On Monday, 9/20/21 I was driving my 98 Jeep from my parents home in NC to my home in FL after a 10 day vacation, approximately a 10 hour trip. While on I95, I had a mechanical issue (turned out the serpentine belt came off due to the power steering pulley breaking) around noon while driving. I was able to get off on the exit and find their shop. I walked in, spoke with Brad behind the counter, explained what happened and he was very upfront that, if he could get to it today, it would be later in the afternoon/evening if it all because he was backed up with work. He proceeded to make recommendations and even called other mechanics in the area to see if they could look at the car but no one could. As I was on my phone looking for other mechanics/options, Tommy came in, heard about my issue/situation and went to my Jeep and looked to see what the issue was. He saw the issue right away and again, was very upfront that he didnt know if he could get the parts or if there was further damage from wat happened, but he would do what he could and it would most likely be late afternoon/evening before it could be fixed, if at all. Long story short, he was able to find the parts, fix my Jeep and get me back on the road quicker than anticipated with no additional issues and I was able to get home that night and they did it all for a fair price. I couldnt be more appreciative of how much they tried to help me find another mechanic, then working me into their busy schedules and fixing my Jeep, allowing me to get home that night. Having never dealt with these guys or shop before, you could tell from sitting in the waiting area, watching their normal customers and just how busy they are, just how first rate their operation is and how much the area trusts their . If I could give 100 stars I would, but they only allow 5. Thank you to Tommy and Brad with Pooler Tire and Auto for going out of their way to help me. It is greatly appreciated and I highly recommend this shop.

They were very kind and efficient. Figuring out my problem in just under 2 days, and helping me with some recommendations on how to fix said problem. Never felt like i was being talked too like some idiot and they were very friendly. Will certainly be returning for any future problems I have, or for simple maintenance work.

Pooler Tire, has been apart of our community for 35 +years.And Tommy Long the owner will go out of his way to help folks.He will tell you like it is.and if he can not get to your vehicle right away and you need it he will call around other mechanic to see if they can help you.Just good down home folks.

These guys are horrible. I dropped my chevy spark off for an alignment. When I got the car back it still pulls to the right and the steering wheel is not straight. There was no before and after readings.....or... Any kind of explanation of possible issues that causing the car to pull to the right. Although, I am very confident the only thing needed is an alignment from actual professionals. Its as if they really didnt even touch the car. This is likely a good place to buy new tires but thats about all they are capable of. Not to mention their price is high compared to competitors on the area.I normally wouldnt write a review like this but I felt sharing my experience could help someone else.

Once again the service was great. I stopped by to discuss the problem I found. Dropped car off the day before, Tuesday. Car was ready Wednesday.Most of the time they are so busy it is best to not just drop in at noon and expect car to be ready within the hour. Job will be done RIGHT. I depend on their knowledge and experience.

Tommy, the owner has always been polite, knowledgeable and helpful. His mechanics are respectful and well-trained. There is no price gouging and they try to provide maximum care at reasonable prices. I am a senior citizen and have recommended at least 2 (two) members of my posse to his shop for car maintenance. They also have been satisfied with the services.

Incredible!! This is the second time I took my car to them, the first time I need tires right away because I was going out of town. They personally drove to get the tires and changed them that day! This time I need a few things done and they called to tell me what and how much it was going to be before they continued! Now my car runs perfect.

They are wonderful about getting you an appointment quickly, fixing your vehicle and getting it back to you. You can expect an honest answer and very reasonable bill. I appreciate their service, especially being a woman!

Have been using them for around 13 years now. They are honest people. The dont try to up sale you on stuff that doesnt have to be done. Hell tell you if its a real problem or it will need to be addressed in the near future or whatever the severity is.

Tommy is one of the most honest auto shop owners I have ever known. Jimmy one of the mechanics has always been extremely friendly and more importantly stays in contact with me and keeping me up to date during critical times that something has gone very wrong with vehicle. My family has dealt with him for years now and I would never trust my car with anyone else. If youre looking for a new mechanic this is the place to go!!

Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I made an emergency stop here with my 2005 honda odyssey. Mechanic Thomas and another master tech took time out of there busy day to ensure my vehicle was safe to make the 1000 mile trip home! They did all this free of charge! Thank you gentlemen!

Called a week ago to get a price to put on on my new tires, rotate and balance them. Called back today to schedule to have them put on tomorrow for a certain time during my work day that i was available to take a break, the technician told me he could work me in at that time no problem..... until he found out i already had my own tires and then he said he didnt have time for that.

My truck broke down late on a Saturday afternoon as I was driving through. Managed to get the truck to their lot, and left the truck there - while we went ahead and enjoyed Hilton head and Savannah over the weekend. (Rented car from airport) Connected with Tom early Monday morning. Made no promises regarding the diagnosis or when the truck could even start to be repaired as the garage had a lot of work that week. Before you knew it, the issue was identified (broken wheel hub and bearing assembly) and subsequently fixed. They got us back on the road by noon and was very much appreciated.Would recommend these guys, especially if you are just passing through - and dont know where to go.

My husbands F150 broke down and we took it to Goodyear twice to fix. Twice we paid for a repair and twice my husbands truck broke down again. We took the vehicle to Pooler Tire at the suggestion of a man who helped us on the side of the road. Pooler Tire diagnosed and fixed the truck right away. It has been three years and we continue to take our vehicles to Pooler Tire. We always get GREAT SERVICE for a GREAT PRICE. No chain can compare. They can do it all.

Newly opened. Went there for some a/c work but repair man was on vacation!

Horrible!!! Where do I start?I had a brake line leak on the underside of the car (2001 Hyundai Elantra). I called and was given a quote around $300. So I called a tow truck and they towed it over to the shop. A few days later I went on a 7 day trip for a wedding.1. I came back from the trip and called Pooler Tire & Auto Center. The person on the phone said they were busy working on some other car that had just came in so they havent been able to get to it!!! This was 9 days from when they got the car!2. I called back again the next day to see if they started working on it. A different person from whom I spoke with before said it was because they had to order brake lines from Hyundai and that was why they didnt get to it yet. Ordering parts from the company takes 2-3 days TOPS! This isnt some rare fancy car with parts that are hard to come by! This was totally a bald face lie!3. Finally, after about 3 weeks, I got the phone call that it was done but now the price is TWICE that was quoted. I ended up paying $580. I asked for a receipt and a copy of the invoice that they actually used Hyundai parts but didnt receive any of this.4. Here is the kicker, a few weeks later, I had a check engine light come on. I looked under the hood and they didnt plug in the EGR vacuum regulator!!!!! So all this time, my car was getting the wrong mixture of gas/air. Who knows how much damage there is, the oxgen sensor will need ot be replaced and maybe even the catalytic converter!Oh and I have phone recordings of the calls I made and when they lied to me about why they havent fixed the car yet. I am going through my credit card company to get some compensation back. Not only did they guage me for the repair in a untimely manner, they ended up messing up my car even more!!!!
