AJ and Matt came to fix my garage door, which had 1 spring that malfunctioned and only allowed the door to open about 2 feet off the ground. Our garage door spring snapped last week. I called several places and the earliest appointment I could get was from Triangle Garage Doors. They showed up at the beginning of the window I was given, which was only like 2 hours after I had called them. The tech called 30 mins before arrival and showed up exactly when he said he would.The tech (I wish I could remember his name because he was a nice guy and did a great job) had our door fixed in less than an hour. Im so glad I found Triangle Garage Doors LLC to replace one of my garage opener motors, and to replace the spring mechanism on my other door. I was constantly having problems with unbalanced doors defeating the opener mechanism, and having to close the doors with the manual button, due to previous companies using improper parts. My garage door stopped closing. The techs came out next morning and discovered a broken gear in the motor. I had the tech replace the whole unit and he also tuned up both my doors. A nice touch was that he also repositioned my door opener buttons because a previous homeowner had installed them very sloppily. He also took the time to explain everything he was doing, which I appreciated.

Fast response and fixed some issues that another company had been out, repaired, and invoiced multiple times. This is for a commercial building with many garage bay doors, so Im happy to have found a reliable vendor. I was preparing to have to pay a lot, and Roy found the real issue was an inexpensive replacement part was needed. I could pay $225 every week to fix the problem it caused, or pay $20 to replace the part. You can guess which I chose! Very happy with Triangle Garage Doors.

The logic board on our garage door opener was fried. The cost of a new board was ⅔ the cost of a new unit. As our unit was quite old we opted for a new Liftmaster unit. It took about 1 hour to install the new one. The installers did an excellent job and were very courteous. We are very pleased with their service.

This review has probably been a long time coming but the issue that we had today has compelled me to warn potential customers...we worked with Roy and Rachel about a year ago when our very old / wooden garage door stopped working. They came out quickly and promptly to advise us that while the garage motor was in good condition, they recommended the door and springs be replaced. They tweaked our door so that it would shut while we waited to order the new door. We opted for the custom color door so that we didn’t have to paint. That ended up taking a very long time to deliver — which would have been fine *if* delivery times had been communicated properly. They originally comminuted a 1 month lead time for the door, and they would try to expedite that. As our delivery date approached (and our second delivery date approached), there was no communication that the warehouse had run into delays. After about a month longer than the longest time they estimated the door to come in (and a few phone calls, emails, and frustration later), the door finally came in. If we had know it would take 2 months of manually lifting our heavy wooden door, we would have never ordered the custom color. Once the door finally came in (and we confirmed with Rachel that it was physically in their possession this time), they quickly scheduled the technician out to install it. They installed it properly from what we could tell, but screws were left lying around, and a greasy wheel from the old door was left in my stroller cup holder. A week or so after install, there was a loud popping noise when we opened the door. Turned out to be a rotten piece of (original) wood that they didn’t replace on install. Maybe it was overlooked, but in my opinion it felt like a shortcut on the 1st install. In any case, they apologized and sent someone out to fix it along with the seal around the garage door that they forgot to give the technician the 1st time he came out to install. It was far from the experience we hoped for based on 100+ reviewers and being 4+ stars, but I let it go and just chose not to leave a review. Fast forward to today. Today a bike pump was unknowing left in the middle of the garage door path (by our toddler) and we closed the garage door. Upon coming back out a few hours later, we found that the garage door was completely crushed around the pump — gears popped, panels are bent and the garage door is unusable. The safety settings that are suppose to keep children from getting crushed by a garage door were not properly set. Thank god it was just a pump and not a person. We might be able to get them to replace it under warranty, but we just can’t bring ourselves to do business with them. This was the last straw and I felt it I must leave this review to warn others (like myself) that rely heavily on reviews.At the end of the day,- we felt like they Roy and Rachel were not good communicators and / or just really want to avoid any conflict (to customers or warehouse),- we should have ordered a door in stock if we cared to have it installed in a timely manner, the work is ok (they fixed it),- lastly, their attention to detail is poor (please never leave a home without safety measures in place (!!) or screws on the ground, and don’t screw new gears into a rotten piece of wood).

We had a great experience with Triangle Garage Doors. We called before 7am to set up an appointment and someone was able to come out between 8-10 that day! Sam showed up and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He gave us several options and recommendations of what to replace. We ended up getting new springs and rollers and he replaced some bolts as well. It took him about an hour to get everything done. The whole experience was easy and we would strongly recommend them.

I had a very positive experience with Triangle Garage Door. My garage door opener had not been working for about two weeks and we were having to manually open an old heavy wooden door. Roy was very quick to come out to give me an estimate on a new door and opener. Not only was he thorough and professional he also had a new opener installed on my existing door until the new door arrived. And he never asked for any money until the entire job was completely installed. Imagine! He installed a new opener and didnt ask for a single penny! He was also the lowest price of all my estimates. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. Also the person who did the installation was terrific. I definitely had a terrific experience with them.

Did not use the service. We scheduled an appointment yesterday, for this afternoon, with an arrival between 1:00 and 4:00. I called at 4:30 to see if we were still on and I was told they called and left a voicemail. No voicemail. Then I was told the crew had left the area and I would need to reschedule. I run an in-home service business myself, and we provide courtesy calls to our customers to let them know when our crews are on the way. However, we do not cancel appointments if we do not reach the customer by phone. This is a policy that needs to be changed.

Our 20+ yr old garage door spring snapped, so we called Triangle Garage Doors for a repair. Sam came out to do the repair but pointed out that the system we had lacked safety features that would have protected us from a flying spring. We decided to replace the old spring system with current center torsion bar and spring system. Sam and his partner arrived on time and completed the replacement within an hour for both doors. They also tightened all the bolts and made any adjustments needed. The new system is quiet and smooth, and we couldn’t be happier. Great job, and I would recommend them to anyone.

The spring busted and also broke one of the spring cables only 2-3 years after being replaced by another company.The receptionist who took my call to Triangle Garage Doors was very helpful in answering my questions about possible options and range of cost of those options to repair my door.Sam, the technician, was friendly, straight forward, knowledgeable and efficient at his work. After some discussion I decided to have two springs installed to carry the weight of the door. Pricing was consistent to what the receptionist told me over the phone.Overall I am quite pleased with the experience. Hopefully the dual spring will last longer than the old single spring.

I had a new spring installed over a year ago and have not had any problems with it. Roy installed it and did an excellent job.I just had Sam and another technician come out to do a yearly maintenance check up and they did a great job. Im blown away by the level of service and the way in which Roy runs Triangle Garage Doors! I called Roy at 6:20pm and requested his services to fix a broken spring in my garage door. He gave me a window of 11a-2p the following day and said hed call me 30 minutes prior to arrival. The next day, he called me at noon and was at my house at 12:30. He explained, in detail, what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. Throughout the process, he took pictures of everything from the problem, to the new springs he installed, to the finished product post-installment. He took his level of service even further without request by tightening all bolts and lubricating all parts to make the door much quieter than it was before. His invoicing is completely paperless via an app he uses on his phone where the invoice, all documented photos.. as well as a picture of the check I gave him for payment...were sent directly to my inbox. Seriously, amazing customer service that went above and beyond what was required at a reasonable price. Well done, Roy.

A cable broke on my door, So I called Triangle Garage Doors shortly after 8:00 am, and Reem provided me a couple of service times that fit my schedule that same day. During a power outage caused by Hurricane Matthew (October, 2016), I noticed it was extremely difficult for me or my wife to lift the double door without the assist of the garage door opener. I contacted Triangle Garage Doors and they responded as quickly as possible (considering the local power and phone outages). They sent Anthony Valle to my home, and he quickly assessed the situation and made the necessary adjustments to the tension springs to enable me to lift the door safely in the event of another power outage. Anthony was extremely courteous, and explained the entire repair process and warranty. Great experience over all. The owner and his assistant showed up about 25 minutes after the 3 hour window of time, but I was very happy with their quick and professional service. The owner even responded to my call on a weekend. He explained in detail what was going on with my malfunctioning garage door and only charged $90 for the repair. What a relief! I highly recommend this business.

We had a broken garage door spring on the day after New Years. Even though my 20 wide door was not a standard size, Triangle Garage Doors had the springs on the truck and was able to repair it the same day. Even though it was a holiday weekend there was no extra charge. Roy was very knowledgeable & professional. I would highly recommend Triangle Garage Doors.

Very Satisfied. Had called a competitor to quote the same job. The competitor did not have the part and said I needed a lot more bells/whistles than I though I did. So I called Triangle Garage Doors. They came out the same day, came in $150 less, had the part on the truck and the repair was done within an hour.These guys are the real deal. Use them and you will be 100% satisfied.

Awesome service. This company is new to the Burlington area and they have me for a lifetime customer for sure. Fermiot was very helpful and came to my house on Friday evening after calling for service that same day. He had to get parts from the Raleigh warehouse and came back the next day, Saturday. Garage door fixed and works great. Very fair price and excellent customer service. Also very convenient invoicing and payment system...everything was done on specialist tablet. I would suggest this company to anyone with issues or maintenance needs for their garage doors.

Roy came to fix our garage door. He quoted replacement of broken springs and did do the spring repair. However, he didnt quote the full job and left us with the advice not to close the garage door with the button. How can you leave when the door is still not working???So, here is the story. Roy called on arrival and I asked what the cost would be to do the job. He quoted over the phone and asked whether we wanted to proceed. I gave him the go ahead but then I did a bit of research which indicated he may have been overcharging me for the repair. On paper he was making over $200/hour plus a healthy mark-up on the springs. Since his office was professional and he seemed less so, I called the office to ask for an explanation. His wife graciously removed the $35 travel charge and I agreed to the new price and paid over the phone.Apparently asking for clarification and to be treated fairly was a problem for Roy. Later, when he discovered that our garage door was bent and would not close properly, rather than admitting his mistake that he overlooked the damaged door in his estimate and calling me to discuss the issue he tried putting a brace on the top of the door and essentially left it broken... with the instruction not to use the door opener. (It made it look like he broke the door and didnt want to admit it. Maybe he did, maybe he didnt. Not sure.) In any case, the follow up call with Roy found him defensive and short. Very poor customer service. But I guess its what you could expect from a repairman, not a businessman. Unfortunately he charges top dollar for this. I wont be calling him to finish the job.

******** HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! *********WOW! That is what I have to say! This company is fantastic!!!We purchased a house with an old wooden garage door in bad shape. Based on the sticker on the door, I contacted that *other* garage door company to come out and give me an estimate on a replacement. It took 3 phone calls to even get a response from them, and when I took off the entire morning (2 weeks later) to meet with the installer, he didnt contact me until lunchtime to let me know that he couldnt come until the afternoon. Oh, and no apologies. Needless to say, he did not earn my business!So I started asking around, and the name that kept coming up was TRIANGLE GARAGE DOORS. I called, got an immediate response, and Roy came out to my house in no time. He was punctual, polite, and even called (as he had said he would) when he was on his way to my home. Roy was extremely patient with my numerous questions, and he carefully explained my options - as well as their various costs. He never tried to upsell me on anything - just offered options within the parameters I had stated. He even told me that I didnt actually have to replace the door if I didnt want to, but that I could get a woodworker to repair the damage. I was incredulous. How honest - and how refreshing!!Well, I did want to replace my door with a waterproof door, and Roys prices were great and his doors are top quality. Triangle Garage Doors does an excellent, professional job on their installations, and I couldnt be happier with them. They have a new customer for life! Thanks!!
