Bad Experience with the service department for the first time.

This last purchase was the second from this dealer. We were extremely dissatisfied but gave them another chance because they were the only dealer with the Genesis we wanted. The sales person, Elijah was awesome during the sale but became nonexistent after the sale when we had issues. The Genesis Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance is a complete joke with them. They scheduled, sent a text confirming the scheduled pickup, never showed up, cancelled the scheduled service but then denied they ever scheduled it. I have the text messages to prove it. The GM, Brian is just as useless as the service department. He refuses to talk to me. I gave him chances and he declined. Go to Genesis of Cary if you want excellent care.

I purchased from Genesis of Raleigh in December 2019. I live in Florida. They had the last car in the South East with the color and configuration I was looking for. They were very fair on the price and my trade-in. There are certainly more details and considerations that come up purchasing a vehicle out of state but Blake, Andrew, and Matt did a very good job of getting everything taken care of. I drove to NC from Florida and was very happy that I did. Genesis has a great product as the car (G70) is amazing. I recommend Genesis of Raleigh to anyone looking for a great car and a helpful staff, even if you have to drive multiple states to get there. Thanks, guys!

Terry McClain quoted a price AND gave a stock number on a vehicle he said he didnt have once we arrived at the dealer. He then proceeded to quote us a higher rate for a lower model. Then he gave us a lease option and blamed a computer glitch for his errors. He also refused to give us the quotes,, and attempted to cover the extra 2000 he added,, with his thumb. All in all this is the worst car salesman Ive ever run into and weve purchased many cars. He wasted our time and was literally the shadiest person to represent Genesis. Buyer beware this guy is a crook and will lie just to drag you in. Dont fall for it. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Words can not express how happy I am with the experience I had at this genesis dealer. Terry my sales guy and Brian the gm far exceeded my needs, found the exact car (2019 g70 sport) I had my eyes on. Every time I went in was always smiling faces and was able to answer my questions fully. Theres no doubt I will continue my business with them. Thanks again Terry.
