I have had good experiences most times I have come to this store.Today while I was waiting, I watched one of the of the associates here deal with one of the rudest customers I have ever seen. The customer complained and argued and threatened the whole time she was there. Yet the Verizon associate stayed helpful and compassionate the whole time.Also, the fellow who help me was knowledgeable and got me exactly what I needed.Wish there was customer service like this everywhere.
Not necessarily about the store as much as the company. Definitely terrible cell service in pooler. No point in paying for data when Im always waiting for something to buffer and videos/notifications are pointless because nothing loads. And the company obviously doesnt care to fix the issue since its been going on for years. Switching carriers at my next convenience after a coworker switched off Verizon and has no data problems.

This was the worse experience we have ever had at this Pooler Corporate Store. Hardly any phones were available to purchase. Only 3 or 4 models were available. Had a whole section of brands that are not made anymore on display. Our representative was not helpful. Felt like she was just there to earn her pay check. Gave no suggestions when asked. Shrugged her shoulders. Bad experience. What a waste of time today. Drove all the way from Hinesville to just look at 4 phones available and could not afford 3 of them. Now on the way to Rincon to purchase phone. Hopefully, we will have a better experience.
Ive been having issues with my phone for about a month. Stopped in and was assisted by Wesley. He was a tremendous help and had my issues resolved and out the door in about 10 minutes! Very professional and courteous!

We have Verizon on our cellphones. They are pricey but most often we have good connectivity (service). The Pooler location does not take phones with glass damage to send out for repair.
I dont have a problem with the store and products I have a problem with the phone service I received. I used the pay as you go plan because I have unlocked phone and dont need a contract. The data rate is absolutely unacceptable. With plenty of high speed data left my download speed was 0.1 Mbps in several locations within 50 miles of the Savanah GA area, even Jacksonville FL. It was not my phone because when I got tired of customer service trying to fix it for 6 months I changed carriers and now with the same phone I have over 100 Mbps connection speed anywhere.

I realize that the staff was not at fault. Realize that things happen. there is no circumstances where I should wait four and a half hours in the store to switch two lines from Sprint to Verizon! 4 1/2 hours!
I need to do a return but the website is full of errors. The chat person told me I can return my merchandise to any store so Im going here and hope that being in person with people is better then online and on the phone.Update**It was a good choice to make because I was able to return it there with no problems. The person who helped me was awesome. Thank you.
Pretty good and quick service. If you know what youre looking for it is an easy trip in and out. If you dont know what you want, then youll probably get bombarded with extra deals that you did not intend to get. Go in with a clear plan and ready to say no to the extra offered deals, and youll be fine.
I dont normally write reviews but, I thought the experience I had today was worth writing about. I have always worked in customer service. So, I know when someone truly cares about their customers and wants to make them happy. Devin at the Pooler location is the example of an amazing employee. I live in Savannah but for now on I will drive to Pooler just to see him. Verizon picked a great one to represent the company.

Stood outside waiting to come in, and when I finally got in, the 2 reps who looked at me while I was outside went to the back and another rep walked around the store like I wasnt standing there. I finally said something to someone but then I told her I would not give anyone in there commission from me! I wanted to buy another phone. They helped the white couple but ignored me. And just to let Verizon know, dont judge a book by its cover. I am a front line worker. I work long hours in a hospital laboratory testing Covid patients and patients throughout the hospital Including the emergency room! I called Verizon to complain and I was told someone will be in touch with me but no one did! So after being a customer for 18 years I soooo appreciate the Great customer service 🙄

I went to get my replacement phone set up.. The first day I went in the female associate said it would cost $20 and it needed to be cash. No receipt offered and I didn’t ask for one.?she did help with issues I was having with Apple ID. It was closing time and she asked me to return the next day when the person who was an expert on transferring content would be there. I arrived the next morning and they were both there he was not very friendly and wanted to make sure I had paid the $20. She asked me for it again, I reminded her she had received cash from me the previous day she then remembered. She also could not remember what she had done regarding the phone the previous day. . He set up the phone and said only pictures and contacts would be transferred nothing else. When I went home only about half of my contacts were transferred. I called customer service and a very knowledgeable person transferred everything not only contacts and pictures but everything g from my old phone.I tried to make this concern over the phone so it would not be so public but the people I talked to didn’t seem concerned,

Sad. Business was slow prior to covid. Now there customer service is ridiculous and has you waiting outside in any kind of weather for long periods of time. Go to Rincon store. Much better procedure & service!
I came in earlier today to upgrade to a new iPhone Im currently on a contract with Verizon they said I need to pay off my device completely which is a lie, I went to another Verizon store and upgraded to the new iPhone only having to pay a past due amount not the entire balance, STAY AWAY FROM THESE LIARS, if I could give 1 star I would.

Verizon called me over the phone and offered me a deal on to iPhone 11‘s. They said if I purchased them I could pick them up at the Pooler store. When I picked up the phones I was told they would not set them up, I would have to do it online. My set up failed and I had to contact Verizon and have them set it up over the phone. They said the store should have set it up for me. Also the store would not give me a mailing box and Fed ex label that was the phone salesman‘s responsibility. After talking to Verizon they said the Store should provide one. So I made a second trip to the store where I wanted to talk to the manager and they said he didn’t come in till 3 PM (Almost store closing). They informed me that the phone salesman from Verizon have no idea what they’re doing even though they are corporate and the store corporate. For the amount of money two iPhone 11’s cost I expected better service! I will never visit Pooler Verizon again. My neighbor said he had the same experience and now goes to the Rincon store, where they have always done anything he has asked for.

It was my first time to come this store to get my new watch. I was so excited about it until I come to the store. SAM who worked in that store helped me. However I was so disappointed about the customer service in this store. SAM WAS NOT helpful at all. She was on FaceTime with someone, laughing and DID NOT CARE about us. Another employees were nice except SAM. As a big company like Verizon, they should focus on the customer service, and value their customer. SAM shouldn’t FaceTime while helping her customers. She seems so racist. I hope the manager of this store should offer more training about customer service skills to their employees, so they know how to help the customer. Thank you.

If i ever need assistance again, I will happily drive an hour to this location for his service alone. He gave me updates on the phone and accessories. Made it easy to pick out SP and case. Even told me about the warranty one of the SP come with so I can return to that location anytime my SP cracks to replace it free of charge FOREVER💪🏾. Thanks for the XS.

I visited this store on a Tuesday afternoon and ended up waiting for 45 minutes with out one employee asking me how I was, a hello, or how long the wait would be. I watched one guy walk out after taking pictures of the employees while another guy was in there being very impatient . I understand that they were busy, so I sat quietly and waited. I saw about 5 employees working with customers most of them 2 employees to help 1 customer at a time . Finally it was my turn and they proceeded to skip me and help 2 different customers that had only been waiting a short period of time. Needless to say I walked out. Complete lack of customer service, and if you don’t plan to greet your customers I’d recommend coming up with a system to keep track of who came in first.
I wish I could give no stars. I went there to buy a case and a screen protector. I walk in and was promptly greeted within a minute by a gentleman with a tablet asking how he could help. I said I needed a case and screen protector and he typed in his tablet and said someone would be with me shortly. I was confused, I thought hed help me, but whatever. I waited for 10 minutes looking around at the staff who all but one of them were talking to each other and laughing, not helping customers. Getting a little pissed I tried to get one of their attention, they would not look my way. They stood behind their counter or little wall thing ignoring me and about 3 other customers. I ended up waiting at the counter for 45 minutes wondering what the hell kind of system they have that lets a customer wait this long while they have idle workers not helping customers. Whatever it is, it has permanently put me off Verizon. After 25 minutes it started to feel personal. I would not recommend you shop at this store unless you want poor service and have an hour to kill standing there.
I have been a customer for a very long time. The treatment I received from Hunter and Ashley today was just unacceptable. Hunter was so rude to me that it makes me wonder about the ability of management to provide employees with the skills to provide good customer service. And Ashley would not give me any information on how to contact their district manager whos name I found out is Brad. I have called him twice and no response from Brad. I guess they do not need to treat people well since they seem to have the bulk share of the market.
Very disappointed with the service - Some of the associates don’t even know what their products are capable of doing.I was sold a product by providing wrong information about it.Also, when the product was handed over to me, it was not sealed. When asked “Why so?”, I was told they opened it to show to a customer. I did not mind it that much and took it home.When I realized the shortcomings of the product, I took it back to the store to return the SAME DAY. To my surprise they were charging me $50 restocking fee for:1) a wrong product that they sold me, and2) secondly, the box was not even sealed when it was sold to me.The manager also was adamant in not helping me out in this situation. This is very unethical way of doing business.I strongly caution people to know and learn about the products before going to this location to buy them. Because, I am sure some of the associates don’t have a freaking clue what they are talking about and you may not get proper help from them, like in my case. Which will only cause more headaches for you.
I had a horrible experience. Order a phone online. I was told this store had phone. I usually pick up phone on abercorn. Went to pick up phone the employees gave me such a hard time. I never had any problems before. The employees did not honor my contract or order. We call customers care to explain the situation they where very understanding and solve the issues.

We went in as soon as they opened on Sunday and even though there were a lot of people, were seen almost immediately. The associate was very nice and knowledgeable and very helpful. Ill probably go to this store from now on.

Bought new iPhone glass protector screen. Of course didn’t get offered to do it at the store, directions were so misguiding, was also told if any mistakes I had a warranty... warranty was denied... $50 in the drain!

Thanks to Hunter for the excellent customer service! Not a high pressure salesman, sold me only what I needed. A week later, he went above and beyond to solve my issues, on one of my other phones.

I tried to renew a contract at this store and it seemed like I was inconveniencing the sales associate. They could not (or rather would not) assist me in getting the plan I wanted and I eventually just left. Called Verizon on the phone via their 800 number and had my plan updated and a new phone on the way in one call.

I was treated very well at this store. I was greeted and helped by Ronald Hayes, and he gave me A1 service. I was indecisive and took up a lot of time but he was patient and friendly to me even though it was close to closing lol. Luckily, I was done about 10 minutes before closing. It was a Saturday night! The other reps were helpful and friendly as well. Everything was clearly explained to me and I was given plenty of time to decide without being rushed. Great group at this store. Highly recommended!

And the online service ended up screwing up my order and ugh the headache of waiting and not being able to do anything. He really did everything he could to figure out where my third phone (of course) my phone was and why they couldnt activate anythingFor being a new customer with Verizon Ill say Im a bit worried about this service... but as far as customer service at the place itself, they tried for sure.
Went to exchange a phone that I had previously purchased and was not satisfied with. I felt that the guy that previously sold me the phone was mad because I was returning it. I got there at 6:45pm didnt get helped until 7:50pm . My son needed to use the bathroom while I was exchanging the phone and we was told that he couldnt use the bathroom because it was locked after 8:00pm really if I wouldnt have waited so long we wouldnt have still been there. So I was forced to take my son outside to chick fila to use the restroom. After we went outside we had to pull on the door to get back into the Verizon store to finish my transaction one of the workers looked at us and kept doing what he was doing and then when the young man that was helping me came to open the door for us he told him that hes not suppose to let people back in after the door locks. REALLY we was still there because of your slow service I did not finish being helped until almost 9:00 pm after getting there at 6:45 pm.....very dry uninviting inconsiderate atmosphere.

Ive dealt with the store for years and years the best cell service that I have had regardless of any other cell company out there I have also been able to receive new phones without completing a two-year contract by early upgrade you can Bill stuff to your account like accessories Bluetooth mods cases you name it I would deal with the one on Abercorn Street near White Bluff
The General Manager Kyle Lyles personally helped me with the perfect solution and helped me save! All the employees were extremely nice and helpful. After a long tiring day of shopping at Tanger, the stop at Verizon was the most beneficial for the holiday season.
Verizon has very slow service on text messages & more dropped calls. I have the iPhone 8 plus and already I have had to do 3 updates. Currently they are the highest price with the worst service.

I don’t really do reviews but if I can them Zero stars I would Me in my Husband went into the store trying to find out what plans they had in deals they had going on the lady Reketta Bailey that assisted us was not honest she told us that for 2 phone lines we would be under a 45 dollar unlimited plan in we could get 2 apple watches also we told her we didn’t our bill to be over $300 dollars in she lied in told us that our bill would be around 215 We just received our bill in a couple days in its over $400 dollars ain’t no way we should have to pay that just because she lied to us just to get commission beware going into this store talking to Reketta Bailey she will lie to you beware of Reketta Bailey now when I call to speak to her she’s not available in you know why because she know she lied to us just to get commission in that’s sad 😢
Im sorry to read some of the negative reviews of customer experiences at the Pooler Parkway, GA, location. I had an excellent interaction with an associate named Jessen in April, 2018.Visiting from Ireland, technologically challenged at best, and as-yet unacquainted with my new I-Phone 8, I required a great deal of assistance in setting up a temporary account to serve my needs during my brief time in the States. I was in and out of the store no less than four times over the course of 1-1/2 hours to assure sure that the interactive navigation feature was in working order, among other questions about my settings.As a 64-year-old woman, I find all too often that young IT people can be quite short of patience with someone not in possession of the grasp of technology that comes quite naturally to them. It was reassuring and quite refreshing to be treated with patience, kindness, an impressive breadth of knowledge and a willingness and determination to find creative solutions for all of my questions and concerns.I deliberately asked for contact information at the end of our session so I might share my positive review with his manager. Jessen is truly an asset and an ambassador for Verizon. He is deserving of recognition for how well he represents the now nearly-extinct experience of customer service. Those of us who are old enough to remember what it was place a very high value on it when we chance to encounter it.

They give horrible quick fixes at the door to get you to leave, fast talk you to met their promotion quotas, and then dont own up to their poor explaining habits to customers then make NO effort to work with loyal customers, while continuing to explain things poorly keeping things misunderstood!I love Verizon but I wont! Mess with that store anymore!
I used to think Verizon didnt care one bit about me, until the other day. I bought a Samsung gear S3 watch from them 9 months ago, recently the charger stopped working. The charger is some weird magnetic thing and its something you can only order through Samsung . So I went back to this sure because I bought the watch from them, since they dont sell the chargers of their own the store couldnt really do anything .One of the employees overheard my conversation with associate and said he might could do something and went in the back and found me a charger that had just been laying around . Nice acts such as a corporate store honoring a warranty are very rare these days and it went a long way with me .
If I could leave zero stars I would! I don’t want to say the wrong thing because of laws. I will say this though be VERY cautious of your private information that you give out in any business location. No matter how big, or small the company may be Anything can happen to it.

Went up there and purchased a new phone. Was promised a credit because I switched from prepaid to post-paid account. Bill wasnt accredited by my first bill so I went up there three days before it was due. Manager wasnt in my information was took and said bill would reflect credit withing a few business days. 6 days later (bill 4 days late) I go back up there and credit was credited to my account before I walked out of the store. Glad I had nothing better to do with my day!!

Slow. Had the phone we wanted, but suddenly just as we were trying to pay, said they couldnt sell it anymore. Apparently taken by someone on-line. Isnt that the point of going to the store? Waste of time and people seemed to lack knowledge and werent clear about their offers or why the couldnt sell sell the product they had in inventory. Had to order it on-line to be shipped.
