I had a very great experience with Mr. Hale Ryan at Metroplex piano. He answered all my son’s question, provided detailed and accurate information to me. He was very patient with us. We did not feel any rush or push to purchase. We tried multiple pianos multiple time. Something I should mention is his piano knowledge. He not only knows his pianos very good but has a vast knowledge about other brands and models and can give you accurate comparison. I should say thank you to him for his help resulted in purchasing the best option fit to my son’s need.

We bought a Brodman upright piano few weeks ago and our son loves it. Hale took the time to show us few pianos and explained everything in detail. He was very helpful.

Ive never purchased an acoustic piano before so I didnt really know what I was doing. Hale was very patient and showed me several different pianos over the span of about 2 hours and explained the differences between all the different makes and models. In the end I believe that I made a very informed decision and was very happy with the piano I chose, a Seiler ED-186 in polished ebony with nickel hardware. Its a beautiful instrument, has absolutely amazing tone, and the price fit my budget. I would highly recommend Metroplex Piano if you are looking for a new piano, just ask for Hale!

There are few things I dislike more than shopping, especially for big-ticket items. For example, I bought my last car online, just to avoid the sales room drama. So when we decided to purchase a piano I researched models and dealers to death to ensure I would be prepared and armed for battle. We met Hale at Metroplex and he quickly put us at ease....zero pressure. He showed us the pianos Id asked to demo and let us play them without looking over our shoulders. He then suggested that we at least consider a few other instruments, not as an up-sell, but because he knew that there were likely instruments we might prefer that we hadnt considered. My wife and I are professional musicians, which Hale knew, so he understood we wouldnt be wowed by anything other than quality and value. We auditioned several other instruments and then left for home to consider our options. After a few days of research we decided to purchase one of the instruments we had not originally considered and felt confident that the instrument we chose was being offered at a terrific price. The purchase and financing was effortless and the delivery crew was courteous and professional. I really cant say enough positive things about our experience with Hale and Metroplex!

Just wanted to add an update to my first review.....Ive had my piano for 5 months now, and as with any new instrument, more frequent tuning and regulation is an important part of the break-in process. Hale and his team have promptly and courteously accommodated every service request Ive made since taking delivery...I couldnt be happier with the overall purchase experience!!

This was our first time shopping for a grand piano and we were overwhelmed by the process. Hale was so awesome and patient with us. He spent a couple of hours educating us about the piano buying process and selection. He was very detailed and thorough. Even after we left the store, he sent us lots of educational videos. He connected us with an accomplished pianist who spent time talking to us about the different piano brands. On the day we decided to purchase the piano, the store was closed and Hale opened the store just for us. Brandon from Metroplex Piano in Plano came out to tune our new Yamaha baby grand piano we purchased from Metroplex Piano in Keller. Brandon was very thorough and explained the process to us and made sure he took care of all the tuning issues as well as fixing a couple of keys that were sticking. He also played a bit on the piano to demonstrate the new in-tune sound and made sure it was to our liking before he left. Im a piano teacher in the area and have been teaching for 30+ years. I can say without a doubt he is the best, most knowledgable, friendliest (and youngest) tuner Ive ever had and I will recommend him to all of my students! I dont know much about Metroplex Piano in Plano, but I do know that they hit a home-run when they hired Brandon!

I wish I could give 100 stars. We went in today because of the liquidation sale for the LBJ store. Jordan, one of the techs greeted us, and was tremendously helpful in showing us around until our appointment started. Hale was our sales representative, and it was the most enjoyable experience Ive had in a piano showroom. Ive played every make of grand piano in every type of venue, and Hale knew EXACTLY which pianos I would love to play after asking me just two questions. He was tremendously helpful, and I could tell that he understood me as a customer and as an artist. He wanted me to experience the full range of their inventory; showing me pianos he believed would speak to me, even far below our price-range. We came in for a Steinway, and walked away with the most beautiful Pearl River piano that absolutely rocked my soul. In January of 2020, I purchased a Yamaha N2 Avantgrand Piano from Metroplex Piano in Plano, Tx. I worked with Hale (first name) and Tom. I would rate my whole experience as top notch and would highly recommend if you are looking to purchase a piano. First of all, Yamaha is the Toyota / Lexus of the piano space...amazing consistency and high quality (whether you are buying an inexpensive upright or a high end, hand crafted grand...Yamaha has you covered). From walking in the door up to the delivery, the experience was 5 star. Metroplex Piano is the only Yamaha Piano dealer in the DFW area, which gives them a competitive advantage.

I bought a piano recently from their new store. Hale was very good with the service during the sale and after the sale. After the sale I had a question on the left pedal. I suspected that it was not working well. Hale was prompt in replying and took time to send me online information and explained the working of a left pedal in an upright piano. I got the piano for a good price and the delivery was quick.

We have used Metroplex Piano several times to move our 76 grand piano and every time they have done an excellent job. This move took Rickey and Kenneth up steep front steps and we were all holding our breath! We need not have worried, because they were superb!! We will always call this company to move our piano.

Love the multiple pianos of the showroom floor, in the corner they have best of Yamaha grand and Bosendorfer. You are also welcome to play on them, just make sure you can pay though because everyone there can hear it!

I have been visiting Metroplex Piano for 3 years, dreaming of owning a high-end grand piano that would be able to respond to the intimate colors I need to create for advanced classical playing. Of course, my favorite piano is Bosendorfer, but one that was out of my reach. Hale Ryan has always been welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable on the latest and greatest advances in technology, etc. He always takes as much time as you need to explain in great detail the latest features on his new arrivals. In my quest to prepare for an upcoming competition next year, I was continually frustrated with my current instrument, and would wander back to the store to get my Bosey fix, and see what was currently available. Well, this week, I was serious, and still rather restricted in budget. But Hale found me the perfect 6-foot Johannes Seiler, that is absolutely delightful. It repeats like a Bosey, has the capability to produce incredible colors, and he worked out a deal just for me, because he knew how important it is to me to have a good instrument to work on. He also had his technician, Brandon, take extra special care on each and every note to make sure they were even, and bright enough. He was even sweet enough to come in on his day off when I had my final check before delivery. It arrived at my home today in mint condition, and I am just elated beyond all measure! Thank you Hale Ryan for being such a superb and caring person, and helping me achieve my dream!! Youre the BEST!!!

Hale. Ask for Hale. He is not a salesman, he is a piano matchmaker.My piano journey started with a phone call to Metroplex piano when I inquired about a Yamaha C7. To my dismay, Hale informed me that he did not have one in stock, but that there were similar pianos he could show me. I made the almost hour long trip over to Plano. I walked in the door and was warmly greeted my Hale, who seemed to know who I was after only a short conversation on the phone.At first I was expecting the used car salesman vibe, but after some brief conversation that trope was quickly dispelled. He explained to me his passion for matching pianists with their perfect piano. I went along with his story still cautious of an aggressive sales pitch, which would have immediately turned me off. That sales pitch never came.Instead, Hale asked me about my sound preferences and budget. I did my best to describe the sound I was looking for. By this time I had played piano for over 12 years, but it was only 2 months ago that I had ever seen the inside of a piano. Suffice it to say that I knew nothing about pianos, only how to play them. Hale patiently taught me about everything about pianos from specific brand characteristics to piano logistics.My budget was fairly modest. The pianos that Hale directed me to didnt really impress me much. I had a finer taste even if I didnt know it. I would have just stuck with my Yamaha G3 and left the piano store after that point if it wasnt for an off-the-cuff remark that Id sell me car to get a better piano. We both clearly knew it was a joke but Hale understood what I was really getting at. If a piano was good enough, Id buy it.He took to the back right corner of the store and showed me all the best pianos in the world. Some ranging in the 300k range. I was surprised that he let me play on them. I played on each of them and he patiently waited. We discussed each pianos qualities afterward. I knew I was in some special territory, but I could never have imagined what would come next.By that time, Hale knew what I wanted, even if I didnt. This time he told me to go stand by the right side opening of the piano and he would play. Expecting to prepare to give an academic summary of what I heard, I focused in intently. The very first sound wave came out of the piano and hit my ear. My heart immediately melted. It was a sound Id never heard before, and it touched the inner sanctum of my soul (which is not easy to do). My brain stopped functioning for a few seconds and I was completely lost in the warmth of the sound coming out of the piano. I wasnt hearing a piano - I was hearing music itself. I didnt know piano brand. Hale told me it was a SEILER 208, handmade in Germany. It was incredible. It was the sound I always wanted to hear but could never imagine.Closing time came and went and we were the only ones left in the store an hour later. It became time to say our goodbyes.Throughout that keep the sound kept haunting me. I knew I had to have that piano, but I was being modest with my budget, so Hale did not know my intentions. By the next week, I brought my friend up to Metroplex piano to hear the same piano I heard to make sure it wasnt just me who was completely traumatized by the sound resonating from the SEILER 208. He heard it and like me, had to try with all his might to keep a tear from escaping his eye.Hale was delighted to see me that day, because we realized we had so much in common when it came to our piano preferences, and other hobbies. I knew then that I had to have this piano, but we soon found out that Hale got 2 other SEILER 208s in. I played on each of them and they were fantastic, but they didnt quite have what I wanted. Im running out of room to type on this review so Ill wrap up. It took me three weeks to finally buy the piano and Hale stuck with me throughout the whole process and really took my side through the many ups and downs that came. I highly recommend Hale.I would write more but google wont let me. Thank you, Hale. I will remember for the rest of my life.
