I made an appointment so I wouldnt have to wait long. I needed to have two front tires put on during my lunch break. It took over two hours, to install two from tires on my Nissan. The staff was nice, but the service requested took far too long. If you have all day it wont be a problem. I am happy with the tires they recommended and the worked performed, aside from the length of time it took to accomplish it.

Not a lot of masking going on here. Had an appointment for my tire replacement, but still ended up waiting nearly an hour before they started working. I watched as they took the old tires off, then let the car sit for another 30 minutes before asking if I wanted an alignment with my 4 new tires (not sure why they couldnt ask that from the beginning). Then another 30 minutes waiting for someone to finally walk over and put the new tires on. Altogether just slow service that left me wondering what the point of making an appointment was.

Came in for oil change was scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Arrived at 10:45 a.m. got my back in garage to get oil changed. All they did was lift it up. Guy walked around on phone entire time. Another employee comes to me stating I have too many oil leaks and they couldnt perform the service after waisting 45 min of my time for nothing. Went to in and out they found absolutely no oil leaks. If you didnt want to do the oil change then what was point of you coming to work. Will not be returning back at all

Really disappointed today! I went in looking for 2 new tires and an alignment. While there I inquired about a bulb change for my headlight. Spoke with Elijah he seemed helpful. I explained to Elijah that it could possibly be a short in wiring as the bulb has worked and not worked a couple of times. No problem we will check it out. If its just the bulb we can replace it no problem . I did tell Elijah that I had a bulb in the car as earlier I had purchased 2 for $35 from an auto parts store. If we have to run a test at the $150 listed on quote. Ok I said lets hope its just the bulb. You will just have to pay labor. What he failed to mention was that labor would cost more than the test itself. I was charged for an hour and a half of labor on a single bulb they had delivered. Of course its a special bulb you just cant use any bulb. Well Ive turned my lights on . And it projects exactly like the 1 I had previously purchased 2 for $35 . As that 1 I just had replaced and it took the guy maximum 20 min. To change. Seems to me that someone is getting paid for time not spent working on actual issue. And to top it off when I looked on line the average cost of changing this bulb is $60-$70 at surrounding businesses. Ive been taking my car there since I first purchased it 2 years ago. I just dont know that I can return.

Elijah Tutt- extremely professional and courteous. This associate helped us find the exact tires we were looking for and got us out the door for cheaper than the other places. Definitely pleased with the service he and the other team members provided. Highly recommended.

Great experience here despite NTB corporate being awful. Alex & Elijah were polite and professional and got everything squared away with no issues. If all NTBs had front of house staff like this one, Id be way more likely to become a regular.

The guys up here are literally the nicest and most hard-working I have seen at any of their locations. I had an issue covered under warranty, and the gentleman that help me even let me know that sometimes the warranty company takes a long time to get things settled. With his diligence, and customer-focused attention to my satisfaction; he was able to get me in and out in under 30 minutes. Great location! I will do business with them again.

The employees are nice but every time I go here there is some catastrophic issue with my vehicle that they quote me $1000+ to repair. They also charge $20 for a flat repair and dont offer a veterans discount like many other places. Had to stop going here.

Great service. Casey was super helpful and friendly. I came here with the intention to replace 1 front tire. But she checked all my 4 tires and let me know another tire wore out and also need to be replaced. I got 2 new tires for $45 each, plus 40.000 miles warranty. Good deal! The only downside is 2 hour waiting time, but it was understandable since I was there on the peak time, Monday morning. They have coffee and tea in the back, next to the restroom, just in case you look for them in the lobby and you could not find it. Highly recommended !

A well-staffed location. I was promptly waited on upon walking in the door. The tire was repaired promptly and for a reasonable price.

I went to this place for an alignment, and it turned out the caster is out of spec for some reason. They just gave me the print out and said its done. The mechanic didnt even call me out while the car on the rack and show me what caused the caster out of spec. I even asked the guy in the front desk what would cause the issue, but he just said he doesnt know. I was like really?! Then another guy was standing there said maybe bad lower control arm. My concern is that the mechanic didnt didnt go over the issue with me. Im not sure its because I have alignment package and they dont make money from this?. Therefore, they didnt want to spend time on it? Very disappointed.

The gentlemen here were very nice. I came in due to a flat tire and the man helping me filled my tire up, but didn’t inspect it well enough to notice a nail lodged in there. Pretty much just said “your tires flat, let’s fill it up, come back if it goes flat again..”

Overpriced but great service though it takes 5 hours to do an alignment projected at 30 min. The service and people were great the estimated time of completion not so much. The cost was also more than most.

My brand new tire that I recently had replaced at another store was giving me issues and I had to drive to San Antonio in a few hours. I came to their store 45 minutes before they close and James helped me get my tire fixed and ready to go with very little wait time. Honestly, I didn’t even feel like I waited at all. And they weren’t even upset that I came in right before their closing time. Super nice and friendly staff! Thanks James! I’ll be back.

Received a flat tire repair from this location. Im a loyal Discount Tire customer, but I went to NTB because it was a Sunday and Discount Tire was closed. I was skeptical of NTB, but had a great experience. The staff were professional and friendly. They let me know about other issues with my car but did not pressure me to add services.Wait time was reasonable. Cost was free!One week later, my tire is still holding air, so Id say they did a good job. Thank you so much, guys at NTB!

This place recently fell off of a cliff! Ive used them for years and referred many folks to them. Ive always been impressed with their service. I took my car in for 2 new tires last Tuesday. They told me they would call me by 11:30am. I looked up at end of day and realized they never called. That began a circus-like experience of them making promises and NEVER following through. Over a 4 day period I called them a dozen times and they never called me. Often the phone would go to voice mail. I even drove by twice in order to get updates. At the end of 4 days they still didnt have my tires. The worst part is that each time I inquired they had to wander around the shop trying to find my tires and asking other employees if they had any information. Like I said--a circus. I finally took my car Friday to another shop which treated me well. I hated to do that because NTB is walking distance from my office and I am halfway through a prepaid 2 year alignment contract. But I just dont have time to deal with that kind of service. I hope they get things back on track.

I really wish the guys here were ASE certified. Sometimes they will screw up your car other times they will do a great job and you will be safe on the road. You never know. Seriously! Ive been coming here for 8+ years and this is what I feel about NTB. They will hire anyone!

Came here needing 4 brand new tires at a decent price and thats exactly what I got.. the guy helped me out and gave me the special on the certain tires i wanted even though they were for another brand. I received an estimate to replace the gasket on my rear differential. The charges are as follows:-Gasket Labor-95.99-Gasket-21.37 (an exorbitant price)-Gear Oil-29.98 (Recommended to use 80W90 although the label on the differential cover states 75W140).-Differential Drain Labor-60.01From my perspective there should not be a charge for differential drain labor and a charge for gasket labor. The gasket labor charge should cover everything. The process includes removing the cover. Once you remove the cover the fluid drains. Then you remove all old gasket material from the vehicle and the cover (paint cover if you like). Re-apply the new gasket to the cover using sealant, reattach the cover to the vehicle and allow the gasket sealant to cure. Then refill the differential.When I questioned Kristian about the matter he indicated the additional $60.01 charge is essentially for the friction modifier. It seems to me that if someone brought in their vehicle specifically for a fluid exchange a new gasket would be needed and all the supplemental would not have been added.

Update: Ive been in several times in the last 3-4 years for both regularly scheduled maintenance and unscheduled issues. Theyve always been quick, professional, and reasonable.I showed up late on a Monday evening with a 1/2 inch bolt head jammed through the tread of my tire. They got me back right away and took care of it for a ridiculously low price. Very professional and polite. Will definitely return

I always feel I get good service here, and the value is in line with what you will pay elsewhere. The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is time. Whether I schedule an appt or drop in, their time estimate is always about half of how long it really takes.

In my experience, it has become increasingly difficult to find an honest mechanic. I have been going too this NTB location for a little over a year now, for everything from oil changes to major repairs, and I could not be happier with their service! Chris has excellent customer service skills, and when I brought in parts that he said they couldnt replace (because of corporate policy), he was extremely apologetic and gave me the number of a trustworthy independent mechanic who could do it! I highly recommend this NTB.

I don’t approved or support shady businesses, took my girlfriends car in for an inspection. Was called and told that she needed a new cabin air filter and engine intake filter. Unluckily for him, I knew that was a lie because I had just changed both out myself on her previous oil change. When I called them out on the lie and said I’d like to see for myself, he said okay and we both hung up. Within 30-45 seconds he called me back and said he checked them both out himself and that he agreed they both were clean and good. How does one go out to the shop and check both the intake and cabin filters within 60 seconds? I know both of these take no more than 4-5 minutes (including opening the box and cleaning out the air box if there is granules inside) for both to be finished but 60 seconds? Like I said shady business and I’ll never return to this location.

The service was quick and efficient. My new battery was installed, and I was on my way in less than an hour.Kudos also go the NTB store on the George Bush. I just bought new tires there, so I called that location first. They didnt have a battery for my car, but they told me the two stores close to me that did have it.

Got an oil change. Was informed of some necessary needed maintenance. Will have my mechanic look at these issues. Great service.

Oil changed ended up costing me $700 in extra fees that I wasnt fully aware of. At all cost everyone should avoid this place. Not saying avoid all NTB but as long as Adam Justin or what ever manger is in changer and their employee Brian. No one should trust these people. Utterly mortified in what they think they can get away with and hold on to your vehicle without ones permission. they just left my car on all night sitting in neutral. Never ever come to this place.

They take good care of there customers

1 HOUR AND 45 MINUTES just remember that. I called earlier today to schedule and appointment so I didn’t have to wait an exorbitant amount of time like I did when I originally bought my tires from them. So I get my car to the shop at 2:30 pm for my set appointment to have one tire replace and have my tires rotated. My car proceeds to sit where I parked it for another thirty minutes, mind you that there are two or three other customers in the building with their cars being worked on and they have over four guys working in the shop. Finally they pull my car into the shop and it proceeds to sit there so I stand next to the desk, I’m asked multiple times if I need help to which I respond I have meetings to go to and just need my car...”Okay they are fitting the tire now and you should be on your way shortly.” This took one hour and fifteen minutes until my car was ready, meanwhile multiple tire/oil change workers (I will not disgrace mechanics by calling their employees that) are walking by with nothing to do. If you respect your time or have any other option, please choose somewhere else to spend your hard earned money.

My sister has a honda that had a sensor that came on for the tires. So we took it to NTB. The customer service is excellent and the guy who waited on us was so personable and very respectful! Will definitely use them for my car!!

Jeff was friendly and courteous, lobby was clean and comfortable. When contacted about my single tire replacement, I asked to make an appointment for service. I was informed an appointment wasnt necessary and they should be able to service my vehicle quickly. 1:20 later, I wish I had been able to schedule an appointment.

I went to this NTB for service this last weekend. I called ahead to see if they had the shocks in stock that I needed. The service tech on the phone was extremely polite even though he had a headcold and felt terrible. He gave me a quote over the phone (I didnt even ask for one but was intending to ask). He told me they had the parts and if I came over, he would have the ticket ready and they would start work immediately. When I arrived, they not only took my vehicle right back (and yes, they were busy with other customers as well) but finished ahead of time. They were efficient, polite and, as far as I can tell, did great work. Would definitely recommend! My only disappointment was they were out of coffee in the customer lounge. Busy day.

The staff was very courteous but the wait was over 90 minutes just to get a tire put on.

I got new tires from NTB at the end of last year, with the road hazzard warranty added on, & came in today to get a screw out of it. Luckily it didn’t go through the tread, so no hole to patch, but they literally got me in & out. Im writing this because I called the main dispatch number before they opened to schedule an appointment, which is what I only recommend if you need to do it, because by appointment time I wouldnt have been scheduled until 2 to 3 hours from now, because they supposedly already had X amount of scheduled people waiting. I told the dispatcher Id chance being a walk-in as they open & guess what? When I pull in theres 1 customer & vehicle being serviced, in which they pull me in immediately & repair my tire.

Needed all new tires and alignment. They estimated 2 hours. Well five and half hours later I got the truck back with a broken stud and they asked if I wanted to pay them to fix it...definitely not. My husband has always installed the tires by hand so when he mentioned they had to have done it wrong with an impact the counter guy got an attitude. Poor service, poor worksmanship. Go to a different NTB. Two stars were for the price.

New management and staff excellent. Had some issues over the 14 years visiting this store, but recent experience has been much better. Recently saved me $2k in diagnosing a botched brake job another shop had performed that claimed other expensive repairs were needed. Also recently took care of some unintended issues resulting from a repair job very professionally. Will go out of my way to visit again for future services.

I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, it’s been two hours and they’re still not finished. When I spoke to them about this, they insisted that it takes 1-2 hours to change oil and rotate tires before admitting that “other cars were in front of mine”. The appointments are a joke and if you value your time at all, don’t bother with this place.

I had a great experience at this location today. I stopped in thinking I needed my altanator replaced after being told by another auto specialist. I stopped by and they tested it and told me that I didnt need to replace it. They aired up my tires and sent me on my way. As a female, that speaks volumes to me! Thank you to Brandon and the Sunday team, I appreciate the friendly environment, fast service and honesty!

I went in for a set of new tires and I hadn’t made any type of appointment. They were moderately busy and I was expecting to wait quite a while, but Alex and Brandon up front gave me a reasonable time to expect my car to be done. About 20 minutes into the service, Alex took me out to my car to show me some things that were obviously wrong with it. I really appreciate being taken to the car to be shown these things, otherwise I wouldn’t have ever known the importance of getting them repaired. He gave me an estimate and the price wasn’t too ridiculous for the amount of work that needed to be done. The manager suggested I work on what was safety related first, and repair as I could. I wanted to get get everything out of the way, so I applied for the NTB card and got approved. The 6 months no interest is super helpful. So we got everything taken care and my car rides like it’s brand new. I don’t have any worries about wearing out my tires or putting my families safety in jeopardy from faulty parts. NTB has a customer for life!!! Thank you, Alex, Brandon and the manager!!

I pulled up with a flat tire & one of the men immediately came to help me. He put air in it & let me know that there was a plug in it! I just bought this tire yesterday from a place near my home!! I’m thankful they were able to help me so I can head to this other tire shop & give them a piece of my mind

Nail in front tire. Pulled in and was met and then processed before I got in the door. Also asked for a state inspection. No appointment. In and out in no time. Good job.

I came in 10 am Monday for an alignment because it was pulling to the right. Got a call back at 11:30 that it was ready and I was given a receipt. No paper for the alignment results was given. Then I drove it and it was worse than when I first came in. Now the car pulls to the right when you release the steering wheel. I called and was told to take the car back so they can fix it. Came in at 0730 the next day, car got released at 0930 and it was not any better on the second try. Disappointing and a complete waste of time.

Had a super crazy request from them: replace the tires on my husbands car without calling him, and within a certain time for a birthday surprise. They replaced the tires, and found other issues, which they showed me (CV joint and struts) - and they were STILL able to get it all fixed so I could get his car back to his parking space before he got out of work.

Made an appointment for new tires, I had a flat. They talked me into getting my alignment checked by taking $20 off. THEY DID THE ALIGNMENT WITH THE FLAT TIRE! Had to wait 3 FREAKING HOURS for the new tires. Noticed the vehicle was pulling to the right after leaving (this is when I realized what they did). Made follow up appointment next day to correct their mistake. They DID NOT save my appointment. Was told 20-30 minute wait. After 30 min, I was told it would be another 30 minute wait. To correct their own screw up. NOPE!Made an appointment with a different NTB, so well see if it just this location. DO NOT GO TO THE NTB-RICHARDSON LOCATION!

Excellent service for 2 tires on my car. Alex went the extra mile to get the tires I needed. Service was fast and painless. I had a negative experiences with a different NTB location and always went to Discount Tire as a result, but I think this NTB will be my go-to from here on out. (Fingers Crossed)
