This place is so unprofessional. I went in to get an inspection on my car, I seen them come and place my keys and invoice on the desk. 2 guys was sitting behind the desk having a conversation no one acknowledged me. I went and asked about it and was told “Ashley was the only person that can check me out” I guess one of the guys pretended to go in the garage to get “Ashley” so I waited and waited and waited still no Ashley. I asked one of the guys to go check he comes back and say “oh she’s in the back doing something” again here I go waiting and waiting so at this point I decided to go into the garbage part myself, and asked for Ashley and was told she left to go get her kid from school, at this point I’m mad. I feel like morePeople should be trained assist in situations like this. She should have came and check the customer before she left. I will never visit this establishment again, I refused to spend my hard earned money on a business that don’t value customer service.

BEWARE ! Yesterday my wife brought our 2019 dodge ram into this shop to have it inspected and the back tires checked and repaired for leaks ! They charged 25 dollars per tire to plug or patch them, they sent her on her way after the repairs were done, but they failed to tighten all of the lug nuts on the back right tire ? My wife proceeded to drive the truck down the freeway with the tire wobbling and throwing the lights nuts off of the truck, in endangering her life and others, lucky there werent babys in the vehicle also . The owner is aware of the incident, but because hes on vacation doesnt consider it important to contact me on the matter . So if you value your safety and doing buisness with others that do also ? Avoid this location .

I’ve dealt with many different places around town for tires in Texas, and have never had service like this. They were professional, customer service oriented, punctual, affordable and most of all honest. I asked them to check my suspension to see if I needed to replace my outer rods.( which two other places said I did). Open Road told me that I was fine and no need to spend the extra money. This place should be on top everyone’s list of you’re looking for a one of a kind consumer centric experience!

I was beyond impressed with the customer service and kindness provided to my 19 year old daughter. I called to get information over the phone, and Victor assisted me. He was very knowledgeable, and he took the time to explain everything. When my daughter showed up with her vehicle, Victor helped her right away. She said he was super nice and helpful. He was able to fix her car within the hour and sent her on her way. THEN! He followed up with a phone call to ask how her car was driving. Best experience not only for myself, but for my daughter as well. Definitely recommend him!

Open Road is ALWAYS good to me. Theyre honest, reliable, reasonable, and personable. All boxes checked. They do good work, and they definitely put their customers first. Ive never felt like they were trying to talk me into unnecessary services and they dont find reasons to charge me for things or insist I get work done each time I visit. Sometimes I just stop in, like today, to say hey how is my car looking and what do I need? Ive been taking my cars to them for all 6 years Ive lived in Austin and I will continue to do so for as long as I live here or somewhere nearby. I no longer live as close to them as I did 6 years ago, but I will always drive the distance to support them b/c theyre worth it. :). Shoutout to Patrick who remembers his customers, even though he only sees you once or twice a year. Its nice to feel like youre not a number in a deli line....NEXT! LOL.

I went to another shop in RR the guy quoted a outrageous price! So I put the work off. I was so blown away buy what these guys quoted me. The price was very reasonable. The shop itself came recommended. The wait time was not very long. the parking is a little dicey, but manageable. good location. I dont rate highly unless its extremely good. This one, as high as possible. And no, theyre not trying to upsell you. Completely honest.

Im from out of state and was worried that I had an issue with one of my tires. Patrick at the front desk was great. They checked out my vehicle and (correctly) concluded that there was nothing wrong. I took my car in because I thought I had a slow leak frommy back right tire they took over an hour trying to find the leak and turns out that there is no leak or its just so incredibly slow that its impossible to see but after doing over an hour of work didnt charge me anything. They said to come back if it keeps happening or if I noticed it leaking faster as this is midsummer Texas so there are temperature fluctuations that can mess with the PSI of the tire. Not to mention they were only going to charge me $16.75 for a patch job which is a very good price from a reputable mechanic or tire shop. I will be back for any future problems I have with my car. Also the customer service was really good, nice people looking to please their customers. A++

Went in to have an alignment done on my car, and had a great experience. They were quick, the people that work there seemed really cool to talk to, and they were able to fix my crooked steering wheel from me replacing my tie-rods with a perfect alignment. Would highly recommend.

They lied about not charging me for certain things that they failed to see when doing my rear breaks and when I went to get my refund back that I paid on other work to get done before hand he gave me my money back and charged me for things he said he wouldnt. Very disrespectful and dont know how to treat customers who spend upwards of $4,000 in the past 2 years. Its a shame and hope they dont continue screwing people over who work hard for there money. I w Ill NOT go back there again. Even Patrick (the manager) tried to play like he didnt know what I was talking about when I talked to him the day before. He lied. And the petty receptionist was rude when I asked for my money back. Muttering things saying well the cars gonna have problems I know cars will break down but I shouldnt be ripped off by the garage I spend thousands at. What a shame. Open Road continues to surpass my expectations. I brought my truck in for an A/C issue. Which turned out to be what I thought was, directional flow controller, but they fixed it at a fraction of the cost the other mechanic quoted me. They also with machine your rotors during a brake job to save you hundred of dollars that the brake specialist stores wont do. I would recommend them all day long to anyone with car troubles. A fair price and quality work that cant be beat.

This place is great. I was on vacation last month and noticed that something from underneath my vehicle had come lose and required a couple of new screws. Fabian checked me in and had the tech (whose name I wish I would have gotten but didnt) immediately pulled my car in and drilled a couple of screws in. I went to Open Road for new tires, and despite the parking lot being full and the garage appearing to be full as well, I was in and out in less than two hours (including my consultation, check-in, and full alignment as well). This was in sharp contrast to my oil change at a large national tire and battery shop the same week, when I had actually made an appointment. In spite of the appointment giving me priority, I waited over two hours for a simple oil change. I appreciate the efficiency and unrivaled professionalism I get at Open Road every single time I go there. From now on, I wont be going anywhere else.

This place is the best around In my opinion. Whether it’s simple preventative maintenance such as tires, oil change, bulb replacement or something as simple as putting air in your tires they got your back. They have brilliant mechanics as well for major mechanical repairs. Engine to tailpipe open road automotive has your back. Prices are unbeatable and half the stuff you pay extra for at other places such as tire balancing and alignments are included for no charge if you buy a complete tire package “all 4” or in my case “all 6”! Dually owner problems. Haha. I just want to thank the owner of this business and all his employees for going above and beyond for me and my equipment for multiple years. I twist wrenches myself and sometimes it’s just better to take it to someone who has the proper equipment to get the job done. So with that being said, this is the only place I will ever go. Trust me and take my word for it.
