work I drove over. Store was busy but not uncomfortable busy. Just folks buying stuff and talking shop. While they did not have everything I need for my build ( Aero Precision lower) and uppers, they did have my ammo. Did not carb you really mans name but he was super nice and retrieved my order. Bagged it and gave me a purchase slip. We chatted quickly about the plans for our builds and he confirmed my choice in wanting a lower by Aero. I hope to be able to catch Mister Guns at the right time and buy the rest of the parts I need from them for both mine and wife’s build. At any rate I will continue to visit and support them. I have gone in several times for custom laser engraving. They have been friendly and accommodating each time. The quality of their workmanship is Excellent, and they do the work while I wait, not several days later, like most shops!

I went in to have a lower engraved for NFA purposes. The process was very easy and very fast. I was in and out in about 10-15 minutes. They had a decent selection of parts to browse while I was waiting. My only complaint is that the store is a little small, but the staff was very friendly and the engraving was fast and done right. Will be back for parts later!

Recently the demand for firearms peaked and they noticed... Their response... Jack up the prices and limit the amount of people in the store to 5... Only three employees working though... That means you will stand in line during Texas summer for a while, finally get inside to wait for an employee then pay triple the value.... For convenience!

This is how a gun shop should be run. Employees are very casual but also helpful, not forceful. The store is small but everything is well packaged and they have a good selection of common firearms. Not everything is behind a glass window, giving you the opportunity to play with several firearms and compare yourself without having to ask an employee to get them for you. Lots of accessories but ammo selection could be better.

I made my first visit to Mister Guns on 11/16/19 based on the positive reviews. It was a very good experience. Their store front is small but theyve got an impressive selection of firearms, parts, and accessories inside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Some gun stores are aloof to their customers; none of that at Mister Guns. I will definitely do business with them again even though it is almost an hour drive for me!

AWESOME FUDD-FREE GUNSTORE WITH FRIENDLY STAFF. 5 stars because I couldnt give it 6. Grant and company were great yesterday afternoon 10/28. I had been looking for an Arex Rex Delta locally to no avail. After determining some were in stock on their website shop.misterguns, I drove right over. They werent even out of the shipping box yet but Grant got me taken care of quite rapidly and I was out the door a few minutes later with my new pew. Great selection of new and used guns. However, one small complaint. I wish the store was a little bigger because they do get busy at times and there’s not enough room to view their solid selection of guns. That said, it’s still one of my favorite local stores.

Ordered 1000 rounds online, only 820 rounds showed up at my door. Owner went above and beyond to correct the issue and sent me the ammo that UPS lost.

My first experience was very positive and resulted in my purchase of a great revolver at an excellent price. The guys were pretty laid back, knowledgeable and friendly and the store is packed with a lot of inventory. Surprisingly large selection of firearms and accessories. Been wanting an M1 and will probably get it here! Support local small businesses, especially ones like this who are completely worthy of our business!

I recently came in to place an AR15 on layaway at what is already a bargain price. Then a few days later I call about an inquiry about smithing service. They may not do so on sight but directed me to a decent place they use. I’d call that superb customer service relations. You guys have a lifetime customer.

The store lived up to their promise. A lot of gun stores say they will price match, but then they actually dont. This place did without any hassle, really. The stores a little out of the way for me, but I like to try and support local brick and mortar stores. Each time Ive gone the staff has been friendly and theyve let me look around without bothering me. And since they lived up to their price match promise Ill definitely buy another firearm from them. All in all, if youre considering buying a firearm, you should give these guys a try.

Their prices are fair and they carry a great selection of high quality guns and gear. If you are not signed up for their email distribution list you are missing out. They have great deals on used guns as well as new ones.

I dont understand why I experience such a horrible customer service when I walked into Mister Guns. I heard many good things about this store, and was recommended to stop by here by another gun store. There was three employees working that day. A person with glasses, a women, and a bigger gentlemen. I apologize for not knowing their names, but this is how ill be referring how each employee interacted with me. I walked in without being greeted by any of the employees, as the employees greeted other customers walking in. I was browsing with the intent of purchasing a new EDC handgun. I saw a Sig 365 for sale at the far right side of the counter, and wanted to buy it with cash in hand. After that I step in line behind a customer. Who was talking with the one of the employee with glasses about purchasing one of their handguns. After the employee was done with his sale. I stepped up to the counter. Then the employee with glasses proceeded to clean off the counter from his previous sale. He picked up all the handguns that were in cases, and acknowledges me by smiling at me. I couldnt smile back, since I had a mask on. So I gave him a thumbs up. He gathered everything, went to the back, and disappears for the remainder of the time I was there. I stood there at the counter for about 15 minutes, as I observed the bigger gentlemen. Who was assisting another customer who was there before I was. After he was finished assisting his customer. He made eye contact with me, and looks away immediately. He continues to fiddle with something behind the counter, as I was standing at the counter. After his customer walks out another customer walks in and he greets that customers and continues to assist the new customer. I was confused on why he didnt assist me next, but I didnt flag him down. Since I didnt want to be rude. Then the third employee walks in. It seemed like the woman employee was on a lunch break and just returned. She placed all her stuff down until she was ready. I waited patiently until she was done. Then she proceeds to stand behind the counter directly in front of me, but towards the back wall away from the counter. Doesnt say anything and avoid eye contact. Until another customer who came in right after she was done placing all her belonging down. She immediately jumps onto the new customer who walked in with excitement. At this point I was livid, as I was standing in that spot for nearly an hour. The customer she was assisting was doing engraving for his firearms. Which I was shocked, as I was looking for local gun stores to do engraving for my firearms as well. She started to have a conversation with that customer for sometime. I again waited patiently for her to finish up without interrupting her. After she collected all of the customers parts that are being engraved she went to the back. She returned back to the same spot exact spot staring at me without saying a single word. After this point I decided to say something. She approached me with a face expression as if I was diseased or something. I dont want to say she approached me with disgusted, but I didnt get that excitement she treated other customers. At this point I didnt want to buy the Sig 365 anymore and wanted to take my business else where. I asked a question I knew the answer too and walked out. I took my business back to Rifle Gear and bought a different hand gun over there, Since they treated me well. I felt like I was discriminated and disrespected at this store. After reading all of Mister Guns one stars reviews. It lined up with my experience that I had. Its mind boggling how a store would treat a customer like that with a high reputation. As of now ill be taking my business else where. I hope this business will continue to provide great customer service towards other customers. According to their five star reviews.

If you look young and are not dressed out in any gun appeal that screams Im carrying these guys wont even greet you at the door. They wont ask you if you need help or anything at all. Hell, they wont even say have a nice day after you leave. My friend didnt believe me when I told him about my previous experience there but when I took him he started to laugh about how accurate I am. Ill never go there again and be treated as if Im a child who doesnt know anything.

At first it looks like a hole-in-the-wall gun store. After walking in and spending some time with the staff, you’ll find them to be knowledgeable and helpful. The price is pretty good, too. I tend to buy at my local brick and mortar stores when I can, as I really like having he convenience of the local store along with their knowledgeable staff that I could ask questions about.They are trying to open up a gun range along with the gun store, so another reason to support them!

I was surprised to find out its extra 3% increase from the price tag if paid with Credit Card. Not a big deal just extra $24.99 but they should warn the customer when they asked if I want to pay with Credit, Debit, or Cash. Anyways, the nice lady and the gentlemen were nice enough to offer me a solution to avoid the extra 3% charge on the transaction. But never mind, I will when I go back to shop more next time. However, they deserve the 5 stars for their customer service and taking the initiative to help customer save.

This is a fantastic place for anyone interested in guns.I came in today with an old 22 Squirrel rife that was left to me by my Great Uncle Wayne.Didnt need it; and frankly, I didnt want it around the house with grandsons coming in and out of the house. Over the Summer, they had found it and expressed TOO MUCH INTEREST in it. Lucky for me.I brought it to the right place to sell it. The staff quickly showed me examples of it online and determined the current selling price for it. They evaluated the gun and determined what they could sell it for in the store. Made me a good offer and cut me a check. I would do business with them in the future and highly recommend them over other pawn shops and gun shops I have dealt with in Dallas.

This shop goes above and beyond with help and answering emails and questions, great atmosphere and employees.. Will be my go to shop.

I was in the market for a new pocket carry pistol and decided to check out Mister Guns because of the positive customer service reviews I had read online. I was not disappointed at all!The gentleman at Mister Guns was super friendly. He answered every question I asked openly and honestly. Even more important to me, as someone relatively new to shooting and gun ownership, the gentleman in no way made me feel stupid, unmacho, wimpy, etc. for not knowing everything about guns. He understood the type of consumer I was and helped guide me accordingly. He didnt try to sell me something I didnt need and didnt want.As an added bonus, since I was looking for a pocket pistol, he let me put the pistol in my pocket both with and without a holster. He didnt flinch when I asked. He knew it was part of my purchase decision to feel comfortable with the weapon, and he accommodated me accordingly.If you want a low pressure, friendly experience at a gun store, go to Mister Guns. You wont regret it.

I went into this store for the first time Sunday to purchase a particular pistol. Unfortunately the one I bought did not have the feature I thought it would. (I know I know, I should have slowed down and researched more) However, once I got up the courage to go back into the store and admit my mistake the owner did me a solid and basically just exchanged it for a pistol that did have the feature I wanted and paid me back the difference. Also, they have really great prices on ammo compared to other stores in the area (and online) at least for the calibers I was looking for. Friendly staff willing to work with the customer. First time customer that will become a regular customer for sure.
