The employees were very enthusiastic and courteous. I enjoy browsing through the movies and there was a decent selection. They have video games as well but I didnt look at those. Prices seem similar to what you would pay on Amazon or ebay for a used movie, but no shipping charges and you get it immediately. Plus its always good to help out local businesses.

Helpful, personable staff and great stock. I love going in once in awhile to see what new/old/weird stuff I can find. Also one of the few places to get vinyl.

Never know what selection will be in stock. They keep the place pretty clean and everything is alphabetized in the categories that are set up around the store . It was neat being able to walk around and see the selection in the store.I think that some of the staff members could be more friendly but other than that not a bad experience.

My partner loves his DVD collections, and this place been for him is heaven for dvds. Any movie or show you want, you will find it even if its not at the store they will help u find it at a different location or they will have it delivered to the store and you can pick it up

I like this place. I have been able to find spur of the moment videos I have wanted in stock, at this or one of their other locations. The staff are always very nice and sincerely wanting to help, but will let you do all the looking you want. I have never felt unwelcome and that is important these days. Pricing is right for hard to find videos. I have bought many used videos and never had one issue. Plus they have some cool merchandise as well.

I shouldnt have to tell you about this place. Their sales are awesome, their staff is knowledgeable, patient and kind, and I always find something Ive never heard of. Great place to dig up old, rare anime. Oh! And they rent just about everything in the store.

Dont buy games from here. They resurface them and increase the likelihood of the game freezing mid game play. Usually well into the game which take a while to complete and when you findout the disc doesnt load pass that point then you are out of your return timeframe.

Its a tad small compared to the Lewisville location but the people are super friendly.

Their selection is great and their service in finding what youre looking for is quick and responsive.

WHAT A COOL PLACE! In an era where you cant find alot of your favorite stuff from a streaming service (or worse, you have to subscribe to several) this place is a gift. New and used games and movies for rent or sale. They even have an option where you can purchase, bring it back in a few for a refund, and they only deduct the rental fee (very cool). Very knowledgeable staff, just waiting to help!

Great experience!Staff: greeted as soon I walked in the door. Friendly, helpful.Brought in quite a bit of DVD/Blu-rays and expected to be there for a long time while they did their review. Was told 10-15 minutes but I actually ended up waiting only about 5 minutes. I’d say 95% of the DVDs were purchased and with a decent return.Their in-store selection of items was pretty decent too, a few items I’ll probably come back and purchase.Thanks!

Everyone is always really kind, and seems to enjoy their work here. As a collector, I really cant recommend MTC enough if youre searching for a rarer find. Even if they dont have one in the store you visit, theyre willing to check other stores in the area and even ship the product to you.This location in particular has a great selection and variety, and clearly takes pride in its merchandise. You wont be sorry.

Always love to come here. My boyfriend and I have gotten many movies here. We also Ive had to replace our PS3 remote a time or two. We have tried refurbished remotes, and when they havent worked out, we return them without issue (with receipt and within 30 days). Just recently bought a NIB one which was even better. Im hoping that my son can have his first job here. I love this place

This movie trading comp. is amazing. The shelves are very neat and organized. They rent movie and games. The prices are very affordable, whether renting or owning. Of the several movies Ive purchased, Ive had no issues. Theyre also starting a new rewards program. They also sell trading cards (mtg, yugioh,etc.) and other nerdy things. The cashiers were both very easy going and didnt pressure me. I would greatly suggest visiting here if you have the chance.

We were looking for a specific game for our Super Nintendo. Unfortunately, it was not in stock at this location, but they were able to find it at another. They called and had it held for us. They are very knowledgeable and friendly here.

This place has THE HAPPIEST - and most helpful - employees. I was in today looking for a very specific Christmas movie that Ive been unable to find anywhere. I know buying DVDs is long out of style, but we still keep a big collection of them, and theres zero sense in paying full price. The folks at the counter are always helpful, and if one particular store doesnt have something, odds are one of the others does.

I bought a new CD last night at the Plano location off 75 & 15th. I realized only after I got home that my NEW disc I bought was warped and it wouldnt play in my CD players. The next day, Vincent (from the AM shift) helped me with an exchange. He checked the disc for me and let me look myself, and was very nice. I didnt feel rushed etc at all. The man who was there when I bought it was professional and courteous even though they were close to closing. Thanks MTC for having a good selection and great employees!

They are polite enough. But they rarely have what Im looking for. I generally prefer to go to FX Game Exchange first. I go to Movie Trading Company if the former doesnt have what Im looking for. But most of the time, I know I will be running around to all of MTCos sister locations, before I find what I need.They have a good return policy, which makes sense, because they dont quality check their gear. About half the time I have to repair or return the items Ive purchased there.

A dying breed of store. Good place to find used dvd/blue rays. Deserves a look if you have interests in sci-fi, anime, tv dramas, etc... think Hot topic runs a GameStop. Plenty of pop culture merch.
