Customer service is dead in this post covid world. Folks dont know how to be friendly or polite.

Honestly the lady at the front desk was super unhelpful and just plain rude. She refused to help my husband and was unprofessional. Would not recommend this location at all

Dropped off the U-Haul without a fuss, it actually got better fuel mileage than they said it would. I will use them again if needed.

Terrible location. Hard to pull in and out. Incompetent staff who refuse to help. 30 min wait to return a truck just to be blocked in by other customers and had to move a truck myself so that we could leave after such a time.
Placed order for hitch and made appointment. Arrived to appointment to learn that part was on back order, without any phone call ahead of time to notify me. Then they said they would place the order again and call to schedule appointment, which sounded like they hadn’t placed the order in the first place that would have alerted them that it was on back order. I called two days later to verify that they had placed the order and I was informed that the hitch was in stock and that they had scheduled me an appointment already, without any notification of said appointment date or time. As it turns out, their installer didn’t even work on the day that they had scheduled me that appointment. The manager told me to come in the next day at 2 for the install, at which point they told me that their installer would be leaving at 3 and wouldn’t be able to do it. The manager made arrangements for them to still get it done and 5 hours later I received a call saying that they weren’t able to install it that day. I finally was able to have it installed and when I picked it up they had added unnecessary accessories to my bill, which I declined. They ran my card with the accessories anyways, then they couldn’t figure out how to refund them, even the manager didn’t know how or was unwilling to help. This u-haul location is a disaster. I will be going across town to the south store going forward.

Absolutely worst customer service. Lady there is very rude. Finally got my paperwork for a trailer. She said someone will be right out. Waited for 20min and decided to hook up the trailer myself. Still had to wait for her to bring the wire harness though. Meanwhile other workers were sitting down smoking in the maintenance garage.
Beware using your credit card to reserve your truck!I made a reservation for a moving truck, dolly, and auto trailer so I could relocate out-of-state on 22AUG2015. I decided I didnt want the auto trailer and the staff said they would remove it from my reservation before I left the office. A week later (29AUG), a representative at the regional U-Haul office responsible for my new location called me to ask why I hadnt returned the auto trailer. I explained that the auto trailer never left the pickup location; she said she would look in to it and needed some time. We spoke daily so I could stay in the loop on her progress.Today (01SEP) I got an e-mail saying Id been charged another $130 for late fees for an auto trailer. This reservation was made at the S. Virginia location 3 days after Id left town and with a destination nowhere near where I moved. The regional representative that was working on the case said she couldnt do anything because the destination on the rental (Detroit?!?!) was out of her jurisdiction. She gave me the number for the regional office responsible for Reno; that representative doesnt know why I was charged for a trailer and cant help me file a complaint against the location for which she is responsible. This representative gave me the corporate customer service number. The corporate representative is, too, at a loss to explain why the S. Virginia Street workers split my reservation to accommodate this auto trailer to Detroit after my original reservation was complete. She also couldnt help because the credit card processing division was closed and there were no general managers with whom I could speak. The last straw was the representative suggesting someone might have happened to have my credit card number and that they, too, just happened to need to go to that same U-Haul. I cant get a refund until after I speak with a general manager (please allow 48-72 hours for them to contact you...) and wait another 15 days for the to process if any of this goes like they said it will.
The level of customer service at this location is very disappointing. Made an appointment after calling the number listed online, when I show up for the appointment they say the trailer hitch installer doesn’t work on that day. Then do pretty much nothing to help and never apologized for their mistake. Not the way paying customers should be treated. By the way, I called another uhaul location to see if they could help and they were great. They made some phone calls and really went the extra mile to help me.
Had my Jeep wired to pull a camping trailer. I got great service and a great price.
Lady who helped me to get my trailer was rude and wanted us to do her job for her. cashier was friendly but then there was another guy there talking about something that had nothing to do with the job he was doing not gonna rent from here again
Had a reservation, and had pre checked in. Hired guys to help load, went to grab the trailer, 40 minutes later I walked out NO TRAILER. These guys are the WORST. Seven guys, one working, six hiding in the back, when you make eye contact they run to the back. I lost money on this deal. Go anywhere but here - Seriously anywhere!
The worst customer service. The manager is rude and aggressive towards customers. A completely classless business.

Bad customer service ... simple propane fill, the guy that did it was complaining that he hates doing it after sitting and waiting for 30minutes with being told somebody would be right out.

Very rude staff. They just sit there and ignore you when you enter.
You can usually get what you come for and the wait is never too long. Sometimes when youre in a hurry it can feel that way, but if you take advantage of their scheduling and book your truck or trailer ahead of time, youll never have an issue
