Had both a thermostat replaced and radiator flush and filled here after my check engine light came on. I dealt with Tim and his son Daniel and both were very friendly and knowledgeable. Work was done in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. I would come back again as they have earned my trust. Better to help out a small business than a dealership sometimes.

My son had a problem because the Check Engine light was on. I didnt know who I would call in Richardson. I read reviews about Quality First Auto Service in Richardson, TX and tried them for the first time. It turned out Daniel who is a mechanic was amazing!! He fixed it and had very clear explanations. He also found another issue that I was having for a long time with the Throttle bore being very dirty, he cleaned it and it works perfect now. The BEST of all was that he didnt try to sell us more than we needed or scam us. The price was fair and I would recommend this shop to anyone. Hes a GREAT guy who you can trust.

I happened to find them by google search after I got tired of visiting car repair shops that are trying to make more money to offer unnecessary services. I am so happy to find this place. Finally I found someone I can trust !They are very nice, honest, patient people and very friendly even to my daughter.I went to 3 different places before them and their prices are much more than I expected. But what I paid here is almost one third of their estimate.QFAS tell you exactly what you do/dont need for your car.I dont live close to them but its worth to drive here as its not easy to findthe great place like this. I would recommend here to anyone.

I was nervous about taking my truck to the mechanic but the experience was great. They dealt with the warranty company and even went the extra mile to make sure I had my truck back for the holidays. We will be taking all of our cars there from here on out, for everything from oil changes to full engine repairs. They definitely just got a lifetime customer

I recently had several things worked on on my car. I was impressed. I called and talked to several mechanics over the phone first. I ended up on a very long call with Daniel. He was so patient with me and all of my questions. He never got irritated at all. Other places I called basically rushed through my questions and gave me very vague answers. Over the phone, in person, and after my work was completed I never felt taken advantage of like so many mechanics try to do with women. My husband even ended up taking his truck there to get something fixed. He was impressed by how quick the turnaround was. He, as well as I, would highly recommend this place to anyone needing work done.

We first learned of Quality when I was told by a certified Lexus mechanic that my car needed a new transmission, to the tune of $5000+. First I laughed, then left there and went to a transmission shop, who, after a day or so, told me I didnt have a transmission problem, but they didnt know exactly what it was. They recommended Quality because they were good at diagnosing problems. Long story...they did figure out that my issue involved a loose ground wire. A little more complicated than that, but I was only out around $500 rather than $5000. Big difference. Since then we have used Quality for almost everything on all our vehicles, and have recommended them many times.

Quick and reliable service. I came in with a coolant leak, and they fixed it within 2 hours for a great price.

Daniel was GREAT! Did a very thorough inspection of the cooling system to determine that the problem was isolated to a single issue. Quick and easy repair! I would recommend this business to anyone! (And I already have!)

Honda Prelude repair. Excellent job, i forgot to leave this review last time but i had my car checked out by these guys and they did a great job. they notified me every step of the way and if they had to do any extra work they made sure i knew about it before hand. They hand crafted a part from scratch and fixed a problem that AAA mechanics in garland could not fix.

Tim and Daniel are the most honest, sincere, and capable folks that I know. They will fix any problem and fix it right the first time. No surprises. They have taken care of my vehicles for over 10 years and I couldnt be happier. I highly recommend them.

I have a 1971 Chevrolet G10 Van with the stock engine and carburetor. I took it to so called experts but no one could get it to run right on todays pump gas. I had electrical problems with my 2006 Ford F150 fixed here last week. I was given a full list of faults they found, and the cost to repair for my approval. Everything was done as promised, timely, and for the amount quoted. Plano Transmission recommended this shop, and now I do too.

Best Auto Repair shop i have ever been to hands down! By far the most honest, real people i have ever experienced in a auto shop. Ashley (the owner) was a very kind man. I called the shop and had my car taken in that day. April (the receptionist) called the towing company and had my vehicle towed up the auto shop from my school. When i got there they immediately began to look at my car. I filled out paper work and explained to them the issues with my vehicle. I drive a 2011 Chevy Cruze and it was over heating and had a rattling noise under the hood. Despite the Cruze being a new model all together Ashley was extraordinarily knowledgeable about the vehicle and jumped in immediately. They are 100% and honest and explained to me this could be a minor issue that could be easily fixed or it could end up being something much more serious, potentially evolving needing a new vehicle. They told me not to worry and that they would initially being trying the simple solution and let me know the status from there. And he was right all it needed was a new water pump, thank goodness! My car was in the shop for only 2 days and was done and ready to go! April picked me up from and brought me out to my car when it was finished! Amazing prices as well, very reasonable and all in all such a great experience. Such nice honest people, i will not be bringing my vehicle any where besides to Ashley for now on!!

One of the few mechanic shops that know what they are doing and explained everything well like an experienced mechanic should. No pop ups or surprises. Reasonable and fair pricing and quick turnaround for what I needed done. If you are having some car trouble and live around this area, this is who I would use. I had to get a new fuel pump which is $$$ but he gave me fair labor pricing and I couldnt have asked for better service. On top of that the owner (Tim)gave me a ride home so I wouldnt have to call a friend or uber. Real standup old school guy.

Tim was nice guy, recommended to me by another shop and said this is the place for carb overhauls. originally took to have valves adjusted on my 30 year old land cruiser. dropped truck off they quoted me a little higher than dealership but Tim said they had a special way of doing valve adjustments. it was around 300 bucks which i thought was reasonable so went ahead and dropped the truck off . he had for 2 days which was not a too bad. . Tim called and said she needs some TLC for sure .went and picked up truck still had some valve train noise. he said Carb needs overhaul and may need motor work, headgasket and exhaust work. said we could do one thing at a time because of cost. I picked up truck and few weeks later another guy recommended me taking to another place for second opinion. took over to another shop and guy looked at it and said who worked on this truck before ?. I told him a place in Richardson. H had for one day and said come pick it up its ready.he said its really doesnt need much at all, couple if oil leaks and front sxles are leaking. he said the intake manifold gasket had one bolt that was loose that just needed to be tighten. he said it was very obvious. that bolt was sitting in place just rattling. he said carb needed a simple adjustment, there was about 2 dollars worth of vaccuum lines that needed to be replaced. some were missing and the valves were not adjusted at all 3 of them were loose. he charged me about 400 dollars mostly labor and the truck runs like perfect now super quiet . i even had him do vapor test for head gasket leak and compression check and he said it was on par for factory specs. i had some do the front axles and had them resealed which needed to be done. I believe who ever was working on the vehicle at quality first had no clue on what he was doing or no experience dont think any of the work was even done. not impressed at all. wont be going back.

Have been taking my cars here since 1993, and would not dream of using any other auto service. Recommended to many friends, and not one has been anything but fully pleased.

I own a 1980 Jeep CJ-5. She is my baby and i am always concerned when repairs are needed. I brought my Jeep to Quality First and I have never felt more comfortable working on me Jeep. Everything was explained by the mechanic and there were no pop up expenses. They expalin everything in common english and what work will be done. I cant tell you how comforting this is in the days of ripoffs and bad work. The Beck family is built on fixing things right the first time and honoring thier commitments. The firat word in their name is quality and they deliver. If you have car trouble please consider this shop because you can delete all the car repair shops you currently have. If my 33 year old Jeep can be in good hands then your car or truck will br fixed right. I wished I could think of more things to tell you about them.. but trust me on this one.
