This was really a great experience in purchasing furniture and Glenn who is the store manager just made the whole process easy and quick. We needed our couches by Thanksgiving so Glenn communicated with inventory to ensure what we could get in time. I really recommend not just this business but location as all the employees seen so helpful and wanting to help. Even cashing out, Yvette was did a great job in going over our paperwork in detail which I appreciate!

Ruby-Gordon Furniture is the place to go. Staff is super friendly and helpful, they dont try to force anything on you (unlike sale reps. from larger chain furniture places) We were greeted by (Gordon?) and he helped us pick out pieces for our new living space. My partner and I are a young couple- we were never talked down to and had a great expereince furniture shopping overall. So I was super reluctant to go into Ruby-Gordon after my experience at two other furniture stores earlier in the day. We walked in and as usual I was met by a salesman, but UNLIKE other places, he introduced himself then left us alone! Literally the ONLY reason we made a purchase today was because Jim didnt bug us. He didnt upsell us, simply told us the price, talked about the protection plan rang us up and we were out. On less than 30 minutes we picked furniture, payed and scheduled delivery. BOOM! Thank RG!

This isnt my first time shopping at Ruby Gordon. Ive always had great experiences.Recently, I needed several pieces of furniture. I had a unique (and stressful) situation with a specific timeframe. I stopped into the Henrietta location and I was lucky enough to be helped by Ron Bonczyk. I explained my situation to Ron and he was awesome from the very start. He was incredibly kind, insightful, and personable. I really enjoyed working with him. He made my stressful situation so easy to work through.He went above and beyond for me and made sure I had all of the furniture in time. Covid has caused delays with shipping/delivery and furniture manufacturing, which limited my options - but Ron found ways of making things work out perfectly. He worked magic behind the scenes. I am so happy and appreciative of all of Rons efforts and I would not hesitate to go directly to him the next time I buy furniture. Hes amazing and I completely recommend asking for him when visiting the Henrietta store!

I was so happy with my experience at Ruby Gordon. We have been looking for a sectional sofa for over a month. We had a bad experience at another store and decided we would stop in to Ruby Gordon to see if they had anything. We were greeted at the door and shared our frustrations. We ended up finding exactly what we wanted and got to pick the color and everything. We felt so taken care of! We can’t wait until our sectional comes. With covid we know it will be some time, but we’re so glad to have found what we want, not settle for what other stores had.

I will never purchase anything from this company ever again, and telling anyone who will listen the same thing. I purchased couches a little over 3 years ago, and they are junk. I paid over 7k for these couches plus the extended warranty, which I was told covers everything. The arms on my couches are almost falling off. I contacted the service department and was told the warranty didnt cover this issue! The last set of couches I purchased was from RAYMOUR & Flanigans. I had it over 15 years and not one issue. Also I paid a lot less for it . I still have couches in my house that I purchased from value city about 30 years ago and still have no issues with this furniture. I paid less than 2k. I will not put another scent into fixing these couches. Not to mention, that I had to have the arm fabric fixed, because the decorative edge unraveled. That was a cluster as well. This whole company is useless

I bought a couch from here with Diana S who sold me a warranty stating this would protect my furniture. Well my son caused food stains and pulled on 1 of the cushions causing the seam to rip. I called Serveco and the company says they only do spots and not accumulation of food stain which I reported within the 30 days. They also said the rip on the seam was too big. They wont refund the $69 I never used either. Read the reviews about this company online many low ratings. The warranty is a scam for the sales people to make more money - DONT buy it.

Ordered and paid for a dining table set in February and it is now July and still haven’t gotten my goods the only thing I have received is a lack of communication and delivery date push backs after I myself called to check. I am very disappointed and unsatisfied

I give one star due to the delivery drivers respecting my home in every way and assisting me with the product mistake the store made. We purchased a sofa on 10/25/20. We were told that delivery would be 4-6 weeks out because of covid. Well, it is now 3/7/21 and we STILL DO NOT HAVE THE SOFA. Ruby Gordon was initially calling regularly to tell us that it was still not in. But then the calls from the store eventually stopped and my wife had to start calling to see where this mystery sofa was. I went back into the store in February and spoke with the VP personally. He told me that if it was not on the truck on 3/6/21 then all I had to do was stop back in and I would get a refund. He made a note of my visit on my account.Well, I stopped back in and now he is saying it should be on the truck on 3/9. He made up some nonsense about when we say itll be on the truck it could be the week before or the week after and thats what I agreed to.This is NOT WHAT I AGREED TO. A 4-6 week delay is understandable. I could even understand 2-3 month delay with everything going on in NYS with covid. But SIX MONTHS? And then to be LIED TO and told that I agreed to wait yet another week for delivery?1 star because the sofa (in theory) was nice. And the sales woman we dealt with initially was pleasant. But, it has been a nightmare ever since.Heres how often we will be purchasing anything from Ruby Gordon in the future: NEVER!

I worked with Serena as I was interested in a leather recliner .She worked with me on a particular piece I was interested in. She followed up with me and I was able to place an order for the recliner chair by phone as I needed time to think about it.Impressed with the overall experience. Keep up the good work Ruby!! I have bought thousands of dollars of furniture over the years from ruby gordon .I just bought a mattress and box springs i was told by the salesman they would takeaway the old mattress and springs for a extra cost. when they came they told me they would only take the mattress. now i have to find someone to remove the box springs. NOT HAPPY

I dont typically take time to write reviews unless service was really great, or really bad.I moved at the end of August and gave my couch to my child in college knowing I would replacing it. I had no idea how significantly Covid impacted furniture production! I looked at several stores before settling on something from Ashley Furniture, which I purchased on AUGUST 31ST 2020 with a promised delivery within 90 days.That date then got pushed to end of November, then Mid December, then MAYBE mid January, and finally MAYBE mid February. 90 days was painful enough, especially since I work from home. Ive purchased from Ashley before without issue. I was understanding as I realize Covid has had many unintended impacts, but this was beyond ridiculous.After hearing my date was pushed out yet again I decided to head to Ruby Gordon and see if I could get something else I liked in a reasonable time, for a reasonable price. I found something in about 30 minutes, that they had in their warehouse, that could be delivered TWO DAYS LATER!!!!Glenn and Taylor made the buying process quick and easy and I was beyond thankful to see the delivery truck pulling up, as promised 2 days from the evening I purchased it!!!If youre looking for a company with great service, thats easy to work with, go see Glenn and Taylor at Ruby Gordon in Henrietta!

The lady that took care of the customer service when I was there was kind of rude to my friend and my husband. The gentleman was nice to me but she was rude and stan offish!!! It was close to closing time and she just wanted to go home!!!! I was planning on buying a chair from there, but after I got into my truck and found out that she was so rude I decided to buy somewhere else!!!! She literally bulted to her car as soon as we walked out! If she wasnt so rude she would have gotten a huge sale from me, its sad!!! It was this past month Jan,2021

I was in the store today and I had a fantastic experience.I worked with Ron and he was running all over the store and putting together different options for my parents and I as I move in to my first apartment that is all my own. We came in looking at couches (we already had one reserve red at a different store and I was set on it)- while there, I found a couch I loved even more, paired it with a coffee table, added in some pillows, tied the entire design together with the perfect carpet, added in a corner table, and finished it off with a lamp.Ron brought all of the items to our attention, and I was much happier leaving than I was walking in. Pockets were spent, but the joy and excitement of building my living room and Ron as well as Dave the manager really brought it all to life.I’ve never had a better experience while shopping for anything, including buying my first car.Anyone looking to buy some furniture should go here and ask for Ron personally. Super friendly, cracks jokes, really turned what I thought was going to be a miserable 2 hour experience of my mom doing all the shopping to me having a great time and feeling like I made some new friends in the process.From one satisfied customer who would return, to someone looking for advice. We were looking for a new mattress so while at the barber in Greece Ridge my wife looked around the store next door. When I arrived she had already decided on a mattress because R-G has a process that the sales person uses to define what is important to you in a mattress and then shows you what is available to satisfy your need. My wife said it was so easy and Ryan was thorough and patient going step by step through the process. And then along came Dave, the sales manager, it only got better. Dave was also very personable and helpful answering any questions we had. As someone else said it felt like making new friends. We ended up getting an adjustable base as well along with other accessories.Today the delivery was made, 3 days after purchase per our schedule. The delivery men, very polite, were on time and had everything set up quickly. When carrying everything in they stopped at the front door to remove their shoes, snowed last night, before carrying anything up stairs. This experience deserves more than 5 stars and you can bet we will be back for future purchases.

The customer service at the Henrietta location is unacceptable. I will never purchase anything from this place ever again. Truly disappointed with the ottoman that I ordered - the legs came cracked, and when I reached out to get new ones they didn’t show up for 3 weeks. Mind you they showed up to the wrong address. What a joke this place is. If you need furniture go buy it elsewhere. If I could give this place 0 stars I would.

A long overdue thank you to Ruby Gordon and especially Wayne, interior designer. Who knew that this free designer service was offered! I was lucky enough to be able to purchase all new furniture when I bought my townhouse. I was very impressed by the store itself and the range of furniture it offered. My experience starting with Wayne, the salesman, even the delivery men could not have been better or easier to work with. After delivery, when I encountered a problem, the repairman was prompt and exceptionally cordial. Very disgusted with the manager of repairs in the Greece NY locations. Very rude and condescending and not helpful at all. Spoke over me and did not listen to my concerns and kept talking about manufacturer problem and could not help at all. Will never return to this store due to his lack of people skills.
