I made an appointment to have my car looked at because my car was shaking. They were able to diagnose the issue and explain what was wrong quickly. Even though they did not have the tires I needed in stock, they provided a quote and the contact information for the NTB in Cedar Park. Im very appreciative of their help!Sure, they are understaffed but these people leaving poor reviews need to be a little more empathetic and patient. The customer service at this location was great!

Fairly certain I paid for a tire I didnt receive... Also, tire pressure on all 4 tires was drastically different, like 31/35 on the front and 38/33 on the back... 😳

Dont go to NTB. You have to make an appointment (for no reason). Made an appointment for 2:30 for just an oil change (wanted to make it for 4:00) it is now 3:50 and my vehicle is still sitting in the parking lot. They are happy to waste your time.Why make a appointment for a certain. Time if you cant honor that time, or even close to it.

This location is well under staffed. I had made an appointment for wheel balancing and I arrived 15 minutes early. I was told that there was only 1 mechanic and they were running 1 hour behind. 3 hours later is when my vehicle was done. The guy checking people in wasnt even assisting with the vehicle repairs.

SCAM ALERT! Would highly recommend you avoid this place at all costs. I am a car mechanic but due to convenience and my back injury I decided to get a simple oil change at this location. Upon inspecting my car after the service I noticed that hoses were pulled and switches were removed as well as intentional engine damage by the technicians were caused that were not there previously. On top of that my oil was not even changed. I paid 25 dollars to have my car intentionally destroyed and the service not provided when nothing was wrong with my car to begin with. Sad to see this location take place in the scams you see on the internet and forums.

Great big sale!!!! But not for my (fairly common) car/wheel size. Theyre probably fine, but I dont believe a good deal sale offering when I read it from then any more. Its surely likely that their primary competitors are the same.

Came here last Saturday April 10th for an oil change appointment. I understand Saturday is a busy day but I made an appointment for noon, arrived at least 10 minutes early, and was standing in line behind 2 people. By the time I got to the front, it was past noon. The lady checking me in was nice and I showed her something I wanted the tech/mechanic to look at with a tire rim. She told me it wasn’t supposed to be like that and it wouldn’t pass a state inspection. She also proceeded to tell me I needed a rim on the other rear tire as well. I went to another shop where they successfully did a state inspection. I inquired about the rim and they told me the driver side didn’t have a dent so they passed it, but confirmed I needed the one rim. I do not appreciate people using scare tactics especially someone who only checks people, and is not actually working on the car.

This place is a joke.. book a tire repair online arrived1 hr early..I am told they cant get to my vehicle for a simple tire repair for 3days..1st correct your appointments or call and notify..2nd not 1 person was in lobby and both bays that were open had 0 cars in themSeems like they are more interested doing nothing than taking care of customers

Made an appointment for a Saturday. Received a phone call about an hour before my scheduled appointment saying they don’t have any technicians to fix my flat. Rescheduled to the next day. Showed up to my rescheduled appointment and was told they don’t have any technicians to fix my flat… I guess appointments mean nothing to them.

Ever since i got an oil change at this place my car has been leaking oil. first, i was on my way home afterwards and my tire light started beeping for whatever reason and i was concerned and took it back and they told me the tires were low, shortly after they aired them up the following week my light was on again. i will never come back to this place it took hours to get an oil change and tire rotation done incorrectly. I would’ve been better off using a youtube video myself cause i doubt i could do any worse of a job than this place did.just an update i took it back into this location to get it looked at and fixed after another mechanic would not touch my car or be held liable for the drain plug that got stripped at NTB. I was given a business card to Matt, their store manager, a number that didn’t even work. After trying to call that location they needed called me back so I then had to go through customer service just to have to drive all the way to another NTB in Austin. This NTB location mentioned to me that Matt is never really at his store so it made a lot of sense that i had this experience at his location. Unfortunately i cannot give zero stars.

2.5hour wait for a oil change? Never going here again I understand other matters must be attended to when other customers are entering but seriously they had packs of completed orders ready to be charge and be on the way but they just spend most of their time walking around doing who knows what. And after waiting in the line for 45min like I’m supposed to the lady decided to attend 2 other people ahead of me knowing I was waiting their first like come on, mister car washes lube and oil is much faster then this

The female employee is so unprofessional. I was there this morning, she yelled at a customer who was using a walker. She left to complain to other staff members and I assumed to calm down. After she came back in, she yells at the same customer again and the gentleman was already seated PEACEFULLY! The other male employees tried to calm her down but she wasnt having it. She called the cops on the customer, he was not in the wrong. I left before getting anything done to my car.

Absolutely terrible. I set an appointment up with them days in advance and the day of the appointment I walk in to be told they are short staffed and will not be able to complete the job. There was no courtesy call or heads up given prior to arriving, furthermore, no effort was made to make things right. I will most definitely not be coming back here again.

I made an appointment for an oil change. According to the add on the website the oil change included tire rotation. So I get called into the bay area. Where Im told they dont rotate tires so they try to sell me tires. Then they tell me l need a drivers side control arm and alignment. So a 70 dollar oil change turned into a1,100 hundred dollars sales pitch. Then I get home and open the hood to find spilled oil all over my engine. I will never return to this facility

If you are looking for a professional staff with expertise in tire care, this is your location. I had a slow leak in a rental car tire and they were super busy with customers purchasing full sets of tires, alignments, etc. at the end of their day. They treated me as a priority and quickly identified this issue and repaired it. I cant say enough good things about the staff and the location.

Was quoted an hour wait for an oil change and inspection. Over 2.5 hours they finally finished. The trainee checking people in had his mask under his nose and repeatedly pulled it down to talk to people. I inquired about the time spent waiting twice and each time was given a rude response. The bathrooms were disgusting. I won’t be back.

We had a new front tire go bad on our truck yesterday evening while pulling a trailer, 2 hours from our home and 2 hours from our destination. When we exited I-35 we were right in front of this NTB. A couple bay doors were open and we breathed a sigh of relief. However, when my husband went in the front door he was told that they were closed. He explained we were 2 hours from home, but was told Sorry, were closed. Yes, it was 6:30 and they closed at 6, but a little compassion would have gone a LONG way... Especially considering they were still working on other cars when we got there. If they simply could have taken 10 extra minutes to sell us a tire and mount it, we could have changed it ourselves. Theres no way I could turn my back on anyone like that, even a stranger.

Have been getting my car repaired here for years...trustworthy and honest company.. took it to Nissan and they tried to charge me $4k in repairs which it only cost me $300 at NTB...and Nissan seemed to overlook something that NTB found..you be the judge on these 📷 NTB sent me after my car was at the dealership..

Had an appt days before 1230, when u get there for my 1230apt. They tell me 1.5hrs, which is crazy when i have an appt. After 1.5hrs my truck still had not moved and asked how much longerand the tell me 50 addional minutes and i was like NO im not waiting that mch more time when i had an appt. I had to leave without any service being dont to truck and a big waste of my time

Let me just say the customer service is out of this world! I had to replace a tire last year and they did not give back the tire key. Almost a year later I had to replace another tire (I have awful luck with finding nails) The new manager Brad purchased a new one to replace mine! Cannot recommend NTB enough!

Round Rock Texas Location.Customer service is terrible. Spend 3.5 hours getting tires mounted. Was much longer than estimated. I arrived home only to find out their team forgot to install one of my center caps.I called the store and sure enough, they located it. So I go in to pick it up and waited 25 minutes to ask them to get my cap. 2 customers arrived after me and were served before me. So this Customer Service person wanders around for a few seconds and is headed to the service bay to find my cap. I direct her to the Employees room where I was told it would be. I get my cap and this pink-haired customer liaison flippantly says Have a Blessed Day in the same tone of voice you tell someone to go screw themselves.Listen folks. There are lots of other choices for tires. Firestone, Discount Tires, Sams Whole Sale, CostCo. Go somewhere else. You deserve better than this place can offer you.

It a great place to take your car for repairs

The service at this location was amazing! They were so accommodating when I came in shortly before closing with a flat tire. I was in town for work and needed a new tire to drive over 200 miles back home that night after work and they were so sympathetic and helpful. I never write reviews, but they made a tough situation so much easier when they did not have to.

The 8002 Research experience was VERY poor. The Service attendant was of no help and really passive on trying to help with a bad battery still under warranty. Had to go all the way too Round Rock 1650 S IH35 Frontage rd location which was fast, resolved my issue with 5 Star service.

I have always felt the team at the Round Rock location is honest and helpful. They have accommodated us multiple times, even when they were about to close and we had a car emergency pop up. Service has been prompt and they work with you to come up with affordable options. Highly recommend them!

Service from the call made after setting an appointment to the end of service was top-notch. When I called to check for a warranty on tires Cindy was patient, and kind when unable to find my car in the system after giving her multiple phone numbers and ways to find me in the system. Unfortunately then we couldn’t. As soon as I walked in the store and told her who I was, she instantly greeted with a big smile saying she remembered talking to me, and immediately said we are going to find you in this system. After she worked her magic and gathered some information...viola..! I had set my appointment for a new tire and rather than sell me something I may not need, she had the guys examine tire to ensure I was getting the right service. I appreciate her patience, willingness to help, and providing superior customer service.. especially after the day I had. Cindy you rock and are truly amazing!! Thank you for reminding me why I only trust NTB when it comes to my car!!!! Also to the gentlemen who thoroughly explained what happened with my tire, and what y’all did to fix it- thank you!!!! Top notch place. It has a good service team. Prices are fair. Work was great. The wait time was as explained.

Purchased four new tires and paid extra for the tire repair and rotation. I brought my vehicle in today to have the tires rotated, balanced, and a repair due to a nail in the tire. I dropped the vehicle off before 1 PM and was informed it should be ready by 5 pm at which is there closing time. At 4:30 PM I received a call to inform me that they could not do the repair noting there wasnt enough treat left on the tire. Of course the up sale came offering me a new set of tires. I declined that knowing there was plenty of tire tread left. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed that my vehicle hadnt been moved since I dropped it off. Turns out my request for a rotation and balanced was ignored. I understand that the company sets their own safety standards, however, in my opinion they just used that as an excuse to sell another set of tires.

Hubs is in military training right now and I’m driving his old truck. On my way out of town and get a flat at 7:45p on Friday. I came in and they were happy to help. Very thankful for their sweet customer service, even when I came rolling in at the last minute!

I had a great experience here! I was just getting off of a 30+ day training with the military and still had a 4hr trip ahead of me, and these guys were awesome. They were kind, quick, and efficient. Big thanks to Brandon and Tanner (and the sweet lady whose name I forgot to write down) for taking such good care of me.

This last weekend while working on our sons vehicle, we noticed slush in the radiator. Called NTB and spoke to Jeremy. He gave me his thoughts on what it could be and asked me to bring it in. The following day (Sunday), he called to let me know we had fluid in the coolant lines. Luckily it wasnt the head gasket. He thoroughly explained the issue and quoted me two options, identifying the critical parts to be replaced immediately and fixes that could be differed. We opted to replace all of the parts. A couple days later the vehicle was ready. Ramon the mechanic took the time to explain the issue and what was fixed. As I drove home, I noticed the vehicle overheating so I took it back in. Jeremy was not there at the time, however we spoke later and he informed me they would take care of it and make it right. He was true to his word; they went over every part again. Ultimately it was a clogged thermostat. They replaced the part and flushed the lines again. The vehicle is running just fine now. Its refreshing to know some folks still make the customer priority and take pride in their work. We will be taking our vehicles back to Jeremy. Great Job gents, thanks for all of you hard work and persistence to find the problem and correct it.

A couple of weeks ago our van suddenly started vibrating and making a dragging sound. We figured we had a separated belt and wanted to take care of it immediately. We happened to be near the store on 183 near Cedar Park and stopped in over an hour before close. We were told they didnt have time to provide us with a new set of 4 tires. In desperation I called this store were I bought the set of tires for my other vehicle. I explained what was going on with my vehicle and was told to come in they would get to me. Mind you, at this time it was now 45 minutes until close for them plus it would be another 15 minutes for me to drive there. They helped me get a good deal on a proper set of tires even though by the time my vehicle was done it was past their closing time I cant say enough about the wonderful customer service I received here both times Ive bought tires from them.Also, my vehicle needs E rated tires. I never checked to see if indeed I was sold E rated tires the last time I bought them from another known tire shop. As it turns out I did NOT have E rated tires. Hence NTB selling me proper tires.

The staff at NTB were friendly and professional. They explained everything that was done to my truck, and answered all the questions I had. The technician Nathan was wonderful! I highly recommend this location! I will be back!

This place is a mess. Sometimes the service is good which made me come back several times. However twice now I’ve had a pretty bad experience. I had a donut from Starbucks that I got right before coming in that I forgot in my car. When I got my car back someone had taken it. Who does that? Today I had an appointment for an oil change and it took 15 minutes for them to even acknowledge me at the counter and then the oil change took almost 2 hours. What is going on here?

1 star because it took 2 hours for an oil change, they didnt update the oil change light in my car when they did it, and they tried to scam me out of $1500 worth of repairs I took my car to another mechanic and they said there was literally nothing wrong with the parts that ntb tried to sell me. Will not be returning and I hope everyone reading this review listens to my warning of DO NOT let the work on your car the same day! Go get a second opinion on your car from another mechanic first.

Brandon Hill was superb all around in my customer experience! World class customer service through and through! I came in with many issues and a concerning budget. He personally handled the experience from A to Z and it was one of the best experiences Ive had at an auto shop in my life! My car is driving like the day I bought it. At 6PM on a Saturday evening my F-250 started in with the infamous Ford death wobble. I exited into their parking lot and by 7:15PM I was safely back on the road. What a knowledgeable and amazing team.

This NTB has its pros and cons. As long as youre patient and respectful with the staff, theyre usually more than willing to bend over backwards to satisfy. I highly recommend asking for Chris. If necessary, ask to speak Jeremy if any problems arise.He recently went well out of his way to pick up a specific tire at another location (at my request). Once we were ready to install, we realized the tires were much older than expected. He immediately apologized and offered to get another set in stock. After much deliberation, he knew I wanted that specific model and offered a much better sale price.3 weeks later, I hit nail and needed a replacement. Once again they were happy to order the tire from a local dealer and GIVE me a full size spare until the tire arrives.They have been slow, behind schedule, and swamped with too many jobs. But the management of this location makes sure the staff understands how important customer service is.

Prices as posted, no hard push to over sell. Doesnt seem to matter if have an appt or not, can always count on taking just over an hour for 4 tires... but you get what you pay for.

The service was great and it appeared that they knew what they were doing. When night turned to day I noticed a chip in my wheel from the dismount machine. Not to mention they used chrome wheel weights on black custom wheels. The store manger said they don’t use black weights as they are too expensive, but he did not have a problem charging me more for the tire installation. When I brought the chip to his attention he said, “because I didn’t buy the tires there this happens.” Further, they said the chip was there before hand, and that a rock must have hit it. However there is no mark on the old tire nor the new one. They didn’t mark any damage on the paperwork I signed and my car is in perfect condition without a single scratch. I’M SUING!

I hope his manager is reading this because I just have to say.. Brandon has EXCELLENT customer service! When you have that under your belt, a business can thrive from the individual itself. From the moment I called the shop (keep in mind they were about to close) until the very end. He had a lot of patience answering question after question & never got frustrated for taking up his time. There’s a difference between helping a customer focus on their needs and trying to upsell to make a sale. Thank you for all your help Brandon!! Someone give this man a raise.

I had went in to NTB on November 3rd! I spent quite a bit of money repairing some things on my car! After going home that evening my car had 3 new lights on. I called NTB and explained to them what was happening they told me to come right in and they would get me in right away! I came in and they did just that! Cindy was a big help, she helped me from start to finish and fixed with issues with no problem! I highly recommend the employees here! They are very friendly & professional! Y’all have my business!

Customer service was exceptional. They explained what my roadside service would cover and that my tire could not be fixed and showed me why. They were friendly and got me out very quickly. All automotive repair experiences should be this nice.

Great service and great prices! I’ve taken my vehicles to other shops and haven’t had this great of service in a long time. So pleased with my experiences here and with the mechanics. Went in around 5pm on a Tuesday. Asked to get a tire patched. The manager was honest and told me it would be about an hour wait. I asked to make an appt for 7 so I wouldnt have to wait and he said sure. Came back at 7:20 and they were able to patch my tire. I chatted with the mgr while I waited and he was friendly and polite. I will definitely go back when in the area and need my car serviced

The best experience Ive had buying tires. Jeremy listened to my concerns, explained what he recommended and why. I was given updates while I waited and left as a happy customer feeling good about what I just bought. They should offer a class in customer service. A+

The team there is pretty dedicated to finding you good deals where they can.I was a fly on the wall while my car was getting fixed and I was pretty impress at the lengths they went through to help their customers. Pep boys ruined my last car (didn’t screw all of my tires lug nuts on), NTB has done a great job so far.

Very disappointed had a 9:30 appointment for 4 new tires and alignment. Didnt get out until well after 12. Had to ask shop manager to held service tech that was working on my truck, at 10: 35 he wasnt even finished with the first tire.

A typical tire patch repair should take about 30mins and I went in today- 3 HOURS LATER they said were good to go. Awful customer service from our service writer. She claimed they were busy and it should take about 1 1/2hr tops. What an absolute lie. I literally spent 3 hours waiting here with 3 year old toddlers. The service technicians have trouble time management as I could clearly see that they didnt touch my vehicle until an hour after I arrived and then they removed the tire from the rim and left it sitting for another 45mins. There is no serious rush to these people as clearly labor costs $145/hr. I feel lied to and not of ANY importance to this company and I surely plan on taking my other vehicle to business elsewhere. ***also there is green mold in their coffee maker water carafe- DO NOT DRINK THEIR COFFEE.

Made a visit today because my tire pressure sensor alarm kept going off. Jay and Brandon were awesome! They adjusted the pressure in my tires and also discovered that the sensor is out on my passenger rear tire. Ill have to come back and get that fixed when I get paid, but they were so awesome in explaining to me what was going on, and making sure it wasnt the computer going out. Yay!

Tire blew on my work van. I asked if they could take it off and swap it with my spare. They said sure for $10. I went to give then gentleman my credit card and he said cash only. He wanted to pocket the money for himself and refused to help me and left me stranded because I didnt have cash, only card.

I made an appointment 2 weeks ago for a 6:30pm slot for standard oil change NOTHING ELSE, I arrived at 6:15 and noticed only 2 APPOINTMENTS on the board with another guy in the lobby. I was told 1/2-1 hour wait I said okay Ill be outside in the red truck with my husband. I waited and waited and watched both cars leave, watched the tech go for smoke break after smoke break, around 7pm my car still wasnt taken back and no cars.. another car showed up. I waited some more. Another smoke break and the guy FINALLY looks at my paper and keys.. THEN MOVES TO THE NEXT AND PULLS THE OTHER CAR! At 7:30 I said forget it, went inside, asked for my keys and left. No apology, no Im sorry can we reschedule?; Anything we can do?; We got backed up. NOTHING.

My ex husband called about tires for my car because it was shaking and was told a certain price (under $200 for 2 tires). I get there to be told something different (almost $500 for two tires) I had made an appointment the day before and was told it would be better since I had to wait. When I got there i was told an appointment didnt matter and I shouldnt wait and kept getting pushed to leave and was shown their schedule for the day as if I was being unreasonable. I had to tell the man that my husband left me and I had no other options (in front of all the other clients) before he would leave me alone about leaving my vehicle there. Then 2 hours later everything is done and no mention about my other tires so I asked how they had looked just in case I needed to get more soon. I was told they looked good but maybe one had been over inflated at some point but it was still good. As I drove off I realized my problem still exists. It would have meant a lot to me if they had stopped what they were doing when they realized the back tires were fine and the front tires were not and informed me so we could have made the change to the front tires instead. I guess the safety of your clients doesnt matter as long as you make money off of them.After receiving a response from the owner I did what they said and still have not received any contact from anyone. Went to this location for an oil change, i had a coupon for 19.99. When they we finished my bill was 28.51. When asking them why they said i had a 6 quart and coupon was for 5 or less quarts and that i should have known that. To me that was a rude response and they should have told me the price difference before the oil change so i could have decided that i wanted to spend that amount. I will not return, it could have been handled better. On the plus side the service was quick, about 30 mins. The person i dealt with was Nat the manager.

In Austin for my daughters soccer tournament and in between games I went in and they made sure I was taken care and very quick knowing I had to be at another game. Great experience. I highly recommend this location. Awesome service.

We were here from Missouri visiting our grandbaby. On a Saturday night we had a front tire blow out. Due to all the hiway construction no doubt. Sunday we stopped in and they fixed our tire. We did make an appointment, but they got us in early. Very helpful and even checked to make sure car wasnt damaged. Great location. Great selection of tires and prices. My husband totally enjoyed the whole appointment. Now we know we will be safe driving the 600 miles home. Thank you for making a tense situation into a better situation. I recommend this shop to anyone

JEREMY is AWESOME! I had a flat and had my spare put on after work late one afternoon. I came in 15 minutes before closing and Jeremy said him and his crew would stay late to be sure my tire was replaced . The customer service was great and being a woman they didnt try to oversell me anything I didnt need . I appreciated the waiting room and clean place. Ask for Jeremy that dude rocks .

Just needed a battery tested. Walked in the lobby they said they were closed.

Had to get my Jeep into a mechanic on a Sunday- that is hard to do but thankfully NTB was open. The staff was very friendly and I am very thankful for the mechanic Anthony Smith- he was so nice and quick to help fix my battery issue. I highly recommend this location as the service was top notch

Replaced tires and oil here. Quick in and out service. Prices are reasonable and comparable.

This is the 2nd NTB that Ive been too and I must say this is a great improvement from the last place. Though they only had 1 tech today and I was a walk in, they still worked on my car in a timely manor and did everything they could to help locate my tire warranty from Big O. I will definitely be back!

Man this guys rocket fast, got me in earlier that my appointment time gave me estimate time one hour ish for 4 new tires and alignment guy who took care of 4 tires and alignment was super fast after 40 min my car was ready to go!Thank you so much Nathan and your guy with tattooed arm keep rocking excellent service, my new Continental’s are awesome!

On my way to Dallas my tire blew out minutes before this shopped closed yet they still helped. Also Brandon the technician onsite was very honest and helpful and you dont see that these days. I will only go to NTBs now.

I believe that competition helps the consumer all around and I wanted to give these guys a shot. I purchased a full set for my truck 4 years ago from this location instead of Discount like I had on my previous set. The initial sale was 4 stars but every tire balance and rotation up to this past weekend was 2 hours. That is time WITH a scheduled appointment. I called on my day off to get a wait time for a tire repair. I was told on the phone 45 min. I drove up there and in the 10 minutes it took me to get there, I was then told an hour and a half. My treads were low and I was told they may not be able to patch the screw hole. I asked if he would be able to look at it and tell me if it was repairable. He said, Yes, they will look to see if it can be patched.After an hour and a half on the button, the counter associate walked to me and said, OK sir, sign here. He placed some paperwork in front of me. I signed it and he says, Unfortunately he will not be able to repair the tire. Really? I had to wait an hour and a half for some one to just say that. I drove to Purcell up the road and in 17 minutes and after $22, I was on the road with a patched tire.Sorry guys, I gave you every opportunity to earn a customer for life. I can literally go anywhere else at this point and end up happier. The bar was set that low for me. Shop around and try to avoid this store unless you really have to...
