If I could do a 0 and write a review, I would. DO NOT buy from them and DO NOT trust them.Bought a 2005 Toyota Tundra from these guys and it should have never been sold. Interior and exterior were clean and engine bay looked good. Knowing this particular vehicle is known for frame rust, I referenced the carfax provided to me and saw the the frame had been treated. Upon inspection of the frame, I saw some rust in my lack of experience, I was unaware of the how bad the rust actually was. I was working with the owner who admitted he didnt see it when he bought the truck and assured me it was no big deal. The truck was also very loud and I asked them if it was a muffler tip that could be exchanged and they, again, assured me it was a tip and had no issues.Fast forward a couple of weeks and I find out theres a hole in the muffler the size of my fist...something a dealer and self respecting mechanic should have seen or mentioned. The speakers were blown when I bought it but I only found this out after purchase. The worst of the issue is the frame is rusted beyond repair and will not likely pass Virginia state inspection. All of these issues shouldve been disclosed or repaired before it was sold...to anyone. On the lot, this truck had more needed repairs than it was worth. Im looking at at least 12k in repairs minimum. No trustworthy company would continue to sell vehicles to people with this many poor reviews. Legal action should be taken against this business since theres a consistent pattern of poor business and poor products.
Loved my experience here at Amg Auto Sales. Not sure why ppl wrote these negative reviews. Because thats not at all what I experienced. All the salesmen are helpful, they answered all my questions and even gave my vehicle a fresh detail before I drove off in my new Range Rover.I would give Amg Auto Sales a 10star review if i could. I 100% recommend them to anyone looking to buy a used car!
I must say I would most definitely buy another vehicle from the guys at AMG Auto Sales again, first off they went the extra mile to get us approved. I have been having a hell of a time getting approved for a truck like I wanted, most told me I would need 15,000 grand or more for a 20,000 dollar truck. Well long story short I now have sitting in my yard a 2007 Ford F150 King Rancher, with a little over 63000 miles on for 24000 with tag, title, and taxes. The down payment was a outrageous 67 dollars. Amg did what others said couldnt be done. THANK YOU, Mo, Robert, and Al. We love you guys, your family. Jason and Tara Downing
Friendly and attention to detail on models choosen for their inventory. model Im looking at will be pursuded and if all goes well I will be a referring customer.
Bought a truck last month. Good customer service, they all seem like nice guys. Al worked with me all day and was very patient. He answered all of my questions.Overall it was a good experience. I would recommend and buy again.
The reviews speak for its self. When inspecting the vehicle, make sure you open all doors and roll down windows. This dealer tends to not fix anything. Once you buy it, its all on you. They will charge extra if you find something wrong with it. I strongly wouldnt recommend this dealer
Every car over priced...by a lot. Owners family writing good reviews.
Bought the owners sons (Sanad) car a 2007 MazdaSpeed 3 and was told it was in perfect condition with no leaks and a brand new turbo. Asked for the paper work on the new stuff they put on it because the turbo didn’t look brand new. They beat around the bush and after 2 months driving it, the rear main seal blew out and before that it was smoking profusely from the amount of oil leaking into the engine. Tried contacting them to see what the deal with for lying to me. 6k in the hole and dishonest people. Heard quite a few more experiences where these people sold lemons to people. The big guy, the older brother, even admitted to it after selling me the car but blamed it on the customer. Most of tge vehicles there are above market value with high miles and rigged to look good and drive good for just a short time. Long enough to fool a honest customer.
So helpful and wonderful to do business with. 10/10 would recommend. They are the NICEST people to deal with. You’ll want to buy more from them! I’ve sent all my Friends
I went here after I heard from a friend that this was a good place to look. At the time I was in a quick search for a vehicle because I got into an accident and needed a car right away. The owner acted as if the vehicle was in perfect running order and that it had no mechanical issues. I went ahead and purchased the vehicle for the price he was asking. If the car was in the condition he said it was then the price was fair. I have had the vehicle for 6 months and one after another things have gone wrong. All I have to say is that I bought the car for $4,000 and I have already put $1,100 into it. It was a cheaper vehicle so I expected maybe some small things but I have had to do some serious repairs. The dealership may have some newer nicer cars but this place seems to just buy vehicles for cheap and resell them for a much higher price. If you go here make sure you know what you are looking for and I would not particularly trust the people that work here and especially the owner. So look at the cars here at your own risk.
Only giving 3 starsReason is I havent made it there yet. I have only spoken several times over the phone. Going their tomorrow so I will be editing this review for sure. Each time on the phone they seem to be trying their best. I get the feeling they dont want to deal when it comes to dropping the price. We will see they have a truck I want but its 600 more than I can pay so if they lose the desk over 600 I will let everyone know
Great experience at AMG Auto Sales. No pressure, answered all the questions we had and really went the extra mile. Robert and all the staff were very patient as we worked through issues with our finance company. We are very happy and will be sending people their way. Thanks guys!
Not honest about the exact state the vehicle is in. The warranty is just to make you feel piece of mind but not cover common used car repairs, but major interior engine repairs. I will not buy another vehicle from here or recommend anyone else to do the same. I made a poor decision in not having the vehicle looked at by my mechanic. Wont let that happen again.
How Great are these people this is the third car that I have purchased from them I have never had an issue with any of the cars they have sold me Rob went out of his way over and beyond his call as a sales man to get this deal done and the owner is a very helpful and happy guy when everyone else said no these guys said yes and you wont be rolling out in a old beat up car May God bless them both😀😂😀😀
Do not trust the mechanical reliability of their trucks, have spent $7k in a month since buying a truck from them, and it’s lookig like needs a new engine.Update....don’t ever buy from them...3500 miles after buying truck needs new engine, $10,000 at least for the repair, engine was shot when I bought the truck guaranteed, best part of this story the truck was the owners before he sold it to me.
Bought 2007 BMW E60 M5 From AMG. Robert and Mo went above and beyond to get the deal done. Very happy. Thanks guys
A very janky car dealership. Seen cars with rust painted over in lot Carrying cars with mostly high miles way above book value. Taxes on vehicles insanely high. Went to look at a Honda Civic today I found on one of their adds on Craigslist the car was in way worse shape then made out to be and 2500$ Over book value with added taxes. Would not recommend buying a vehicle from this place.
My man Robert was great! Patient, understandable and knowledgeable.Helped me get financed at 5.5% using his advice. My next car and my kids cars will come from amg
Not happy with the way they handled the purchase of our van. They were unwilling to make us satisfied customers and did not work with us after we signed the paperwork, but later found out there were problems with the van. They do not have high standards nor are they very honest. We do not recommend this dealership nor will we be return customers.
The experience my family and I had at AMG was wonderful. The staff was so nice especially the owner, he did everything he could to make our car buying experience quick and painless. I have never come across such wonderful people who actually care about you and arent just trying to take your money. All of their inventory was wonderful and had lots to choose from. We will be back to buy a second car from them soon for our son. Keep up the good work AMG!
I had an awesome experience at AMG AutoSales the salesmen are great to talk with gave me great info about the cars i have asked to see. And when it came to buying my Lexus they will try there best to help you with the price of the vehicle. And you do get a great bang for your buck the vehicles are well maintained and most are in great condition for the price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
Great service! Found out what I wanted and did a great job with my strict requirements
HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I was a first-time buyer and a friend told me to check out AMG Auto Sales. Bought a car from AMG Auto Sales and I am relieved that I went to them. They were super polite and patient with me as I tried to find the right car for me. The salesmen were helpful and made sure I understood everything about the vehicles I was interested in. When it came down to buying the vehicle, they made me feel comfortable with my purchase because I KNEW what I was buying. We came to an agreement on a fair price and I am so glad I came to AMG because they made my buying experience easy and convenient. If I have an issue with the car, have any questions or concerns, or I want to purchase another vehicle in the future, I know I will be welcomed by their staff. Awesome staff! Appreciate the help AMG Auto Sales!!!
I had been wanting to buy a particular style and model of a Volvo station wagon since seeing one in an Ingles parking lot. After a LOT of googling through various and sundry auto dealers inventories, I found exactly what I was looking for at AMG Auto Sales in Raleigh, NC! I live in SC, and couldnt travel to the dealership to inspect the car and talk to the dealer. After more Google research, and determining that the car was in good shape, I called them! I consider myself extremely lucky to have reached Robert, in Finance at the dealership! He eased my doubts about doing a long-distance purchase of the vehicle, told me about the cars having passed the NC vehicle tests, etc., and a financial agreement was accepted by the AMG owner/manager! The car was delivered today, and I am the VERY proud owner of the sweetest little 1999 Volvo V70 ever! THANK you, Robert and AMG Auto Sales!!!
They sold me a junker! I bought the car for 8.9 and a few months later the engine, turbo and intercooler blew! After the best warranty they offered I still owed 1.4k to the mechanic. And a couple months later, my check engine light is back on! NEVER buy from these theives! When Ive called their answer is to change my oil AGAIN or if I wanted I could trade up. Id sooner cut off my toes then buy another vehicle from them
Terrible experience! Went to look at a specific car and they had sold the car the night before and did not bother to call or anything. Drove 45 minutes and was early for the scheduled appointment to see a car that was not available and when I got there Robert wasnt even there, and the salesman who was didnt offer to show me another car or anything, just told me there was nothing he could do for me. All this after I had completed an online application and already spoken to them by phone two days earlier to make sure I wasnt wasting my time. This is a terrible dealership and was an awful experience! You do not want to do business with them!
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!!!!In all seriousness, this was the worst experience I have ever had purchasing a car. I bought a 2002 Toyota 4runner. We all know these are great cars and sure they do hold their value for the most part. I was told by two employees (one named Mo), that the car had no mechanical issues. Sure they may not be mechanics but they knew for damn sure that the vehicle had major problems!!! I bought the car and not even and hour later the check engine light turns on... So I brought it back the next day and they said they would have their mechanic take a look at it and fix it. I said I need to know everything that is wrong with the car. I even went to the mechanic with Mo (who insisted I drop the car off so he could take it to the mechanic without me) because he wanted to pull a fast one on me and not give me the full details of problems. The mechanic even lied to my face and said that the car was running fine and had no major issues except the EVAP system was leaking carbon. They offered to fix that but the next day the check engine light turned back on for the same reason! They didnt fix a damn thing for me! I took it to my mechanic a day later to get a second opinion, and thats when I found out that it was leaking oil from the rack and pinion, and had some other pieces needing replaced as well, costing me $1,300. It was also leaking oil from the rear main seal which is a $855 fix. I told them that my mechanic diagnosed these problems with the 4runner and Mo said he would call his mechanic and see when he could get the car back into the shop. I never got a call back. I paid for the most covered warranty they offer so I decided to try to get them to cover the cost of repairs. Apparently the coverage is only for internal engine parts, meaning if the car doesnt even start. How in the hell is that a warranty. I already over paid for the vehicle and on top of that I had to pay my mechanic another $2,155 in major repairs because they wouldnt do anything to help. OH also my EVAP system is still broken...So thatll be the next thing I have to fix when I have enough money but I am broke as hell now thanks to these ass holes. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have bought and sold cars myself multiple times and have never had an experience even close to how bad this dealership is. Trust me people do not go here. I will be taking further actions on AMG auto sales.
Great car at a great price with superior customer service
I bought a car a few months ago from here. My car is working fine after I paid for some serious repairs and parts for my car. If you buy a car from here take it to a trustworthy mechanic and have them check it out first. The sales guy failed to tell us one of the doors didnt work even though he was in the backseat when we took it for a test drive (which was the door that didnt work) He also tried to act as if the nav screen was a minor fix it wasnt. They were asking wayyyy over market value for this knowing of the issues. They didnt do any required maintenance before putting it on the lot. I took my car to my mechanic a few weeks after buying it (Ive been going to the same trustworthy guy for years) and he literally made a list of everything I needed or would likely need fixed so far Ive had repaired since August new cv joints, a front right motor mount, power steering, belt pulley, radiator, nav replacement, wheel bearings and Ive had to buy pieces that they rigged together . To top it off I got my car in august they just send me my spare key (February). Just be very careful when purchasing from them.
My wife trusted the staff here and purchased a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee a year or so ago. Come to find out, the frame was bent. We realized the frame was bent after the hood bowed for no reason. A professional looked at the vehicle and told us it was not safe to drive. Dealer said Carfax was clean and they were not aware of the issue which seems to be a common trend with this place. We halted legal action after a sudden unexpected death in the family but plan to pursue again in the near future. Funny that the owner keeps making replies that he is sorry for everyones bad experience but havent seen anything where he has made it right. To the owner, if you really want to fix my problem, you have my last name and vehicle information, call me and lets avoid the lawyers.
CAUTION! Volkswagon Touareg TDi 2009Would give this review 0 stars if I could. Was looking to get a new car so I went to AMG auto sales which is right down the road from my house. I had always loved stopping by and looking at all their cars that seemed to be priced great. However, here is a list as to why one of my favorite car dealers got 1 star1. Asked for history on car and they told me it was clean......My mechanic had to be the one to tell me it had been in a wreck and they knew about it2. When I asked to bring it to get prepurchase inspected they only allowed there mechanic to do it who also didnt bother to tell me about the bad paint job in the front which means a wreck had happened there.(My friend works at Volkswagon in case your wondering how I know there was a wreck)3. They kept telling me false information on the car throughout the week that I was looking at itPlease be careful and bring your mechanic if you still decide to go here.
I dont trust these people as far as I can throw them and thats not very far
Best place to by a car
Good folks to deal with
Love it
